Is an International Financial Conspiracy Driving World Events?

Was Alan Greenspan really as dumb as he looks in creating the late housing bubble that threatens to bring the entire Western debt-based economy crashing down?
Was something as easy to foresee as this really the trigger for a meltdown that could destroy the world’s financial system? Or was it done, perhaps, "accidentally on purpose"?
And if so, why?
Let’s turn to the U.S. personage that conspiracy theorists most often mention as being at the epicenter of whatever elite plan is reputed to exist. This would be David Rockefeller, the 92-year-old multibillionaire godfather of the world’s financial elite.
The lengthy Wikipedia article on Rockefeller provides the following version of a celebrated statement he allegedly made in an opening speech at the Bilderberg conference in Baden-Baden, Germany, in June 1991:
"We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time magazine, and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during these years. But the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government which will never again know war, but only peace and prosperity for the whole of humanity. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in the past centuries."
This speech was made 17 years ago. It came at the beginning in the U.S. of the Bill Clinton administration. Rockefeller speaks of an "us." This "us," he says, has been having meetings for almost 40 years. If you add the 17 years since he gave the speech it was 57 years ago—two full generations.
Not only has "us" developed a "plan for the world," but the attempt to "develop" the plan has evidently been successful, at least in Rockefeller’s mind. The ultimate goal of "us" is to create "the supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers." This will lead, he says, toward a "world government which will never again know war."
Just as an intellectual exercise, let’s assume that David Rockefeller is as important and powerful a person as he seems to think he is. Let’s give the man some credit and assume that he and "us" have in fact succeeded to a degree. This would mean that the major decisions and events since Rockefeller gave the speech in 1991 have probably also been part of the plan or that they have at least represented its features and intent.
Therefore by examining these decisions and events we can determine whether in fact Rockefeller is being truthful in his assessment that the Utopia he has in mind is on its way or has at least come closer to being realized. In no particular order, some of these decisions and events are as follows:

