I think what I’d do if I was a USA citizen & not as lazy would be to start a secret network that harbours scientists that can break the oil industry’s grip on the power market. Get some guys to convert cars into water-power & keep them alive long enough to spread awareness. Viva la Water!

I don’t know the real situation with oil – does anyone? I worked for an oil company as a consultant in the last couple of years and I do know that almost all of the conventional wells in Canada and the US are dry. It’s mostly the heavy (tar sands) stuff that is left in northern Canada. There is enough there to last for at least 10 years. Coal can be turned into oil but it’s expensive.

Looks like a lot of folks need to wake up. Oil will be 300 and more in time. Oil is used in every product made. As the value of our currency goes down, it takes more dollars to buy the same quantity of oil.

I once read in Fortean Times years ago about a man who made a gasoline like substance with water and a mixture of plants (only to have been beaten into submission, literally).
I’d like to think that if I had plans for a water, wind, etc powered engine, the one thing I would do is secretly make copies of the blueprints and give them to folks. True, there would be no money made, but let’s face it. Invent a better mousetrap and the Feds come down and kill you.

Oil will NOT hit $300/barrel. The reason why is at that price oil sands become much more profitable/competative and there’s a lot more oil sands in the world than crude oil. Canada alone has more oil sands than all of the oil ever in Saudi Arabia. OPEC has to keep the PPB at the “magic” number. THis number is the highest value tolerated by the economies that purchase it. Any higher and they look to oil sands…any lower and Saudi’s profits drop. Seems that magic # nowadays is between $90 -$110/barrel.

Most all languages are human languages. English is a terrible language that has lost it’s way a long time ago. Compound languages are not very truth friendly, derivative languages are.

K heres thee rub for all you tits who r goin on about religion when the article talks about oil they have chat rooms for you, jews killed jesus so thats why thy were given a plot of land known as iraq, and yes 300 a barrel will happen i have watched the markets to no. in a matter of 3 months oil doubled it self and had made records beyond imagination, EX. it takes approx. 60 barrels of oil to prduce a corvette, so if you put this in perspective you would be paying maybe 360,000 dollars for a car depending on how nice the car salesperson feels on that day. furtheremore when your payin 500,000 dollars for a loaf of bread and god aint anwsering those prayer of yours when r u goin to be when a depression hits need i say more.

Sallie Mae screwed me when I got a $5000 loan for my son. They want $24000 back.
Now I am receiving all kinds of letters from loan company who no longer want to loan to me becasue of the lack of funds the FED GOV will cover.
I have a bus card.
The apartment i live in was bought by Mac Apartments who bought up 44 buildings in one day in my hood. Now they are closing these buidling down to renovate. So there goes all the students ath the Univ of Chicago. There goes all the Senior Citizen who are paying 50% of thier Soc Sec for rent. My hood is mostly million dollar homes.

yes and I forget . SOMEHOW MAC APARTMENT is connected to DUBAI in Saudi Arabia this guy comes from New York and just buys up all of these apartments. I think the Univ Of Chicago wants all the poor and seniors out of the hood thats why they allow this to happen.
I use to know all kinds of folks in my hood — know i no one — cause Mac Apartments kicks anybody out if they are a few days late on rent. They keep your security deposit and just tell you ” Oh you dont have to pay rent this month , cause its to much trouble for us to give you back your security deposit.” Then they charged me $500 just so I can have one cat in my apartment.
