How do you protect groups and not individuals? Groups only exist in our minds. Individuals are real. I can’t believe that we can create laws that are based on abstract ideas like “hate” and “terror”. These are clearly bad things, but they can’t be objectively defined to the extent needed to base legislation on them.

The actions are already illegal I will state this one last time. Assault, murder, theft, battery are already illegal. What this does is actually criminalize the thought process behind the action. It is designed to criminalize the thought process. That is what they really want. The thought police.

I don’t believe there have even been 80,000 crimes really motivated by hatred of gays, blacks or Jews. I would almost bet everything it is an inflated figure.

Every crime committed against a gay or Jew I bet was included despite the real motivation. EX:
You kill a gay to get drug money and now it is a hate crime, despite the fact you could have cared less or may not have known they were gay.

Jones is right about this crisis – reaction – solution. Even if there is not crises they fabricate one to pass their agenda. The agenda to criminalize the thought process, the action is already illegal they are now criminalizing the “perceived” thought process behind the crime.
