Lawmaker Warns Of “Forced Servitude” Under Obama

New Hampshire state representative Dan Itse, who is one of many lawmakers leading the charge to assert state sovereignty against federal encroachment, has warned that the Obama administration seeks to institute “involuntary servitude”.
Appearing on Fox News to discuss the states’ rights movement, Itse told hosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade, “This is about drawing a line in the sand and saying we’ve tolerated usurpations for so long but we’re not going to tolerate you violating the constitution, we’re going to hold you accountable.”
Asked if his warning about involuntary servitude under Obama meant young people being forced to attend community service, Itse responded, “Exactly, I mean, if you are required to do a job against your will with a pay scale not set by you or not agreed to by you, that’s involuntary servitude.”
Despite denials that Obama plans to institute a mandatory program of national service, his original change.gov website stated that Americans would be “required” to complete “50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year”. The text was only later changed to state that Americans would be “encouraged” to undertake such programs.
In addition, Obama’s Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, publicly stated his intention to help create “universal civil defense training” in 2006. Such fears were also stoked when Obama himself said that a “national civilian security force,” that is “just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded” as the U.S. military was required.

Itse cited the No Child Left Behind program as an example of the federal government encroaching on states’ rights.
“They dangle a dollar in front of us and we chase it like the donkey with a carrot on a stick but ultimately they are infringing upon our domestic policies in the states, manipulating our domestic policies and we need to stand up and say that’s not your job, that’s our job,” said Itse, adding that if enough states stood up to Washington then they would have to pay attention.
In response to increasing federal encroachment, a growing number of states have passed and proposed resolutions to assert the Tenth Amendment and the Bill of Rights of the Constitution.
Washington, New Hampshire, Arizona, Montana, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, California, and Georgia have all introduced bills and resolutions declaring sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment. Colorado, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Alaska, Kansas, Alabama, Nevada, Maine, and Illinois are considering such measures.
“This is about enforcing the constitution which states to the government, you’re not the boss of us, we’re the boss of you,” concluded the lawmaker.

Yes, but note how Steve Ducy treats Dan Itse. The Fox coverage of this makes Itse out to look like some sort of “extremist” chasing after some pie-in-the-sky goal. Did you hear Ducy: “But the federal government wants what it wants,” as if that makes it okay for the federal government to behave tyrannically. As usual, they try to act as if this whole thing is something new and radical when, in fact, the Constitution says, quite clearly, that the states have the right to shut down the federal government in the event it violates the Constitution. Also, the original constitution, the Articles of Confederation, clearly said the United States was a union between the states – in other words, it was the several states that CREATED the federal government, in the first place, and they can also terminate it.

Involuntary servitude under Obanga! Yea, right! Like we haven’t had that for the last 100 years! The federals, through the IRS and a myriad of unConstitutional agencies have BEEN in-slaving us!
Here’s how it should work. The only entity who should give money to the federal government is the states. The people would only pay taxes to their respective states, ( who’s legislatures they have some small measure of control over, ) who in turn would support the federal government.
The federal government would have no taxing authority, as some argue it does not now.
The congress must be appointed by their respective state legislatures, and paid by the state government they are working for. That state legislature would decide the rate of pay.
I’m sad to say the only way this can come about now is most likely through general revolt. I’m not a promoter of violence, but we all know the federals are. Committing 87 murders on TV in 93 was just a sample of what they are capable of.
These “States Rights” bills are the most encouraging thing I’ve seen in a very long time. It gives me hope that perhaps not all elected officials are dirt-bags. And maybe there is a peaceful and lawful way to get our nation back from these tyrants.

For decades now, the Federal government has repeatedly broken its implied “contract” with every State…and in doing so, it has also broken it’s implied contract with each and every citizen of this country. The Federal government has failed each sovereign state (and their citizens) by practicing blatantly obvious “coercion type” techniques against them…done by with-holding Federal funds unless the State’s conform to their wishes. Perhaps now is the time for the States to ALL stand together and cry foul, saying “no more will we capitulate to your demands, stick your funds where the sun don’t shine.”
Perhaps it’s also time for each citizen to do the same, choosing to live as a “free and sovereign being” verses being a “slave” to a government that doesn’t even care about how it tramples the sovereignty of its own 50 States. The contract as written by our Founders has been broken and is now null and void. Let’s put our heads, hearts and hands together and write a new one…saying “this is how we choose to live, and you (the Federal government) will once again be OUR servant as you were originally designed to be”.

Does anyone remember the first military engagements of the Revolutionary War? Let me help you if your history is rusty. The British attempted to take the powder from the colonist at Lexington and Concord. The ordinary citizens knew this would make them open to more tyranny since they could not defend themselves.
The British did not take their guns; they took their ability to fire them! An attack on one of us, is an attack on the hole of us. Out grand fathers knew this, just be brave like them incase they are so bold to do so today.

During the Revolutionary War the two sides were essentially on a level playing field as far as weapon technology. The US military is light years ahead of the citizens of this country. As far as I know, you can’t pick up a M1 Abrams or an Apache AH-64 at your local auto dealer. Not to mention their vast intelligence network. Our situation really can’t be compared to the events of the late 1700’s. The weapons gap between the two sides is vast.

Just wait until Obama starts up the draft again. It’s hard to see how they could have a successful civil war without conscription.
Initially, in a civil war, they could count on portions of the military to align with them and lot’s of Mexicans, but once they realize war is hard work, they will need a draft to supplement any UN troops and other such rot if not to man the ranks, but to at least make the force SEEM American in nature.

What happens if we all BURN ALL CURRENCY? Isn’t that the end of their plot? We already refuse to accept worthless currency, insisting on real property barters. I just got 120 acres using only 14 dollars in currency- to record the deed at the county office. The deal was a barter based on an 1866 law.

I am so tired of seeing GOP senators and congressmen speaking out about stopping Obama’s tyranny. I’m not fan of Obama, nor any other politician for that matter, but where the hell was the GOP during Bush’s regime? They were the ones who were forcing the patriot act and war funding down our throats. But, now that Obama is in office, they want to play the game of standing up for the American people. It’s such a tired game.
Anybody who can’t see through this BS game just truly doesn’t want to see it for what it is. Almost everybody knows of the corruption in politics (in ALL parties), yet nobody cares to do anything about it. In fact they jump on the bandwagon of the next new politician introduced; i.e. Obama. I honestly don’t see what all the fuss is about. Why is everybody so indignant? What is so new about involuntary servitude? Years ago, we surrendered our rights and submitted into involuntary servitude when we were suckered into paying into an income tax system yet few seemed to mind. FYI, the income tax is communistic in nature. It comes straight out of Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto (the second plank states: A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.) Want to really know your enemy? Then go to your local library and ask to borrow a copy. At present, our involuntary servitude extends from January 1st to about sometime in May (and that’s not counting the little hidden or inflation taxes that you don’t see). The ‘Income Tax’ is repugnant to The Constitution. We definitely should reconsider and go back to an equitable system of taxation as spelled out in our Supreme Law of the Land which served us so well for over a hundred years and scrap this present sham of a system.
