Indianapolis To Become “Mock Battlefield”

Indianapolis will become a "mock battlefield" for the next three weeks according to local press, as over two thousand marines will stage a huge urban warfare training exercise in and around the city.
About 2,300 Marines from the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, based at Camp Lejeune, N.C., will conduct urban warfare training from Wednesday through June 19 in and around Indianapolis, reports the Indy Star.
The marines have been granted permission by state, federal and local authorities to fire weapons, conduct patrols, run vehicle checkpoints, react to ambushes and employ nonlethal weapons after landing helicopters and deploying throughout various parks, stadiums and fairgrounds.
“We don’t want anyone thinking that there’s an invasion happening or that we declared martial law or something like that,” Debbi Fletcher of the Indianapolis/Marion County Emergency Management Agency commented.
“Our aim in Indianapolis is to expose our Marines to realistic scenarios and stresses posed by operating in an actual urban community, thereby increasing their proficiency in built-up areas,” Col. Mark J. Desens, commander of the 26th MEU, said in a statement. “While some of the activity will take place around Camp Atterbury, residents in many areas can expect to see helicopters flying overhead, military vehicles on the roads and Marines patrolling on foot,” Desens said.
Indianapolis is seemingly welcoming the marines with open arms, in stark contrast to the last story of this nature we reported on in Toledo, Ohio where Mayor Carty Finkbeiner expelled the members of Company A, 1st Battalion, 24th Marines back in February because he did not think it a good idea to have uniformed soldiers drilling in a highly visible area as it may have disrupted and frightened residents.
The Mayor was subsequently castigated by the mainstream media for taking the decision.
In response to the criticism and even small protests in Toledo, Finkbeiner said “Anybody who suggests that this man is in some way, shape, or form not loyal to this country or not loyal to the military of this country, well that person is just a plain baboon who doesn’t know me in any way, shape, or form and what I stand for,”
It is a well documented that the use of military for law enforcement violates the Posse Comitatus Act. The increased spate of urban warfare drills has many fearing that this long standing law is slowly being eroded and everyday Americans becoming acclimatized to the idea of an active military in their towns and cities.
The military has purpose built facilities for training, it is unacceptable and unlawful to have troops training on the streets of towns and cities in America. Nevertheless, the media routinely castigates the idea of preventing it from occurring.
Reporting on this saga, Jim Kouri of NewsWithViews.com interviewed former and current police chiefs who believe the motive for training US troops inside American cities is more sinister:
“The police power has traditionally been reserved for the states. The fact that we’re allowing military troops to train in US cities is a violation of that tradition. We don’t need federal troops to intervene in matters that should be handled by local police officers, state troopers and the National Guard,” one former detective states.
“The increasing use of Urban Warfare Training Exercises, I believe, desensitizes both the public to the deployment of military forces in their own neighborhoods,” warns a police chief, whose mayor endorses the use of military forces within the US.
“It also desensitizes military and police personnel so that they will accept what was once considered unacceptable,” another police chief comments.
We have previously documented the coordinated program of urban warfare drilling in America and how such activity has increased in tandem with an growing effort to erode the ancient law of Posse Comitatus.
In 911: The Road to Tyranny Alex Jones presents footage of troops training to put Americans into Concentration Camps. This footage includes interrogations and a retired Marine admitting that in 1988 he was kicking down doors in Norfolk, Virginia. The Marines would be ordered to the local Police station where they would don Police uniforms. They would then go to the local gun shop or dealers home and "Take Them Down."

In Alex Jones’ feature Police State 2000 he covers Operation Urban Warrior where actors posed as American citizens who were Unconstitutionally seized from their homes by the military and police. These Americans: were rounded up and confined behind barbed-wire.
The actors were told to demand to be let free and state that they had rights. They were also told to demand food and water. The troops in turn were taught to ignore them and to order them to behave in an orderly fashion. "Civil disobedience will not be tolerated" was one of the many disturbing statements heard to emanate from the military’s loud speakers.
Over the years there have been countless drills of this nature. The media simply reports them as training for dealing with foreign enemies, yet the volunteers and the participants are always told differently.
Here’s a report on another urban warfare drill entitled "The Millennium Challenge 2002". This drill was conducted secretly across 26 States in 2002.

In 2005 details of just one of many Military operations on American soil was exposed in the run up to Bush’s second coronation. A secret counterterrorism program code-named Power Geyser. A small group of super-secret commandos were hidden among 13000 police and troops and "stood ready with state-of-the-art weaponry to swing into action.".
There have been literally thousands of these kind of operations in the planning and going on for years now. Many designed to use the military on the streets of American cities in direct violation of Posse Comitatus. The Pentagon has a full Command in operation working on these activities, the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC).
We have seen how new provisions will effectively nullify the U.S. constitution, and a recent spate of executive orders, in particular PDD 51, outline preparations for the implementation of open martial law in the event of a declared national emergency.
The Pentagon has "War Plans" drafted in the event of any type of terror attack, which would be coordinated by Northcom in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security and would involve martial law and thousands of troops on the streets.

