In 2000, America was described as the sole remaining superpower – or even the world’s “hyperpower”. Now we’re in real trouble (at the very least, you have to admit that we’re losing power and wealth in comparison with China).
How did it happen so fast?
As everyone knows, the war in Iraq – which will end up costing $3-5 trillion dollars – was launched based upon false justifications. Indeed, the government apparently planned both the Afghanistan war (see this and this) and the Iraq war before 9/11.
And the financial system collapsed last year due to looting and fraud.
How Empires Fall
But Paul Farrel provides a bigger-picture analysis, quoting Jared Diamond and Marc Faber.
Diamond’s book ’s, Collapse: How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed, studies the collapse of civilizations throughout history, and finds:
Civilizations share a sharp curve of decline. Indeed, a society’s demise may begin only a decade or two after it reaches its peak population, wealth and power…
One of the choices has depended on the courage to practice long-term thinking, and to make bold, courageous, anticipatory decisions at a time when problems have become perceptible but before they reach crisis proportions
And PhD economist Faber states:
How [am I] so sure about this final collapse?
Of all the questions I have about the future, this is the easiest one to answer. Once a society becomes successful it becomes arrogant, righteous, overconfident, corrupt, and decadent … overspends … costly wars … wealth inequity and social tensions increase; and society enters a secular decline.
[Quoting 18th century Scottish historian Alexander Fraser Tytler:] The average life span of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years progressing from “bondage to spiritual faith … to great courage … to liberty … to abundance … to selfishness … to complacency … to apathy … to dependence and … back into bondage”
[Where is America in the cycle?] It is most unlikely that Western societies, and especially the U.S., will be an exception to this typical “society cycle.” … The U.S. is somewhere between the phase where it moves “from complacency to apathy” and “from apathy to dependence.”
In other words, America’s rapid fall is not really that novel after all.
How Consumers, Politicians and Wall Street All Contributed to the Fall

On the individual level, people became “fat and happy”, the abundance led to selfishness (”greed is good”), and then complacency, and then apathy.
Indeed, if you think back about tv and radio ads over the last couple of decades, you can trace the tone of voice of the characters from Gordon Gecko-like, to complacent, to apathetic and know-nothing.
On the political level, there was no courage in the White House or Congress “to practice long-term thinking, and to make bold, courageous, anticipatory decisions”. Of course, the bucket loads of donations from Wall Street didn’t hurt, but there was also a religion of deregulation promoted by Greenspan, Rubin, Gensler and others which preached that the economy was self-stabilizing and self-sustaining. This type of false ideology only can spread during times of abundance and complacency, when an empire is at its peak and people can fool themselves into thinking “the empire has always been prosperous, we’ve solved all of the problems, and we will always prosper” (incidentally, this type of false thinking was also common in the 1920’s, when government and financial leaders said that the “modern banking system” – overseen by the Federal Reserve – had destroyed instability once and for all).
And as for Wall Street, the best possible time to pillage is when your victim is at the peak of wealth. With America in a huge bubble phase of wealth and power, the Wall Street looters sucked out vast sums through fraudulent subprime loans, derivatives and securitization schemes, Ponzi schemes and high frequency trading and dark pools and all of the rest.
Like the mugger who waits until his victim has made a withdrawal from the ATM, the white collar criminals pounced when America’s economy was booming (at least on paper).
Given that the people were in a contented stupor of consumption, and the politicians were flush with cash and feel-good platitudes, the job of the criminals became easier.
A study of the crash of the Roman – or almost any other – empire would show something very similar.

I think I’ve figured out what makes Afghanistan so important to the U.S. Government. Whoever holds Afghanistan, or that region, has supremacy over the oil in the middle east! Russia couldn’t beat them, & we’re having real problems beating them too! This is because the landscape & terrane is almost impossible to defeat, if you’re not the one who dominates it. If the U.S. has total control over Afghanistan, then no one will be able to remove us or defeat us, because strategically speaking, it’s allot like Switzerland, all Mountains! They, the Afghan people, have a natural, & almost unbeatable fortress. Our Government & Generals know this, & now they want to be the keepers!!!! We’d even have Russia in check, think about it?

