The DHS, affectionately called the “Ministry” here because it resembles something out of Orwell’s famous novel, wants to fit airports with ray guns. I kid you not. “The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will consider fitting high-power microwave electropulse rayguns at US airports, in order to defend against the threat of terrorists firing portable anti-aircraft missiles at airliners,” reports Lewis Page for The Register. “American defense heavyweight Raytheon would partner with Israel’s Rafael and Kongsberg of Norway to provide the technology, according to a report in Flight International. The proposed kit is known as ‘Vigilant Eagle’, and is competing for DHS securo-dollars with defensive systems that could be fitted to the airliners themselves — for instance BAE Systems’ JetEye.”
Okay, tell me this does not sound like another “defense industry” scam, yet another scheme to make billions of dollars. Sure, there is the possibility somebody with a rocket launcher may take out an airliner. But if al-Qaeda hates our freedom, why haven’t they done this already? Is al-Qaeda conducting a war against the Great Satan, one with battles strung over decades? At this rate, it will take a thousand years to install the Great Caliph/Khalifah.
In fact, since 9/11, there has not been one single solitary attack against the Great Satan. Some will proudly state this is because of our vigilance and determination. It’s because Congress passed the Patriot Act and other Constitution bashing legislation and no shortage of presidential directives. Occasionally we get treated to a shoddily rigged case, such as the street kids in Miami who colluded with al-Qaeda — that is, an FBI informant — or the kids in Canada who had the government deliver a truckload of fertilizer, passing it off as a dangerous explosive. And then there was the patently absurd airliner liquid fiasco, when we were told miscreants would mix up explosives in the bathroom of an aloft airliner. However, my favorite is the Fort Dix pizza killers, Muslims who were going to deliver death instead of hand-tossed pies.
Now we’re going to get ray guns at the airport. “Vigilant Eagle, unlike its rivals, would be sited at the airport. Light, portable anti-aircraft missiles of the type used by terrorists/insurgents lack the ability to hit a jet at cruising altitude, so such attacks would need to be mounted close to takeoff or landing,” Page continues. “Vigilant Eagle would detect any missiles fired using a network of infrared cameras to pick out the hot rocket exhaust plume. The system would then focus an intense microwave beam on the flying weapon, generated by a so-called Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) of the type used in the latest fighter radars.”
Man, what a deal for Raytheon. How many airports in this country? Do the math. Cha-cha-ching!
In fact, to simply roll this system out and test it for the Ministry, Raytheon wants a cool $10 million. It used to be a company built something, tested it, and showed it off to a prospective customer in anticipation of selling it. But that was before the “defense industry” (defense against illusory enemies and manufactured Goldsteins) captured a big chunk of the government, something Eisenhower warned about as he left office.
Get ready for airports to resemble firebases. Of course, this wonderful technology you are going seriously in debt to pay for will never be used because there are no terrorists with rocket launchers sitting at the end of runways. Maybe a demented pizza guy waving a Koran but not a Muji with a Stinger. Naturally, in a few years, Raytheon will come up with Vigilant Eagle II and we’ll have to pay millions to see how it works and billions to have it installed.
It’s a sweetheart deal for the death merchants. But then that’s why the Ministry was created in the first place — to allow death merchants and “security” corporations to eat at the public trough.

Cha ching, cha ching, but atleast Raytheon will not be going to Dubai, as long as we can hold them hostage with the lure of MONEY here at home.
The sooner everyone realizes this is really a money war, the better off we will be at addressing EVERYTHING on the table in terms of the war on terrorism, which obviously involves back door deals and black operations to justify taking everyone to the cleaners.
It’s really that simple and comes to finding the cheapest labor force that always shows up for work and that places no demands for vacation time, health care or retirement upon their employer.
Lets get with the program people!
And because all American males between the ages of 16 & 47 now have PTSD and can no longer bear arms, we seriously need sound minded and able bodied men from Mexico and other places to defend this country from the terrorists. Mexico may be our last hope.