The implementation of the North American Free Trade Agreement by the Bill Clinton and George W. Bush administrations has led to the elimination of millions of U.S. manufacturing jobs as well as the destruction of U.S. family farming in favor of global agribusiness.
Similar free trade agreements, including those under the auspices of the World Trade Organization, have led to export of millions of additional manufacturing jobs to China and elsewhere.
Average family income in the U.S. has steadily eroded while the share of the nation’s wealth held by the richest income brackets has soared. Some Wall Street hedge fund managers are making $1 billion a year while the number of homeless, including war veterans, pushes a million.
The housing bubble has led to a huge inflation of real estate prices in the U.S. Millions of homes are falling into the hands of the bankers through foreclosure. The cost of land and rentals has further decimated family agriculture as well as small business. Rising property taxes based on inflated land assessments have forced millions of lower-and middle-income people and elderly out of their homes.
The fact that bankers now control national monetary systems in their entirety, under laws where money is introduced only through lending at interest, has resulted in a massive debt pyramid that is teetering on collapse. This "monetarist" system was pioneered by Rockefeller-family funded economists at the University of Chicago. The rub is that when the pyramid comes down and everyone goes bankrupt the banks which have been creating money "out of thin air" will then be able to seize valuable assets for pennies on the dollar, as J.P. Morgan Chase is preparing to do with the businesses owned by Carlyle Capital. Meaningful regulation of the financial industry has been abandoned by government, and any politician that stands in the way, such as Eliot Spitzer, is destroyed.
The total tax burden on Americans from federal, state, and local governments now exceeds forty percent of income and is rising. Today, with a recession starting, the Democratic-controlled Congress, while supporting the minuscule "stimulus" rebate, is hypocritically raising taxes further, even for middle-income earners. Back taxes, along with student loans, can no longer be eliminated by bankruptcy protection.
Gasoline prices are soaring even as companies like Exxon-Mobil are recording record profits. Other commodity prices are going up steadily, including food prices, with some countries starting to experience near-famine conditions. 40 million people in America are officially classified as "food insecure."
Corporate control of water and mineral resources has removed much of what is available from the public commons, and the deregulation of energy production has led to huge increases in the costs of electricity in many areas.
The destruction of family farming in the U.S. by NAFTA (along with family farming in Mexico and Canada) has been mirrored by policies toward other nations on the part of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank. Around the world, due to pressure from the "Washington consensus," local food self-sufficiency has been replaced by raising of crops primarily for export. Migration off the land has fed the population of huge slums around the cities of underdeveloped countries.
Since the 1980s the U.S. has been fighting wars throughout the world either directly or by proxy. The former Yugoslavia was dismembered by NATO. Under cover of 9/11 and by utilizing off-the-shelf plans, the U.S. is now engaged in the military conquest and permanent military occupation of the Middle East. A worldwide encirclement of Russia and China by U.S. and NATO forces is underway, and a new push to militarize space has begun. The Western powers are clearly preparing for at least the possibility of another world war.
The expansion of the U.S. military empire abroad is mirrored by the creation of a totalitarian system of surveillance at home, whereby the activities of private citizens are spied upon and tracked by technology and systems which have been put into place under the heading of the "War on Terror." Human microchip implants for tracking purposes are starting to be used. The military-industrial complex has become the nation’s largest and most successful industry with tens of thousands of planners engaged in devising new and better ways, both overt and covert, to destroy both foreign and domestic "enemies."
Meanwhile, the U.S. has the largest prison population of any country on earth. Plus everyday life for millions of people is a crushing burden of government, insurance, and financial fees, charges, and paperwork. And the simplest business transactions are burdened by rake-offs for legions of accountants, lawyers, bureaucrats, brokers, speculators, and middlemen.
Finally, the deteriorating conditions of everyday life have given rise to an extraordinary level of stress-related disease, as well as epidemic alcohol and drug addiction. Governments themselves around the world engage in drug trafficking. Instead of working to lower stress levels, public policy is skewed in favor of an enormous prescription drug industry that grows rich off the declining level of health through treatment of symptoms rather than causes. Many of these heavily-advertised medications themselves have devastating side-effects.
This list should at least give us enough to go on in order to ask a hard question. Assuming again that all these things are parts of the elitist plan which Mr. Rockefeller boasts to have been developing, isn’t it a little strange that the means which have been selected to achieve "peace and prosperity for the whole of humanity" involve so much violence, deception, oppression, exploitation, graft, and theft?
In fact it looks to me as though "our plan for the world" is one that is based on genocide, world war, police control of populations, and seizure of the world’s resources by the financial elite and their puppet politicians and military forces.
In particular, could there be a better way to accomplish all this than what appears to be a concentrated plan to remove from people everywhere in the world the ability to raise their own food? After all, genocide by starvation may be slow, but it is very effective. Especially when it can be blamed on "market forces."
And can it be that the "us" which is doing all these things, including the great David Rockefeller himself, are just criminals who have somehow taken over the seats of power? If so, they are criminals who have done everything they can to watch their backs and cover their tracks, including a chokehold over the educational system and the monopolistic mainstream media.
One thing is certain: The voters of America have never knowingly agreed to any of this.

David Rockefeller has done well so far with his cohort elites, but he/they are going to find out that they cannot micromanage enough people to make their whole scheme come to fruition. They will succeed in creating chaos. This chaos will awaken people to establish order, but it will not be a new world order because they will equate the chaos with this new world order. Instead, people will put things back to order based on individual responsibility and sovereign nationhood. You have to be retarded to work while someon watches you, then pay that person part of your wages. I don’t think that Rockefeller meant for as much chaos to occur as he is getting from his plan. That is generally what happens when too many people are in on the take. There really isn’t any honor among thieves.

All of this was conspired and perpetrated well before GW took office. Finally……having Ben Bernanke as Fed Chairman is like having Harriet Meyers as a Supreme Court Justice. Up until Bernanke’s crimes during Katrina, he was simply a financial “advisor” to GWBush. 6 months later he is the Fed Chairman. The financial crimes Bernanke committed during Katrina have NEVER been brought to light. To recap….what crimes are the Bush’s good at? Real estate, war, drugs, incarcerations, pharma, law/law enforcement, and oil. That just about sums it up what we have seen over the last 8 years.

Hey People, maybe its time to accelerate the process. The economy is going down. My solution is use your credit cards, buy tangible stuff like gold, guns, ammo and food. Max out your cards and only pay the minimum. Don’t buy from the big corporations especially Wallmart. Wallmart’s new slogan is ” Save Money Live Better” that was thought up years ago. Don’t fall for the democracy and free elections crap. We need to organize a day where we can all run or cars out of gas on the highway and really mess up the transportation system. I would rather this thing just crash and burn than drag on. The faster it happens the sooner rebuilding can begin.

