When Keith McCammon unwittingly took a picture of that building, he was launched on an odyssey that has so far involved an Arlington police officer, the chief of police and the defense of the United States of America.
McCammon could not have been expected to know when he wandered by the building that it houses the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, a low-profile wing of the Defense Department that conducts all manner of high-tech research that evolves into weapons systems and high-order strategery.

Good ? all I can say is they showed up in the parking lot in the days before the swine flu outbreak and were removed when the media coverage died down. I was followed from the site and ” pulled over” by some squirt M.P. who informed me that I was to delete the pictures or face prosecution under the patriot act. I complied.
I can only assume the trailer’s were there in case the outbreak went crazy and there was hundreds or thousand of deaths. 15 trailers total.

in the state of virginia (i don t know about other states) the military actually has the legal authority to patrol outside their bases i think the radius is 5 miles but im not sure exactly how far it is. they are also allowed to ticket or arrest those that they pull over but turn them over to the local police dept if they are non military. as for being able to arrest someone over the patriot act i don t believe an mp has the authority but i could be wrong. i was an electrician but had a few friends who were MA’s (the navies MP’s) and would talk to them about the UCMJ to find out what things i could be liable for and what the punishments were if i did them while i was in.

Those are for folks like us whom continue to take photos of building that we shouldn’t be. I have to wonder when the day will come that we’re not allowed to even have cameras (including the cell phone variety) or video recorders outside of our homes. As absolutely ridiculous that sounds right now…could any of us be surprised after all of the other liberties that have been snatched away in the name of “safety and security”????

The patriot act has pretty much handed authority over to law enforcement and
the courts to interpret anything the way they want to and consider it a terroristic threat, a terroristic act, or something with terroristic intentions and they can thrust these

No, refridgerated trucks are for somthing, if they did exist (I am almost to the point I need to see it myself, no offense).
Ok, assume they were there – they would be useless for organ harvesting, they have to retrieve the organ for the most part before the circulatory system shuts down and oxygen deprevation ect. To summerize, if the body is dead it would basically be useles to them for those purposes. Even if kept cool. It would last an extremely short period of time.

my dad works for a packaging company, and the refrigerated trucks arent for bodies. theyd be for food transport or vaccine transport. vaccines need to be sustained at a certain temperature to make it very precise.

Those rigs were probably for bodies. During that bad-ass huricane on the Carolina coast in the late ninteties, they had to use those. They had those things parked in what was left of Tarboro, NC on the Tar River filled with close to 100 bodies after the dam was overwhelmed. Rocky Mount and Tarboro were hit hard.

Google satellite images are over a year old. My home is in a new housing development, and the image in Google maps is more than a year old the last time I checked. I can tell exactly how old from the pictures of the homes being built. I assume this is the case everywhere, so no one can identify the FEMA camps that have been built over the past couple years.

Possible solution #1 – Flash mob and photograph a particular building, they can’t get us all. 150 people, seemingly going about their own business, suddenly converge on the public side walk across from the target building, pull out digital cameras, take pictures, then move along. Any one they catch and stop, agree to delete your pictures, do it, don’t argue, don’t fight. The rest, those who escape, just keep on going, then post your “terrorist” photographs to the web.
Possible solution #2 – Professional photographer sues for “restrain of trade”. They are keeping him from taking photographs and restrictng his right to earn a living. This suit would be bolstered if someone else “privately contracts” ie. pays him money, to photograph for them, a specific building.

I just dont get it we arnt allowed to snap pic but these asshats can mount cameras anywhere and take pics of anyone …even if it is against their belief as it is mine! This has been going on for a while now, my friend Keith and his wife were over in Europe 2 years ago going around to different places on vacation. They say an American flag and Keith ask his wife to take a picture of him in front of the building that the flag was at. Needless to say about a dozen gaurds came out of no-where and demanded that the picture be deleted and wanted their info. Well all in all they were allowed to go but told not to be taking pictures in front of buildings. Later they found out that because one of the guards ran their info through the system they are now on the national terrorist suspect list and there is nothing they can do to get their names removed!

Did anybody pay close attention to Obama’s Oath when he was sworn in as president? If I’m not mistaken, he never said “To defend the Constitution from all Enemies, Foreign and Domestic”. Could someone check this out? I kept waiting to hear those words roll off his lips but I don’t think he took the full Oath. Biden did, I remember that for sure. If anyone recorded it, please let me know. I think He pulled a fast one on all of us!

I tried photographing the tallest building in Wilmington, NC in January 2009 and a facilities security officer came out informed me that if the company owner saw any photograph of his building anywhere in print or online that he would promptly sue me.
Earlier in the week I entered a department store in Wilmington with my video cam running and was approached by several workers and informed that I was not allowed to use a camera inside their store.
One wonders: Just what are all these people afraid of?
Next, they’ll arrest you for allowing the photons of a CEO to fall upon your retina. “Stealing their glory” might be the charge.

I spent this evening at a rural home here in VA with 25 other Patriots. These meetings are going on and starting up all over the country. There are millions who are looking to stop the dishonesty that is going on in Washington. They are about forcing, through protest and other means, such as phone calls and letters, and the ballot box and making the Congress “OBEY” the Constitution. It is also about making the government OBEY The Constitution. Washington is out of control and they must be brought back into line or you will be a slave in less time than it takes to say Barack Hussein Obama. If you are an American Patriot and are willing to get up off the chair and start actually doing something then you need to seek out in your area a Patriot movment meeting and gert involved. The Constitution needs you. Freedom needs you and your fellow Americans who cherish their Constitutional Freedoms need you. The future generations of Americans need you. and they need you NOW. If you can not find a meeting then start one at your house or Library or local resteraunt and get this thing under way or we are going to lose this country to the commies. On July 4htth will be a starting point protest wise. On Sept 12 it willbe millions strong. They are afraid of us in Washington because we are the power not them.

Great story, the links, and the comments on that BLOG were great. One had a link to a map that shows the building, and the police cars outside of it, along with all the antennas on top of the building. Others had links to PDF of photographers rights, and to KNOW YOUR RIGHTS. ORG, and ALSO, the wiki’s of the 24 states your required by law to show ID. In short, it was a cool way to spend some time on a day off reading about things we all need to know about. INFORMATION IS THE KEY !

this shouldnt even be a story. This guy called the media and hollered “o golly gee” and is looking for 15 minutes. Why wouldnt the military or defense research facilities be leery of people taking pictures of their shit? The biggest thing here is one simple fact, the DoD did tipe their hand on this, now it is known for what it does. JoJo McFlashcamera really should have just understood the concern by those asking who and what, then just gone on his way and keep his mouth shut. My bet is that entire operation is going to move to a new place for anonymity concerning its operations.

i saw a infared camera motor home. it had a heat image of a plane on it and said infared radar and it was sitting in the middle of stillwater MN spying on people. it was all decked out in cameras anda sattelite dish, for shooting the images to a government group, maybe?, I took a pic of it and it the camera turned and looked strait at me

Moloch – This isn’t about scaring anyone. Google – “taking pictures of federal buildings” it will bring up many sites that have people talking about being harassed or forced not to record video/still images in the direction of a federal building by officers, security and/or military personal.
Moloch, that is a interesting name…quite the hoot.

Funded by the US government.
Same as Government file sharing,ie,Public libraries.
Funded by your tax dollars!!!
Why risk going and taking pics or downloading music.
Just use what the tax dollars allready fund.lol
