Back in December, the Wall Street Journal had a good chuckle over Russian academic Igor Panarin’s prediction that the United States would break apart by 2010. Using threadbare Cold War logic, Andrew Osborn wrote that Panarin’s forecast “is music to the ears of the Kremlin, which in recent years has blamed Washington for everything from instability in the Middle East to the global financial crisis.” For the WSL scribe, Panarin’s analysis is about the Red Bear “returning to its rightful place on the world stage after the weakness of the 1990s, when many feared that the country would go economically and politically bankrupt and break into separate territories.”

In fact, it was not so much “weakness” that destroyed Russia as it was the IMF, the World Bank, and Wall Street, in other words it was another bankster looting and fire sale scheme that brought the former Soviet Union down, not that we should expect the Wall Street Journal to admit as much. Ditto the current “global financial crisis” and instability in the Middle East.
“Mr. Panarin posits, in brief, that mass immigration, economic decline, and moral degradation will trigger a civil war next fall and the collapse of the dollar,” Osborn summarizes. “Around the end of June 2010, or early July, he says, the U.S. will break into six pieces — with Alaska reverting to Russian control.”
In the case of a growing number of U.S. states, however, it is not so much economic decline and moral degradation pointing the way to a “disintegration,” but rather violations of the Tenth Amendment. The Tenth Amendment of the United States Constitution, which is part of the Bill of Rights, was ratified on December 15, 1791, and states restates the Constitution’s principle of Federalism by providing that powers not granted to the national government nor prohibited to the states are reserved to the states and to the people. It is based on an earlier provision of the Articles of Confederation: “Each state retains its sovereignty, freedom, and independence, and every power, jurisdiction, and right, which is not by this Confederation expressly delegated to the United States, in Congress assembled.”
Although Fox News and CNN are not telling you about it, a growing number of states are declaring sovereignty. Washington, New Hampshire, Arizona, Montana, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, California, and Georgia have all introduced bills and resolutions declaring sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment. Colorado, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Alaska, Kansas, Alabama, Nevada, Maine, and Illinois are considering such measures.

Sadly, far too many Americans are woefully ignorant when it comes to understanding their rights and the Constitution. As Gary Alder notes in his “15 Key Principles of the Founding Fathers,” the “9th and 10th Amendments are the keystones to preserving Freedom.” In fact, the first 10 amendments, known as the Bill of (Individual) Rights, clarify the restraints placed on the national government and they safeguard the rights of individuals. It does not take a rocket scientist to conclude that all of these individual rights are under withereing attack by the federal government.
“Obama’s plans for a federal handgun license, ‘hate crimes’ laws to regulate Christians’ speech about their own religious beliefs on homosexuality, President Obama’s youth corps for mandatory public service and the so-called ‘Fairness Doctrine’ to ‘balance’ talk radio have New Hampshire Lawmakers telling Obama to basically grow up and get some better ideas,” writes Jake Jones. “They say that if Obama’s plans are implimented, it would constitute a nullification of the Constitution for the United States.”
Unfortunately, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights were nullified many years ago, at least since the emergence of the Federalists under Alexander Hamilton, as Thomas J. DiLorenzo persausively argues. “Federalists like Joseph Story and John Marshall, and later Whig politicians like Daniel Webster and Abraham Lincoln… would tell The Big Lie that the Constitution was ratified by ‘the whole people’ and not as it actually was – by the citizens of the sovereign states, with their representatives assembled in state conventions,” writes DiLorenzo. In the years since, the reach and severity of federalism has grown expotentially. “The U.S. government is now characterized by dictatorial power, abuse of every kind of personal liberty, confiscatory taxation, economic fascism, dangerous militarism, and imperialism.” New World Order minion Obama will take this dictatorial power to new heights under the pretense of saving the people from the bankster engineered global economic depression.
As Obama and Congress further extend the dictatorial reach of the federal government — under the control of a small cotorie of globalists and international bankers — we can expect more states to assert their rights under the Constitution and the Tenth Amendment.

