Hillary Clinton ignored the terror attack in Istanbul for several hours on Tuesday to instead focus on “Islamophobia” in the U.S.

Despite every news station reporting on the bombings, which killed 41 and injured 239, Clinton never mentioned it in her speech which also centered on “revenge porn” and “cyber stalking” as well as the aforementioned “Islamophobia.”

“I’ll do everything I can as president to figure out how we can give victims like you tools and protect yourself and others,” Clinton told the town hall audience in LA, and she didn’t mean victims of terrorism. “I’ll look to all of you — bullying online, revenge porn, cyber stalking — all too common, ruins lives, leads people to lose confidence, depression, suicide.”

In comparison, Trump responded to the Istanbul bombings as media reports started pouring in, and his tweets were his most popular of the day.

And while Trump was responding to the jihadi attack, Clinton was denouncing him – not ISIS – by stating “I am not sympathetic to the xenophobia, the misogyny, the homophobia, the Islamophobia… or the sort of dog whistles that Trump uses to create that fervor among a lot of his supporters.”

Clinton finally released a statement on Istanbul, albeit delayed by a few hours – much like her response to the EgyptAir crash that was initially blamed on terrorism.

In the aftermath of that crash, Clinton focused on blasting the Second Amendment and painting herself as a ‘tough, courageous leader’ while saying nothing about the downing of the Airbus A320 which claimed 66 lives.

And her slow response to both incidents is no different than her handling of Benghazi as Secretary of State in which she was also notably silent for hours after the embassy attack began.

There’s no reason to believe she would respond to terrorist attacks any quicker as president – in fact, she’d encourage even more attacks to happen given her tenure at the State Dept. where she accepted “donations” from sponsors of extremism like Saudi Arabia.
