She bought this meat at Krogers, a large grocery chain. In the upper left corner of the photo, you will see: “Product of U.S., Canada, Mexico.” How is it this product came from all three countries? Or is this meat product produced within the North American Union? Or is it a typo?

I noticed this over two moths ago. I saw it when shopping at Kroger one day. Of course my friends and family were not concerned, it’s all normal.

For those of you in the Upper Midwest, pretty much all grocery stores have this on the meat products for the past few months now. This has been my greatest weapon of truth for waking people up to what I’ve been telling them about the North American Union. My girlfriend and I were shopping at a Cub foods store and she pointed it out to me about 3 months ago.
There was also recently on the front page of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, which I believe was on January 14th or 15th, and also a locally broadcast press conference (KSTP-TV) of what Govenor Tim Pawlenty called Wissota and the Star Tribune labled Minnesconsin. The story and the press conference has JOINED MINESOTA AND WISCONSIN!!!!!!!!!!!
Please research this if you find the time. Seems really important when they join 2 states together and it not be reported nationally that I am aware of.

Thank you for running this! We have notoced a similar label on meat purchased at a local grocery store chain here in ‘upstate” SC – it would not be terribly surprising if the meat actually originates from one of the three countries, just as it would not be terribly surprising if the label itself is the result of some foolish and costly new bureaucratic edict that like so many other things nowdays is upside-down and backwards – - – and yet again, in yet another way, we all get to see the linking of these particular three countries together as it they are three “states” of one larger political entity.

The plastic wrapper and styropor packing contains yummy Bisphenol A as well. The meat itself was probably sprayed with radiation to kill any bacteria.

This label is probably put on packages to comply with Country of Origin labeling regulations. I work in the produce department of a supermarket and the labels printed for the cut fruit and vegetables have multiple countries listed. We were told that full compliance is required by April or fines will be given.

Get out in the country and find a farmer who will sell you meat. The farmer usually has a certain
locker they use to slaughter and process the meat. The locker calls you when the meat is ready.
You of course pay the farmer whatever the price per pound is then when you pick it up at the locker

Perhaps the better question about this Kroger meat package is, “What’s in the package?”
They say it’s beef . . . is it? Really? Looks like horse roast or perhaps mule meat. With all the embalming fluid they pump into the stuff to extend the shelf life it’s hard to tell.
What says Brother Kroger about this atrocity? Under federal law, I’m pretty sure that such labeling violates the rules regarding “country of origin.” Just where in the blazes it come from?

ok, lots of things convince me about the north american union, but this isn’t one of them. very often packages and labels are very grammatically incorrect. couldn’t this just mean that the meat the company uses comes from all three countries and that is a generic label because they don’t really take the time to sort it? this doesn’t seem like a big deal to me. it’s pretty stupid, actually.

Publix meat is the same way. My husband asked the grocer why and he said they were required to. He said he could find out where it was from if we really wanted to know. We now buy our meat from a local producer. People need to wake up to this stuff and speak out.

My family and I were shocked when we were in Detroit for Christmas and bought steaks with this sticker on it. Come to think of it, I don’t know why I didn’t just look for another steak. Well, I guess Russian Roulette is only bad if you lose, lol!

Yes, I noticed this last week also when I went to the grocery store and I just about fell over. Goodbye Kroger meat. I will shop elsewhere for my meat. Why can’t they support our local farmers? This outrages me!!!!!!

Well, I have never cared much for Kroger meat, or Wal-Marts either for that matter. Your best bet these days is, find a farm near you or in your area and pay them to raise your own cow! I have been doing that for years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well i grow my own beef, slother it and process it, havent dought store mear for at least 20 years
