Your statement is a complete and totally impossible contradiction; a free market nation cannot be a warfare nation. A warfare nation by its essential function requires high levels of confiscatory taxation, state intervention into industry for the military industrial complex, and a foreign policy of imperialism and interventionism; all of which are not features of a truly free market society. You can begin your education by ceasing to read the histrionic polemics of socialist revivalist Naomi Klein and begin to educate yourself via the Austrian school, go and see Murray Rothbard. He fought his whole life against the warfare state and welfare state, both as being counterproductive and immoral. The biggest misconception today is that people cannot separate the government and socialism from society and free enterprise, socialism creates more crony capitalism.