Congresman Dr. Ron Paul isn’t mentioned here because the root article & facts are about several, individual states working on legislation to declare their sovereignty & reminding the Federal Government of their limits of power enumerated in the Tenth Amendment of the Constitution.

To Outrage: Ron Paul’s state of Texas hasn’t declared independence yet because they are waiting for the right moment to do so. Imo, if Texas does declare their own I recommend them to guard the southern borders. You’ll have mass immigration and they will need to establish schools to teach the English to those coming from Mexico. The interior states will need to help the others with their problem if we’re to fix this mess. Follow Ron Paul’s message; take down the Federal Reserve.

I’ve got no problem with Texas, Ron Paul [I voted for him] or this state sovereignty movement. But be aware, none of these states are declaring independence. They are reminding the Federal Government of the limits of their power as specified in the Constitution. Some states are even warning Washington of a possible Constitutional crisis if things continue as they have.
An interesting aside, New Hampshire has a resolution calling for the immediate recall of their National Guard from ALL out of state deployments. This is in addition to their sovereignty resolution. No state is looking to cecede, but are some willing to back up the claim of sovereignty with military force???

I am happy for you, as well as people in oklahoma (where I used to live) and the other states that are doing what should have been done long ago. I live in Texas again, and I have to say it is sad that the only state that was a FREE Republic (for a few years) has become so communitarian and taken away almost all of the freedoms that I used to enjoy when I lived here 25 years ago as a child. Not trying to be pessimistic, but I feel that this may be the “thing” (or part of it) that Biden and others were talking about that will cause Obama to do something that is very unpopular. My fear is that with the NG units all being federalized, Obama will make any state that tries to “secede” (by invoking the rights given to it by the Constitution) an occupied federal district, under the government’s direct control. I hope that I’m wrong, but if it comes to that then I say bring it on!

Yes, State governments have gone and gotten themselves in need of Federal / Banker ‘notes’.
It seems this would be a good place to focus on in supporting State’s intent, and a form of self determination. Most here making comments are worried, angry, frustrated, depressed, scared and a few are ready, right now, to mount a politician’s or a banker’s head on their wall.
It seems we need a focal point and that focal point will hopefully be one that will give us a legal & Constitutional footing. Right now, the Federal ‘government’ has the definition of a ‘terrorist’ so broad, that we may have to play their game; using our Constitutional rights as they were meant. Bill your right, we are a divided Nation, but the Constitution is very important to a lot of Folks out here and they would be willing to die to re-establish it, those States willing to stand for states rights, and standing for the constitution would be flooded with patriots. Initially, it will be the citizens against the machine, however many citizens, in fact the majority, are going to side with the machine. The population has been fully indoctrinated over the past decades to live in fear with a government to protect them. Just about every tv show, other than non brain stimulating reality, depicts a government agency of some type, saving American’s from their fears. The majority will side with the machine in the initial stages because they will be hungry, jobless, homeless and fully dependent on the machine, as planned. Resistance will not be organized. I understand what you are saying, however, I have talked with thousands of people over the past two years about everything now being discussed on TV. What I found was that people are still going to listen to what Katie Courik says than me. Yes, I believe Americans are smart enough to see the crashing waves, but at this point most Americans are two years behind the knowledge curve and will still be more apt to trust their government over the “dissetents”. Real patriot, I think what Patriot means is the civil war was fought over states rights and that here the states are once again declairing States rights. Oh and your going to knock the southern flag why? Because the south had slaves under that flag, well then why do you pledge allegance to the American flag, there were slaves under that flag also, and for a lot longer I might add. The only reason Abe freed the slaves was to keep France and England out of the civil war. You see since they (France& England) had already freed their slaves when the north freed the slaves it would make it look as if they(France & England) were fighting for slavery if they came in on the side of the south. You see the North even held slaves, and sadly after they were freed there were slaves that were hung in Time Square in NY City. So when someone says “The South’s Gonna Do It Again” I dont think for one minute of slavery, but of STATES RIGHTS. It’s history, look it up before you knock something someone says.
Now that being said, I dont live far from PA, and my plan was if Martial law was declaired to go to the mountians in PA to hold out. I hope PA passes this Bill, there would be more of a reason to go there. Oh, and no I dont plan on being on someones private property, there are plenty of state game lands there.

