Depression is also mainstream media “crap”. They used to be called panics and crashes, but they used the word depression because panic and crash didn’t go down well. You act like you know and own “your” language, but you learned it all at school. Who created it? Are you really thinking for yourself?!

Yes Ian but you miss the obvious that is staring you in the face… you need a conspiracy to create a recession!
Lindsey claims that fuel taxes have fallen dramatically along with the fall of crude oil from $140 to $40 per barrel. Such is not the case. As per the above link, taxes are set and are not a percetage of the cost of fuel at the pump. I am surprised that Lindsey is not aware of this easily verifiable fact.
Glitch Reply: February 10th, 2009 at 1:32 pm
Let’s see. Driving is down billions of miles per month compared to the same month in the previous year. Yes, I’d say fuel tax revenues are down.
As per the above link, fuel taxes are a set amount and not a percentage of the cost of fuel as Lindsey is leading us to believe. So, states are not feeling a huge drop in revenue as a result of the drop in the cost of crude oil. Wake up Mr. Williams.
bobo Reply: February 10th, 2009 at 4:18 pm
Good observation..this Lindsay guy keeps repeating the same stuff when he is on Alex Jones, nothing new to add, to be honest he was right about the price of oil and thats it really..why does Alex have such a weak minded guest like Lindsy Williams.
And Alex needs to tone down his ego and stop shouting…he sounds like a nutter. has anyone noticed that Alex eyes are way too close to each other ..he looks like a weasel!!!

The states would feel a huge drop in tax revenues from gas if PEOPLE WERE BUYING MUCH LESS OF IT!!! (in other words, demand went way down)

Ian, another example of someone who just won’t pull their head out of their ass. What more do you need? I was listening on July 28 of last year when Lindsey said oil was going to fall below $50. At that time it was over $145. Who in hell would have believed that was going to happen and yet here we have oil at $40/barrel. EVERYTHING IS RIGGED!! The Rothschilds & Rockefellers alone are worth trillions of $$$$$$’s. What do think they’re doing? Just accumulating & vacationing? This is a f---in’ game to them. We’re all pawns, dude!! I’m afraid we are headed in the direction Lindsey has outlined. I’m simply pointing out that his contention that the fall in fuel prices is hurting the tax revenue base of the states is simply not true with regard to the fuel tax. He should know this.

Dale Reece Says:

Joshua,
Your link proves my point!! It is a set cost, not a percentage.
Note that when fuel was $1.91, the cost for taxes was 24%, but when fuel went to $2.80, the cost for taxes went down to 15%, it didn’t remain at 24%. Why? Because it is a SET cost, not a percentage of the price we pay. Comprende?
If fuel costs $1.00 a gallon and taxes account for 15%, then .15 goes to the state/fed.
If fuel rises to $2.00, the state still gets its .15 not .30.
Dale
KB Reply: February 10th, 2009 at 7:38 pm
In Oregon we pay gas tax per gallon so the gas price wouldn’t affect us. Also, our stupid governor wants to get GPS tracking of how many miles you drive to replace the gas tax. They have already spent million to study it and they will try to make it a model for the rest of the states.
Bill Reply: February 10th, 2009 at 8:53 pm
Dale.. most states collect sales tax on gas in addition to gas tax, typically around 6 or 7%. $2/gallon and they collect 12 or 14 cents versus 24 or 28 cents at $4/gallon. Couple that with a major reduction in driving and I think there could be a significant drop in revenues to states. Of course add in overall spending down and major increases in unemployment and you have a severe drop in revenues. I agree Lyndsey Williams is presenting it inaccurately but I suspect the end result could be the same or close.

Ok as an engineer let me break this down. The fire in china consumed the whole building in a short period of time. That means that there was unburned weight on any one part of the building for an extended period of time unlike WTC-7 where part of the building burned in one spot weakening that area. With the pressure of a weakend part the rest of the building had to hold up more of the structure that it was designed for, as a result collapse. Good example, get a deck of cards, build a strong structure and set a corner on fire, in less than 30 seconds, it will fall. Obviosuly cards are not steel, but you can build a card house strong enough to hold a TV up if you have the correct placing of the cards and reinforce it like WTC-7 was. Other thing is WTC-7 had large diesel tanks to power the BU Generators, although diesel dont burn like gas and requires more heat, a large fire near those tanks heating them to a point of boiling inside would build up enough pressure that they would explode collapsing one side of the building. I believe this was the case of WTC-7, the side of thebuilding was weakend from the fires and the tanks finally finished the job that AL-Queda started.
Stephen Reply: February 10th, 2009 at 6:15 pm
Yes but if you look at the collapse it didn’t lurch to one side, as would be the case if it your theory of a weak spot was correct. Also if you were correct the building would fall to one side or topple, not fall straight down into its own footprint….at free fall speed. Do the physics if your really an engineer?