I agree with you, Patriot. Tactically, Afghanistan is a defender’s dream. The key is to remove the native fighters from the mountains, which you said, is going almost impossible. Much like the jungles of Vietnam, fighting can be very close-quarters. When you want to go two miles on a map, it’s going to take you 2 hours and 10,000 vertical feet to get there. With all the caves, peaks and valleys, there are many places to hide out and ambush troops. Our government wants us to own that real estate for some hardcore reasons, or else Obama would have pulled us out (like he promised). If you ask me, I think Afghanistan is going to be safer than the streets of America within a few months. Stay alert, everyone!

THIS IS THE BEST IDEA I’VE HEARD IN TWO YEARS TO FIGHT BACK THE GLOBAL ENSLAVEMENT. Aaron Russo was on to something, If we can rally the American people to stop paying these unconstitutional taxes, government won’t be funded and neither will the federal reserve. Ask yourselves this, do you continue to pay for goods or services from any other industry or sector, if they’re harming you or not doing you any good? Do you continue to pay employees if they lie cheat and steal from YOUR company? By paying taxes, you paying for them to sit in their fancy high-life positions where they are ABOVE the law and you fund the government and the Federal reserve to continue implementing programs to control YOUR life. I don’t think it would be due to lack of intelligence really. Mind numbing mass-media propaganda has done a good job ensuring that the average intelligence quotient is lower than ever, but I really think that our current predicament has more to do with a combination of pure apathy coupled with simple naivety.
I think people really want to believe that they know who the good guys and bad guys are and once they have determined that, they just want to live a happy, fat, good life without fighting a daily battle for their liberties.
Do you blame them? Should we have to fight tooth and nail every day against the grain just to have our happy and free lives? This is what makes them so criminal. It’s the idea that by even existing and forcing us to fight for our liberties, they are taking them away by consuming us with the fight.

And even then we were living under a matrix-like society and didn’t even know it. The Federal Reserve had been around for 39 years by the time I was born in 1952 and we were on our ninth President since the bankers installed Woodrow Wilson. Eisenhower hadn’t yet given his speech about the military-industrial complex, the CIA was only 6 years old and was just beginning to experiment with mind control, and the CFR had been around for 31 years.

You are wrong…on so many levels I don’t know where to begin. First of all, you’re condemning the majority of the human race. The Boomer generation was the largest in history and we’re still the majority today. So, you’re playing right into the hands of the NWO in condemning most of humanity. Secondly, most of us are not hypocrites (you might want to learn how it’s spelled before you start accusing people of it). The vast majority are simply not aware of what’s happening in the world because, like everyone, they’ve been brainwashed all their lives. This is nothing endemic to my generation. It applies to everyone now living, as well as everyone who’s lived for the last century. Furthermore, your knowledge of the Boomer generation is sadly lacking if you think we were all hippies wanting peace (you might learn how to spell that, as well) and love in the sixties. The fact is, most of my generation had nothing to do with the false “peace movement,” which was controlled from behind the scenes by the FBI and CIA. Lastly, though it’s true that my generation is the one now running the world, for the most part, it’s just as true that we are also the first generation since our parents’ generation to not be able to expect retirement, as they did. Instead, millions of us now find ourselves unemployed late in life and will have to work until we drop dead. So, your characterization of an entire generation as some sort of scourge on the earth is not only woefully inaccurate, but entirely misguided and stupid.
As for your generation, if you think you’re going to make the world a better place than my generation has, I’d like to see some proof of it. My generation developed the technology we’re all using here right now. What, aside from drive-by shootings, gangsta rap and a host of other societal ills, has your generation ever contributed to the world? he fact is, your generation is contributing as much, if not more, to the NWO and, provided you’re still here in another twenty years when my generation is mostly gone (neglecting the population reduction of 90% of the human race), it’s definitely NOT going to be a better world.