Just 8 years ago we, my spouse and I, were playing the game. Credit Cards, 2 vehicle payments, big mortgage, and ran the rat race. We had no clue about how we were being scammed. Then the market crashed and we were financially hurled into left field. We were never taught to save, we had never seen hard times before. We both lived in this bubble taught to us by our parents who had government jobs that were recession proof. For years we were secretly being told by the media, and everyone else around us that lived the same bulls--- lie, that we had to have this, or we had to have that.
We’ll in 2003 we found ourselves homeless, we hit rock bottom. And after we gathered ourselves up, and dusted off our clothes; we finally realized what had happened to us. We saw how we had been used up, chewed up, and spit out by the system. In 2005 I heard Alex Jones speak on a station here in Austin TX for the first time, and what he said made sense. It was like all of the dots finally connected.
Since then we have strived to preserve our freedom. We now only have basic cable, who needs TV it’s all propagated garbage anyway. We live on one income, our kids are home schooled and loved, we carry no credit cards, only have one very used vehicle payment, we have a garden comprised of heirloom seed vegetables (ask for heirloom seed at Home Depot and they’ll look at you like your from Mars), our current project is a solar water heating system (quite an education for the kiddos); most of all our main priority is getting off the grid because we know what is coming. We even have a used travel trailer that can house us anywhere we need to go just in case it gets so bad that we have to leave. I refuse to spend the rest of our lives enslaved, nor do I want to teach my children how to be slaves; I love my God given freedom.
So for those of you making fun of ol’ Alex Jones, take a good hard look into that Iphone and see just how deeply enslaved you are. And when you can’t buy bread at the grocery store because the trucks couldn’t afford the gas to deliver it, or because it costs as much as you make in week all of a sudden (hyperinflation) you can thank all the powers that be for putting you in a position to starve. The only enemy we have is the International Banksters! They stole our(USA) sovereignty in 1913 when they pushed through the Federal Reserve Act(during the Christmas holiday when most politicians were already gone for the holiday), and we gave our printing presses to them so they could print our money and then charge us interest to use it. Why is your name in ALL capital letters on your driver’s license, your bank statement, and on all documents that come from any government agency? If you don’t know, then learn that is the “strawman” that was created by the government to make you a corporation so they could tax you! Do you ever sign your name is ALL capital letters? That is NOT the real you. It is totally a fictitious entity, and you need to get rid of that entity and make yourself a sovereign person once again. Look up a book written by Mary Croft, and you can learn more about this. It’s great information. They(the Banksters) want to own the world. But we DO NOT have to just hand it over to them. Do you think you own your house, or your car. No, you don’t. You are only being allowed to use them. All original titles are held by the government, because they own YOUR NAME(all capital letters). We as the majority of the human species we must seek education and to educate others, we must once and for all of history cut away this cancerous growth, the elite as we call them. When I say educate I don’t mean expensive collage that is now a days no longer an institute for higher learning, that is for the exception of the more fiscally fortunate of the populous, and is now an industry of indoctrination of sex, football, clep tests and is mostly a popularity contest. Most young people will happily assimilate themselves into any institution so long as they can stave off having to participate in the minimal of personal thought which comes with truly standing on your own two feet for a few years. Learn to be an autodidactic and stop your pity fighting over minor trivial ideological beliefs and unite, no more us and them, just us and no more them and we, just we. Help plant the seeds of dissent, and a wave of indignation and sedition will grow exponentialy, if we want it to. Know that even if you believe that those around you are un-saveable, willfully ignorant, and partially lobotomized sheeple that what ever you tell them or show them can never be unseen or unheard. We have to get the truth out of our heads and out of our blogs, out of this cabal and into the collective consciousness. We must make it part of the lexicon. I find humor is the easiest and least abrasive way to do this and because only with due respect and dignity (remember we all have feelings and most of us are still completely sensory creatures running from pain to pleasure) can we hope to get the average “GOOD’ citizen to begin to rebel mentally then the logical next step is a conscious action. great article, the only things missing is the bogus “war on drugs” instigated with Nancy Reagan on the podium with “just say no!” that reverse advertized the drugs for sale which were mainly imported by then vice president GHWB’s CIA (iran/contra, mena arkansas, etc.). the exponential growth of corporate run “privatized” prisons began in Texas with GWB as govornor (surprised?)
we not only have been taken off the gold standard, which placed our economy’s greatness onto our productive capacity that has now been removed (much by corporate welfare grants to companies refusing to meet EPA standards so they can leave US unemployed and polluting elsewhere -is both economic and environmental treason!)… we now also have 1% of the people behind bars (3 million) at an average cost of 50,000 per inmate per year, 3 million x 50,000 = 1.5 trillion per year for the last 15 years at least. 37 of 50 states are contracting out slave-wage inmate labor to corporations, so if 2/3 of the inmates are working this is 2 million production jobs deprived to the public. the violent criminals are released to keep a threat upon the public, with the excuse that the jails are full -we need more money to build more jails! the non-violent are kept as long as possible for compliant free labor.
this illegal war in the middle east is costing us a lot yes, in money/debt as well as reputation with the war crimes being comitted with the scorched earch genocidal policy of using depleted uranium munitions, and mercenary outfits like Blackwater, but it hasn’t cost us nearly as much as the “war on drugs” and its politics of drugs and slavery. the business of locking people up, is NOT productive, and neither is a spy vs. spy Orwellian “police state” that we never asked for.

