An Opposition MP says humans are not causing climate change, and pointed to Adolf Hitler as an example of how scientists can be wrong.

Liberal MP Dennis Jensen’s comments come days after his leader Malcolm Turnbull promised a greener climate change policy than the Government’s.
Dr Jensen cast doubt on the apparent scientific consensus that humans are affecting the climate.
“Albert Einstein was very much criticised by Hitler, and Hitler actually had a group of 100 top scientists in Germany write a book called 100 scientists against Einstein,” Dr Jensen said.
“Einstein was asked: ‘Doesn’t it bother you Dr Einstein that you’ve got so many scientists against you?’
“And he said: ‘It doesn’t take 100 scientists to prove me wrong, it takes a single fact’.”
Dr Jensen, who has a PhD in the physics of ceramics, said he was a climate change sceptic.
Mr Turnbull says humans are affecting the climate and the problem must be addressed. Dr Jensen said he differed with his leader on that.
Mr Turnbull has promised to set a deeper target to cut greenhouse gas emissions than the Government.

Did anybody else find it interesting to say the least, that the carbon detecting satellite which would have definatively proved whether climate change is occuring or not, crashed and now has even delayed the project for another couple years.
sabotage may be the cause, perhaps to prolong the facts coming out, so they can keep bullying people and force through the carbon tax

I agree with you, the planet belongs to all life on Earth, not just people. There are plenty of very real environmental disasters out there, the use of depleted uranium, the destruction of the rainforests, releasing genetically modified crops to contaminate the DNA of other species, and the list goes on…
The problem is that just because there are real problems, doesn’t mean that every problem the environmental lobby puts out there is real. Man made global warming is the left wing’s version of the right wing’s “war on terror”, it’s a contrived scenario designed to advance more governmental control over people’s lives, and just like the “war on terror”, the only way we’ll know that it’s “working” is that we’re not all dead, and anyone who questions the need for the massive apparatus to regulate carbon dioxide will be accused of wanting the world to end.
So please, by all means, go out and fight your best fight to protect the world, but don’t fall for this global warming con game. Always keep in mind that real science and real scientists are not afraid to be questioned or challenged.

You had a good idea going there but you’re missing some education there. It’s a proven scientific fact that human activity has increased and sped up the natural effects of global climate change. However, politicians have taken advantage of it to in turn take advantage of us. Global climate change is NOT a scam. I don’t get how someone can look me in the eys and say that our destructive forces of industry and agriculture have not had an effect on how the natural cycles of the earth work. Throw one cycle off and you throw the rest off.

Despite what you have been told, this is far from a scientific consensus. I’m sorry to tell you that most of the climate change doctrine is based upon computer models that don’t accurately predict the weather we have today if fed the data from a few years ago.
It should be telling to you that they have had to shift the terminology from “global warming” to “climate change” because it reveals that their predictions have been drastically wrong, and yet they continue to push their agenda anyway. The Earth’s climate goes in cycles, if you look at mainstream news articles from the 70s and you’ll see that they were predicting a new ice age, a few years ago it was warming, but the temperatures have peaked and now the trends are cooling again.
So it’s not that I don’t believe that the climate changes, but to put things in perspective we only have about a century of temperature statistics, which is only an insignificant portion of the time that the Earth has actually been around. With this kind of data, how can we really define what the “normal” climate is supposed to be? This being said I find the conclusions that have been drawn highly dubious. Add to this the observable changes in the climates of both Jupiter and Mars over the past decade, and I think there is legitimate reason to question this jihad against carbon dioxide.
I’m all in favor of cleaner cars, and more efficient technology, as I said before there are real environmental problems, but where we need to be sceptical is when these ideas boil down to new taxation and regulation. It seems like that’s all the government does these days, is offer and endless supply of catastrophies just over the horizon that require broad new taxation, and massive government intervention to avert, and the only proof that we are ever offered that it was all worthwhile is that we’re not all dead. If it’s not the “war on drugs” it’s the “war on terror”, or the “war on poverty”, or the urgent need to combat “climate change”, so to turn your phrase around, I don’t see how someone can look me in the eyes and tell me that we need to write the government a blank check for something as clearly fishy as declaring carbon dioxide a pollutant and mandating new caps on it that will have significant impact on people’s lives. This from the same people who still use depleted uranium shells, have made known attempts to modify the weather on their own. How far can these doomsayers really be trusted?

