The Benny Morris op-ed in the NYT last Friday should provide convincing evidence that Israel really really really wants an attack against Iran sooner rather than later. Morris is close to the Israeli government and his case that Iran must be bombed soon and with maximum conventional weaponry to avoid using nukes later was clearly intended to push the United States to do the attacking. The likelihood that Dick Cheney is almost certainly supportive of a US pre-emptive strike and might well be pulling strings behind the scenes, possibly without the knowledge of the Great Decider, makes the next several months particularly significant if a war is to be avoided.

Some intel types are beginning to express concerns that the Israelis might do something completely crazy to get the US involved. There are a number of possible “false flag” scenarios in which the Israelis could insert a commando team in the Persian Gulf or use some of their people inside Iraq to stage an incident that they will make to look Iranian, either by employing Iranian weapons or by leaving a communications footprint that points to Tehran’s involvement.
Those who argue that Israel would never do such a thing should think again. Israel is willing to behave with complete ruthlessness towards the US if they feel that the stakes are high enough, witness the attack on the USS Liberty and the bombing of the US Consulate in Alexandria in the 1950s. If they now believe that Iran is a threat that must be eliminated it is not implausible to assume that they will stop at nothing to get the the United States to do it for them, particularly as their air force is only able to damage the Iranian nuclear program, not destroy it.

Lol at elephant memory, more like Sept. 08 not ‘09………but as my little name suggests i wanted to point out some “warning signs” of what/where the next false flag will be. I am a resident of Denver, CO and interesting things have been going on for a while. Lets look at the month of June, shall we? Before the military began their [ongoing] drills in our city, 8 hospitals drilled for their rediness and preparation for a “mock”chemical attack on the city. Right as this was ending, the military begins their drill (which continue to this day- tho they supposedly stopped the helecopters during the day I have seen multiple low flying arcraft at night flying from the west to Downtown, hover around the skyline like they are doing surveillance or something thennfly back the same way- living just outside the city I see this almost every night….). So here we have two signs: Hospitals drilling for a chemical attack on the city and the Military running drills here “not related to the DNC” as they said….odd. Has any other city had such activity? Then on top of that, Denver’s OEM was overheard by a We Are Change member to be talking about where the “Decon” Zones will be and drills of evacuating the whole city in the event of an attack- this was after the Military Drills happened to. Whether this is true or not, it certainly raised my eyebrows…..but the cream of the crop was the 500,000 (half a million) plastic airtight burial coffins ordered as recently as this year just sitting in Georgia at the moment…..odd again….a wise man might read the signs for what they are, and be called insane for thinking such things…….but before 9/11 they ran similar drills in the tower for evacuations, and such starting about two months before it happened, just as all the drills here in denver started about two months before the DNC. One last note: Some people may think it impossible since some of the bilderberg dogs will be there….well, I personally dont think it matters, especially since it looks as if Bush will cancel the elections anyway because of an attack. DNC is only 2 short months before elections…..perfect time to declare national emergency and keep the office a while longer…..

I DEMAND THAT THIS ARTICLE BE SEEN AS A FALSE FLAG OPERATION and that Alex Jones be part of that. Why? Because since 9/11 I have said the same thing about that “attack”, with pages of reasons as to why at one time. In short, I said that since Israel was kept on being shut down by Big Brother U.S. of A. for years while Shiron and Araphat kept on their private warmonging by telling them to sit still, do nothing, (during the Gulf War it was…..) just wear your gas masks and let us take care of the situation, give up your land that you won during a war, give up part of your holy city, ect., the only way that Israel could maybe get its Big Brother to finally come to the rescue and change its mind was to have something devastating happen to it. I have sent that off to Alex many times and he will not acknowledge it in any way. Therefore I say that this article is a false flag put out by him. I have said that to many people over the years about what this article is saying and now it is saying it? I SAY BOYCOTT IT. It has to be a “fake” of some type.
Do not forget, though, that during that day, 9/11, while the second tower started to come down, and for about a week afterwards, it was amazing what was found out of nowhere as “evidence” as to who did it. Do you really think everyone, including our illustrious government would be that stupid or is it more likely that if you wanted to set someone up, maybe the information was purposely planted to make it look that way, especially when shown to a country of paranoid people as they are already?

Millions of dead, Iraq, Iran, Saudi, Jordan, Oman. Syria, Lebanon. Imagine millions and millions of dead killed by chemical, biological & nuclear weapons launched from who knows where? Massive deaths and stinking rotting corps’s all over the middle east so sweltering hot and radiated with nuclear fall out that no one can get near it. Total chaos, ships cant move, oil cant be transported, way more of a catastrophe than the Bushes, Cheneys or the jews ever imagined in their wildest dreams. The whole world shuts down for 75 days. All electricity shuts off, no communications even generators and batteries cease to function. poison air poison water all good dies than the nukes simultaneously explode on every continent holding them. I know it is a grim scene you would think that it is a happening no one wanted. Yet the very persons planning this horrible consequence are the people that should be preventing this from ever happening. Man has never had a weapon he has not used. I wish that I could understand what motivates humans to behave like this. I hope our military act in revolt to stop this from ever taking place.