Face it, your government lied to you and is actively covering up the truth. Maybe the next staged terror attack will help convince you. You know it’s coming. They need to for Marshall Law. 911 was so outragous in it’s audacity! Terrorists in a cave can never make the US military defenses stand down like that. The more you look into it, the more the official story doesn’t make sense. Just look at the analysis of the 911 Commision. It’s a joke. Try to keep an open mind and really look at the data.
Aeriola Reply: February 10th, 2009 at 8:33 pm
Please spare us the nonsense dumby. WTC7 = Controlled Demolition. No random fire or facade damage can cause a 47 story high rise to collapse straight down in 7 seconds. Nothing, other than carefully placed cutter charges on key columns timed to go off perfectly. That’s why they hire pros to implode buildings straight down. It is impossible for this to happen naturally due to fires on a few floors. And f--- you with the Al Queda bulls---. That is a creation of the CIA, the false enemy that you can never beat. Dude, if you are not Cointelpro then I’d suggest you wake the f--- up and learn the truth. Nothing is what the establishment says it was. Stop being an ignorant sheep like most people.

You don’t call “The nationwide average tax on gasoline is 45 cents per gallon as of January 2009, DOWN 3.4 cents from October 2008″ a significant decrease? That is 7.55% decrease. That’s from OCT 2008 which was not at the peak of oil price.
Also you don’t call fees from 11.6 to 8.2 cents per gallon significant decrease? That’s 29.3% decline.
Now on top of that, the demand for oil at the pump in USA has dropped as well. SO YES, Lindsey was right when he said that fuel taxes have fallen dramatically.

Not So Dumb is correct except for the fact that the building did NOT fall to any one side. It collapsed in on itself. I’m unsure about at least several things:
1. I am all for revealing the true nature of almost anything — the facts, therefore I appreciate Mr. Lindsey’s book.
2. I don’t understand, even still, why we want more oil. We need to get off of oil and “nature intrusive” activities. I don’t just ecology much on statistics – everyone has their statistics, but aesthetics, that’s at least no pretending to be a science. To me, an oil rig put on top of a forest is a hideous site.
3. It seems that by “getting behind” Mr. Lindsey’s ideas, we’d be supporting more dependence on oil. If there’s one thing I love about the price of gas going up is that people drive less.

