It Felt like “Martial Law” in Los Angeles!

In my life I have never seen anything like this! My niece got married today. The Wedding festivities ended at midnight. On my way home on the opposite side of the #60 freeway going into Downtown L. A. I see very large trucks w/flashing lights – about 25 to 30 – lined up to form a single-file line for cars to follow to be stopped by at least 2 dozen police! This is on a 5-lane freeway, mind you!
Thousands of cars and thousands of unsuspecting people are experiencing for the first time in their lives, the full impact of what a police state is all about this morning, folks! The freeway looks like a parking lot!
As I transitioned to the northbound Golden State Frwy, aka the #5 Freeway, which starts at the Canadian border and runs through Washington State, through Oregon and all the way through California to the Mexican border, just before I get to downtown L. A. on my side of the freeway I see the same thing in the distance. Again, lots of trucks w/flashing lights and tons of cars stopping ahead of me to be herded to the checkpoint.

So, I quickly and fortunately got off at the very next offramp and tried to get on, again, further up the road. However, there were several arrows on the streets for people to follow – seemingly to take you on a detour to another on ramp – but, no; they only led to more check points!
Because I know my city like the back of my hand, I managed to evade the check points by going through neighborhood streets until I could finally get back onto the freeway some distance beyond the checkpoint. I live in Burbank and I couldn’t get onto the northbound Golden State Frwy until I passed Griffith park which is about 3 to 4 miles beyond where the check point started on the freeway on my side (about 6 to 7 miles from where I first noticed the check point on the opposite side of the freeway!)
Every single one of those 3 to 4 miles on my side had cars w/mulitple passengers in them and the cars were at a complete stop waiting for their turn to be chuted in like cattle to be asked for their papers (?) and to be questioned by the cops (for possible DUI?). I would say, there were, at least, 3 to 4 and maybe even 5 thousand cars, approximately, on both sides of the checkpoints waiting to get through the. Unbelievable!!
Never in my 61 years have I ever seen anything like this before!!
I saw at least 25 tow trucks pulling vehicles away from the check point areas. I’m very much in shock and very fortunate to know my way around my city to have avoided what is still going on as I type this message. I had such a wonderful day only to be knocked back to the ugly reality of what is happening to us in our country, Martial Law! IT’S SCARY OUT THERE!!

These ‘checkpoints’ always amaze me. They are under the guise of DUI checks, but then it leads to insurance, driver’s licence, vehicle registration and licence plate validations. They are looking more for the latter than of the former. Any way to ding someone and collect taxes by extortion – towing away the car, impound and storage fees for any or all of the “violations” I mentioned. And to mention; the ticket(s) involved that’ll have to be paid on top of this. It’s plainly about money and collecting it from YOU. Make sure you comply and have all your PAPAS IN ORDA! Seig Heil!

The semi-truck drivers should organize and form huge convoy’s to smash right through these check points. Let’s see if they keep this shit up when their barriers are physically destroyed, or they block traffic for so long they have to remove themselves. The truckers have more power than they realize…

I have experienced martial law.. We have worse than that in the US. In real martial law in a third world you hand the money to the “pivot man” to avoid the GVT BS.. In the US.. Everyone is set up in the system for a “take” on the $$$$..

