If Violence Escalates in Mexico, Texas Officials Plan to Be Ready

As drug cartels continue to terrorize Mexico, Texas officials are planning for the worst-case scenario: how to respond if the violence spills over the border, and what to do if thousands of Mexicans seek refuge in the United States.

Katherine Cesinger, a spokeswoman for Texas Gov. Rick Perry, said a multi-agency contingency plan is being developed, and it will focus primarily on law enforcement issues, including how to handle an influx of Mexicans fleeing violence.
“At this point, what we’re focusing on is spillover violence,” Cesinger told FOXNews.com Thursday. “The immediate concern, if any, would be that.”
More than 5,300 people were killed in Mexico last year in connection to criminal activity, and some experts predict things will get worse. Along with Pakistan, Mexico was identified in a Department of Defense report last year as a country that could destabilize rapidly.
If that were to happen, officials are concerned that the drug violence could cross the Rio Grande into southern Texas.
Cesinger said the plan currently does not address a potential flood of refugees, though “It may be something that comes into consideration.”

The People of Mexico are largely unarmed. In America 95% of the small arms are in private hands and 5% of the small arms are in the hands of military and various levels of “government”.
Of course as Noam Chomsky pointed out: “You have guns, they have tanks. You have tanks, they have jets. You have jets, they have nukes”.

West of the rockies, you are wrong about them being unarmed, the mexicans have so many guns, millions and milllions of guns, everyday thousands of guns go south to be traded for drugs. In el paso a stolen 38 is worth about 15-25 bucks, doesn’t matter how nice it is, stolen is stolen, worthless almost, in mexico it is worth about 1 – 15 Kilos of weed or more if it’s really nice, and this has been going on since at least the mid 80’s that I know of. I was told that the reason they are worth so much is because one day when the s--- hits the fan in the usa there is a plan for the mexicans to take over all the tall buildings like the american consulate in Juarez and then use the building as a place to shoot from with the sniper rifles, take out the border control, then rush across the border killing every one they see, and keep doing this until the military comes, which would take a long time, and then they will pull back, the plan was given in much greater detail, but now you can find out about it by looking up the plan of san diego.
One thing I do know is that they have lots and lots and lots and lots of guns, I’ve seen them and they treasure their guns alot more than you like yours!!! The guns are hidden in warehouses known to many many people and they are protected by the mexican police and also I’m sure rogue parts of our government as this plan could not have gone forward without the aid of the border patrol, and qui bono? I happen to live in Cd. Juarez, known as the most violent city in Mexico. Before that I was living mostly in Amarillo, TX. Based on these two experiences I came to understand former governor Jesse Ventura who doens’t like the border fence. Can’t remember his words, but his fear is that one day he might not be able to get out when things turn really nasty in… the US! Whodathunk!
Get real folks. What we have here is a replay of “Operation Gladio” (government sponsored terrorism). It is about creating the pretexts to impose martial law and reduce us to slaves. Or what do you think why violence started to increase significantly the day our imposed (but not elected) president took over office? A Simple Equation: Your money is worthless, because all the money you can collect, guess what? Will go to the banks and from there to central banks and concentrate into one single small ring of power (the ring of the 13 families of powerful richest jews who run the workd: Rockefeller, Rothchilds, etc), your money will be used by the banks to create more debt (will be borrowed by those bastard usurers for a interest %, thus more money will be created for them, almost 10 times) and then your 10 millions will be worthless against their “all the money from the world ” (they control).

And blindly slinging insults and accusations supports your point how? Believe it or not, people actually do take pride in their race. While I’m against the eradication of other races and overall violence, you shouldn’t be so quick as to clump a massive group of people together and then label them. You are then no better than the ones who condone hate against a specific group.
As for multiculturalism? It’s nice to experience other cultures, but we a society becomes completely muddled in different cultures, you tend to lose a sense of togetherness. You can see it today in America. A lot of black people I see wear Black Pride t-shirts with Afrika in the background. I don’t object to it being worn, but it’s a product of us labeling ourselves African-Americans, English-Americans, German-Americans, etc.
So I prefer nationalism more over multiculturalism. Do I object to you promoting your heritage? No, I’m proud of my German lineage. (My family, got here before 1900’s so no, I’m not from a Nazi family) But I am not a German-American, I am simply an American. I speak English because my family assimilated and learned English, to be apart of the American family.