Great article, Steve Watson! Please keep the spotlight on what’s happening in Indianapolis. It’s key to everything else and needs to be kept in the forefront. Everyone should contact the Indiana Militia and alert them to this! People MUST take this opportunity to take a STAND (somehow, someway), or else it will only get worse from here on out. If people don’t do anything about this, of course they will think we are too lazy and dumb to even care. In that case, guess we can all just shut up then about anything of importance. Now is the time and place to make our collective voice heard.

id like to think if my goernment tried to stage anything like this a huge ammount of people would turn up to let the scum know they are not welcome to conduct these sorts of urban warfare drills.
you have to ask yourself why they dont use actors in a staged environment, its to acclimitize us.

It’s nopt just the people of Indianapolis though, it’s about everyone who is aware of this bombarding the mayor and sheriff with calls and emails. They think the rest of the country isn’t paying attention. Now is the time to make our voices heard. Posse Comitatus states Army cannot be used to police “except in such cases and under such circumstances as such employment of said force may be expressly authorized by the Constitution or by act of Congress” Did Congress pass something that would allow this without us knowing?
Doubtful, because these “training exercises” do not break the law, they’re “exercises”, if they give the troops authority to arrest, then that’s breaking the law and they should be reported and fined according to the Posse Comitatus Act. Get ready folks, war’s coming to our front yards…

I remember around the time the DC Madam committed “suicide” and that CIA person that was killed on the same day in texas by police, that Alex commented on govt. using police as killers to get at people. I have never heard about POWER GEYSER until today and after reading about 13,000 or more special-mission units in extra-legal operations on US soil, make me think that what if some if not all are trained to carry out a killing on US soil. The definition of extra-legal (is outside of legal control or authority; not regulated by law), which also leads to Extra-judicial killing.
Also something must be coming into being in the next few months, for the marines to be training for city fighting in the middle of Indianapolis. They already have mock cities and mock towns that can be used for training, why go there. At least in a mock city you can have soldiers act as the enemy and the civilians and shoot at you. In indianapolis it seems more like they are using the citizens as guinea pigs and to intimidate them. Here’s a question, what if somebody doesn’t want to have his car searched at a checkpoint what then. And why go from Camp Lejuene North Carolina all the way to Indianapolis IN. I have been in Camp Lejuene, they could have easily did it in and around that base in the city its in. The city and county gets so much money from that base, they would have happily let it happen.
There’s something in the air this summer, and it may be looking at a midwest city for something to happen.

I live in Indianapolis. Anyone have any NON-VIOLENT ways that I could effectively let the people here and the understand the magnitude of this gross unconstitutional offense. I have ideas, but I think that we who have chosen to learn and understand the truth, are of the brightest and righteous minds in this country. I want people to change the way they think, (there is alot of ignorance here) and believe this can be a great oppurtunity to help spread the truth. So–Tell me what you think.

In the 80s at Benning, we had and I am sure they have still a mock town that they have surely improved upon, we practiced clearing houses etc, but not against civilians, at least not openly.
This trash they are doing today is repugnant and like the other guy said, there are plenty of buildings just like any town or city would and does have on most every post and base that they could do these exorcises in. Especially in the Navy which I was also in, there are plenty of large buildings, barracks, the PX etc that these drills could be practiced in, as a matter of fact, here in Mississippi, they have a multi military base, camp Shelby were all these things are in fact at this time being practiced and they hire military and civilians to role play, I was in the VA with one of them and he dis[played all his credentials, we were talking about the ‘camps ‘ they have there as in the POW camps that have Russian and English signs, he had I.D from halliburton and others.

They break posse comitatus they are no longer working for us, and I have a big problem with that. This can’t mean anything but coming martial law. Food and fuel is going to kill alot of people this winter. They are ready for an uprising. They will slaughter women and children in the street, hell after two tours in Iraq, who cares what country your doing it to. I suspected this was happening how I know it’s happening. This is nothing short of proxy civil war and undeclared martial law. They want the streets and we cannot give it to them. My god… Pinch me. I want to know what other operations they are planning this summer. This is more than urbanizing troops, this is getting them comfortable with fighting Americans. Those who have seen it coming, for decades, the granddad’s of the truth movement. This icing is bitter sweet. I hope we still have good men in our military. You don’t have to follow an order if it’s illegal. This roguish government might think it’s s---s together, but it’s not and I’m starting to believe, better men should be placed in those positions by force if need be. I think loyalist men should stop these unlawful soldiers from occupying our domestic soil. That is an unconstitutional occupying force, capable of installing a new civilian government in Minnesota and it is a threat to our security and sovereignty.

