Speaking to reporters Thursday at a press conference in support of President Barack Obama’s efforts to pass a government-led overhaul of the nation’s health care system, Murguia said that while the issue of illegal immigrants was politically difficult, there were “strong” arguments for covering the illegals.
“From our perspective there’s a strong case to be made in this country for us to reform health care [and] it ought to include everyone,” said Murguia. “There’s a lot of different reasons why we should try to reform this system once and for all so that everyone is covered. The more people who are covered, the more cost-effective and the more and better health outcomes we’re going to have.”

I smell bullshit. What will happen… is those slumlord construction contractors will have to hire full-time American workers and pay a living wage. Which is what they should be doing anyway. Yes, building a home, remodeling, etc will cost more. It doesn’t matter, because 1) our taxes will go DOWN with illegal aliens out of the country 2) The tax base will be increased with tax paying Americans in those jobs…thus, further lowering taxes. 3) It will bring real supply/demand back to those labor jobs…including restaurants and hotels. increasing what the American worker can and should be paid per hour.

Sumsrent has obviously never taken an economics or business class. Do you realize that the flood of illegal aliens has surved to push the wages of all workers down ?? When wages decrease, that means the amount of taxes paid in also decreases.
Illegal aliens cost the health care system billions every year. Even if the illegal aliens pay into a health care plan, we would never recoupe the billions they have already cost this country. Plus, health care costs would rise, as there would now be millions of more people using the health care services.
As for your stupid comment about the border not being closed because its profitable…your right, but the only people reaping those profits are corporations that hire the illegal workers at slave wages. These same slave wages are pushing down the pay rate for legal citizens, as I have already mentioned.

hundreds of these roaches line the streets by my local home depot, and are willing to work for 1/3-1/2 of the average wage of a tradesman (still a rip off, as the work isn’t half as good as an american tradesman). that pulls jobs out of the market, and legal citizens are forced to take lower wages to copmete with all of the other unemployed citizens. the result is a lower avg wage.
this helped to exacerbate the housing crash.
millions of illegals displacing american citizens from their jobs=no income for the citizen to pay their mortgage.
lenders may have been the biggest contributers to the crash, but illegals have certainly had a hand in this mess.
the only benefit i see is the extra work i’ve been getting.
i may not be the one who does the initial building, but i’m certainly one of the qualified tradesman that the homeowners call to fix the crap the illegals did wrong.
they contribute nothing, they take whatever they can, and in their racist delusions they think that whites “stole” their land.

You claim that the raise in the minimum wage to $7.25 and hour does not support claims that illegal aliens have surved to push wages lower in the U.S. Have you ever tried living in $7.25 an hour ??? The government passes a small minimum wage increase and you are so stupid, you see that as good thing, or that wages are increasing. Ask the average office or factory worker if they got a raise this year ?? Many will probably tell you they actually took a pay cut just to keep their job.
As for the crash in the housing market, perhaps you should so some reasearch before you post stupid comments. It is well documented that many of the subprime loans had been given to illegal aliens. I am not saying that illegal aliens on their own caused the crash of the housing market, however they were a factor. If you want to get deep into it, the bigest factor was (and still is) the Federal Reserve Bank. But you obviously lack any kind of intelligence to know how the monetary system works in the U.S.