This ray gun isn’t something new. Its old tecnhology. It was used for the same purpose back in THE SOVIET UNION.
The ray guns were created by two brothers, the –Aikhanian brothers.–
The soviets began using thins in the late 60s and 70s. The two brothers were top physicists who worked on controling different types of rays, and what effect it would have on different things.

great article. thanks for writing it and putting this into clear perspective.

The idea is to purposely spend our country into bankruptcy, collapse the dollars value (which at this point is almost nothing) and it’s usage, then they can say “oh no a completely unforeseeable economic crash occured we need to create a unifying currency to compete with the euro”. Like little lemmings everyone will buy into it and any who oppose will be accused of being “anti-american” especially by the selfish people who believe they and their families are doomed to starve to death unless this unifying currency is created. These will be the same selfish people who were warned against plans to crash the dollar in favor of a Euro-like currency to consolidate Mexico, Canada, United States and said that is the stuff of imagination and anyone who talks about it are conspiracy nuts. Then when it goes down these same people will say this is because of the war, or this was the housing markets doing and the government is doing nothing but trying to help and they will even argue it is a good idea, while saying the government or those in control of it have nothing to do with it. It’s sad that slowly but surely people are being conditioned to give up their freedoms, and then even believe while doing so they are still just as free as they were before. Slowly society is being crafted to hate freedom, and independence, and it will not be too long from now when anyone that mentions the constitution even to an average citizen will be spat upon for bringing it up. In regards to this article it’s all bulls---.
I am not saying that the government does not plan to install these microwave cannons in the airports and around the country, I am saying the reason behind these microwave cannons are nothing more than a bold faced lie. What could they use these cannons for other than stopping non-existent terrorists with rocket launchers from taking down airliners? Well perhaps it is actually meant to do nothing more than taking down aircrafts. Why would they want or plan to take down aircrafts? Possibly the reason behind it is to stop people from flying out and flying in, to completely isolate us off from the rest of the world while they let crash our economy and wait for us to give in and hand over our rights on a silver platter. Perhaps there are larger plans here to actually turn America into one large prison system, either way these microwave cannons are not to take down missiles from non-existent terrorists with rocket launchers that is the most ridiculous god damned thing I have ever heard.

It just never ends.
April 5th, 2008 at 12:51 pm
What would stop the terrorists from using the rayguns themselves to blow up the airliner?
Then you would have to have a counter raygun from the air to blow up the rayguns right?
April 5th, 2008 at 1:12 pm
The reason there have been no ‘terrorist’ attacks in the US since 9/11 is because they fulfilled thier agenda for said act. They pass the Patriot Act, Homeland Security, Victory Act, and so on. We are in the middle east killing people who are trying to protect their homeland and we are stealing their oil. Mission accomplished.
These ray guns… I can’t believe I’m even talking about this, I feel like I’m in a James Bond movie or something… These ray guns are just, as stated, another big money boomer for the death merchants. It may pass, it may not, hard to say. The fact that its a possibility is scary though. And whats worse is that most of America would react similar to, ‘holy sh** thats the new ray gun things I’ve heard about. Damn that is awesome! Could you imagine seeing one of those in action? Awesome!’
Media brainwashing at its best. Ray guns are movieish tools used to fight in things like space battle or high tech futuristic sci-fi movies. People will associate them with these films and will automatically reflect on their feelings from seeing them used in them. Most of America is stupified and uninformed and if this is brought up in discussion it will probably pass without a hitch.
April 5th, 2008 at 1:18 pm
I’d say that somewhere in the world today these Ronald “ray guns” are being employed,as we speak and I have a hunch that they have already been tested,on commercial airliners,in my wonderful country of Kanada.
April 5th, 2008 at 2:22 pm
Al-qaeda sure is profitable for providing such wonderful opportunities as…. wait a minute…it doesn’t exist…a fiat terror club, Ponzi must be rooling in his grave!
April 5th, 2008 at 2:37 pm
This is the real hazard when you get on a plane.
Hundreds of passenger jets are flying around with cracks in their fuselage, the FAA inspectors reports that should have grounded the aircraft years ago, have been ignored right up the chain of command, the planes are not airworthy and with cracks all over them they are likely to depressurize during flight, and to break up during bad weather and in rough landings. PBS
April 5th, 2008 at 3:47 pm
Once the ray guns are installed in all of the airports, they will then get billions of dollars from US to research and develop light sabers to defend against those dastardly al-cia-da killer robots.
April 5th, 2008 at 3:54 pm
Awesome! Can you imagine shooting down terrorists with a ray-gun? This is just as cool as Raytheon building these neat-o clystron tubes that glowed green when they put 40,000 volts through them to power the radars for the Nike-Hercules Air Defense missile System. Two operations later they tell me I am cancer-free. Of course they said that these green rays wouldn’t hurt us when we worked on the radars, but what’s a little white lie among friends? Why worry about tubes that had a big red radiation symbol on them?(especially when you are doing it to “protect” your country?) Yeah, I trust Raytheon to do the right thing.

