Starkly pro-American minister threatens Iraqi parliament
Iraq’s defense minister Abdul Qadir Muhammed Jassim threatened to declare a state of emergency if Iraq’s parliament refused to sign an accord allowing US troops to stay in the country for three more years.

His rhetoric was eerily in tune with Bush Administration officials’ comments on domestic security and Iran, echoing language used by the Administration to bolster support for the Iraq war.
If the US withdraws, he said, “we shall wait for a strike against us, in our midst.” He added that foreign intelligence services may be attempting to infiltrate Iraqi affairs — a shot at Iran — an identical charge made by US officials.
A state of emergency could allow Iraq’s government to dissolve parliament.
Jassim was a general in Saddam Hussein’s army who was demoted after opposing a 1980 invasion of Kuwait and spent several years in jail. Serving under Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki [above right], His recent comments have suggested an unusual sycophancy toward US policy and General David Petraeus in particular.
In October, Jassim floated the idea of naming the first tank delivered to the Iraqi army after General Petraeus.
“I think it would be suitable to name the first tank to arrive in General Petraeus’s name,” he said at a recent ceremony honoring America’s senior Iraqi general. “When they have M1 tanks working with them and supporting them they will remember General Petraeus.”
Noted the New York Times, “There was an element of ‘you first, no you first’ as General Petraeus went straight to the podium to assure the minister that he would ‘certainly be here’ for any “celebration of the delivery of the M1 Abrams tanks.”
Iraq’s cabinet has approved the deal allowing US troops to stay in Iraq for three more years, but it faces a tougher time in parliament. Supporters of anti-American cleric Moqtada al-Sadr marched in Baghdad against the agreement on Friday.
Jassim’s threat comes as parliament prepares to adjourn for the annual hajj pilgrimage on Wednesday. US officials have said they have no legal authorization to continue to operate in Iraq past Dec. 31 if the measure is not approved — a strange claim and seeming threat in itself since their presence never required a Iraqi legal mandate to begin with.

Notice how martial law, once an unmentionable, is being cited more frequently or being used as a threat! Does the threat really have anything to do with protection or simply to confuse, influence and control? Does the threat really have anything to do with reliance or simply creating anticipation and anxiety? It was enough to scare wimpy reps but will it be enough to scare anybody else. And if not, what then?

This whole “Martial Law” garbage is getting old. I would tell them no. You are illegal and unlawful invaders of a sovereign nation and if you want to threaten us, bring it on. Use your Martial Law. The Iraqi is being a traitor to his own people by not kicking out the US forces in December.
We should have never even been there. But you know, half the Americans still think Osama Bin Ladin is an Iraqi or some how tied to Iraq. They still believe we found weapons of mass destruction.
The US is a weapon of mass destruction. About all we are good for these days.
1) We cannot seem to implement a government on the laws set for us via the Constitution
2) We cannot seem to have a stable and sound money system
3) We cannot seem to provide our own people with health care, yet we can give billions to other countries
4) We cannot seem to lower the taxes we pay on real estate even though our homes have dropped in value. The opposite of course is a guarantee.
5) We cannot seem to provide a decent education for the young in the US, they tend to graduate more illiterate every given year.
What can the US do?
1) Well, we do well what we always have. Break laws both our own and internationally.
2) We are the best at bombing countries in the name of “War on Terror” and kill the same so called terrorist over and over in the news.
3) We are good at lying, manipulating, providing massive fraud, and killing off anyone whom has somthing we want.
4) We can not only destroy our own financial system, we can help all other countries suffer in our demise.
5) We can help pollute the planet to the point it will not be inhabitable. And do our best to be the leader in the field.
Americans are used to the lies, the truth isn’t anything they an handle.