Guess what?.. I was in the Navy and visited the Philippines during the Marcos regime.. The US already has the conditions well in place. Martial law is simply “declared”..
This picture of “ravaged GVT/law officers running around with blood dripping from their gums shooting people down like dogs and putting people on trains to be hauled off to FEMA “camps”… is not the way it will work in all probability.. They will just go out and preserve their jobs as told.. in hopes they maintain themselves above the “common herd’…
Martial law as I saw it an experience it was the institution of curfews.. i.e. no one can be on the streets after a certain hour and that will be the biggest control factor.. instead of the GVT locking people up.. They convince the people to lock THEMSELVES up, saving resources…
The ones who don’t “comply” will be arrested and put in jail and made an example of(remember media is controlled by the powers..even in small towns the local newspaper knows what to write and who NOT to write about).. And those who attempt to assemble (Your Constitutional Rights are suspended (Do we have them now?) under martial law.
Now the problem begins with amounts of people and resistance to GVT… Perhaps the famed train cars and camps may come into play. But the GVT will have to use significant force to round up a well-organized group of people. And am I insinuating “militia”. Hell.. Just finding a group who can conduct a Boy scout meeting these days is hard..and hard times do not make hard decisions easier.. and it won’t be like some movie where a person out of the crowd magically assumes a leadership role and they all roll off to glory..
Presently I am focused on some of the simple issues most people probably don’t think about..
And these are open for input:
To my knowledge all these areas of the US have been “outsourced”….
1. We don’t make cloth/clothing in the US that I know of to any degree.
2. We don’t make shoes in this country
3. Automobile manufacturing is at a minimum in the US. Most are assembled/partially assembled outside the US. Most can’t change a tire..much less repair a mechanical failure.
4. Our major food production has moved away from a family sized farm to a farming industry, if still family ran on a larger scale. To one that is managed by GVT to subsidized programs that produce non-edible crop (facing a food crisis) like cotton. I live in a Georgia farming community and unless I am mistaken..with fuel prices. The farmer has been suckered. They “insurance farm” which means they pay “insurance” for a crop whether it makes or not, this is another avenue for the finacial institutions to work in under the door. One day they simply won’t pay and the farmer loses it all. Additionally, with GM seed becoming ever more dominate..seed companies are beginning to control the farming industry. No seed. No crop. The few heirloom seed still used will crossbreed with GM seed and the heirloom type is ruined. ending their reproductive use for future crops. Plus you will have to manage seed carefully to preserve them.
5. Imagine one day without electricity.. and I mean ONE( a single day)…Do I need to go on? Think cooking and food cold storage. Forget kids video games, reality shows, cell phones, hot tub..etc.
6. Fuel – Gas, diesel, heating?.. You see that now.. One to two days with no delivery… Gas stations shut down. Them gas tanks don’t connect directly to oil wells under the gas station.
7. Basics – House begins to deteriorate. Where will you get supplies? Broken window? For those who have their own well.. Lucky you.. Worst case.. You can pull the pump out and drop a container less than 3-4-5-6-8 ” down the well and get some water..as long as you have a container and rope that will fit the casing size.
8. Food production.. Have a shovel and a few gardening tools around? I am not talking about to pick and scratch at the “stray weed” now and then.. Your back will know new feelings… Not good ones either. Food production will be ongoing assuming you have space and have the diligence.. rabbits birds and deer like a good easy meal too.. not to mention the plethora of bugs that destry plants.
9. For those who have been eating out of the GVT hand.. You will now be on your own. You will be the obvious “class” because you will not be able to adapt readily to working and providing for yourself. You will be the type to continue asking for “help from someone”…
10. For those that work for GVT and depend on security. Hot potato.. GVT will eat it’s own. If you work for GVT i.e. civil service.. You know that already.. You just live in the “when it happens I hope it don’t happen to me world”. You watch people cut each other’s throats (not literally) every day. School teachers, Civil service, military?, c local, state, federal employees.. Itheir loyalty will be exposed with the first rumors of no paycheck.. They will be promised that “It will not last but a few days.. then after a week.. get restless.. and then finally a payday doesn’t come.. Then they get more mad than any one else in society.. except the welfare crowd..
11. When the energy supply is interrupted (refer to line item #6) food supply will end for most about 4 days after that. I say four days because everyone has a bunch of old junk they bought to eat and won’t in the cupboards.. It doesn’t seem like much now. but when forced to eat it..maybe four days.
“Ohhh well.. I guess we’ll just go eat out then…” (Refer to Items previously listed on electricity/water/fuel and besides.. These places won’t be open anyway..)
12. Those living in rural areas ? ..Well, depends on resources ..If they stay quiet and don’t bother anyone.. they will be ignored since they pose no harm.. I know one that will hide my family every time I hear a car coming my way until it comes down to an exchange of force. In rural areas “traffic” can be heard a long ways away.. and that is under normal circumstances. However.. as we have seen on cop shows.. isolated areas with people and infrared cameras would make hiding difficult if it came down to the seriousness of “rounding up people”.. Besides.. Most would give up I expect… Those few that are “left alone” will manage and struggle.. and become better for it.. But sooner or later a medical situation will arise.. and dire decisions will have to be made.. And if you do have a garden and GVT is as ugly as some propose, it would be no problem to destroy the plants… People around me have cattle.. I would hope we could work out a deal.. If not.. I guess I would attempt the honorable thing first.. and then make a decision based on what happens.. Certainly not waste a cow for one when a community should eat. By the way.. I kinda figured out these old timey rural communities.. Most actually despised one another at heart.. but knew when times were hard they would have to depend on one another.. so they kept up appearances… Each needed the other and placed that above jealousy and envy , plus they were narrow thinking hard core people.. they were diluted with this “kinder and gentler” BS disease we suffer now. ..
Additionally, a fire for cooking and heating can be seen for a great distance.. and smelled.. day or night. a fire readily gives a location away. Especially when cooking.
13. MEDICATIONS.. I almost forgot this one because I don’t take any that I cannot do without. (See..Not intentional selfishness.. just oversight because “It don’t affect me”..) Those on “lifesaving drugs”, diabetics, dialysis, cancer treatment etc.. For those the days would be numbered on fingers of hands in most cases. On the good side.. all these kids on RIDLIN would be forced to work.. and I guarantee you they would be ready for bed at the end of the day of garden labor. Don’t forget dental.. A bad tooth tends to keep one’s focus in a dedicated manner. Just pull it? What if it breaks off?.. Then you are really screwed. Obese and can’t walk now? Who will carry you when the going gets tough?..
14. Guns: Sooner or later ammo will run out.. You can store all you think you need.. use it sparingly.. But there will be others provided for as all wars have proven. Modern guns are adapted for modern means.. casings, powder, primers, bullets.. some of these items will be hard to extend their life expectancy.. some can be used only a couple of times..
15. So called “third world countries” do not have to worry about dealing with these problems.. They never had to. Their lack of climbing the civilization ladder, even as ugly as it is, has spared them the distance to fall. They are already accustomed to the world we have faced in an earlier time and have forgotten only two generations ago.
All this can happens with just a declaration by a President, a 5 minute TV blurb, no questions and answers, and a fuel shutdown to control people following immediately..
Utilities can be easily controlled.. Power on and off at a certain time(s).. fuel rations on a “as needed” basis.. meaning GVT use only.
All this without one bomb or any extra use of force for most in the US.. Just by Presidential Declaration and we will “comply”.. Why? “Because we are Americans”… And I don’t type this to belittle or insult.. I took the time to do it because I sincerely believe it to be truth based on an actual experience in another country.. And if it worked there..It will work here I am sure. The fear is admitting it. We all talk about what we will and won’t do.. But will we when the time comes?
The GVT is betting we don’t. And at this point they know they have nothing left but to force the people to submit to raw GVT.. We will have no resources left to take care of ourselves as a people and GVT can no no longer provide the illusion. The “banks” and “Illuminati” types will moved on long ago at this point. But in the end.. They will be in the same situation as us.. in failing us.. as elected officals they have also failed themselves.
Engage brain.. Permission to think is granted….