You Can’t ‘Obaminate’ the American Free Spirit
By Ron Ewart, 2/10/2009 9:26:43 AM
The rumors of the death of the American spirit and freedom are decidedly premature and she will not go quietly into the night without first engaging in a ferocious battle to retain her liberty.
It will take more than one man and a false ideology to put her in her grave. It will take much more than just robbing the treasury of our material wealth and spending us into oblivion to seal her fate. No matter what you see and hear, the real America, the heart of America, is alive and well and beginning to show her teeth, once again.
Sure, we are thrashing about and trying to get our bearings, but our bearings we will gain in time. Sure we have a false leader at the helm, but he too will flounder in heavy seas of his own making. Yes, some crazed inmates are running the show in congress and the President’s cabinet, but they will soon be hoisted upon their own petard. It’s going to cost us, but we are a wealthy nation beyond anyone’s imagination and as you will see, we can ultimately afford it.
We are wealthy, not because we have become the most productive nation on Earth. We are wealthy, not because our standard of living exceeds that of any country on any continent, or because we live in large houses, drive luxurious cars and most of us have never known the taste of hunger.
We are wealthy because of the unmistakable drum beat of freedom that beats in the hearts of the preponderance of her people. We are wealthy because of the righteous virtue we place on the value of honesty, integrity and honor. We are a people who know what is right and wrong and most of us strive to the best of our ability to do what is right and teach our children to do what is right as well. We are a good and a proud people and no power on earth will ever undo that.
We are unbeatable, not only because we are brave and courageous, but because the seed of freedom, planted there by over 8 generations since our Founding Fathers pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor in defense of our freedom, lives in the minds of all those who have looked up into the sky with hope in their hearts and reached out for the omnipresent promise of liberty.
For all those of you who are in the sound of our voice, your country is not dying. It is having growing pains. She is trying to find herself again and she is in dire need of a course correction. America has taken a wrong turn because enough of us weren’t paying attention.
We are now awakening to those growing pains, as the political earth shakes beneath our feet and we are taking a closer look at what we have become. Many have looked into the face of America and don’t like what they see. A growing number of us are looking for ways to put us back on course and no matter what anyone tells you, we CAN get back on course.
All across America, the hot red blood of the American spirit is boiling to the surface and finding new legs. States are declaring their sovereignty from a Federal Government that is power hungry and hopelessly out of control. Groups are forming everywhere, to challenge every affront to our freedom, liberty and property rights. Individuals are sending letters, calling, faxing and e-mailing their federal and state congressmen at an unprecedented rate.
More people are becoming involved in local politics and politicians, at every level, are taking a lot of “heat” that wasn’t there before. And because that “heat” wasn’t there before, the politicians thought they had free rein to do whatever they pleased, including violating the very document that they swore on solemn oath to preserve, protect and defend. They erroneously thought that our silence was tantamount to our consent. It wasn’t. It isn’t. America is a country grounded in the solid roots of liberty, unalienable, individual rights and the Consent of the Governed. Finally, the Governed are beginning to realize that they haven’t been giving their consent and as a result they have found themselves with chains around their feet and ankles that should not be there in a free country.
With a little shove and a push from those of us who have had their ear to the ground, they will break those chains and they will break them with a vengeance. Because Hell hath no fury than an American scorned and Americans have been scorned by their government for far too long. The crescendo is rising and a day of reckoning is at hand.
Because you see, you will never break the American free spirit with an ‘Obamination’.
A free and proud America will rise again! Ron Ewart is the President of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF RURAL LANDOWNERS. See more at his website: http://www.narlo.org

It doesn’t really matter how much oil is under the U.S. We import oil in order to “export” Dollars. The Billions we spend on oil and gasoline go 1.) to the offshore bank accounts of the oil companies and 2.) to the OPEC nations where the lion’s share “sleeps”in T-Bills and bonds. The need to convert other currencies to Dollars to purchase oil also makes a demand which makes a value. Stop importing oil and the effects of the inflated monetary supply would be drastically amplified. If there would suddenly be a plethora of rich independent domestic oil producers, where would they put their money? Any place in America with oil fields would see a drastic rise in the cost of living as real estate / land owners / landlords / merchants would try and suck as much money as possible into their hands and always happens when a location has a business and number of workers boom. Trickle down economics was the biggest myth of my lifetime, until 911 anyway. In at least the short and medium term, getting off imported oil and on to domestic oil would seriously hurt the pocketbooks of the average American. The corporate owned government and the oil companies aren’t doing us a favor by no means, but the “just drill here” mantra isn’t a solution either. In my non-expert opinion of course.

Chaplain Lindsey and Alex: We’re blessed to have social super-heroes such as yourselves. So my comments are respectful even if they seem doubtful.
The crude oil in the Bakken is heavy shale oil that requires complicated, costly horizontal drilling–it is expensive to get, uses much water and would result in a high price. Granted the latter may be better than the alternative as you said. The Alaska you spoke of appeared far greater. Why are you not mentioning this today? The Bakken does not debunk peak oil–Alaska might but only if it is cheap, sweet, light crude. Russia also debunks peal oil but again if it is the cheap oil.
Peak oil is real but perhaps on a well basis–after you drain a hole is has peaked. We also we have poked the world over; perhaps not.
Also your comment that one builder in Dubai must cease a concrete project is not an indictment on Dubai–frankly, I need more than that.
BTW it will take a lot to banrupkt the Saudis–not six months with a low price on the barrel. I don’t doubt the strategy esp. wehn it comes to Iran. What could bankrupt the Saudis is that they huge investments in America.
About devaluating the US dollar by issuing more fiat money out of thin air–I don’t get how Obama thinks he will crawl out with this. If every American becomes destitute from the currency losing its value you will have nihilism, panic, rebellion–once the social fabric is torn, there is no social behavior. This is catastrophic.
Here is my question: What value is it to this small elite of app. 1,000 greedy individuals to render 300 million people to this state of being? (Even the military have family–they will not stand by and particiapate in a regime that destroys their loved ones –don’t forget may are idealists). I realize you’ll say, “to gain control”. Of what?? A 300 million, hungry, thirsty, homeless mob with no dreams? Smart business men cannot realize value from this. I don’t think genocide is a plan either; Americans have vigor and will push back. If this is the plan there are not enough mercenaries to carry out the dead. The whole scheme is illogical. I need you to help connect the dots. Maybe this is what it will take to get the people to realize there is an agenda and to crush their oppressors. Pray tell.

