In an interview with Bloomberg’s Jim Efstathiou Jr., Barack Obama’s energy adviser, Jason Grumet, said if elected Obama will classify carbon dioxide as a dangerous pollutant. Obama will tell the Environmental Protection Agency that it may use the 1990 Clean Air Act to set emissions limits, according to Grumet, and he will likely do this immediately upon taking office, David Bookbinder, chief climate counsel for the Sierra Club told Bloomberg.

“The U.S. has to move quickly domestically so we can get back in the game internationally,” Grumet said. In other words, an Obama administration would impose draconian carbon emission regulations on the American people and “help clear the deadlock in talks on an international agreement to slow global warming,” according to Rajendra Pachauri, head of a United Nation panel of climate-change scientists. Negotiators from almost 200 countries will meet in December in Poznan, Poland, to discuss ways to limit CO2, that is to say they will work on a global carbon taxation structure.

A global carbon tax is not so much about limiting CO2 as it is a scheme designed to pay for world government and corporate globalization. “The Climate Change Control Bill strongly supported by Obama calls for an international governing regime to monitor and regulate carbon dioxide and ‘carbon footprints’ from discovery, to production, to consumption at a cost of $50 trillion globally and at a cost of $8 trillion for US taxpayers, all to be paid for by a global tax, whose monies will be used to establish a world government body,” writes Patrick Briley.
Obama has worked closely on this global taxation and world government scam under the cover of environmentalism with Zbigniew Brzezinski, Al Gore, and former communist leader Mikhail Gorbachev, an advocate of the so-called Earth Charter and the author of Manifesto for Earth. Brzezinski co-founded the Trilateral Commission with David Rockefeller in 1973. Rockefeller and fellow globalist Maurice Strong of Canada were instrumental in the creation of the Earth Charter. As noted above, the Sierra Club will play a decisive role in Obama’s administration. The organization takes money from the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and is closely aligned with the United Nations Environmental Program. Strong was UNEP’s first executive director.

Alton Jones Foundation, Turner Foundation, The Pew Charitable Trusts, the David and Lucille Packard Foundation, the Alfred W. Mellon Foundation, and others, including Bill and Melinda Gates, the Heinz family and the Carnegie Corporation. Oh this is such total BS. Just look at the Carnegie Foundation alone. It is headed up by Vartan Gregorian who is the former President of Brown University. Gregorian is good friends with Agha Khan who jets all over the globe for his Foundation emitting vast amounts of pollution from his private jet. Al Gore is just as bad. He preaches the crap about global warming and then hops in private jets filling the upper stratosphere full of carbon dioxide. Obama is flying all over the US in a modified Airbus 330 spewing carbon dioxide all over the place.
The manifest hypocrisy in all of this is totally laughable. If there was any concern about the harmful effects of C02, none of these people have shown it. Obama should tax himself every time he passes wind. There is no proven or even marginally proven study that shows that Global Warming has any relationship to Carbon Dioxide. The Carbon footprint… oh please. China is a huge polluter building one or more coal fired power plants each week with no scrubbers. Bejing is a polluted toxic place that is so bad it actually sends pollution to the West Coast of the US depending on the winds.
Word to Obama…. humans are carbon based units. Carbon tax is just a gimmick to get people to use alternative fuels which is not a bad idea, especially solar and geothermal. Having a policy to implement the development of these alternatives can be done without a NWO carbon tax. Obama go listen to Destiny’s Child singing Bills Bills Bills. Any person who would consciously vote for either McCain or Obama should be declared an illegal alien and deported along with every member of all three branches of the federal government. All their personal property should be confiscated and given to the states accordingly to repair the infrastructure and pay for the dismantling and disposal costs of slave control grid and the rest of the prison system. That would be a good start to righting this sinking ship.