I have been observing the Canadian geese flying south..
Now I ask myself. What inspired these birds to go through the same old routine every day and year.. Hatch, grow up ..eat.. process food, fly, eat process food.. fly south, fly north, mate at some point for life, stay mated to same partner.. with no more communication than a limited exchange of noises we as humans cannot understand, and do this a whole life with nothing more or less to gain than just living. That is it !!!!! They simple live a basic life. We as humans had that opportunity once and we well adapted to it.. and even as we became more civilized.. we became “smarter” and gave up these “un-necessary basic ways of life” for “this better life’ Would the Canadian geese be better off if they had some sort of money system and other geese to hire them?
They aren’t “gifted” with the intelligence to pick a spot comfortable half way of their required journey and just “take it easy and have “fun” year round like us humans?
While I am not overly religious and run around declaring my “born againess”, salvation..trying to save others etc.. I would expect many who refer others to the Bible would probably look around and see if they haven’t forgot something they left out about their own lives..
I would like to think I am smarter than a goose.. But am I? The goose doesn’t seek answers for a reason.. It does what it was intended to do in life. Have we? Man protects a goose with laws better than man protect himself with laws.. In fact the same men protecting the geese pass laws that enslave man …
I do believe we are on this earth for a purpose.. We have been given more than enough to do well for ourselves..and we squandered it as humans think somehow we were “smarter and more educated and civilized”.. and here we are. All screwed up from basic human greed.. and refuse to admit it. It is no longer a recognition problem.. It is plainly obvious. We have been overcome with greed and may ways to justify it. We lived thousands of years on “beliefs” whatever your’s may be..and in the last 150 we are asking science to come up with their answer as to why we had our “beliefs” so long. Perhaps we will “educate ourselves into extinction”..
I consider myself to be common and have led a interesting and at the same time basic life.. observed a lot in the world.. People from different countries are basically all the same.. the problem is..we just don’t know it.. so we “assume”…which usually makes an “ass” out of “”u” and “me”… Not a “tree hugger”, do eat meat as part of my diet, enjoy vegetables equally,, had and no longer want the complications of “keeping up with the Jones’”… realize debt is a literal “tar baby” and at 51 was alive before the common person could get a credit card. Initially they were promoted as some sort of symbol for “those who were better than those who could not qualify”.. Sound familiar? Now they can issue them to a dog if you sign your pet up for one…
No matter who we attempt to blame for this situation.. we must take some responsibility.. Our primary cause of action contributing to the current situation was “inaction” at a minimum.
If you read this.. The intent is not to inspire or promote paranoia.. Those things will come into play themselves.. The intent of this thought is to perhaps make a few people think more than they are.. We have been conditioned to be a nation of short term (less than 24 hour) thinkers…. And this is probably less than basics for some. That is why we are in this mess as well. I certainly am not perfect or even close.. but I strive.