For how many years have aviation experts and airlines stated the need to upgrade to a GPS state-of-the art system to monitor air traffic, especially at the major hubs? Although the term near miss is a misnomer, nonetheless the lack of a system with this grade of monitoring v. radar-based ATC and regional systems has resulted is far too many “near misses” both within and without major metro radials.
The response from Homeland Security is Ray Guns? Exactly who is running this department, S.P.E.C.T.R.E.? Contact Congressman Oberstar’s Office and express the need for upgrades to GPS systems to monitor air traffic. Ray Guns are unnecessary pork for an air traffic control control system in need of a quantum upgrade. They will probably work with the efficiency of the recently opened Terminal 5 at Heathrow. Oops we got the wrong plane, those darn tail markers can get so confusing. Gimme a break.
Anyone in aviation knows we squawk transponders all the time as soon as we are in touch with regional and the control tower. Sure there is the occasional Sunday leisure pilot who forgets to set his correctly and we make wide swaths around until the pilot can state intentions. There are also plenty of people who like to parachute (jumpers) and we make sure to stay way above them.
If a fellow pilot with full ratings can state a valid reason why we need Ray Guns, I sure would love to see it posted here. I will make the exception for military bases, many of which already have a form of this technology. This is in reference to commercial airports. Let’s just keep piling on junk so the cost of flying goes higher than 50,000 feet.
And Roach is totally correct about aircraft flying with fuselage cracks all over the US. I can guarantee there have been several aircraft that have made near porpoise landings which have yet to see an inspection. That is the essence of air safety.
Ray Guns also speak far too loud about the inability of the most sophisticated country in terms of monitoring aircraft resorting to PORK BARREL spending. Take the technology and try it out in Iraq more and then selectively see how well it works. I have a great deal of doubt that air traffic controllers are in the mode to employ idiot ray guns when they already have a massive amount of air traffic to deal with. Someone should vaporize the concept fast. Enough defense spending for what is increasingly becoming a senseless approach towards airport security and safety.

Tim Gatto, sorry to hear about that. You know, perhaps you realize the truth of the matter. If you were asked if these things were truly going up to protect the American Citizens, you would most likely laugh and say no, am I right? Half of what is being done in the name of protecting the citizens harms them and these things are done knowing that it will hurt people, so how can it be said that these things are there to protect the citizens. Most of the time when the media and those in control of our government says something is in our best interests they are stating the exact opposite of their true intentions. For instance the name Patriot Act, a piece of legislation any true patriot would be staunchly opposed to, the Victory Act, a name that sounds like we are the victors yet we are no closer to a “win” than we were when the war first started.
Mission accomplished, oh really? Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, which would make us less prosperous, less secure as we would lose our constitution and independence/freedom. The point is they always state the opposite of their true intentions, and the opposite of what is really going on. When keeping all of this in mind when they say these ray guns are to protect someone from blowing up or crashing an airliner, you can be certain that these are really meant to take down airliners and maybe even from very great distances. Great comment by the way Tim Gatto.

