YOU PEOPLE ARE TRULY SAD. ARE YOU ALL MEMBERS OF THE PEOPLE’S TEMPLE? SHOULD WE ALL PRAY FOR THE RESURRECTION OF JONES AND THE RAINBOW FAMILY SO THAT YOU THEORIST CAN HAVE ANOTHER KOOL-AID PARTY? PERSONALLY I LIVE IN ARCADIA AND GREW UP IN THE AREA. I’M AN OLD IOWA FARM BOY BORN AND RAISED TO LOVE OUR COUNTRY. MOST OF THE GUYS IN THE ALPHA TROOP LIVE IN ARCADIA, THOUGH THEIR GUARD HOUSE IS IN CARROLL(7MILES AWAY). THESE ARE GUYS I USE TO GO TO SCHOOL WITH OR AT ONE POINT WORKED WITH. HELL TWO OF THEM LIVE ON MY BLOCK. I DON’T GIVE A SHIT WHAT THEY DO IN TOWN AS I WORK 6 DAYS A WEEK AND WOULD NOT BE THERE. SO, AS THE ARTICLE SAYS, I WILL OPT OUT NOT TO PARTICIPATE SO THAT THEY DO NOT ENTER MY HOME WHILE I’M AWAY. I KNOW EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN ARCADIA AND WHILE WE HAVE OUR SHARE OF IOWA METH HEADS, WE DON’T HAVE ANY ARMS SMUGGLERS. YOU PEOPLE ARE JUST PLAIN F***ING STUPID. YOU NEED TO GO OUT, GET A JOB, GET OFF THE COMPUTER, AND STOP THEORIZING THAT THE WORLD WILL SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUST IN THE FORTHCOMING OF THE ALPHA COMPANY. YOU’RE ALL PATHETIC

have you ever heard of martial law… they can do whatever they want under that and all it takes is a national disaster or threat to start it … Martial Law is a police state not a democracy… and under that provision the government can do whatever they want… unless we can stop them…( our right to bare arms.) have you been in the military??? Dude nothing ever done as an exorcise is for no reason … we have had arms dealers in this country since it began. So now they will be doing what the British soldiers did. Hey we fought for freedom…why give that up even and inch… centimeter… hell any amt even so small. Wake up and smell the gunsmoke.. this is not for finding arms dealers… POLICE can do that. not the military..

National Guard is for National security.. not civil security. Don’t prticipate. Or if you want join the guard and become part of it.

This is bending the law. If Posse Comitatus is revoked we are all screwed.
The Posse Comitatus Act is a United States federal law (18 U.S.C. § 1385) passed on June 16, 1878 after the end of Reconstruction, with the intention (in concert with the Insurrection Act of 1807) of substantially limiting the powers of the federal government to use the military for law enforcement. The Act prohibits most members of the federal uniformed services (today the Army, Air Force, and State National Guard forces when such are called into federal service) from exercising nominally state law enforcement, police, or peace officer powers that maintain “law and order” on non-federal property (states and their counties and municipal divisions) in the former Confederate states.

The statute generally prohibits federal military personnel and units of the National Guard under federal authority from acting in a law enforcement capacity within the United States, except where expressly authorized by the Constitution or Congress. The Coast Guard is exempt from the Act.

And for all you clowns that think that this really has anything to do with searching for illegal weapons dealers in the US, think about the fact that Alpha is sure as shit gonna be looking for illegal weapons distributors and caches in the little shytbox shacks in hadjiland. I’d damn sure like to see some of you dressed in the ACU helping out,rather that shyting all over your keyboards claiming that King Rat is on the way. Wow. Too bad Alpha won’t get to do the level of training they’ll need when they start chasing hadji around trying to disrupt the Tali arms circuits in the sandbox. Too bad so many folks think that it’s there job to tell Iowa, a sovereign state, how to run their biznets. Ryan, the original poster had it right – butt out. The reason that Alpha is doing this is that sometime in the pretty damned near future, these boys (probably mostly farm kids from the western IA area) are gonna be up to their heads in the crap in Afghanistan. This has less to do with taking away our rights than it does giving our boys a chance to work a problem in a realistic environment. I’ve got an idea. Let’s load them up with sim rounds and let them deal with the perceived threats presented by all the beards and camo that will be there in April. It’s probably gonna look like the tali’s came to visit, all that’ll be missing is the turbans on top of the beards.

Try to get people to stand up! If we were standing together like the million man march people did we could all make a change but we are cowards. We have all become pussy’s and will not stand together. We are afraid of our goverment no matter what we say. Look what our goverment done to the kids at kent state. they shot them killed them right in front of the TV camra. Who stood up and told them they were wrong! We know in our hearts that our goverment will kill all they want and say it was because they were were trying to distroy America. Well lissen up they Have distroyed America and contuniue to tear it down every day what are we doing to change it but run our mouth? Wrighting to our congress or someone setting up there in there office will not change a thing they don’t give a dam about you or me. The only thing they care about is how they are going to get there next fix. Money makes our goverment go round, Take it away from them and see how much you get from them.
Refuse to pay taxes. Refuse to bow down. refuse to take the shit they give.
I am but one person, Standing alone I am nothing. What happend to our country? what happend to our people when did we become chicken. Oh I know when we alowed them to take God from us. when we listened to them and said we are great so we don’t need God any longer. Why do you think you are having all the trouble today?

this happend in North Carolinia, and in texas. I sure wish I could rember what town so you could check it out your self.
you are getting mad at the wrong person buddy you need to take the blinders off and see what way you are going. If you think the goverment can’t take something away from you look at what you had and now at what you don’t.