Drivers license? Minimal.. State issued no practical value..small fine at best.
Insurance >> BIG MONEY.. FINANCIALLY CONNCETED for big $$$ every year in the US.. Forced insurance.. Money makers win, Probate court wins, Tow trucks win.. “connected law enforcement ” win… Impound lot WINS BIG TIME…
Registration >> FINE and PROBATE COURT WINS… Same as insurance in impact to citizen..
Everything in order.. Ohhhh well..
Not a damn item makes a difference safety wise.. It is all driven by MONEY $$$$$$$$$
MOney buys legislation.. Insurance is money…. by investors..Banks are moeny by investment..Citizens are losers.. they try like hell to avoid high insurance rates..most don’t claim accidents to avoid rate increases.. or being dropped..which results in higher rates..at THE SAME COMPANY THAT INSURED THEM BEFORE..

What was this checkpoint about? It seems pretty ridiculous that the police would be causing a major traffic issue on the 5. Perhaps the writer could have mentioned what this concerned. So much wasted gas and pollution. Did the poster bother to call the LAPD or the California Highway Patrol to find out what the issue was? How about calling the LA Times and asking them. I suggest the writer call the Governor’s Office as ask what this was about.
I drive 5 – 6 lanes freeways often enough to presume there had to be a reason. Now I am curious. I just returned from a metro area as congested as Los Angeles and had that been done on the highway or turnpike, people would literally be ready to riot.

They might say they’re looking for DUI’s/illegals/whatever, but this extravagant scale of interference asks the question, “What’s really going on?” This is practice for local enforecement in dealing with herding and vetting thousands of people. Why? Ever heard of the red and blue lists? These are lists of people the powers that be find either extremely (red) or moderately (blue) irritating, and slated to be detained/disappeared in some manner. I have read that international law enforecment (”Partners for Peace”) has been approaching people at truck stops on I95 checking peoples’ Soc. Sec. numbers against a list they have on small computers. Large scale rounding up illegals, grand scale checkpoints – it’s practice for martial law when law enforcement will be dealing with large numbers of people.

Yes I am serious. When someone makes a post and says it seems to be like this or that, it is inferential and vague. I guess you just assume this is was a police state drill. In all reality, say I am on the 5 and I am headed to catch a very long flight and I miss it because of some alleged drill. That is pretty ridiculous. Anyone who knows metro LA knows the 5 is bad enough without pulling all the cars over and making people late for just about anything. The next person who is going to pay a political price is the Mayor of LA.

What do we have here? Another “false prophet”? Please do not try to make predictions of future events which will have a different outcome than the ones you think, thus, making you look bad.
My opinion on your 1) is that you haven’t been or paying attention to what’s happening around the world. US fleet has amassed in the Persian Gulf, US is deploying tanks in Afghanistan for use in the flatlands of Iran, tensions with Russia-US rising. What makes you think they will wait so far?

Last night I was heading home in the Longmont Colorado area – around midnight. As I drove off the exit of the highway I noted a flashing sign that announced a sobriety road block ahead… with the sign being set up so that anyone with who’d been drinking would have no problems turning onto another street to avoid it. It’s been a long time since I saw so many law enforcement officers in one place at that time of night. must have been 20 or 30 of them, pulling people forward into groups of 5-10 cars at a time. After they’d pulled everyone into the area two of three officers came up and interogated the persons in the car. Obviously, this was not actually a sobriety check. Some sort of exercise in preparation for who know what in the near future? interesting to have it going on here in colorado at almost the exact same time as checks are happening in California.

