They want to have our country using the Euro as well. True global currency. Now to address people who might have some gray matter between their ears: Could you imagine the States in the USA each having their own seperate currency and you when travelling between them having to goto currency exchanges and get the money changed? The Euro has made economic life much easier in the Euro Zone and currency simpler for a lot of Europeans who tend to travel. Some of you folk from Holland bitch about prices going up since the change over from your old currency, gues what, I live in a country that has it's own currency and over the same time period prices on commodities and services have risen as well. It's called inflation and it usually happens over periods of time like decades. Fuel here since my childhood has gone from AUD $0.32 per litre to AUD $1.20 per litre. Such is life. Do I want a better sustainable path to walk which is humane and respects peoples rights and treats everyone decently - hell yeah but given the systems that have been in existance for centuries - prices go up.