This is utter crap. I worked for a HVACR company and if we can’t get to a water supply to clean out condensers or evaporators we would use CO2. It takes the dust right off. Will they ban pellet guns next? How bout putting nitrogen on that list next? Nitrogen is used for leak checking and removing moisture from refrigeration systems. All these rules did to this industry is make it more costly for the consumer. When you recover refrigerants in the field, nobody wants the recovery tank and you have to pay a good chunk of money to have it recycled. Oh yeah, the new refrigerants to replace r22, they say its safe for the environment, it’s more costly, the new units have more parts that break and not as extensively tested in the field. So keep your old ACs that use r22.

If you believe CO2 is dangerous, you are an idiot. If you belive that Earth has too many people, and we need population control, you are an idiot. If you If you believe that humans are causing “climate change” you are an idiot. Get of the high-horse, and acknowledge you are not God. CO2 is an invaluable gas, and to have higher levels of CO2 in the atmosphere is beneficial toward plant life, including crop production. As for population, we don’t need to make artificial islands, just take a drive across West Texas. Nothing for thousands of square miles. Eastern Montana, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, nothing but wide-open space. Earth can handle 100 Billion or more easily. Climate change? One volcano eruption delivers more “climate changing” gasses than all of humanity combined throughout time. The oceans release more nitrogen and CO2 and methane than all the cattle and livestock that have ever been. Termites release more CO2 than all human combined. Why do so many people believe in all this non-sense sustainability bull. The only reason we don’t have unlimited resources is the greedy controllers who have seized the commodities and walled them off from us.

Just got a call from a private source, but 99% credible.
Eight days ago (news was held up while source was in the field), the National Guard Armory in Pocatello, Idaho was seized by the U.S. regular Army and stripped of all weaponry. Everything from long range cannon to small arms.
These guys are the 148th Field Artillery Battalion They stripped it of all weaponry and ammo.
The CO asked “Why?” and was told “There’s gonna be a party this winter and you’re not invited!”
He was led to believe that this was a national happening, not just that armory.
I’ve called 5 other NG bases, but (for some odd reason) have received NO answer.
Any of you that have the ability (or strings) get on the phone and see if there’s verification from any of your sources.
(It took a couple of days but here is your answer. This is from an absolutely rock solid source, I would bet the farm on this mans word. Would someone please get Alex to cover this story?)
“I talked to a friend who is the company commander for a NG transportation unit here in Spokane; they have heard the same news but didn’t have any specific details. They don’t have much weapons outside of their M-16’s and 9MM but they do know that NG units around the nation are being stripped of their heavy crew served weapons. The Montana NG has been stripped of it’s M1 Abrams and made into a HazMat & water purification unit.”
“The Commo unit in Moses Lake NG has been stripped of all its commo gear and is being reassigned as truck drivers for the Spokane detachment.”
“Doesn’t sound too good. All NG returnees here report direct to Ft. Lewis now and are net being released . most are being sent back to Iraq.”
” A lot of NG folks are quitting in disgust. Those who stay are getting promotions over those who don’t re-up now.”

0.03% of the atmosphere is co2, i.e. 300 parts per million
5-7% of that is produced by humans , + – 17 parts per million…
(most co2 comes from the ocean and when any leave or plant or animal die, the rotting tissue releases co2)

So Obama’s going to declare carbon dioxide a dangerous pollutant. This is crazy! Why not do something like saying carbon monoxide is dangerous to humans. That would make more sense. You have to be pretty stupid not realize why carbon dioxide is essential for us humans right now. Considering we’re pretty dependent on the whole photosynthesis cycle. I could easily live with the temperature increasing 5 degree’s Celsius on average here in Canada. It might take a while to get use to the mosquito’s. But that’s a whole other issue tied in with longer warm seasons.
I don’t know why scientist’s don’t mention this ever. But if you actually look at the absorption bands in carbon dioxide you’d quickly realize that the carbon dioxide in the air actually lowers the over all energy absorption. While something like water actually acts like a greenhouse gas. Have you ever noticed that on years there is major volcanic activity it is cooler out? That’s due to more solar radiation being reflected away. A person can get into the whole argument over well it’s not like the carbon dioxide humans put out. Well a small portion is different. But that has to do with the effects of Rayleigh and Brillouin scattering of larger conglomerate carbon dioxide dust and does not really matter that much.
If you want to compare human carbon dioxide output to something. You should look up how many years it would take the entire planet to emit as much carbon dioxide as Mount Saint Helen’s when it went off. If you want to look up carbon dioxide spectra. Look up CO2 laser emittance spectra for a rough reference.

