Obama is trying to ruin this country! Everyone he appoints is either a radical or they don”t pay their taxes! All he knows is to spend more money, and that is not the way to get out of the mess we are in. Tell him to listen to older people who have been through these things. He is on a EGO POWER trip .

You know, that is just sad. People said Bush was Hitler and now Obama is Hitler too? Hitler was horrible. I do NOT like Obama, but neither one of these guys deserve to compared to him. Have you ever watched movies about the Holocaust! Israel wants to be left alone in peace. But no Hamas – (Islamic terrorists) bomb them! They decide to bomb them back, kick thier ass, they are the bad guys? Obama is sending $900mil. to help rebuilt the terroist governed Gaza? What about the gangs, who do more damage to this country than Jews? These illiegals that come across the border rape & kill Americans? I agree is is time to revolt, but against the right people. We are talking about the leader of the Greatest country in the world, forcing our kids to be in this army, where you will be jailed if you speak out against Obama. I for one am not so proud of being German.

I too am outraged and want America back too!! Omaba is dangerous! Now he is hiring muslims in the White House that took thier oath on the Quoran! My god! My only hope is that in 2 years us smart people will vote Pelosi and the other dumbass dems out the door! Obama/Biden got a lot of slack about this bill before the election, they changed thier stance to “We urge young people to get involved” Stupid idiots in this country STILL voted him in. I only hope to god in 4 years from now, people realize what they did. I so wanted to be wrong about him and still try not to speak ill of him like the liberals did about Bush. I don’t like him, I don’t trust him, and do NOT want him to succeed! Peace and GOD BLESS America!

I read the bill several times. I did a search of the bill for key words like MANDATORY, REGUIRED, FORCED, etc. and CANNOT find language indicating young people will be forced to participate in mandatory national service programs.

I see that the bill calls for the formation of a commission to investigate, “Whether a workable, fair, and reasonable mandatory service requirement for all able young people could be developed, and how such a requirement could be implemented…”

Maybe one of you guys can point me to the provision in the bill that mandates service, the time lines, who will be required… and so forth.

‘(3) YOUTH ENGAGEMENT ZONE PROGRAM- The term ‘youth engagement zone program’ means a service learning program in which members of an eligible partnership described in paragraph (4) collaborate to provide coordinated school-based or community-based service learning opportunities, to address a specific community challenge, for an increasing percentage of out-of-school youth and secondary school students served by local educational agencies where–

‘(A) not less than 90 percent of the students participate in service-learning activities as part of the program; or

‘(B) service-learning is a mandatory part of the curriculum in all of the secondary schools served by the local educational agency.
