If it hasn’t gone the way of Mussolini’s Italy and Hitler’s Germany, it’s sure teetering on the brink. America is a nation in deepening crisis, a nation whose leaders repeatedly plunge their citizens into, and make them pay for, serial wars abroad, while stealing their liberties at home. USA has become a country that trashes its citizens(New Orleans), tortures its enemies(Abu Ghraib), threatens other nations with nuclear fire(Iran), flouts international treaties(UN Charter re Iraq), and spies on(FISA), and intimidates, its critics(No Fly). Americans that can clearly see the totalitarian machinations of Vladimir Putin in Russia and Hu Jintao in China are blind to the fascism threatening to envelop them as well.
Webster’s defines fascism as “a totalitarian governmental system led by a dictator and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism, militarism, and often racism.” A comparison of 20th century fascist and communist regimes with President Bush’s USA indicates the machinery for a full-blown totalitarian takeover is now in place, even if no coup has occurred. As Naomi Wolf writes in “The End of America”(Chelsea Green)the 2007 Defense Authorization Bill’s Section 333 allows the president “to declare martial law and take charge of the National Guard troops without the permission of a governor when ‘public order’ has been lost…” and to “send the guard into our streets during a public health emergency, terrorist attack or ‘other condition.’”
The enabling crowbar was the Military Commissions Act of 2006. It gives the president authority to set up his own system for bringing alien combatants to trial while denying them protection of the Geneva Conventions. “The president and his lawyers now claim the authority to designate any American citizen he chooses as being an ‘enemy combatant,’” Wolf writes of power usurpation that characterized the post-World War One epoch in Europe and Asia.
Thus, Congress has empowered Bush just as Germany’s Reichstag empowered Hitler, Wolf writes, recalling Hitler’s boast, “Democracy will be overthrown with the tools of democracy.” Hitler’s Interior Minister issued Clause 2 that gave police the power to hold people in custody indefinitely and without a court order, powers the U.S. Congress today has conferred upon “The Decider” in the White House. Mussolini’s used the less grandiose “Il Duce” or “The Leader.”
According to Michael Ratner, director of the Center For Constitutional Rights, New York, “the president can…designate people enemy combatants and detain them for whatever reason he wants…there are no charges and prisoners have no lawyers, no family visits, no court reviews, no rights to anything, and no right to release until the mythical end to the ‘war on terror.’”
Wolf writes that dictators justify their usurpation of domestic liberties by raising the alarm of “terrorist” threats. Stalin, for example, used this very term in 1934 when he warned his public of a world-wide conspiracy by capitalists to overthrow the Soviet state. If there have been no mass arrests of native-born Americans it is only because the president has not chosen to exercise this authority. If you think it can’t happen to you, recall that in September of 2003 the Army arrested 36-year-old American-born Muslim chaplain James Yee, a West Point graduate, allegedly for “espionage and possibly treason”—but more likely for calling for better conditions for Gitmo inmates. Wolf wrote:
“He was blindfolded; his ears were blocked; he was manacled and then put into solitary confinement for 76 days; forbidden mail, television, or anything to read except the Koran. His family was not allowed to visit him. …His lawyers were told he would face execution. (But)Within six months, the U.S. government had dropped all criminal charges against Yee.” Yes, just as it has dropped charges against hundreds of Guantanamo prisoners earlier, men labeled by former Defense Secretary Rumsfeld as “the worst of the worst” but against the overwhelming majority of whom the Bush regime apparently had no case whatever!
The treatment Yee got is typical of those who run afoul of the Bush regime: torture first, trial after…if there is a trial. And since his release, Yee has been denied his free speech right to discuss his ordeal—gagged by the Pentagon. Perhaps most incredible, even if a Guantanamo prisoner should be found innocent, the Pentagon says he might not be released anyway. This echoes Stalin’s practice of re-arresting Gulag prisoners after they had done their time. At one point, Stalin had eight million souls behind bars, even exceeding President Bush, currently the world’s Incarcerator-In-Chief.
Author Wolf says another danger flag is the creation of paramilitary groups, “aggressive men who have no clear, accountable relationship to the government or the party seeking power…” Mussolini had the blackshirts; Hitler the brownshirts; but whatever their dress, they were thugs. Wolf says that Moycock, N.C.-based Blackwater Worldwide stands ready “to deploy its unaccountable private army (35,000 men) in the U.S.—in the aftermath of natural disasters, and also in cases of ‘national emergency.’” With at least a half billion dollars in government contracts, “Blackwater is the world’s largest private security force, works closely with Halliburton, and is available for action outside the scrutiny of Congress,” Wolf writes. The outfit raked in $73 million for patrolling the streets of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. And Blackwater subcontractor Red Tactica, recruits former Chilean commandos,” men described by one Chilean sociologist that are “valued for their expertise in kidnapping, torturing and killing defenseless civilians,” Wolf wrote.
Besides creating such “security” forces, dictators create secret prisons, as Bush has done, ranging from prison ships in the Indian Ocean to dungeons in Poland, where they can hide them from Red Cross scrutiny, as the CIA has done. “We should worry about the men held at Guantanamo because history shows that stripping prisoners of their rights is intoxicating not only to leaders but to functionaries at every level of society,” Wolf writes. “Gitmo” is also an interrogation camp, an operation “that is completely and flatly illegal” and outlawed by the Geneva Conventions in 1949, she points out. Stalin also employed torture and in 1937 actually legalized its use in Soviet prisons. When he received his infamous “albums” with the names of those to be executed and imprisoned, next to some names he often wrote: “Beat! Beat! Beat!” And only months after taking power, Hitler “established a network of illegitimate prisons where torture took place” and where guards could murder inmates with “no chance of being punished,” Wolf said. And like Stalin, The Decider has signaled his henchmen beatings are now the American Way.