What the hell are you talking about. States declaring their Sovereignty in this “Union” is the MOST American thing they can do. You have read the Constitution yes? The 10th Amendment yes? THEY ARE TRYING TO ENFORCE IT! They are not seceding, you see, that’s entirely different. Read the damn legislation before commenting. They are giving an enumerated list, just like our Declaration of Independence did, of the outrages and illegalities of the current FedGov while stating the lines that shall not be crossed. We are not nor were we ever ‘one nation” we are federation of individual states cooperating together through a federal union under a Constitution.

I think this is a step in the right direction but short of actually declaring independence from the union these measures are largely symbolic. Similar to how the federal government abuses the rights of individual citizens and then ignores their grievances, states that protest will continue to simply be ignored. However if a state legislature actually votes to leave the union this action would not be ignored by the feds.
Perhaps another step in the right direction would be for a state legislature to vote to permanently stop paying all federal taxes including the illegal income tax.

Yet, when it comes to reaffirming states’ rights, all I hear are: Zzzz… Even if more states join this action, will D.C. give a ****? More than likely not. I wouldn’t be surprised, if there ever is a Con-con, if an attempt is made to remove the language. Yet, all of the founding documents (as far as the globalists are concerned) aren’t worth a jar of piss. Is the Russian correct about a fracturing of the U.S.? Perhaps. Something that all of you may not know and I’ve never heard Alex talk about is that we have a 4th Branch of government. It’s called the Administrative branch and it’s the most powerful one leading the force. What this means to you…we have no rights or protection under the constitution if we have a birth certificate or soc # because we were born into slavery. If you want to know more read this book. Even if your state declares it’s sovereignty, you are still not free. This phrase keeps popping up in congressional records and in the courts and it’s why so many patriots are losing battles in court.

Listen Everyone, if you live in a Metropolitan, one of the larger cities in the U. S., then you are already in an interment camp. You could wake up tomorrow morning, and the Police/Military can have you cut off from open land and small towns. If Mr. Burris Votes on any issues pertaining to Americans, we do not have to abide by those Law’s if passed.
Mr. Burris was not elected by the people for the people, but was placed their by a tainted Governor.
Theirfore Mr. ( I’m Not Really A Senator ) Burris’s Vote Does Not Count, an also should void, the overall vote of the Senate!

I’ve been a visitor to this site for almost two and a half years now. Up to about a couple of months ago, these posts use to be numbered. When they were I noticed that, for example, poster number 73 would post: “hey #34, when you said “this, this and that” and I think, yada, yada, yada”. And if you went back to post #34, it actually said “this, this and that”. But then, about a couple of months ago, I started noticing that with new articles, for example, #46 never said “this, this and that” and #56’s post referring to #46 made no sense and had absolutely nothing to do with #46.
It started to make me wonder what #46 had said to get his post removed.
Now all of a sudden, posts are no longer numbered but you can reply to them. So there is less way to determine if someone’s post got removed. Now, my posts are getting removed. And it’s not a case of my username, email address, or computer ID because some things of mine are getting posted but other things which I’ve tried to post several times get posted and then removed 1 minute later.
What’s going on Alex??? Have you learned well from the NWO in incrementally implementing ways of restricting the free speech on your comments board? Please explain (somewhere) or else I will have to bombard this site with this post all over your articles to let you viewers know what’s going on.

Texas really should be at the top of this list due to the way it’s own constitution was drafted, complete with rights of secession, it’s one of a kind.
Washington State’s constitution was drafted in part by my great-great grandfather Daniel Bigelow and other legislators. In it’s simplest form the document was mainly in favor of the rights to freedom for Women & “non-whites” and all people in the former NW Territory. Bigelow’s Independence Day speech on the banks of the Columbia River and subsequent lobbying to congress under Abraham Lincoln was the catalyst that allowed Washington Statehood, thus freeing it’s inhabitants from our racist neighbors to the south, Oregon and making The Columbia the dividing line. The inspiration for this division came from an early black settler and friend of D. Bigelow by the name of George Bush (certainly no kin to GWB) who was mistreated more severely in the Oregon Territory than when he was enslaved. Sadly, Oregon still hasn’t overcome their racist ideologies.