CO2 and humans are only about 9% of the change thats actually going on.
The sun (helios, sol, whatever you want to call it) is the major factor in all of this, it is going through a relative cold cycle at the miniute.
No one is deniying that we humans are not destroying our enviroment, but people are not looking into the right things, like sustainability……..etc. instead its all put down to ‘global warming’ – what a load of bollocks, here in england its getting colder eatch year i swear!
i remember when i was younger we had long really quite nice summers, now its barely ever sunny in summer and the winters are freezing.
Apart from that similar conditions that are reported here on earth are also effecting mars. (i.e polar caps melting)
And by the way i thought i would just mention that even if the ice caps were to completly melt, they would not change the sea level, it is other factors that do that.
Dont get me wrong i need to personally learn a lot more about our enviroment and the like, but im just saying from what i have researched it looks like the new world order is just capitalising on a very small part of the ‘bigger picture’

In response to post 20, 98% of scientists DON’T blame CO2 for global warming. Within the past few years the knowledge that the entire universe is heating has come up and proven that the heating of the earth is out of our control. The entire universe is heating in accordance with a formula that has been discovered. I do not know the formula, I have just read articles about it. If they can’t air this information it doesn’t get out to the masses.
In response to post 19, you cannot compare the “pollution” of us to other countries that also use coal. Our pollution is mainly from coal, and we have the MOST efficient way to burn it. The amount of power we get from nuclear, solar, wind, and geothermal sources are no where near what we would need to eliminate coal as an energy source. Also, switching to oil would not decrease the pollution by a significant amount compared to the cost. Also, CO2 is one of the natural elements on this planet. It is what comes out when you breathe. It is what plants need to function. Yes, we have more than we need in our atmosphere, but as we use more alternative fuel sources, the CO2 will be NATURALLY cleaned up.

If your talking so-called ‘greenhouse gasses’ then water vapor is several times higher on the chart than CO2. Water vapor as in persistent jet contrails.

I know when I have to have the god damned emissions tests on my cars every year, they check for Carbon Monoxide emissions, not CO2.
Of course, the newspeak that got most people believing that our country is a democracy rather than a Constitutional Republic probably had no trouble selling the CO2 bs to the sheep.

Some folks have talked about clean sources of fuel, but the fact remains that even though the technology does exist, it is out of the hands of the common man.
If someone does come up with something, the mistake that they make is to usually get it patented. That’s sending a red flag and that leads to suppression.

We should hold the Oil companies and the USA government responsible for high CO2 emissions. For over 30 years, the oil companies have been holding patents and not allowing the use of high mileage systems. I personally new a man in Tucson, AZ, in 1975 that created a system that gave big block V-8 engines in a pick up, 60+ mpg, 4 times the standard mpg at that time. When he tried to market it, he was stopped by an oil company because they already held a patent on it. Just think how much less fuel we would have used and how much less pollutants we would have produced.
It’s time to end the oil company’s control of our government and our lives. We have been abused by them long enough.

Plants both absorb and give off CO2.
The oceans give off CO2 through evaporation from the sun.
All the animals on earth give off CO2 through the act of breathing.
And, of course, so do we humans give off CO2 when we breath.
If CO2 was so dangerous life would have died off hundreds of millions of years ago.
Instead life has flourished because CO2 is part of earth’s natural ecosystem.
These people, on the other hand, are not part of earth’s natural ecosystem and should be removed from the planet like the dangerous cancer that they are.
