Judge rules activist’s beliefs on climate change akin to religion

For Dickinson’s then head of sustainability, Tim Nicholson, the errand was much more than an executive indulgence: it embodied the contempt with which his boss treated his deep philosophical beliefs about climate change.
In a significant decision today, a judge found Nicholson’s views on the environment were so deeply held that they were entitled to the same protection as religious convictions, and ruled that an employment tribunal should hear his claim that he was sacked because of his beliefs.

If one’s belief in global warming rises to the level of a “religion”, then certainly those who believe otherwise have their “religion” as well, whoich should have equal protection.
“Religion” is to believe in something as an ACT OF FAITH, not based on any independently verifiable FACTS.
By declaring manmade climate change a “religion”, it is an outright admission that such beliefs are NOT BASED ON THE FACTS, but are an article of blind faith.
If declaring manmade climate change to be a “religion” is not an absolute repudiation of any scientific basis for such beliefs, I don’t know what is. If there was any REAL scientific basis, they would not have had to turn it into a “religion”.

Just that the way they preach, proves that it’s a false religion. They shift arguments as the weather change and got the media on their side. They blend weather conditions with climate and accuse oponents for doing the same, whenever it suits them.
I mean, off cause glaciers are melting, they started to melt 10 000 years ago. What caused that to happen? They act like the ideal climate was the little ice age, just a couple of hundred years ago, who make extreme weather today look like a fart in cosmos. Then it was cold, but the extreme weather conditions is well documented, just look it up.
What made the giant ice caps covering the nothern hemisphere start to melt 10 000 years ago, and who is to tell it can stop? The only known climate that is colder than now, is the little ice age, wich was a great disaster on the nothern hemisphere, before anyone dreamed of driving cars, or anything. Everything was biologic, back then.
This is something bigger than co2 from our cars or whatever.
