Liberticide? France plans to use swine flu to gut laws

In case of a swine flu pandemic the French government has a plan to introduce emergency measures that would gut legal protections for citizens, the daily Liberation reported Tuesday.
According to documents provided to the daily by a judges and prosecutors’ union, the plan would extend the period police can keep a suspect in detention without charge or a hearing before a judge to up to six months.
Suspects would also not be able to contact a lawyer until after spending 24 hours in custody.

Under the plan children could be tried in adult courts and more trials held behind closed doors.

The Syndicat de la Magistrature, a left-leaning union for judges and prosecutors, called the measures “revolting” and said they would amount to “liberticide,” and called on Justice Minister Michele Alliot-Marie to abandon the plan.
The union was due to release on Tuesday the text of the government plan, which it said was provided to heads of courts in great secrecy in July, the newspaper reported.
Swine flu, or the A(H1N1) virus, the first pandemic to be declared by the World Health Organization in this century, has so far claimed 15 lives in France, out of at least 2,837 worldwide.
The French government has conducted extensive planning to prepare for an expected new wave of infections as the autumn flu season approaches in the northern hemisphere.

I have lost all respect for Alex Jones after his HOAX Charley Sheen interview with Obama. He is a joke, infowars is a joke.
The disclaimer that the interview was a hoax was not put on till 90 minutes after it was published.
We have been had. Don’t trust Alex Jones. Oh and by the way… He closed comments on the HOAX page because of the heat he was getting.

But…but…. it was the most fantabulous, earth shattering, shocking, hugest event to EVER be on his show. Who does he thing he is P.T.Barnum?
Charlie Sheen writing a fictional short story is the biggest thing ever on Infowars????????
Sheen asking for a meeting that will never happen, asking for an investigation that will not occur and demanding answers that can no longer be answered….even if it did, there’s no evidence to prove or disprove anything, much less indict anyone. Obama should just cut the meeting down to 20 SECONDS and just say “You’re right. Now what are you going to do about it?”, then show him the door.
Just remember the 1978 House Select Committee on Assassinations. They looked into JFK and came to the conclusion that there “probably” was a conspiracy and the matter was dropped.
Besides, Sheen would be asking Barry to admit that he works for the criminals that are taking down America….like THAT is ever going to happen.
Maybe Jones is enamored with celebrity but I assure you, Barry isn’t. Jones’ credibility is also tanking daily. Especially that clip of him with the Joker makeup on, trying to hand flyers to cops in a parking lot and acting like a total baboon. Was he performing for 3 year olds???. Then, spending 2 days defending himself from Psychology Today who called him a loon? Me thinks they were ON to something.

Strange isn’t it………..after that bulls--- biggest announcement for today to keep us more diverted from the real present/future issues……..I have lost all interest in infowars for their hyped up scams, red herrings and disfo half the time. I am sure I represent alot of other ex-patriots that have given up but don’t bother to waste their time/comments on here anymore.