I think someone has already developed a use for a gun like this. Notice at the 11 second mark a big flash then around 12 or 13 or 14 second mark notice ray/plasma ray almost hit a ufo in space. But the ufo barely gets away. From the space shuttle film footage that slipped through:

I think it’s humorous that we’re debating writing to Congress to get this stopped. Even if Congress DID listen to us, all it would take is another false-flag terror event where a CIA operative shoots down a plane with a StA missile and we’re going to get one of these at every airport in the nation. England will follow suite. Then most of Europe, and then the Federal Reserve bankers will be forced to let the people at Raytheon buy in to the global banking elite because of the trillions of dollars they will command.
The only real way you can fight this is to do something radical: just stop flying. Stop flying completely. Even if it’s inconvenient. Even if it means not seeing your family for Christmas. A massive flying boycott is the only thing that will even remotely begin to make any of these mooks listen to us. If we can show them that collectively we can make them lose more money than they stand to gain from their new ’security’ measures, they’ll scrap the idea.

OK, SO WHAT HAPPENS IF AN ARAB TERRORIST CHARTERS, OR EVEN BETTER YET BUYS AN AIRLINE AND USES IT TO HIT A BUILDING.
WHAT THE HELL IS A RAY GUN AT AN AIRPORT GONNA DO ?

Instead of microwave beams they should change it to energy beam. Microwaves function by heating water. Thats why microwaves would be an effective crowd dispersal method because 70% of the human body is water. But there is no water component to missiles. So why would the government bother spending billions of dollars placing technology into airports which would have no apparent function whatsoever. Theyre not that stupid. They’re just using microwave weapons as the face story, an energy beam would have the potential to actually destroy a solid object, the government just doesnt want you to know they possess those kinds of weapons cause they’re pretty secret. My suggestion would be to look into scalar technology if you have any doubt about this post. Type it in on a youtube search, you may be surprised as to what you find

Look up American Airlines flight 612, December 2005. Pilots reported a missile being fired at them. False flag perhaps?

The sooner this economy gets down the piping the sooner we can get on with the real revolution. I really hate this waiting for the final straw thing. Lets get to it before I get antsy
April 5th, 2008 at 11:46 pm
Ok, so now we are going to have ray guns at the airport? That sounds fine to me – after all if a cellphone is too much for aircraft circuitry I wonder how effective a system with a focused beam thousands of times as powerful would be for causing a crash?
April 6th, 2008 at 12:58 am
ezra,
people need more time…
50 million americans and canadians should go buy firearms right now and become proficient in them…
people are too scared or bored or stupid to get to know their neighbours, 50 years ago, everyone knew their neighbours, but we’ve been conditioned through the media and government schools to ‘not interfere’ …, get to know your community, love people, do something, love your country, store food, save every cent you can, invest in gold, learn to use firearms… , alex says all this, and I do too..
most people just get info and do nothing, fat lazy people

The stock market crash of nineteen twenty-nine marked the beginning of the worst economic crisis in American history. Millions of people lost their jobs. Thousands lost their homes. During the next several years, a large part of the richest nation on earth learned what it meant to be poor.

