India challenges Western data linking climate change, Himalayan melt

Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh released a report last week that says there is no conclusive evidence that climate change has caused the melting of the Himalayan glaciers. The report says that not all of the glaciers are receding at alarming rates and that a few are even advancing.
The report, an analysis of data from the past four decades, is part of India’s efforts to produce a body of indigenous research assessments on the subject.
“So far, we have been depending on research conducted by the West on what is happening to our glaciers and environment,” he said after releasing the report, which was prepared by a former scientist with the Geological Survey of India and included a disclaimer that it did not necessarily reflect the government’s view.

NASA has been given over to studying climate now, I guess because they lost all that nifty 60s technology for going to the moon and can’t do it anymore (Saturn V blueprints, radiation shielding, etc etc). If you go to NASA’s webpage and try to learn exactly how they calculated that the Greenland icecap is losing mass, it’s not there. You get the runaround. They talk about satellite altitude telemetry combined with remote gravity detection combined with some other big words stuck in a computer blender and voila! RISING SEAS!

I read emails those quack-scientist were exchanging. They could not produce data which will support their theory.
So, they picked up data form 1032-1035 when large volcanic explosion in China spewed out 50 cubic kilometers of dust into atmosphere and created mini ice age.
When they used data from 1000 BC to modern time, they found out there is no global warming.

not an indian here, but regarding china and india benefitting by increased transmigrations of US industry abroad: 2 problems: US has no industry left to export and if they did, it would be a drop in the bucket compared to native Chinese development. Not enough to matter.
On India, I have read the same sort of thing by Indian nationalists, that China will sneak attack them. I have seen no evidence whatsoever. You have to remember a few things: India and Pakistan and China are nuclear powers, and ALL THREE have a slice of Kashmir, which is disputed. Pakistan recognizes China’s claim to Aksai Chin, India does not. India and Pakistan do not recognize one another’s claim to Kashmir. Then there’s the Punjab and Sikhs in India, and there’s Pashtunistan in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Pashtun=Pakhtun, same as Pashto. The only power that seems to be involved in divide and conquer adventures is the USA: in Uighurstan in China, throughout Afghanistan, in Pakistan and in Iran. I guess the idea is to try to drive a dagger of instability between China and Russia. Right now the US is sponsoring a new civil war in Pakistan.

The instability in Afghanistan and Pakistan do not require the US to add to it. I realy do not see any benifit to the US in destabilizing Pakistan. Especially when one considers that they have at least 4 diesel submarines that have extended tanks that can reach the US , AND they are nucear weapons capable! Isn’t it amusing that the Pakistani do not have a trouble with the G-dless commies having part of the Kasmir. That’s because the Peoples Army don’t mess around. They love decapitating Muslims!

The key to this DRAMA is, I believe, that there is enough old Soviet nukes floating around. Especially since the Plubonium(SP) 210 that poisened the Russian disodent Muslim revert in London a few years ago. I think old zbigniew in his book outlines why partitioning pakistan makes some sort of sense for us policy. on oil routes, it might not be so much connecting afghanistan to the ocean via pakistan, but connecting/blocking iran from china. just a thought. oh, and it was polonium isotope 210. although i doubt the russians did it, looks more like the US to me, a false flag.

1) Average annual temperatures have not surpassed 1998 (NOAA)

2) Average annual temperatures are now trending downward since 1998
(NOAA) (University of Alabama)
3) Ocean temperatures have not risen since 2000 when the 3000 Argo buoys
were launched. The buoys even show a slight decrease in ocean temperatures
4) The Arctic ice froze to February levels by December 07, there are 1mm
more sq km than before (previous was 13mm sq km)
5) The Arctic ice is 20cm thicker than “normal” (whatever that is)
6) All polar bear pods are stable or growing (NOAA/PBS)
7) Mount Kilimanjaro is not melting because of global warming, rather
The Antarctic is not “melting”, it is growing in most places, the
“sublimation”
sloughing off at the edges is normal as the ice mass grows
9) The majority of the Antarctic is 8 degrees below “normal” (again,
whatever that is)
10) The coveted .7 degree rise in temperatures over the last 100 years
has been wiped out with last years below “normal” temperatures (NOAA
coolest winter since 2001)
11) Al Gore’s film was just deemed “propaganda” in a court of law in the
