Russia preparing for war doesn’t sound so farfetched these days and with this recent news of them building a robot that can scale walls, one would think Russia is actually ready for it.
The Russian army has recently introduced the MRP 300, a 2-meter long robot that boasts of its capabilities of carrying hundreds of kilos worth of equipment for rescue missions and can run up to 25 km/h.
What caught the public’s eye though is that these robots can also be used in a potential war and to combat natural disasters. For instance, the MRP 300 has the ability to climb walls. According to The Mirror, it can scale up to 1.5 m of a vertical wall. Its tracks can also cross through swamps, snow and sand.