Dont just look at the Republicans. The Democrats are working harder and longer hours to drive us faster into being Fascists. We are all too hung up on bashing Republicans that we let the Left slip.
The brown shirt with an RNC patch should be standing next to a brown shirt with a donkey or “O” patch on his shirt as well.

I’m sorry – did it really have to be asked? Is America Fascist? Seriously, people who are capable of thinking actually have to ask?
October 21st, 2008 at 1:02 pm
If you have to ask…
October 21st, 2008 at 1:13 pm
Things are bad, but I think these words and connotations are thrown about too easily: Communist, Marxist, Socialist, Fascist, Capitalist. If you ask me I think they were all elitists experiments to see how to control the masses and to retain power the most efficiently. As the first decade of the twenty first century unfolds, I think you’ll find the New World Order is all those things and much more and less. They have infiltrated everything up to and including Financing, Commerce, and Political Movements. The left and right youth movements on Ivy League Campuses to the dope sold on street corners in impoverished, gang ridden hellhole, USA. The elitists tie it all together with multi-national corporation, international intelligence apparatus, private foundations, and finally us on the ground, who are whisked away, in their traps, fed into the meat-grinder all the same, whether it’s smoke and mirrors, or plagues and terrors.
The country is being divided and radicalized. All of it is suspect. This supposed Corporate awakening in the Green Movement, supporting all these environmentalist groups being basically indoctrinated and molded to fit FBI domestic terrorist profiles. It’s all feeding the machine, every day they chip away a little more. These people and I use the term loosely are sly foxes, hell the liberty movement has woken enough people, you know they got plans for us and boots on the ground. They’ll try to join us before they fight us. Most of you underestimate the powers that be . How do you think they’ve endured, but every free society to ever spring up in the last three hundred years hasn’t? I think alot of the 9/11 Truth Movement is just plain blanket disinfo. I agree those buildings didn’t come down in their own footprints at free fall speed without help, but as far as I can tell, alot of it has been repudiated by the powers that be. We’re being set up, and I’m not so sure that we haven’t become a contingency plan. 9/11 truth has been tied into the Patriot movement, and the Liberty movement, and all these little sub-groups are sprouting up, it’s a house of cards. They alread bombed a recruitment center and tried to blame it on us. One good blackmail or infiltration and it’s over, the masses are applauding as we’re carted off into rendition or institutionalized. If you have ever said anything that could be interrupted an anti-government, on the phone, or internet, or hate to say it in public, then your house is probably bugged or in the least your on a list of people to watch and they are building a psychological profile on you, and if you think they don’t have the time and the resources to chase ghosts, your fooling yourself. Take a look at the activist groups of the sixties including The Weather Underground, who were a bunch of lefty college kids, till the government taught them how to build bombs, or least taught them how to blow one up in their own faces. Trust nobody, including me, or say somebody running a nationally syndicated radio show, who can be targeted regardless of how clean they think they are. Treachery is just that, I think they will make something go off in one of our faces, before it’s said and done. They will not let things go too far without a patsy or two to squarely lay the ills of the nation on.