I guess unemployment combined with little production is sustainable while the paper rich continue to incur paper wealth. It might be a protracted drawn out collapse. Protect your family by slowly hording things, you will need regardless of a collapse. Groceries, Money (in the form of Silver and Gold), trad-able items such as bullets, alcohol, tools, etc. Slowly pay down your debts, as well as stash some cash. Find ways to save money, do you Really Need that HBO Cable Package? Do you really need to eat at Olive Garden twice a week? Buy from local fruit and vegetable stands, you’ll be happy you kept them in business, when their food is all you can obtain…
Think long term, and stay frosty. Don’t become complacent, and you just might come out of this.

From what I’ve heard, even older vehicles beyond the the 92 olds you mentioned, are better equiped to avoid any EMP device. Should such an event occur… Something about “not” having electronic ignitions…
However: grounding a vehicle by attaching a chain to it and allowing it to drape upon the ground surface (when parked) from what I’ve heard, will suffice on most any vehicle.
Additionally… there’s a good chance that weapons may be confiscated… Slingshots are O.K. but to learn the skills of a “sling” is something most wouldn’t expect… which could be created/made easily out of any shoelace or strap. Think of David and Goliath…

Additionally; there are some grocery items that have a longer shelf life than others. Some have an indefinite shelf life such as many legumes, honey and rice. High in protein and sweetness too.
An average person would need approx… 20 (50 Lb) bags of rice to survive seven years (the length of the tribulation). Assuming they were eating three cups a day at three meals. That’s a lot… but beware… laws have been passed that give the government the right to confiscate hoards of food in times of calamity!
Can goods are another source… but they have expirations… we always seek out the furthest dates from the date of purchase. When they come about on expiration… they become part of an immediate meal for today. But this allows us to rotate plenty of stocked cans.
Also imagine… two persons eating/sharing one can good (spread out in three meals) a day for seven years would come to 4445 cans of food. Whoa! How many Americans have that many sitting on their pantry shelf? And that’s just for two people!

Hydrogen peroxide is an excellent source for ailments.
We use U.S.P quality peroxide mixed with baking soda to brush our teeth. Less trips to the Dentist and much better results. A bit of a salty taste… but the breath is fresher too and we’ve been able to eliminate flouride from our household.
Sore throats… a quick 60 seconds gargle… ear aches too.
Keeping several bottles on hand is cheap, which has another indefinite shelf life if stored in a cool place out of sunlight… costs just a buck a bottle at the store.
Just a note: Many articles on the benefits to injesting Hydrogen Peroxide to cure cancer and hundreds of diseases. We haven’t taken this route, haven’t needed too, praise God, but the scientific studies show positive results. I believe this product is kept from the general public because it steps on the money making doctors…

Maybe it’s due to the fact that when a civilisation reaches it’s peak in power and wealth, the civillian population lose the aim for further growth and prosperity in the future. They already are satisfied with the life they lead, certainly when you look at other countries where poverty and misgoverment are the talk of the day. The American people where so confident that their country would never incounter such problems in the future, that they had the utmost confidence that their fellow Americans would never do something to change their Eden called America.

Alex the other day on the radio was talking about the speed of someone on the surface of the earth (I assume). Well he gave numbers like 22,000 mph. Then he looked up a number of like 63,000 mph for the speed the earth travels around the sun. Look, the earth is about 25,000 miles in circumfrence and so if it turns once in about 24 hours then the speed/velocity on the surface is about 1000mph. But usually the rotational velocity is given in an angular form such as 360deg/day so you can decide which diameter you want to use. The 22,000 mph speed is probably something he remembered for the speed of a geosyncronous satelite. This is what I mean by the people who follow alex are wasting their time. Waking up is only a small part. The rest is education and beating the mad scientist. We can not do that with ignorance/stupidity.

