Islamist militants fighting for ISIS in Syria and Iraq are expected to be added to a United Nations list of possible war crimes indictees.

According to AFP, Paulo Pinheiro, who is chief of the UN Commission of Inquiry on Syria, said that evidence against ISIS would be easy to collect as “there are indications of a strong chain of command.”

He added: “They are good candidates for the list.

“I can assure you that we are collecting information on perpetrators from all sides including non-state armed groups and ISIS.