We have had this in Australia for years. Police can set up on a main highway or anywhere they want, under the guise of “Random Breath Testing”, stop every car, test every driver, check every licence and registration, search your car if they want too (they can pull it to bits, no warrant needed). The Australian government has also introduced laws whereby the Police can accuse you of “Street Racing”, and confiscate your car. I am glad you guys in America still have your guns. I live in Western Massachusetts and in 1995 there was a small roadblock on interstate 5. i and my girlfriend were coming back home from a great dinner with her friend in the back. Well, they pulled us over asking us if we drank tonight and where we were coming from. I said Northampton and the State Cop said drinking. I told him we had dinner and I had a beer with it. Then I asked him what all this was for. He said, sir get out of youe car. He then did a drunk test even though I showed no signs of being drunk. I left thinking here it begins.

I feel fortunate that 11 years of military service has me entrained me to martial law. Golden rule: eyes & ears open, mouth shut. The chatty, complaining, or generally confused looking get the rudest awakening. There’s a sort of passive-aggressive assertiveness body language that works best i.e. you are not threatening or “giving the eye” to anything or anyone, but you do look alert and capable of responding both to orders and to trouble. Exit, assess & re-assess the situation and make your complaints later, in a better state of mind, on a better “battle field.” No one is going to win the battle or the war if they “make” a problem while at a checkpoint, or anywhere where it’s obvious that the individual is being baited. When you see/experience abuse even when complying, that’s a whole different ball game; be sure you did nothing that could be represented as non-compliant, which is hard to do for any freedom loving adult, but is the wiser path. Look at not taking action ( where you will surely loose ) as a tactical and strategic action, it makes it easier to handle the frustration and anger they actually hope you feel. Just my opinion, formed from experience. Your mileage may vary.

I don’t know what they are doing Im usually not out at night but they were doing it last friday night in downtown oxnard too…my husband was acting like a smartass running over the cones, it was supposed to be a DUI check point, but we were not pulled over???? we actually appeared intoxicated running over cones, but were not pulled over…..what were they really looking for????? perhaps our military department of defense sticker saved us who knows…think my hubby is a little bit more a believer these days though after seeing this abuse of power first hand.

by the way in waterville maine the same thing occured proportionately smaller and i did the same thing to avoid them, it’s not far off to have all routes blocked, but the tow trucks on hand, c’mon seriously. so anyway be sure if i see another one it will be taped. tow trucks. where are the drivers now? for the record i’ve been pulled over more times in the past few months than than my life added up and all the cops and staties were cool. maybe it’s cause i’m polite, maybe because i didn’t have my camera then, but so far in maine they’re cool. they have tripled the amount of cops but it’s still true for now that if your not drinking, or causing trouble you’re gonna be fine. the tow trucks still bother me.

I saw a similar thing happen in Simi Vally about a year ago. It was on an avenue, not on the freeway though. At least 6 police cars with tens of cops were stopping people on one side of the road, lining them up on the right lane. There was an improvised table on the sidewalk with a couple of cops sitting there, writing something. I was fortunate to be going the other way. The side streets were blocked too, so if you turned before the roadblock, you’d got caught as well. This was around 8pm on a Friday. I never knew what was all about. Perhaps doing DUI checks? We’re being conditioned to accept this kind of thing. I’m from South America and I had witness exactly the same thing as it happens over there. $deity help us.

I was there that night. I was coming back from the OC. We thought it was road construction. The freeway was backed up for miles. A person in front of us was my F’ing hero! He rammed thru the barriers blocking the off ramps on the right (yes, they had blocked exits for miles so nobody could get off) Anyways, the person who made it off was quickly persued by a CalTrans truck lightning quick. I could not believe how fast they sped over there to close off the exit again. I did not see a CHP after him, but who knows after he got thru! I hope he made it okay. But when we got to the front, there were no checkpoints. I’ll bet there was though before. I just thought the whole thing was weird. No sign of an accident or anything…