Pearl Harbor and 911 have a direct PHYSICAL and corporate connection. In 1941 the founder of CDI controlled demolition inc was stationed in Pearl Harbor just after graduating from a highly religious new world order school in Chicago in 1940. As we all know there has never been a single test of the underside of any ship that was “bombed” in Pearl Harbor. Heard that before? CDI was seen before and after in OKCity during the bombing in 1995. NO testing of any kind was done following that “explosion” either. CDI was paid Billions to control, destroy, and guard all the waste from the OKCity explosions. On Sept 11th 2001, CDI was in NYC for days and weeks prior to 911 giving interviews and doing “work” inside the WTC’s 1,2, and 7 buildings. The Bush regime paid CDI $35 Billion dollars to remove, clean up, and DESTROY ever speck of evidence from ground zero without a SINGLE test for explosives. Sound familiar? (the steel from 911 never left the country. It went to CDI’s recently purchased smelting plant located just one hour outside NYC to be destroyed).
How did I find any of this information? I was researching accounts that a company called CDI was seen at the levee system in New Orleans one day after Katrina had left and may have been responsible for the levees detonations. No levees were ever tested for man-made explosives. Sound familiar? Anywhere CDI goes, NO testing follows. Fun to note that CDI wrote the NIST report for the 911 Commission that said NO controlled demolition was used in WTC’s 1,2,and 7. Finally, several posters on this site have asked the question, What was CDI doing inside the WTC’s 1 and 2 on Saturday Sept 8th and Sunday Sept 9th 2001? Interesting that EVERY SINGLE video camera that would have recorded their presence on those days in NYC have all been confiscated, turned off, powered off, or removed……

Since when has the Out House under Bush been the least bit concerned about whether ANYTHING is legal or not? The goat ropin’ weasel, Bush, has set it up so Osama Obama will just have troops parked there, eating/breathing/drinking depleted uranium for as long as it takes to just kill off anybody from this country who is of military age. Bush is in bed with too many very unsavorable characters, and this guy is one of ‘em; this business of ‘martial law unless – - -’ probably came up in the pillow talk. Building in rubble. several million dead and being told they face martial law if they don’t do what the forigen military wants.. No one is talking about it. it’s hardly on the news. He was shocked to realize that. He thought he was fighting for us and to find out nobody here cares was as big of blow to him as anything there. What the F–k was I there for? I’ve seen it before. He was still ready to fight, and dose once in a while. If a fight can’t be found. he rides bulls. His world is not the same as yours. Do you trent to stomp on the brakes while going down the highway when you see a tire nest to the road. drive into the mediam at 60mph. That’s why it’s not on the TV everyday. because they can’t let the masses know how bad it is over there.

Just who’s country is it anyway? I wouldn’t necessarily called this guy “IRAQ’s” defense minister. I would rather call him the U.S. defense minister in IRAQ masquerading as IRaq’s defense minister. What other conclusion can one come to when he is arguing vociferously for FOREIGN soldiers, who have already butchered millions, to stay in his country for 3 more years. And the scare mongering is eerily reminiscent to the way the DISTRICT of CORRUPTION spreads fear in the minds of AMericans. I thought we were bringing “freedom” in Iraq? A sinequanon of FREEDOM is SELF-DETERMINATION. Then again the U.S. government doesn’t even believe in national self-sufficiency for this country so what gives? I’m guessing that the true reason that this “defense minister” as well as U.S. militarists in D.C. are making the case for 3 more years is because an attack on Iran is somewhere not too far down the line. Iraq is of course right next door and is the perfect launching pad for an assault on the Iranians.

The worst part of all this is the fact, that this parliament will last just about as long as the Vietnamese goverment did once the USA started to leave about 2 weeks. The US Media still wants to pretend that the USA and their failed puppet goverment in Iraq have any say in whats going to happen once the USA starts withdrawing by next February.
This loss and the consequences in the region expect jORDAN AND Saudi Arabia and Kuwait to be jeopardised, thanks to George W. Bush and co.

I personally think this Mumbai attack was carried out by westerns from the get go and im as white as can be !!1 Its another way to scare you and maybe enforce more patrols for your safety..you know cops on bikes in pairs riding around everywhere! My grandmother died at 94 years of age , having lived in Germany prior to WW2 she said That America reminded her of Germany right before the war!
