Stop feeding the beast. For every dollar they increase your taxes, fees, extortion, call it what you will, reduce your spending by a dollar, as much as you can. Don’t put it in one of the banks. they are already on the way to control. Purchase gold, silver, old silver coins. We who produce, work for an honest living, cannot go on strike to a mythical Galt’s Gulch, but we can join in a “soft strike” to match the soft fascism of a government hell bent on taking care of us.

$600 a month for room and board?!?!? That’s a hell of a deal!! I pay $700 just for a room! Goddamn, I need to get sent to prison… Anyway, I’m tired of these bleeding heart stories. Clearly these are isolated incidents which hold their own set of unique circumstances and do not accurately reflect the legal system as a whole (however screwed up it may be).

I’ve been homeless more times than I care to count from childhood on–debts add up fairly easy. I have clawed my way out again and again only to be beaten back into poverty. I am still clawing back again there will be no next time because if there comes a next time I would likely kill the person or persons responsible then they can have a legitimate reason to put me in jail.

Oh by the way,
when I got behind that one time she got assistance from the state (Maryland) ,and in addition to paying my support,and catching up the arrears I also had to pay back to the state any monies they had given her.

That’s true,I was between jobs once and got behind in my support payments.The judge actualy told me that he didn’t care if I ended up living in an alley,If I didn’t pay within the next 30 days I was going to jail.I have custody of my other son,his mother is behind in her support payments by about $17,000 (she has never payed anything since the court order) and the court or dept. of support have never done a thing.The case worker and I got into an arguement about it once (I told her there were two sets of rules.One for men and another for women.If a man was that far behind they would come and take you right off your job to be locked up) and now she won’t even talk to me about the case.If I call the office she is never in,and if I go see her she is too busy to see me.My son is 17 now,what are they going to do in July when he turns 18 and the case will need to be closed ? In all these years they have never garnished her wages,or taken thr income tax refund like they do to men.You always hear about deadbeat dads,what about deadbeat mom’s ?

Where do you get the idea that people are meant to design themselves? I don’t follow a lot of your reasoning; I hope you don’t make too many important decisions based on these ideas.

When did the state force people to pay for their own prison cell? I had no idea this took place.
I was aware of the traffic violation increases and extra expenses that must be paid.

The US is going crazy because of greed and stupidity. Government in not a money making business. This proves there is too much government. If black folks would come on board with the tea parties and other groups, change could come. It is time to come together because we are in this together.

Or we can continue to bicker while the government picks our collective pockets.