While stationed in the Philippines: their driver’s licenses came in booklet form that had a pocket that you could put a couple of folded bills into. If you were accused of trying to make a bribe, you could just say that this is were you keep your emergency or gas money. But mostly they handed you back your licence minus the cash and let you go. Getting pulled over on the national highway so the cop could sit in your air conditioned car for a while wasn’t uncommon.
The insurance/police connection references are right One of biggest “conspiracy” situations in almost plain sight that goes unnoticed by most. Unfortunately, having insurance can sure come in handy no matter which side of an accident you may be involved in. Can you trust people that live in debt and don’t prepare for hurricane season to voluntarily buy insurance, or pay your hospital and mechanic bills – I think not. If the driver’s license ( permission ) was replaced by a driving qualification card ( also basically permission ) that had real driver education and proof of skill, at least 2/3 of my local drivers wouldn’t me on the road. People treat driving a car as a right, and mostly it is a necessity, but if you ever lived in a place with so many elderly drivers you would probably change your mind. They naturally have poorer eyesight/hearing and reaction time, are often on medications including pain killers, and their “experience” means that treat traffic like it was still 1958 and “wisely” drive noticeably under the speed limit. Backed-up traffic, passing, and generally trying to get away from the old folks causes accidents – it’s just that the statistics shift to people trying to be in the proper flow instead of showing the root cause of trying to avoid hitting an old person.
We all know these safety/DUI/DWI are bull. If traffic police and the system were actually proactive, the roads would be a sweet experience instead of a death defying worry. Either way, most people won’t like it.

So what would your solution be, Butler? I partially agree with you, but you seem to be suggesting a violent uprising is the answer. I think a violent uprising without thought or planning is a good way to just give them an excuse to kill you faster.
My solution is to go underground…Start or join a militia, gain the necessary skills of guerilla warefare, prepare by buying supplies you would need as if you are going on a 10 year camping trip, but stay off the NWO radar. They’re in control at this point. Until this stuff really hits the fan, and the general population realizes this is war, we still have to work through the legal system…
When that breaks down…we have the militias we form…

The blue gun thug Gestapo have been a police state for years. The “free country” is long gone. The people would be a lot better off if the blue gun thugs were rounded up and impaled on a row of poles down Santa Monica Blvd. Some of the people are angry, but most are sheep. Its not likely to happen any time soon.

In cities we see that that government brass,
Lock up people just because of their class,
Police standing around massaging the triggers,

And when we say please forget not the Poor,

I encountered something very similar to this. On my way back from my mothers house i noticed heavy traffic late at night in an area that rarely has traffic. Not wanting to get stuck i navigated my way around the neighborhood streets but still wanted to see what all the fuzz was about. I got close enough to see that there was a large police van parked on the side of the street and there were several guys handcuffed and seated in front of the van where the police had set up tables and were interrogating the individuals they detained. This all took place on Flagler and 25th street right in front of Miami Senior High School.fl. Having served my country in iraq, i am disgusted by the lack of decency and honor of our law enforcement. I will say one thing, we can only take so much, before drastic and violent measures are taken. hopefully it never comes to that and yes Marines are very well trained in urban combat. Remember the “terrifying terrorist” are amongst us jaja

I have a question…I keep seeing all the signs that Martial Law is upon us and soon to get worse…howver, I also keep seeing people say to get ready and be prepared.
My question is, how do we do this?
Do we flee?
Do we stay and stock up on supplies?
I’m just overwhelmed, somewhat scared and really would just like to know what to do.

PS – I live in Los Angeles…I’d also like to point out that for the past few days, I’ve been seeing more and more “army” choppers in the sky. Don’t know if this is relevant to anything but it sure does gimme the creeps.

I’m the one who witnessed the events and then posted what I experienced that ultimately ended up in the DP last Sunday morning, that ultimately ended up here at the Info Wars website.
People have asked why they’re doing this here. and now I know why L. A. County is so hell bent on stopping so many cars on our roads. I discovered and article about them pulling over 2,000 cars on another occasion not far from where they had the checkpoint that I encountered because the DHS gave them the cash to conduct the checkpoints.

Yeah, I saw the Navy Fighter jets, too! I live near the intersection of Santa Monica and Vine.
When I’m putting on my make up in the bathroom mirror, I have a perfect view out of my window of that tall building at Sunset and Vine they’ve started working on (the one that’s been vacant for 10 years) Just today I saw 3 choppers in the span of an hour around 11,12 today buzzing passed that building.
And they weren’t ghetto birds (News or police choppers)
I’ve been seeing them for the past few weeks but it seems to be happening even more so as the days pass. Of course my friends tell me I’m being crazy and that it’s nothing.
Bullshit.
I’ve live here for 15 years and have never seen shit like this.
I’ve been stocking up on shit for the past year…everything my dog and I will need should we go into “lock down”.
I had to drive to South Gate today to go my doctor and as I was moving along, I was looking at all the different hoods and at how many PEOPLE are in this city alone. Most of which HATE the government. It’s too bad that most of them are in a Big Mac, top 40, prozac-induced grip to see what is happening all around us. If they would do the research, we could all stand together and declare civil-disobedience, heheh…
But I’m sure the powers that be have thought of that and have plans to prevent that as well.