We the people aren’t fascist but defintely the REPUBLI-CRATS are! I’ve worked with Cubans, Russians and Ukranian immigrants and they all hated their communist leaders just as much as we can’t stand our own leaders. It’s never the people that are the problem it’s the a-holes in charge.

Well I got on the Show today and already talked about this but I will again…We aren’t moving toward Socialism its Corparate Fascism…Something Mussolini once said “Fascism and Corparatism are the same thing”.
October 21st, 2008 at 1:25 pm
Everyone in America should take a year-long trip down a third world country, then come back and tell me if you think America is still as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Especially everyone who posts on this website. Go to Zimbabwe, where the inflation rate is like 250 million percent, then come back and let me know how much you still hate America. We have it SO good here, where we don’t have to worry about not eating dinner tonight, and where we don’t have to worry about selling ourselves or our children into slavery for money.

This article is wrong. The one good thing about it is that it is totally wrong. And it is an important distinction to understand. The menace to the world is International Communism. Not fascism.
Fascism is a reaction to communist takeover attempts, which are accomplished by subversions like changing the definitions of words and confusing the conversations of people. Both Hitler and Mussolini were “fascists. They fought communism. Both the United States and England were on the side of the communists in WW2, and they still are. That’s why the US is in favor of international banks, international press releases, and international corporations. The United States is in favor of multi-culturism and against “racism”. These are the results of communist subversion. The United States government is in favor of the United Nations, which is a communist organization.
If the US government were fascist, you would see our borders protected, all possible economic protections in place. There would be no non-white immigration allowed at all. The truth about races would be taught in schools. There would be no inter-racial marriages allowed. Homosexuality would be a crime. None of this is happening, and so the article is dead wrong.
If the US was ever a “fascist” country, it began to slip into communism in the 1950s. At that time, “What’s good for General Motors is good for the USA” was the mentality. Look at the way things are now. Nationalism is somehow ‘too old and idea” and our Constitution is no more.
Communists hate fascists and National Socialists. They want a one world communist government complete with world dictator and totalitarian police state.

RC, if you’re so content with allowing people’s hand on your pocketbooks, how about giving me some money? I’ll use it to: abort babies, drop 5,000lbs. bombs on citizens, develop chemical and biological weapons, snoop on you and your neighbors, create more legislation, create more legislation, create more legislation, create more legislation, create more legislation, create more legislation, create more legislation, create more legislation, create more legislation, create more legislation, create more legislation, create more legislation, create more legislation, create more legislation, create more legislation, create more legislation, create more legislation, create more legislation, etc.
Don’t come into my house, crap on the floor and say, “If you think it’s so bad – you should see how rough the have it across the stree.”
Don’t steal my money and say, “You should see how bad I ripped off your neighbor!”
Don’t jerk my around and say, “Quit crying, others have it so much worse.”
Don’t piss down my back and tell me it’s raining.

we’ll win says (Comment #12) That’s called “divide and conquer.” Often the “enemy” doesn’t even have to participate. Humans are all too quick to do it to themselves. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. We are caught up in history’s great story. Take the advice of the people you hear on Alex’s show (and other Patriot Radio sources) and survive. And do not fear. Fear is for the unsaved.