“A People’s History of the United States” was pretty good, I’ll give you that. But Zinn, to me, comes off too much like a liberal. While I agree with most of what he has to say, as a person who is neither liberal nor conservative, I can see his bias quite clearly.
Now, as far as this illegal immigrants issue :
I agree with you that they come here to escape the policies forced upon them by their countries in accordance with the wishes of the u.s. govt. I will also say that I do not like the reference to them as illegals, I find it dehumanizing. As someone who believes in a Free Humanity, I see these people, just like my fellow americans, as brothers and fellow human beings. Sure, I would like to help them if I could.
However, that being said, I can also see that it is unwise to leave your boders open. You wouldn’t leave the door of your house open, would you ? And if you found a stranger sitting on your couch eating your food, I bet your reaction wouldnt be to let him stay because kicking him out is unfair. We cant just let anyone who feels like it stroll across the border and take up residence here. I find the whole concept very creepy and globalist.
One thing is for sure, the elite’s fingerprints are all over this one. I see the Divide and Conquer tactic involved. They are trying to manipulate my mind on this one for sure. They practice hegelianism, dont they ? Problem, Reaction, Solution.
Problem – Harsh living conditions and economic and political instability in latin american nations.
Reaction – People flee these nations for the open and virtually unguarded border of the u.s.
Solution – Race war, ethnic cleansing. Depopulation.
I dont think there is any easy answer to this question. These are human beings we are talking about. Their lives have value. On the other hand, we cant take them all in any more than a well meaning person could take all the local homeless people into their home. I say the border needs to be sealed, then the illegal immigrants that have jobs and families here should be given citizenship while all the illegal immigrants that are gang members with criminal records and jail time and such should be sent back.
That seems like a reasonable solution to me

Second, I have met numerous La Raza activists and sympathizers among the many immigrants I’ve met in Califormia. These people resent “white” people and hate the US. They hope someday to claim US territory and walth for Mexico.

I have spent a lot of time in Mexico and not just border towns. I used to stay in Mexico City a lot a year ago (fiance lived there). Doing that I can completely understand why people try to come over here nor do I have any problem with them becoming a citizen correctly. Learn English, learn the law, and learn the history.
For those that wonder why the trek across the border. It’s because the government won’t allow them to leave. If you are poor in Mexico, you are trapped in Mexico. The money just to get across the border legally on foot is more than some people make in months or even a year.
The temptation to save and go home is there too. I can understand that as well. You can go to Mexico with a small chunk of change and make a business (restraunt) and live like someone making $250 a year in the US.
It’s just corrupt to the core. Kidnappings and murders weekly yet the news in silent from fear. Friends constantly getting mugged. I watched to cops and a plains clothed man extort my fiance for money. She owned a few cyber cafes. They will shot you where you stand if you resist.
The cops drive around with their read and blues on so criminals see them coming. Corrupt to the core. People that don’t understand this are quick to say go back to Mexico. People saying, Viva Mexico, are Mexican Americans that really have no experience in the true nation of Mexico and only frequent bordertowns.
Mexico is really jacked up and I think the good ones that are here deserve the opportunity to become citizens. The basic foundation of this country is people making this their home to escape tyranny. Mexico is a Tyranny from criminals too, not just government. The government does what it’s told. It is like a bad movie.

Having said this, I warn readers against presuming that all Mexican immigrants support the La Raza ideology. Some Mexicans and other Latin Americans really are here to get away from the numerous hell-holes south of the border. But any illegal alien should be regarded as an invader.
It must also be noted that the biggest La Raza organization, the “National Council for La Raza”, was actually established and has been supported with money from “white” corporate America, primarily the Ford Foundation. Today the NCLR receives money from the Ford empire, the US Chamber of Commerce and even Federal tax-dollars. White leaders from both the democrat and republican parties attend NCLR conventions every year. Both parties are guilty of selling us out to this movement and of attempting to exploit it for their own ends.
So its important to understand that the La Raza movement is aided and abetted by white traitors here in America who no longer believe in the order of their ancestors and who regard Latino solidarity as a means to an end. (Henry Ford had similar ideas about the Nazis.)
The proliferation of the La Raza movement in America, and the open advance of its avowed members into our political system is all symptomatic of the fact that America’s white ruling class has become degenerate.

Yes, all we need to do is look at history. When people from foreign lands come into another area at a high rate, the immunity of the original inhabitants can’t withstand the foreign invasion.
Therefore, it should be no surprise that this flu pandemic started in that particular part of the world and quickly dispersed itself in the US.