Yeah, I gotta admit, somebody’s making money with selling “junk” ! Can you imagine all the anti-terrorist horse s--- lying around with rust & cob-webs growing all over it ? Oh, I see, we’ll require the maintenance department to polish and up-keep the crap, in case we need it ?
Oh, my God No ! The maintenance department is now “AL-QAEDA” !!!
April 6th, 2008 at 5:36 am
This is just another text book example of people in power using their position to pocket some easy money…
The Bush family and their old money contributes to this and money laundering as well…
It makes me question whether Bush ran for office to enhance his pocket book, or to set the foundation of a dictatorship that is now the United States…
However, I guess its possible and evident for him to kill two birds and a whole nation with one stone.
April 6th, 2008 at 8:42 am
They are not going to use them against the “terrorist”, they are going to use them against us…
April 6th, 2008 at 8:49 am
I don’t know if anyone at the Ministry noticed, but airliners typically descend to a couple of thousand feet several MILES (horizontal distance) from the airport. Conversely, if a terror critter just had to shoot one down on takeoff, it also takes (in my guess) at least a couple of MILES (horizontal distance from the airport) for the aircraft to climb past the effective range of a shoulder fired anti aircraft missile. OK, that’s a lot of technical stuff, so what does it mean. It means that the terror critter doesn’t have to be anywhere near an airport to shoot down an airliner. Contrary to popular belief, and any number of Arnold Schwartzenegger movies, terror critters will not lie in wait at the end of a runway waiting to spring up as the plane crosses the treshold in order to make their appointment with their 72 dark eyed virgins.
April 6th, 2008 at 9:20 am
Hmmm, lets think about this too … I’ve seen a few anti missile technology systems being demonstrated online or on TV. None of them use microwaves, in fact the best way to deal with a small missile is a smaller , faster missile. Or a well guided hail of bullets (a la metal storm). I suppose the “islamic militants” have such high technology now that traditional anti missile systems dont work anymore.
It is interesting that currently microwave systems (built by raytheon) are mainly used for crowd control, by inflicting massive pain and burns. Niiice.
April 6th, 2008 at 12:56 pm
Haha. No kidding #33. As soon as the reports of the anthrax originating in Fort Detrick, MD started to hit the news the information was almost immediately suppressed. It sucks when you get caught w/your hands in the cookie jar. It was a good way to remind anyone in Congress that thought about investigating 911 that they would be next.
Peace on earth and lets send everyone lots of love! They really need it!
April 6th, 2008 at 2:16 pm
More Fear Fear Fear….the sheeple must be kept afraid and simultaneously re-assured. I agree with earlier writer….. if you’re crazy, motivated enough, or psi ops enough to take down an airliner, why do it near an airport? Duh. TWA 800 [1996?]went down over the ocean off Long Island many minutes after take off. I’ve had party conversations with Former Naval Air Heli pilot [Fred Meyer] who saw missles head UPwards while flying ‘black out’ training ops that fatefull night. And there were some 30 plus other eye/ear witnesses……but of course, it HAD to be mechanical failure in the center tank. Such a touchy ‘problem’ that to date no airline has ever taken steps to correct the “problem” as far as I know. The EM weapons at airports and the Army toy revealed on 60 Minutes {Active Denial System} may likely already be in covertly in place and the airport EM Pulse weapon contract is padding someone’s pocket. Who really benefits…doubt it’s Raytheon only…..but their sales may have been faltering……..

Merhcants Of Genocide.
The nazis were never defeated.
The victory of WWII was greatly exagerated.
The nazis are alive and well today, they head the governments of all globalist nations……
April 7th, 2008 at 12:24 pm
You can’t turn on an ipod during take off/landing due to fear of radio interference … but they’re going to have high powered microwave guns ready to shoot hot spots in the sky — LIKE JET ENGINES!
This is a massively stupid and dangerous idea. It takes a stinger missile only a couple of seconds to travel thousands of feet. The defense system would have no time to analyze, react and determine that the situation was real or not. It could easily target airplane engines, which are all over the airport area. It will either be a danger to every plane coming in (and veering a little off course), or completely useless and not worth the price of the on-switch.
This should be stopped in its tracks. The potential for destroying a jetliner rather than a non-existent missile is far too great (but I suppose if that ever happened, it would be blamed on “Al Qaeda”).