I ordered Wolfs new book and Ron Pauls “Revolution a manifesto” it should be in by Thursday.
October 21st, 2008 at 3:12 pm
#13 is almost 100% correct.
I would add that America is now mostly Fascist, with the roots of Communism coming unfurled.
Facism is by the state, for the state, and although they are two different things, I would venture to say you could integrate both into a government. a Communist market and a Fascist type of government structure (ie a tyrant, dictator, oligarchy, etc).
Communism in itself speaks mainly about the way goods and materials–the market– are produced and owned (publically), while Fascism deals with the way–more or less–a government is run (as Aristotle commented, it would be a “perverted” form of government, but nonetheless, still existent by means of a despotism)
The idea that because we arent banning homosexuality, not allowing non-whites into our country, etc, is a false, and correct way to perceive Fascism. Correct in historical terms, as it is what Hitler did during his time in Fascist Germany. But it is false in the thinking that because we arent exhibiting these things now, it doesnt mean it is not true (a state of false consciousness), because there are bigger elements to Fasicsm than just what you mentioned to describe it.
I would say that eventually, the two become one, since their ideals end up meeting at one point.
Fascism preaches security in exchange for everything, Communism–especially in the Communist Manifesto, where Marx elaborates on borders and soverignty being bourgeois ways of holding people down, and in essense, craves for the creation of a one world government, and even says that explicitly–preaches an egalitarian and utopian state of equality where people are tricked into the belief that they are free.
The two have the same result in the end: people becoming slaves to the people that control them.

Maybe you don’t have to worry about those things. #16 is right that’s a pretty convenient ‘us and them’ mentality to have. I personally know people that are completely losing their lives right now, including the possibility of nutritional deficiencies or losing a proper shelter for their children. Most people in third worlds have food and shelter too, they just don’t have enough of it to go around. You’ll figure it out, when you ‘lucky ones’ start getting sick, or worse from the rising tide of ‘have nots’ on the streets who have become social petri dishes for vices and disease, that and decades of soft kill weapons. Class warfare is real, and it stems from a lack of compassion in the ruling class that spawns from the very primordial ooze of beginnings as a society. The remnants of our primitive, animalistic ancestors who vied for territory and lived in small hierarchical clans, with a ruthless sense of pack animal predation. I know what side of the tracks I came from, we were lucky enough to live in the country, and if it wasn’t for white tailed deer, we probably wouldn’t of been eating too well in the winter months some years. That was back in the eighties, when turtleneck yuppies thought the sky was the limit, the excuse back then was if poor people didn’t have food it was because they spent all their money on crack. Nothings changed except the fashion styles. Say what you really mean: Poor people aren’t worthy of life, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness, nor does that ‘class’ and the work they are pursuant of with their meager educations and low skills, merit them sustainability; after all, being lesser people, we should be happy we weren’t aborted by our whore mothers. Your right I’m ungrateful.

#12 I’m not competing with third World countries I just want my Government to uphold their Oath To uphold and protect the U.S. Constitution from enemies foreign and domestic! I’m sick of people like you telling me I should appreciate being betrayed by my own Elected Officials, and then comparing them to thugs and dictators in third world countries! This is America not Zimbabwe! The American people hopefully will wake up and not lick the boots of their oppressors like Zimbabwe! God save the Republic!
October 21st, 2008 at 6:21 pm
There are plenty of people in this country who worry about whether or not they will have a meal tonight. There are many homeless here. It’s willful ignorance to say otherwise.
Selling your children into slavery is not an option – they are already born slaves (as are we), as they are born with an obligation to pay back the debt of previous generations.

This is the last stand for satan. This system will grow and do it’s skulldoggery until a moment when God gives the kingdom to his saints. Then will be ushered in a Golden age where truth and justice and prosperity is the norm. The last seven years of rebellion against God will be bad but it will be broken. If your hope is not in these words then you are in grave danger of being one of the losers. Begin a walk of trusting God today. BFS

I am moving against constitutionalism. I think it is becoming something that is extremely dangerous for this country. I think we should return to condeferalism. I think america will move into a constitutional totalitarian state with a mixe of nazism, communism, fascism and hardline feudalist society.

Fascism can be in many forms. Firstly why would the Government be cracking down on Homosexuals if the elites male leaders are practicing that at Bohemian Grove? Hitler cracked down on minorities and political dissidents. Corporate America is a world wide structure so the dissidents are all over the world and the minorities are all over the world. Remember, all Fascist regimes have been different.

The great majority of Americans are patriotic and believe in the Constitution and Bill of Rights … there are definatley elitist people and forces (NWO) that are openly subversive/destructive to our freedoms and our way of life … they have/are systematically socially reengineering the U.S. and the World to their delusional visions … freedom loving people of the world unite against the NWO we will write history !!

