Hillary Clinton said in an interview airing on “60 Minutes” on Sunday that she was not responsible for the security failures that lead to the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi claiming, “It was not my ball to carry.”

Host Scott Pelley asked Clinton, “What’s your responsibility for Benghazi? Did you make any mistakes around that?”

“Well Scott, there have been, I think now, nine separate investigations– And they did not find any such culpability,” Clinton said. “I took responsibility, I was Secretary of State. They didn’t politicize it,” Clinton said. “So when this happened in Benghazi, I immediately stood up an independent committee — distinguished Americans, military and civilian experts. They came out and they said, “You know, the ball was dropped — in security. And, you know, some of the decisions that were made– probably should have been rethought.”