Hi all, This might be the last thing I ever post on here but I need to warn you all. I have been with LAPD for a while and have learned alot of things. One of them is to be a little more independent. Don’t put 100 % faith in other humans to take care of you. And yes that means the government 2. Well because things have gotten so bad in LA (Officers being shot at up 39 % in 2007) I decided to move to Idaho. And I love it by the way. Anyway what I’m going to say might shock you or even scare you, but please understand that fear does nothing but makes things worse kinda like stress. So instead of worrying do something to fix it. Remember there’s no problems only solutions. This morning I got a call from my uncle who is very high up in the military and he told me to leave the city now. I hardly ever talk to him so he was unaware that I had already left LA. But he seemed very concerned but refused to tell me why. After about 20 minutes he told me the very basics. The first thing he said was to buy as much can food and water as possible. The second was to stock up on ammo. I have already stacked up on ammo because I knew it would become very expensive later and in LA there was a 1 year wait for .223 bullets for my AR15. But I was still very confused as to why he’s calling out of the blue and telling me these things. Well what he said next is something the american people aren’t suppose to know. He told me that there is an actual plan as to when the economy will completely crash. As of right now he said it will happen in the middle of sept of this year. Also he said that our Government will crash in Feb of 2009. He said that Mexico and Canada will merge with us and that a new dollar called the Amero is going to replace the dollar. But the most scary thing is what he told me he’s been doing for the past couple of years. He’s been overseeing the construction of Prison Camps being built all through out America. He said a Private company called Haliburton is building them. He told me that 1 camp in Alaska can hold 2 million people and there’s almost 1000 camps in the USA. ( not including the ones underground) He also said that these will be used when they declare Martial Law. There’s some more things but I promised him I would never repeat them. But just knowing that this could even be possible makes me say to myself ” why not buy an extra 20 or 30 bucks of food I can store” each time I go shopping. I had about 2 weeks worth because in California you never know when that next big earthquake can hit not to mention the last year and a half we have been training on how to handle food riots in LA.( By the way the first step in the LAPD process is to stand back and observe) <Crazy Huh. Well use common sense and get what you can because once everyone wakes up it will be to late. Last but not least why I believe him is because he is the same one that told me beforehand not to fly in Aug and Sept of 2001 Do I have to go on ? Take care everyone and GOD Bless !!!

This is a good article, but I must add a few comments:
1) The WTO and NAFTA have nothing to do with “free” trade, and everything to do with regional and global governance by shifting trade policies away from the control of individual nation-states and transferring them to regional and global bureacracies. This is managed trade at the highest levels.
2) The author rightly condemns the globalists’ move toward merger of big government and big, corporate businesses (that which is known as fascism/corporatism) but still wants to blame ‘deregulation’ for high energy costs when actually there has never been any deregulation of the energy industry. The State has always maintained its heavy-handed involvement in the energy industry, as well as most everything else, and when the spotlight falls once again on its rising costs, they clamor for more government regulations! And more regulation costs are passed to us consumers! The only time the Power Elite “deregulates” anything is when one of its corporate allies falls into financial disarray, then it is usually quite temporary and only used to benefit fellow members of “The Club”. The problem has always been totalitarian and centralized government, and when it grows, it feeds, nutures and expands its corporate sidekick’s power base as well. The middle level and small business owners never receive such benefits as federal government subsidies like the sweetheart fedgov deals that Boeing and Lockheed and other corporations can garner! (No one should receive subsidies! It is unethical. Moreover, Fedgov controls that which it subsidizes.) And small and mid-sized businesses have the hardest time following the expensive costs of government regulations, which harms their ability to compete in the market, for big corporations can afford such fedgov mandates and often lobby in favor of regulations since it eliminates their competition. Remember, David Rockefeller’s grandfather John D. Rockefeller hated free enterprise by famously remarking that “Competition is a sin”!