America is Neofascist…heavily based on the traditional fascism with some new ideas melted in. Plain and simple. The fact that powers that be place the empire above the republic, “interests” above needs and the establishment above the people makes it so; And the dumbed-down masses truly believe that fighting for Americanism is the same as fighting for America.
October 22nd, 2008 at 8:54 am
can someone explain why pseudo diversity should trump organic unity? Why should xenophobia be policy? Does Earth need governments to enforce its natural barriers so that the haves can deprive the have nots? Ya dont fear the aliens because there arent any. We’re all on the same boat.
October 22nd, 2008 at 9:12 am
Much of what’s happening is for the most part ‘The people’s ” fault. Those who are too stupid, too ignorant and too lazy when it comes to voting and paying attention to the workings of the government. Many people I know vote the way they do because their daddy did so. They vote blindly, without any forethought or reasoning. Is it any wonder the state of affairs in America are worse than ever? Yes Americans have been dumbed down, but with a little effort, and that’s all it takes, people can educate themselves enough to realize they’ve been sold out. It’s too bad though, that far too many people just sit on their ass and believe whatever they’re told by the government propagandists on the boob tube.
They may believe they are being great patriots by obeying the government, yet they support those who are destroying the very foundations of a free society. They welcome it, as they are convinced it will bring about safety and order. Many people I know are very closed minded, you just can’t get through to them at all. The very people they voted for have betrayed them and they stll haven’t been able to accept the fact. will they ever wake up? I doubt it. They are too blockheaded too learn.
When it comes to government, we sometimes get what we deserve. Unfortunately the chickens have come home to roost and know we are all in for a long struggle.
October 22nd, 2008 at 10:07 am
Blah…Blah….Blah….
I have to say at the outset that I am a Kucinich Democrat.
The stinking sad truth is most Americans are stupid slobs who do what they are told. If you were to read the Bill of Rights or the Declaration of Independence to the average American, not only would they not recognize it, they would probably call you a terrorist. Jefferson said we have the right and duty to replace OR OVERTHROW a repressive government. The people are the soverign in this land.
You are damn right Mr. Ross, America IS Fascist. If anyone has any doubt, there are many good books on the subject and one of the best is Fascism and Big Busines by Daniel Guerin.
Unless and until we become mature, responcible and thoughtful human beings, we remain food for the illegitimate.

Mr. Jones is one of the best leaders in the patriot movement. If you have ever heard him on his radio program, (info wars.com) you would have heard him call evangelicals, “phony Christians” because 95% of evangelicals are not aware or involved in the patriot movement, which is all about exposing evil, especially government corruption, bringing the nation back under the US Constitution and Bill of Rights, and slowing down the New World order. Well, the thing that Mr. Jones doesn’t understand is, that evangelicals are real Christians but they have a spiritual veil over their eyes like the Jews have in not being able to see Jesus is Messiah (2Cor.3:14-15). So he doesn’t realize that our salvation in based on accepting Christ as Lord and Savior and then doing the basics. For an example, the reason why I know Alex isn’t saved yet, is because he said he drinks beer, and he still curses, (as he did in American Dictators), he’s double-minded, (James 1:8), some times he says we’re winning and at times he says the globalist are winning. He gives very few solutions on how to fight the N.W.O. when the Bible has all the solutions. He actually believes we can win against the N.W.O. when bible prophecy makes it clear that it will lead into the anti-Christ era, and only until Christ returns will we (real) Christians win. We can only slow the N.W.O. down. He pays taxes which is idolatry for real Christians, he believes it’s ok to work on Sunday (not keeping the Sabbath as the Bible states, Exodus 20:8&10 and so many other scriptures), hence the Sunday radio program and working on his films when the Bible makes it clear that Sunday is for attending church, resting, and hang-in with the family. So it is true the evangelicals are not doing their job in fulfilling Ephesians 5:11 (NIV) but the evidence of Mr. Jones not being born-again is Colossians 1:18. One who is truly born-again can’t have a four hour radio program and not talk about the Bible and Jesus. His excuse is that his show is a political one, but that’s nonsense because the Bible addresses political matters along with the spiritual matters. Therefore, he will go down in history as the greatest patriot of all times, but will end up losing his soul. Mark 8:36, (NIV).
