Rob Dew talks with the leader of the Global Hemp Initiative, Eric Pollitt, about the versatile uses of hemp in today’s industrial manufacturing world.

Eric explains the antiquated laws that prevent the U.S. from growing hemp for industrial use and how he is working to change those laws in his home state of Illinois.

We currently import raw hemp fiber and seeds from Europe, Canada and China for manufacturing consumer goods because of our outdated laws. The consumer market alone is worth $580 million a year.