So, what you’re saying, is that we should pay for the mistakes of everyone else? Does that mean China, India and other such countries can still pollute and we will have to pay for their sins?
I know a good many people that do recycle, but (just for argument’s sake) suppose the ‘recyclers’ just dump the recyclables anywhere they can. Not saying it happens, but something for you to think.
We comment on the board for many reasons. Sometimes we need to rant (as you did) to blow off steam. If what is said on this board doesn’t add up to a hill of beans, then your message goes into that pile as well. Sometimes, the most asinine things are said on here (some that I believe are e-waste). I can’t tell you how many times I’ll see topics go completely off center. For instance, what do aliens, religion, etc have to do with finance topics?
I digress.
Stand Up! Do your thing. Tell people (go by example) about the goings on. I know that a good majority of my fellow bloggers do, as do I. Granted, most people buy us aluminum foil, but you can’t say that we do nothing. Do you know the person that typed this? Do you know the person that typed the response before you? Who here actually thinks humans have no impact on the planet? All you need to do is take a look at the pacific ocean, countless boaters have reported huuge stretches, I am talking HUGE, estimated size of the USA..huggee stretches of trash just spewed across the ocean as far as the eye can see..destroying maritime life, destroying the oceanic ecosystems..fish fished there are not even fit to eat anymore. Birds of all kinds have been found, dead and alive, with all kinds of trash lodged in their throats and stomachs, bottle caps, pins, part of shoes, plastics of all kinds..it is an epidemic!
What about the massive whaling and shark hunting thats going on, further destroying the maritime food chain, further putting the planet teetering on the brink of climatic destruction! Not to mention the “scraping” of the ocean floors, my god! They have huge stretches of “scrapers” that are scraping the oceans clean of fish and all kinds of things! What about all the sonar waves and electromagnetic waves they are launching in the ocean all the time, that is not healthy
And thats just the oceans!
What about the massive clearance of the natural world? You can barely find any real wildlife anymore save in national parks. What about the massive deforestation! In the Amazon alone, a chunk of forest the size of Kansas is chopped down every single year, how will we breathe without our trees? Not to mention the massive hunt of species of all kinds, to the point of near extinction…some of our greatest creatures, the elephant, the tiger, the lion, the rhino…who once were so abundant, and fluorished all over Africa and Asia, AND Europe..now, you can find barely any of them except in designated wildlife refuges, where poachers are still hunting them…for what, for Ivory, for tiger skin, fur coats! What about the sharks and whales! Being hunted to extinction, and for what? For a small veil of whale oil? For shark fin soup!! It is ridiculous! We are destroying the planet!

The Earth, is in crisis. Economic crisis, ecological crisis, spiritual crisis. We all, on some level, know this. The NWO know this too, and therefore, put out this global warming crap, and otherwise good people will say..hey, yea, we are destroying the planet! Which we are…just do not believe their crap thats all.
That does not mean you can be lazy, and just shrug off all that needs to be done. I mean does anybody here actually think that the destruction of nature, of wildlife, of the oceans and atmosphere..has no impact on the planet and of the future survival of humanity? Its called the WEB OF LIFE, all life is interconnected into one whole, and we, in all our brilliance, are bringing down the entire web!

I liked your post John. I most likely got a false impression of you at first, and I apologize for calling you a fool in previous post.
I think you’re overgeneralizing when you say “we” think she’s just a chunk of rock. I don’t think that at all. I like to garden, and I appreciate what the earth and soil produces.
I think that if you’re in tune with nature, then you will respect nature automatically. Politicians won’t get anyone in tune with nature, although they WILL neverendingly search for new ways to tax people. CO2 tax is a new creation invented by our elites. This creation by our elites is not the people’s fault, it’s corrupt government’s fault, and the fault of world-government proponents who want more power and control.
Government won’t so-called save the planet, but they will tax the hell out of people. People should know this and not be duped by purveyors of propaganda regarding CO2, climate change, global warming, global cooling, etc.

