IAEA: Iran not producing weapon-grade uranium

DUBAI: Iran has not converted the low-grade uranium that it has produced into weapon-grade uranium, inspectors belonging to the International Atomic Energy Agency have said.

The Austrian Press Agency quoted an IAEA expert as saying that the uranium substances that Iran has produced at its Natanz enrichment facility have been carefully recorded and remote cameras have been installed to supervise part of the stockpile.
“If the Iranians intend to transport these uranium substances to a secret location for further processing, agency’s inspectors will find out,” he said.
The expert added that “so far, Iran has carried out good cooperation with us in relevant verifications”.
IAEA head Mohamed ElBaradei has said that Iran has slowed down its uranium enrichment programme. He made this observation while submitting a report to the U.N. Security Council on Thursday. Iran has reportedly added only 164 centrifuges (which are used for enrichment) since December last, a comparatively slower rate than in the past.
The IAEA report said that Iran had so far produced around 1,000 kg. of low-enriched uranium.
Iran has denied accusations by the United States and its allies that it has been engaged in a clandestine nuclear weapons programme.

My point has always been to let them make whatever bombs they wish to. Maybe if the CIA wouldn’t try to overthrow these governments there would be no blowback or threat of relatiation attacks. Its amazing how many fewer problems there would be in the world w/out the USA government trying to rule the world.
However, I do think Iran could get the uranium from outside sources if they thought they needed to. Nobody talks about that side of it. Its just a shame the military gives us a bad name around the world when 90% of the population disagrees with these wars and threats toward other countries. So when the terrorists and extremeists wish to do us harm the innocent people are the ones who are hurt. And the US govt could care less when they are killed so it does them no good to attack us.

Because the Iranian uranium that they enrich is indigenous to Iran. The other nuclear plants don’t enrich as they are light water reactors operated and supplied by Russia with a re-processing deal.
The problem with Iranian uranium is that it has a form of heavy metal contamination that means it can’t be enriched to a weapons grade quality.
This has been confirmed by the IAEA and is completely ignored by government and the media. The whole deal about Iran making a bomb is as phony as a three Dollar bill. If you believe this crock of s--- and you have already being tricked and lied into war with Iraq, then it’s “Shame on you when they fool you twice”.

It’s very simple to figure out objectively. You see, Isreal has everyone fooled because of the religion involved. Everyone thinks that theres a god involved that gave Jews thier land and religion. Swedish Smorgasbord you hit the nail on the head in saying christians want the revelations to come true. Every site I go to including this one people talk about how everything going on today points to the end times spoken about in the bible. The problem I see with that thinking is this…when I was growing up I was told if you pray for a potato you’d better bring a hoe. Nothing is given to us. Everything worth while we must work for because good things do not come easy.
Im not saying that those that wrote the bible didnt know what they were talking about, you can see by reading the Old Testament that the wise sages and prophets knew the trouble a king would bring. Taking the youth for wars, demanding money through taxes so they could live in wealth while the people suffered. The sages knew the dangers of a monarchy and how a large system could also be a beast to the people it’s supposed to serve.
But the difference is the revelations were written 2000 years ago roughly and it applied to those times. Rome destroyed Isreal. Yet, every generation for the past 2000 years keeps looking for the end of the world. Why? Get off your lazy butts and start becoming a solution to the problems that exist today. Stop teaching your kids the poisoned mindset that keeps the world from moving forward. Whats more important than race and religion? Teaching kids how to get along and tolerance.

Iran recogniced long time ago that oil is a finite resource. Their nuclear program was initially started with the support of US back in the late 70s.
If electricity can be genereated from alternative sources Iran can benefit economically much more from exporting their oil/gas. Especially now that most large fields in the world have fone into terminal decline and global production rates most likely has passed the peak.
The shutdowns of projects as a result of the financial crisis pretty much puts the nail in the coffin. 90M bbl/day looks like a very unlikely target now.

I have an urgent message for infowars, more important than any message you can

will go because of their sins. But God has provided a way for each to escape

John 3:16. Jesus suffered a horrible death and rose again 3 days later to take
the penalty of YOUR sins! He loved you so much that He provided a way for man
to escape the lake of fire! All you must do to be saved is BELIEVE in Him(trust
in Him to save you). That is it! No works or anything you do can save you! May
God open your eyes, that one day I may see you in heaven. Read the Word of
God(I recommend the King James version) before rejecting it! Death is fleeting.
You may NOT have tomorrow! For death comes when we least expect it! Make sure
you are saved TODAY! The Bible condemns the rich, the wealthy, those who take
advantage of the poor, so it CANNOT have been made up by the elite. Because the
Word clearly CONDEMNS people such as those! Read the Word for yourself and see
that the claims are true!!!
I am a Christian, and STILL struggle with sin. Many so called Christians are
arrogant and hypocritical and think they have it all together. It is my desire
to do RIGHT as a Christian but will falter just like anyone else.
