Thus far the atrocities committed by the U.S.-trained terror army ISIS or Danesh have not resulted in widespread condemnation by the American public and a demand the Pentagon rush into the Middle East and exterminate the jihadist vermin.
The media, however, keeps cranking up the noise with reports of the Islamic Army blowing up a baby, crucifying children for eating during Ramadan and other assorted horrific atrocities by way of fire, drowning and mass execution.
Now there is a report that may finally outrage at least a few red-blooded Americans — the terror group has announced it will behead the Statue of Liberty.
A graphic depicting a headless Lady Liberty clutching an ISIS flag with the New York skyline smoldering in the background was reportedly posted on Twitter.
The fantastic threat was discovered by The Clarion Project, a neocon nonprofit that has produced videos warning of the dangers of Islam.
Clarion was founded in 2006 by Raphael Shore, an Israeli rabbi, and its advisory board has included a number of neocons, including Frank Gaffney of the Center for Security Policy, Daniel Pipes of the Middle East Forum and staffers under Douglas Feith who worked in the Donald Rumsfeld Pentagon during the invasion of Iraq.
The group no longer provides public information on its members and leadership.
In 2008 Clarion was accused by the Council on American-Islamic Relations of being “an Israel-based group seeking to help Sen. John McCain win the U.S. presidential election.”