I’m gonna assert my right to freedom of speech.
I was charged $200-$300 for skateboarding in the street. wtf
I was given a citation and I paid exactly $427 for possesion of a fucking half a pack of ciggerettes in California in 2007. I was under 18. I didn’t have a job and it took me 2 months working at minimum wage part time to pay it off. Fuck.
Also, I was charged between $300-$400 for tresspassing when I was 16 years old, along with 2 months of counciling at 5 hours every week. I was taught how to have safesex..yes..safesex… and I watched pointless eduational drug videos. On top of that I was slammed with 50 hours of community service….and if you must know…I was just tresspasing on a roof smoking weed. Didn’t have anything on me. But still I was slammed with all that. Fuck.

the whole idea is not to have states break off seperately but to have all the states recognize that the federal government is stepping over the limit so to speak regarding the continued power grabbing and trampling of states constitutions currently taking place and to exercise 9th and 10th ammendment rights to restrain the federal government from any further infringements.
New hampshire has the best resolution so far and there are plans underway in ohio to come up with something similar.

People need to read the Declaration of Independence in support of this information. It is the responsibility of the people of the United States to defend their rights. That means that the it is the obligation of the people to make sure that the government is acting on the behalf of the people. Everyone! Please familiarize yourselves with the documents on which this nation was founded and compare them to what we have in place today. I see very little similarity to what the original intentions of our founding fathers were trying to create.

Just a knee jerk reaction but, I’m thinking of it this way ‘at the moment’… Perhaps what we need is a ‘virtual, constitutional “Civil War” just like the one we have had, except this time the war between the states will be one of principle.
The benefit if this war will be arriving, in the end, at “a” and the Truth with which we call all live with…and a side benefit is, as a rule in past wars America has financed both sides of almost every war… should that be the case with this war, again who benefits? America.

Declaring sovereignty isn’t seceding; its declaring state sovereignty. It is only to assert states rights and to remind the federal government by law, that the federal government is an agent of the states and not the other way around.

jin, U just dont get it. The states have always had individual rights. It is the states that make up the union, not the union made up of states. This is to protect us form Obama’s marshall law coming our way. Everyone write to your congressman, especially if they’re democrats who are selling us out. Now I have to write to my traitor Governor Bill Richardson, NM to express our concerns and support for this. NM is overwelmingly Mexican and Democrat, BUT many are gun owners and hunters alike. The movement to suppress gun sales and ownership is something they think we’re making up ! I will to my best to spread the word.

Law abiding citizens in New Hampshire.
I have a warrant over my head because my husband went through the toll. Before going through the toll it read “Call E-Zpass…… Couple of weeks go by and we get a letter in the mail with a black and white photo of my car and license plate. They want $300.00 or a warrant would be issued. How do you pay some illegal fine when you don’t have a job nor does your husband, our telephone was shut off along with our electricity, you are losing your home to foreclsoure and your one and only vehicle is being repossed for non payment. You are sick with no health insurance and the skies over your head are filled with chemtrails? We have absolutely no income and we have no more savings left. There are no jobs here in Massachusetts or New Hampshire. The unemployment rates all across the country are nothing but lies lies and more lies.

We as America have to do what our predecessor did, that means what ever it takes to protect our civil right, this doesn’t make you unpatriotic. I don’t think that any American is for separation of states, but if our freedom is in JEOPARDY, America will stand up and a price will be paid, we should not stand for “CHANGE”, At least not that Kind that removes God from schools or the Pledge Of Allegiance, God Should still be the center of it all . Their “anti-hate speech” law states that those found guilty of such “crimes” can be imprisoned for a number of years, if found guilty. Something as little as getting into a fight with someone, and spurting ONE slur at them, could count. This is going to make ethnic turmoil extremely severe if they pass it this time.
