Iranian Journalists, Bloggers Arrested, in Hiding

A dozen Iranian journalists and bloggers have been arrested and many others are in hiding after authorities took steps to restrict the media, Reporters Without Borders (RSF) said today.
The Paris -based press watchdog has set up a hotline for journalists in danger and has been trying to reach Iranian journalists who may be targeted after disputed elections sparked mass protests in Tehran.
“We have lost contact with many of them,”RSF secretary general Jean-Francois Julliard said of the journalists.
“We think that they may have sought refuge in the provinces where the situation is calmer or they may have been arrested,”he told AFP.
About a dozen journalists have been arrested since violent protests erupted following the announcement of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad&aposs re-election, according to RSF figures.
The organisation also condemned a decision to ban foreign journalists from attending mass rallies.

When is justice going to be served? I think it is obvious the Iranian election was somwhat rigged, and people are now being arrested for protesting or reporting. Thats tyranny for you.

I don’t quite get the fuss. Amadijablah is only a puppet for the REAL religious rulers of Iran.. So the other puppet they allow to run ‘may’ be more supportive of western influence? So the yanks prefer puppet two to puppet one? I’m missing something.. what is the fuss about? That the #2 puppet will turn on its puppeteer and become all “democratic” – like the USA – Where no matter who gets in – the same policies are pursued with renewed vigour, no matter which puppet president gets elected by the drones?

Yep sounds like typical tyranny to me. I’m not an expert on Iranian culture, but judging from what I’ve seen reported here and there, the Iranians are not as domesticated as we are here in Amerika. Perhaps they will take their liberty whether or not the tyrants want them too.

Just think about this! If you can control your fear, then you can control your mind. And if you can control your mind, then you can control your life. Just a little bit of inspiration. Don’t let fear dictate your actions in life and defiantly don’t let it hold you back from fighting for truth.
Like most people we all have a natural fear of worrying about what other people think. If we constantly worry about whether our ways, actions, and beliefs will be accepted by society, then you are letting society and your fear control and dictate your actions. We know that as truth seekers and infowarriors that the majority of society think we are just crazy for believing 9/11 was an inside job. But if we let fear and society get the better of us then how will we ever be able to stand up and fight for what we believe in? How will we ever get the courage to place that infowars.com 9/11 was an inside job bumper sticker on our car, how will we ever have the courage to hold up that banner and protest in the streets? How will we ever have the courage to burn those DVDs and hand them out? and how will we ever be able to confront and influence our political leaders into investigating the truth about 9/11 and government corruption for themselves.
Stand up and have courage! If we have confidence and courage, and Put our selves outside of our comfort zone we will see what every human being is capable of doing. Don’t let your mind be your prison.
