The Republican governor of Kentucky foolishly implied Americans will have to die if Hillary Clinton wins this November — and calls for his impeachment are now amassing.
Speaking at the Values Voters Summit in Washington, D.C. on Sept. 10, a loosely Thomas Jefferson-quoting Gov. Matt Bevin bizarrely hinted at his own children having to “shed” blood in order for the nation to recover from a Clinton presidency.
“Whose blood will be shed? It may be that of those in this room,” Bevin told the conservative crowd.
“I have nine children. It breaks my heart to think that it might be their blood that is needed to redeem something, to reclaim something that we — through our apathy and our indifference — have given away.”
