Inhofe Announces Climategate Investigation on Fox News

U.S. Senate Committee on Environment & Public Works
Sen. James M. Inhofe (R-Okla.), Ranking Member of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, today sent letters to several scientists, some of whom allegedly manipulated data to prove the scientific “consensus” of global warming, as well as to the inspectors general of several federal agencies, notifying them to retain documents related to the release of emails from the University of East Anglia Climatic Research Unit in England.

“I certainly don’t condone the manner in which these emails were released; however, now that they are in the public domain, lawmakers have an obligation to determine the extent to which the so-called ‘consensus’ of global warming, formed with billions of taxpayer dollars, was contrived in the biased minds of the world’s leading climate scientists.”
The letters are the first step in the investigation of the climate scandal. Last week, emails released by a computer hacker revealed that several leading climate scientists allegedly manipulated climate data and research used by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). These scientists also appear to have refused outside access to their raw data, obstructed freedom of information requests, and plotted ways to prevent the publication of papers in peer-reviewed journals by scientists who question global warming alarmism.

Wrong! All treaties signed by the President MUST be approved by the Senate. That is why Clinton’s Kyoto Treaty signing failed … the Senate rejected it.
Currently Senator Inhofe is gathering up an investigation into the CRU data and stated that “Cap and Trade” is going nowhere!

Wasn’t the wohole planet in an Ice Age, way before Industrialization? It warmed up and that ice melted with out human intervention.

good luck, i don’t think it matters anymore. the officials have proven time and again that its simple to ignore evidence., leon penetta , my old congressman, wrote me , last year and claimed he didn’t know about any EVIDENCE. my current congressman acts the same way… they just play opossum, and pretend nothing is out of the ordinary.

The global warming movement reminds me of a cult. We can call them the Church of Climatology. To them skepticism is a really bad thing, and if you question their beliefs they call you a denier (may as well call you a heretic). Why would the global warming scientists share their rare data with other scientists outside of their small clique? Should other scientists take their word on faith? And since when is skepticism a bad thing in science? Isn’t that an essentiall element? Al Gore declared that “the debate is over.” That is a religious mindset, Mr. Gore.

I downloaded the files and I’m still at awe over the blatant criminaliity. I’m sure if people know about this they will kill cap and trade and all weather related draconian legislation. Inhofe is to be commended for standing up for what’s right. Funny how the news is tight lipped about this whole story that’s bigger than Watergate. The hackers should be honored for their efforts but thats not going to happen. So all you people on the damn fence about man made global warming can now climb down before you fall down……..The fence has been eliminated.

Now we need to ask if weather modification is the other part of this climate warming conspiracy.
Someone needs to determine if weather modification was used and or is being used to prop up certain weather data that supports the climate warming hoax.
If we can link weather manipulation by whatever means with creating false data by these scientist and Universites then we can begin to see that the level of our problem is more entrenched than we ever thought.
Either way, its a good way to find out just how deep the rabbit hole goes.
P.S. This disclosure brought a smile to my face for it affirmed my belief in my own judgement of the topic of global warming. We have enviornmental issues and pollution issues, but we should never use created and or manipulated data to support some hidden agenda.

Here’s a suggestion for what you might want to say:
“… in light of the ClimateGate Emails and the ongoing investigation into what apparently amounts to an attempted Global Warming Hoax:”
1) Please consider requesting an indefinite hold on any consideration of “Cap and Trade” legislation until this entire matter is thoroughly investigated and resolved.
2) Please consider calling for President Obama to not make any agreements or sign any Treaties at the upcoming Copenhagen Climate Summit in December, in light of these shocking revelations about the probable hoaxing of “Global Warming”.