Its simple why we fell so fast….Globalization, NAFTA and similar treaties allowed major companies to ship MOST manufacturing overseas. This gave the illusion that things were getting better because stocks for these companies went through the roof because of all the labor they saved. Wall street loved this and encouraged this because they refuse to see the big picture, only daily jumps in stock prices. Unemployment means nothing to them because their companies were looking great on paper. Fast forward 20 30 years and here we are all servicing each other paying higher and higher taxes producing NOTHING except autistic kids and teaching jobs with no manufacturing base to sustain it all.

sumsrent we soldiers at least the soldiers of yesterday are nothing like leachers,firemen,or police.I am a soldier and civilians in these jobs give me a rash.I gave up two college scholarships to go into the army and follow a family tradition and serve my country.You could’nt pay me any amount to do it again.I lived outside for three winters in Germany living in a pup tent or a fox hole.They worked us 20 hrs. a day.I mean real work building bailey bridges,putting in or taking out mine fields,The gear I was issued to take with me in the field weighed about 200lbs.I only weighed 160lbs myself.You know you don’t make enough money when your heat source is a three inch candle that you are not authorized to light.Twenty below zero and your not authorized to put on your cold weather gear because it is not cold enough and you need the training.Your food supply is a dehydrated food pack that you have 5 min.to eat.No time to hydrate the food so you eat the dehydrated pork pattie dry.So constipated you could’nt take a shit if you had to.I could go on and on but you probably get the message.The world does’nt have enough wealth in it to pay me to do it again,but I would’nt sell my experience for any amount of money.The type of education that makes you laugh during a fire fight.Put a price on that.PRICELESS!!!!!!!!

How did America fall so fast? Because it fell fucking 20 years ago. It’s been dead for decades, kept alive artificially like a damn Frankenstein zombie freak as an engine of world domination. Now, after its destructive reign of terrorism and death has been fulfilled, it is no longer of any use, and is being “built down.”
When I speak of America, I am not speaking about the American people, who contribute 71% of all the private charity given globally each year. Our people are the most selfless, helpful, charitable people in the world. There is another America, however, one which has thrived off of every despicable thing you can imaging, and others you can’t. The things this government has done, particularly in South America, Africa and Asia (to include the Middle East) are… beyond words.
Earn your right to be called an American, and never shut up about the truth. It’s all we can do.

As much fun as the ride was for the 30 years of my life in America, the time has come to see it fall back into the cycle of bondage. I had good parents, good teachers, good friends and use of the internet to self-educate myself into my career, faith and events both local and galaxy-wide. Cherish your good memories of this land. You will be exterminated. You will be sitting in the chair you are now in and typing here again perhaps when suddenly you’ll be exterminated, your belongings auctioned, your organs harvested, the memory of you removed and then your body burned. This is the list I have compiled regarding the movment towards positioning the US for acceptance of relinquishing its soveriegnty to a global government.
•Proponents of the plan are perpetually placed in key leadership positions providing impetus for implementation of necessary phases.
•US energy independence is undermined through the use of self imposed environmental constraints.
•Promotion of alternative energy sources are undermined by the oil industry.
•US dependence on foreign goods is established and internal manufacturing is dramatically reduced through the adoption of NAFTA.
•Tax incentives are created to promote outsourcing of US industries.
•Demand for both public and private credit is established as a result of massive trade deficits as a result of outsourcing of manufacturing and dependence on foreign sources of energy.
•Credit card industry is expanded to exploit consumer credit demand.
•Banking regulations are repealed that were designed to provide stability by requiring separation of investment and commercial operations. Also regulations are created to promote off balance sheet transactions and commodity futures manipulations.
•Financial institutions go unchecked and participate in highly leveraged operations through the use of derivatives and credit default swaps.
•Rapid monetary expansion is allowed as a result of excessive lending through over leveraging of financial institutions.
•Consumer debt levels rise to unprecedented levels and economic activity slows resulting in increase in delinquencies and foreclosures.
•Federal Reserve discontinues publishing the M3 monetary statistic eliminating evidence regarding consequences of their open market transactions.
•The FOMC sells 265 billion of US Treasuries in 2008. These are required to be purchased with funds drawn from banking systems reserves and a credit contraction proportional to the established reserve multiplier occurs.
•Banks are provided government funds and laws changed allowing interest to be paid on excess reserves held at the Federal Reserve, creating a disincentive for lending.
•AIG is bailed out allowing banks to repay government loans eliminating increased governmental oversight. Also, US taxpayers are subsidizing European banks.
•Plausible deniability of culpability by leaders is established through the fast tracking and funding of an ineffective stimulus bill.
•Bank stress tests are performed justifying the need for increasing capital reserves, further restricting credit availability,
•Ever increasing levels of national debt are created resulting in increased central bank control and leverage.
•The need for increased military action in the Middle East is promulgated and new threats are being created.
•The need for an international financial regulatory agency with cross border authority to oversee and regulate finance is called for by all major leaders.
•The Bank for International’s Financial Stability Board is established and charter granted.
•G20 summit meetings are used to promote agreement for global governance.
•The US administration proposes granting the Federal Reserve ultimate authority to regulate a police both financial and non financial businesses.
•The threat of global warming is being used to justify the establishment of a cap and trade system which will provide central control over the distribution of economic activity.
•The Federal Governments unfunded liabilities are being addressed and population growth control is being established through the nationalizing the US health care insurance industry.
•The IMF’s role is being increased in regards to the creation and distribution of money/debt.
•The US dollar is rapidly loosing its status as the world’s reserve currency.
•Regional currencies are being promoted throughout the world and the European Union has reached its final phase of consolidation through the ratification of the Lisbon Treaty.

