ive been through two earthquakes the first one sounded like an explosion in the air that caused me to look up the second one which was years apart sounded like an explosion underground. not sure where i’m going with this other than can an earthquake be generated in the air first or does it have to be the other way around? also, do earthquakes cause a flash of light or type lightening?

It’s Italy! And it’s where I live. GoTJ you made a good point about man ripping apart the land and the subsequent floods and other natural disasters, but volcanoes and earthquakes?!?! Come on! These are way beyond the power of the man to control or causing them.
