Iraqi MPs wary of US-planned coup

Iraqi deputies voice concern over a US conspiracy to stage a coup in a bid to force Iraqi officials into signing a controversial security pact.
The coup aims to disturb security in the country and put authorities under pressure to sign the US-proposed deal, members of the Iraqi Parliament said, IRNA reported
The United States wants the so-called Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) signed before the end of US President George W. Bush’s term in office.
However, the pact has so far met with fierce opposition by the majority of lawmakers, whose approval is necessary for a final agreement.
Prior to sending the deal to the Parliament for approval, Iraqi government urged the US make some necessary amendments to the terms of the pact, but Washington has failed to make such amendments.
Apart from parliament approval the deal must be endorsed by the Iraqi cabinet and the Presidency Council.

Woh there fudge… now I agree with some of what you said but you kinda went off the deep end in IMO. It sounds to me like you have been drinking the global warming kool-aid. Don’t fall in to that trap. The US has been under siege for almost 100 years by the elite. WWI and II were not heroic efforts. This is where my journey toward the truth started. I wanted to find out what started WWII and then I decided I better start at the beginning. What I discovered was that it aaaaaaall started with the federal reserve act of 1913. War = $$$$$$$$ now that the FED has control of the money supply. I don’t like pollution and I don’t know anyone who does, but if we can get our country back and concentrate on that, the free market will decide what is best since it is run by the people. No more government subsidized industry like big oil. But we MUST stay on task and not be distracted by made up crises that are meant to not only confuse and divide us, but at the same time cause us to give our very freedoms away and allow them to set up a world government to deal with the supposed crisis.

The Iraq government are all marked for death, for coloberating with the invaders, the U.S. government. Its the almost the same thing as the Congress cowering in a fetal position when the same new world order thugs threatened them with martial law regarding the bail-out bill.