#162 MerryDeath!! I use to live in Altadena 25 years ago and I only stayed there for 4 months!! As I am from Washington D.C./Maryland !! And then we moved to Sacramento and lived there for 21 years!! But while I was in Altadena, my wife worked in Downtown LA and I worked in Monrovia as an insurance agent!! And one day; after I dropped my wife off to work in LA, I went to the Santi Monica beach because everybody was telling me how nice it was!! And because I was a preacher and still is a preacher; I wanted to see what it was all about without going on the beach because I don’t like looking at barely clothed women!! And to my great satisfaction; they have a cliff with a rail that you can easily overlood the beach!! And as I stood there looking at it from afar (which greatly pleased me) I saw a gigantic wave of about 200 to 300 feet rising out of the Ocean!! And this was in 1984 so the “Deep Impact” movies hadn’t come out yet!! It was what we that are in the know spiritually call “an open vision” and it terrified me and I ran into my car and sped out of the area in terror!!
And this showed me that Los Angeles and the whole west coast will be swallowed up by a massive tidal wave which will cause the whole region to be swallowed up because of a MASSIVE EARTHQUAKE THAT WILL BRING A HUGE SECTION OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA RIGHT INTO THE PACIFIC OCEAN!! So maybe you will escape the coming MARTIAL LAW NEW WORLD ORDER ANYWAY!! ADD THAT TO YOUR SCENARIO’S OF SURVIVAL !!

Abuse of police powers and Constitutional rights are not limited to the west coast, unfortunately. There have been numerous instances here in Albany NY of wanton civil rights abuses including a woman who was stopped on a city street and had a cavity search conducted inside of her vagina by a male officer on the side of the road.
Around the same time period, a man was pulled out of the downtown Albany bus terminal by the Albany County Sherif’s Dept. on suspicion of drug-trafficking (the only probable cause being that he had a prior offense) and after not consenting to an illegal search, he was transported to Albany Medical Center where he was drugged and forced to a full cavity search including a rectal probe. After the police found nothing, and a toxicology report revealed there were no drugs in his system, he was released.
Another instance was when a detained man had escaped from the custody of two APD officers, with one of the officers being shot and wounded in the process. The tactic that was implemented to find the escaped prisoner was to go door to door of every home in the Arbor Hill (predominately black) neighborhood, and conduct warrantless searches of family residences. These searches included peoples front doors being kicked in with guns drawn and pointed at innocent citizens.
Like many city police forces, there are officers that serve with the intention of protecting the citizenry and upholding the law. However, when the officers whose conduct reflects the opposite, and thrives only on wielding power and authority, abuses of civil liberties must not go unchecked. In many instances, such as in Albany, attempts to set up citizen review boards to check these powers have been repeatedly blocked or rendered ineffective due to lack of cooperation of city officials.
One solution is of course, to know your rights as a citizen and ideally be involved with a network of like-minded people who wish to preserve liberty and resist tyranny.

I live in a very suburban city 20 miles west of Baltimore. It’s very quiet hear and nothing ever happens. But for about the past year or two the volume of police on patrol has been steadily increasing. By now, cops are everywhere, speed traps, choppers, roaming patrols. You see them driving around every where you go. I counted one day over 10 cops on they way home from a friends, maybe a 10 min drive. It’s ridiculous! you’d Think i live in a ghetto. Constant police helicopters patrolling, especially at night where you could see 4 or 5 seperate choppers in one night, and the same one will patrol one area for hours. They usually fly over my neighborhood 5 or 6 times an hour. About two weeks ago i was in my buddy’s front yard smoking a cig and 5 people walked up to us. Dressed normally but they were undercover cops. They questioned us about what we were doing. Later that night i was followed for about 20 mins by a nissan sentra. it was another pair of undercover cops. they pulled me over for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign. WHATS GOING ON PEOPLE?!?!?!