You have to admit it is a fairly simple plan and was implemented over a long enough period of time that most did not see where it was leading. It sure is becoming obvious now. I agree the H1N1 is still a bit of a mystery, it may be that it is being used to condition the population for this type of threat. If it suddenly becomes much more lethal it would not suprise me. The fact that they are stating that pregnant women and younger people have the highest risk and are being provided vaccines first is suspicious, as I understand it this is uncommon.

If we NEED to be in a war, we should do it right and think outside the box to put together a fleet of model airplanes armed with infrared eyes and rockets / bio-hazard gas or needles. Please,please don’t think I am on a soapbox as i type this.I have made many poor choices.I have done what all of you have,what all of us have done and are still doing…..Judges 17:6 in those days there was no king in Israel but —EVERY MAN DID WHAT WAS RIGHT IN HIS OWN EYES.We all are sinking in a pit of our own greed and lust.I’m very ashamed to say I helped lead the way

What i am getting at is if we , ALL of us ,do not stop patting ourselves on the back for “being better than most”,if we do not accept the fact that we are all more concened with fixing everything else but our own short comings.We will fall.You can’t sew seeds of greed and lust and expect to reap anything but havoc and suffering.Do you steal pens at work?lie to your spouse?cheat on your taxes?ever curse and scream at someone for making you have to slow your car down 5 miles per hour?what about your kids?ever tell them not to do drugs then go light up?whats the point?——-EVERYONE OF US is to blame 300 million people who lie,cheat,steal,abuse and manipulate every day.those of us who claim to be “good christians”do you give away your worldy goods to feed the poor?Or do you give a homeless guy five bucks every now and then and say.”if only there were people like me”……or are you one of those who just read that last statment and said to yourself “I don’t say that,I sayI wish I had more to give”?.You do have more to give you just don’t.You start thinking about YOUR bills YOUR notes, YOUR problems,YOUR kids and on and on and on.We are a selfish people.You want to change this country,fix youself,Don’t be deceived we are our own worst enemy.IF you think I’m wrong pray or remember this thought…Let me remember this next time I try to justify anything in my life…..I hope we all admit to ourselves this is true,and we get help.I suggest prayer,deep heartfelt prayer……with brotherly love,matthew

its not the jews………bush was not a jew.he loved porkchops!(kidding) Aaron have you ever heard of the ten lost tribes?they were ten of the twelve tries of israel that were asimulated by the assyrians.point being at the end of the book of genesis jacob(who’s name was changed to israel)he told his sons what would happen to them.ever wonder why the bible does not mention the USA or UK?it does the lost tribes are scatterd.the jews are only a part of israel.we are a part too.