I live in Scandinavia and after reading and hearing about the planned attack on Iran I am in survival mode. The economic situation coupled with warfare will destroy civilization as we know it. We will be bounced back to somewhere around the 14th. century way of living. Most will not survive this transition of life style. It will be a culling of the masses in short order. The best we can do now is surround ourselves with about ten good people that we get along with and plan to survive together. The ten should be ideally made up of pragmatic people and they must possess the skills of basic survival. When this blows up in the face of civilization it will be like a piece of glass shattering into shards. Every shard will be a survival unit in its own right. As I said most will not survive because ‘brotherly love’ will not be on the agenda. The survivalist tribal attitude will take the place of that!
We all stand at the abyss of just about total wipe out IF we let these bastards planning this to go through with it! So, if you like your life and present life style my fellow Human beings we must act NOW for tomorrow will be too late for us all!!!

I concur somewhat with your comment #36, but not as you interpret it as I said in an earlier comment here. I believe the reason, at least during 9/11 itself, was because the BIG FRIEND (U.S. of A.) was interfering too much in the little guy’s (Israel) decision to fight back. Therefore the little guy had no choice but to do something drastic to get the big guy involved. I am not sure about now, but it almost seems like it could be the same way at times. Israel has been mighty quiet in recent months. Whether that is beause of a media blackout or not, I have no idea, but you could also be fully correct since it would otherwise appear that if my 9/11 thought is correct, it would end once we leave the area, at least to some degree leaving enough time during the absence to maybe do some serious damage to that little guy. Then again, maybe there is more peace going on there in recent times than we are being let known, thereby making them seem like the present bad guy as per this article, when they are not to keep our own seeing of our evil deeds overlooked by putting that blame on someone else.

Regardless whether Israel uses ulterior false flag ops or not, what neither the Bush puppet and the recipients of his terror funds the Israelis have done is show that Iran is developing WMD.
ANY attack on Iran, without hard evidence, and unless in self-defence must be considered an act of illegal aggression. If they bomb the civilian nuclear infrastructure it would clearly be a terrorist attack. (After all if US nuclear powerplants were bombed we’d describe it as terrorism?).
The only way to deal with the issue of WMD in the Middle East is start with the one country actually possessing masses of illegal WMD – Israel. Then the other countries would have no reason to acquire them to defend themselves against the regions main aggressor.

Christianity as a religion is an evil institution. Red Dawn Now, I admire your devotion to Jesus Christ, but you need to calm yourself a bit, and admit that there is a lot of evil being done under the banner of “Christianity” that is not what the Bible teaches at all.
For almost four years, I have believed that we are living in the final stages of a great spiritual battle. This “awakening” movement is the evidence of an increase in light, truth, wisdom and understanding in all parts of the world. At the same time the New World Order is growing, expanding, strengthening and lots and lots of people are following it, but not really agreeing with it. I believe that George Bush is the “little horn (or jr. king) with a boastful mouth”, from Daniel 7.
Turmoil defines this time, no doubt about that. But the devil is working to destroy Christianity from the inside out. It won’t work. Athiests, Agnostics, Bhuddhists, Muslims, Jews, Hindus and Christians are all in for a great big surprise. God knows what’s in the heart of every person. And we will all be judged according to our actions, not our doctrine. It’s actually a very fair setup. There is no fooling God.
Lies are evil, truth is good. Some people’s dislike of Christianity is sad, but understandable.
I ask the doubters to read a little bit of the scripture yourselves. But make sure to read it in context, and not just to make an atheistic point. If you refuse to see God, you will remain blind. I understand wanting to warn people and spread the Gospel because time is short. I am a Christian as well and your reasoning is understood, however your method is problematic. Your approach just breeds animosity, not relationship and that is what the Bible and Jesus emphasises.
The Bible’s entire purpose can be summed up in one sentence: Restoration of man’s relationship with God and then man’s relationship to other men. Beating an unwilling participant over the head with Bible verses does not serve to promote relationship and therefore it will always fail.
As far as this story is concerned, I think it is pretty bogus. Israel was acting on orders from our President in the incident of the USS Liberty. That was pre-planned as an excuse for us to invade Egypt because they were going to blame the attack on Egypt until a Russian vessel witnessed the attack which caused them to abort the mission and try and salvage (read cover-up) the whole thing. So blaming Israel and the Mossad when they are controlled by the CFR and the RIIA in Brittain is pretty – well its just plain ignorant at best, and brainwashing otherwise.

Iran will not retreat in nuclear standoff: Khamenei

TEHRAN (AFP) — Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday that the country will not retreat in the face of demands by world powers for Tehran to halt sensitive nuclear work.
“Taking one step back against arrogant (powers) will lead to them to take one step forward,” Khamenei was quoted as saying by state television in a sermon.
His comments come ahead of a Saturday deadline for Iran to respond to a package of incentives aimed at persuading it to freeze uranium enrichment, a process that makes nuclear fuel but also the core of an atomic bomb.
“The idea that any retreat or backing down from righteous positions would change the policies of arrogant world powers is completely wrong and baseless,” said Khamenei, who has the final say on all key policy issues.
Iran has been slapped with three sets of UN Security Council sanctions over its refusal to halt enrichment. It insists it has the right to nuclear technology as a signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and denies Western claims it is seeking to build atomic weapons.
“Today it is time for the Iranian nation to move ahead with awareness and add to its knowledge and capabilities,” Khamenei said.
“The horizon is bright for us and we know what we are doing and where we are going… the way to reach that point is not to stand but to go.”
Iran on July 19 held talks with representatives of major powers including EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana and for the first time an official from Tehran’s arch-foe the United States, William Burns.
Iran was given until Saturday to give its final answer.
But Iran has rejected any deadline, saying it was agreed in Geneva that it would during a two-week period examine the proposal put forward by permanent UN Security Council members Britain, China, France, Russia and the United States plus Germany.