In Alabama where I live (Birmingham), we have ROMANIAN AND RUSSIAN soldiers running around. I’ve seen them and know people who have seen them. There is a concentration camp at Anniston, AL (at a closed down WAC Army base) with white vans going in full of people pounding on the walls screamng “let me out”. Residents of Anniston have reported this! Get ready for Red and Blue List roundups coming to a neighborhood near you!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve noticed many here have suggested fire on possibly armed, possibly armed, marines. This may seem like a lame comparison, but I’ve played paintball and lasertag with a marine in the past and gotten my ass handed to me on a silver platter countless times. If one should shoot at marines conducting drills, even if those exercises are illegal, how long will it be until live ammunition is used instead of blanks? Soldiers, especially marines, are desensitized to violence during training and they most likely will not hesitate to return fire. Brotherhood/gang mentalilty rules military and police organizations. Very rarely is safety of non-combatants an actual concern. Just words of caution from a man who wants to fight back, but intelligently. Also, Frank Jones, #31, that is very disturbing and I hope, but doubt, that you’re mistaken.

Well Joe, you’re right about that, but there are a lot of former soldiers and marines who are just as dedicated and desensitized and even for those who are not, if attacked, when attacked, it is not a matter of choice anymore than it is for those in Iraq etc.

#39, Primary Edict, if you contact the Indiana Militia website, http://www.indianamilitia.org, you can find out what they stand for by checking out the info available. While you are at it, you might send an email (5th Brigade) and/or call Headquarters. They need to know people are watching what’s happening in Indiana and that we are behind them. Their reason to exist is to stand up against tyranny.

In Florida, we have the COLUMBIAN military everywhere. They go to our restaurants and shopping areas in full military uniforms, black berets and all. Some are in their camo fatigues, some are in flight suits, some are dressed like commercial pilots. Anyone else have foreign military in their areas, besides Frank Jones? Just curious how many different foreign troops are here and of course WHY!?!

to be honest with you Im still shaken up and upset from having the US Marshals, the FBI, the Secret Service, the ATF and the Texas Jim Wells County Police sticking their automatic weapons in my face as I was taking a shower at the home of Reno Gonzalez whom was wrongfully arrested for his support for the tax protesters Ed and Elaine Brown back in September, all without warrant. I just know I will not be sleeping while this sh!t takes place on the streets of Indy!

If I see a military checkpoint anytime during those three weeks I am turning around and not stopping, if stopped I will disregard and continue. They have no authority over the citizens…period they are not local or state policemen, and it is illegal for them to pretend to be so. No only is it unconstitutional it violates the law. Give me a god damn break, what the f--- ever happened to the rule of law politicians always talk about. This is the rule of the f---ing globalist jungle here. I know Im not going to comply. Anyone who accepts this in my opinion is weak and doesn’t deserve a free country (in my opinion). This country was free because of great men and brave men, who decided to stand up and say they deserve better…. are you going to be a person who willingly hands over your freedom, or allow them to temporarily violate the constitution and your rights even if only for a minute? It’s not worth it, it’s very degrading if you have any values or honor.

I too live near Indy. We have already seen many camo. trucks moving in the Lebonon area right outside of Indy. This is also on the wishtv.com web site. It is said that if you have things such as the Bible, Patriot items like Ron Paul campaign items or books by Alex J. and the like, knife, gun, Pocket Constitution and other such items, they will detain you for at least one day.
Moreover, one must ask themselfs, why? Besides “power”, what would be the main reason for all this. Underground FEMA cities, Martial Law, Chip ID and Real Id, Detetion camps and global warming, Why?

2,300 marines is an occupying force on domestic soil, our Legislative Branch, State and Federal to allow this are bordering on rogue government. Army Combat Uniforms – These uniforms they are wearing are pretty interesting, how they came about and so on. Pretty good read. The info about why they were developed is facinating. Probably a good idea to pick up a few sets of these. I can think of more than a few uses.

I motion for public flogging, you know, the constitution says that the states sovereignty is to be above federal, something to the effect of, swarms of states militia should repel any federal offenders. The marines won’t be just in Indianapolis. They’re going to be coming through smaller cities like North Vernon and Columbus as well. Living in of those cities, I’m scared as hell. I will not go out of my home during the week they are supposed to be in my part of the state. I have no idea why people haven’t said anything in the news about this or any opposition to it as well. It’s almost as if someone is using the tactic from “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” where they left notice of it happening only in a spot we couldn’t see until it was too late!

ive seen passenger trains with super tinted looking windows running through the northern ohio area at night going west everytime i go out i see more and more police there is a local radio station broadcasting the f.b.i and boarder patrol is hiring ive never heard of the fbi hiring over the radio this is happening do not trap yourselves in your beds at night unprepared. have u seen this new movie the happenings commercial ” it will happen to u on friday the 13″ im not trin to be a finatic sceptic but im guessin these troops in cities will not be leaving when they say they are.if u do not have your own plans for how u r going to save your family from this i would advise finding places in nature to take your loved ones with natural cover this is real and if your to drunk or ignorant to see it then… RISE UP

Today was the first day of the drills. Helicopters full of marines circled my neighborhood 4 times, each time getting lower and lower until my windows shook. The news tonight said they were doing this because it’s offering uncharted territory for them and new challenges. Not to mention that they are doing night drills as well. It’s all a little too close for comfort.