If that’s the case John, then why don’t we just right out BAN these practices? BAN plastic bottles, BAN plastic bags, BAN the cutting down of trees, BAN dragnet trolling, etc, etc, etc, instead of TAXING these things so that only the ‘little guy’ suffers. Those with the money (i.e. corporations) are free to continue polluting as long as they can pay the tax – which of course, they pass onto the consumer. So the issue of climate takes a back seat to corporate interests. It’s just a means to introducing further taxes AND THAT’S ALL!! I will galdly agree with you and pay my ‘climate taxes’ when I see governments around the world (or at least those that portray themselves as protectors of the environment) BAN all things that damage the earth – AND BAN THEM FOR ALL!!! When I continue to see double standards as it applies to corporations, well, I’m sorry, I cannot believe the dire warnings that government officials spew.
You want to talk about responsibility? Yes, just as your physical body has an awareness, so does the physical body of the Earth have an awareness. Just as the billions of organic cells, each with their own awareness, create your physical body..so does the trillions of organic cells, we call species, plants, minerals, elements..make up the body of the planet. The Earth is a nurturer, a provider, a caretaker..and yes, she embodies the feminine energy. And yes, she HAS HER OWN CONSCIOUSNESS, A SPIRIT.. which is much more advanced than ours. She thinks, she feels, she has a heart beat..scientists call it the “Schuman Cavity Resonance”. The Earth is ALIVE. The natives know this, any society close with nature knows this.
If you believe for one second, that humanity has the last say…you are mistaken. It is because Mother Earth loves us so much, that she was willing to put up with all our crap for so long. But now we have come to a point where we threaten her very existence, her very web of life. I guarentee you, God will not let that happen, we will be cleansed off this place first….thats just how it is.

With all due respect…that’s qualified mumbojumbo. There’s only one category on earth that is alive: the biological creatures that were give the breath of life by God. Show me the nervous system, the heart, the testable consciousness of a rock. You’re far out there, man. The earth IS dead, always was. It is our source for sustenance and our dwelling place, that’s it. We, human beings, are the most precious thing in the universe (=spoken sentence). We are potentially more precious than angels, since the saints will judge angels and men alike. We were given the earth and sure enough we are its caretakers, but we are not responsible to dead matter nor to other so-called species (diversified kinds). But, we are doing ourselves a disservice if we destroy our sustenance. Man will not destroy earth, God will, and then he will create a new perfect earth for those who were his children, the other will perish with the earth.

This is interesting because aren’t some of Einstein’s theories being criticized? I know one thing is sure: he is criticized of some plagiarism.
I really don’t understand why the media keeps beating the Nazi dead horse. Every other day there’s a new article involving Adolf. It’s been nearly 70 f’n years since he died, let it go.

Yes, just as your physical body has an awareness, so does the physical body of the Earth have an awareness. Just as the billions of organic cells, each with their own awareness, create your physical body..so does the trillions of organic cells, we call species, plants, minerals, elements..make up the body of the planet. The Earth is a nurturer, a provider, a caretaker..and yes, she embodies the feminine energy. And yes, she HAS HER OWN CONSCIOUSNESS, A SPIRIT.. which is much more advanced than ours. She thinks, she feels, she has a heart beat..scientists call it the “Schuman Cavity Resonance”. The Earth is ALIVE. The natives know this, any society close with nature knows this.
Do not think humanity is above the planet, and has the last say…we dont. It is because Mother Earth loves us so much, that she was willing to put up with all our crap for so long. But now we have come to a point where we threaten her very existence, her very web of life. I guarentee you, God will not let that happen, we will be cleansed off this place first….thats just how it is.
I dont believe that will be needed. I believe we will wake up, grow up, and take responsibility and become true spiritual, galactic, human beings! Not cogs in the wheel of the NWO, duped out on drugs and primetime televsion, too dumb and stupid to even take notice of things. We will wake up, we are being given all the chances in the world to wake up..and we are, theres no doubt about it. Keep spreading the truth, not just of the NWO, but of what life really is!

Let’s see. Albert Einstein failed seventh grade math. At age 15 with poor grades in history, geography, and languages he left school. In 1895 Einstein failed a entrance exam to an engineering school in Zurich. He entered a lesser school but after graduating in 1900 he still couldn’t get a position at the engineering school, so he got a job at the Bern patent office.
After Albert Einstein died his brain was taken out and studied. Scientist who studied his brain said it appears to be an average brain, no different from any others.
Albert Einstein had several children, one who he gave away for adoption. Probably not the best one.