I forgot to mention the Amero currency they will try to sell to the Americans as a solution for their valueless currency as Plan B. How presumptuous that Canadians will fold like a deck of cards in this ruinous, ridiculous plan that would bring no value to Canada; but in fact, its demise. The Prime Minister of Canada almost lost his seat last month by a vote of non-confidence in the House. This is still a looming threat. Plus no Canadian has a clue that he has pre-sold our Sovereingty. Trust me this will not happen without a huge revolt by all Canadians. They will not soon threaten their free health care and social security. Nor will they agree to blend their healthy economy and currency to shore up America’s. Say what?
This will simply not happen. Even if Harper met with Bush and Fox and agreed to do so under the pretentious Security and Prosperity Perimeter–I have read the fine print and is high treason for Harper to have agreed to this and he should be impeached.
Canada has never been under attack by terrorists and if the elite attempt to create a 9/11 here, our press is not controlled like US press–it will be uncovered in no time flat. We also have four strong opposition parties to ensure this. Amero dream on. Not on my watch. Not on anybody’s watch.

Yeah the price of fuel goes up dramatically the economy is booming the price goes down and all of a sudden gov’ts cannot balance budgets that just tells us they have a very stupid method of taxation with fuel and with other aspects of income, in particular the rich. In Canada it is even worse taxes per dollar of fuel sold are about 25 cents maybe a little more. The is just one aspect of how taxation is somewhat messed up and the rich still have thousands of ways to defer taxes and all the little dorkheaded suckwholes just keep following from behind.

Lindsey is wrong about why oil went down. Congress held a hearing on the “Enron Loophole” which was language within the Bush/Cheney energy bill which allowed rampant, unchecked oil speculation.
One expert on the panel told Congress if they changed certain language in the bill, oil speculation would end and the price of a barrel of oil would drop down under $60.00 within 3-5 months. The language was changed and the price of oil and gas dropped.
What we must remember the Bush/Cheney energy bill was written by oil/energy heads along with Cheney behind closed doors, after hours. Cheney has used executive privilege to hide who exactly was in these secret meetings when the energy bill was written. Now why would Cheney go to such extremes to hide the identity of these people. These are the people (Enron) who screwed the people of California with jacked up energy costs and energy black outs a few years ago. I’m not saying some of what this man is saying isn’t true but he is dead wrong on why oil went down in price. This seems like another distraction from the real true. By the way any Pastor that hangs out with the Elite has me feeling a bit leery about him.

Depression is also mainstream media “crap”. They used to be called panics and crashes, but they used the word depression because panic and crash didn’t go down well. You act like you know and own “your” language, but you learned it all at school. Who created it? Are you really thinking for yourself?!

Sort of. Some taxes are fixed per gallon, others are percentage….for example, in states where there’s a sales tax.

The sales tax would change . There would be a difference on the tax of $4 gas and $2 gas.

As per the above link, fuel taxes are a set amount and not a percentage of the cost of fuel as Lindsey is leading us to believe. So, states are not feeling a huge drop in revenue as a result of the drop in the cost of crude oil. Wake up Mr. Williams.

I’m afraid we are headed in the direction Lindsey has outlined. I’m simply pointing out that his contention that the fall in fuel prices is hurting the tax revenue base of the states is simply not true with regard to the fuel tax. He should know this.

f--- THE FUEL PRICES can YOU SAY “THE GREATEST DEPRESSION”?
BETTER GET A SOFT PAIR OF SHOES.
February 10th, 2009 at 12:50 pm
Joshua,
Your link proves my point!!

In Oregon we pay gas tax per gallon so the gas price wouldn’t affect us. Also, our stupid governor wants to get GPS tracking of how many miles you drive to replace the gas tax. They have already spent million to study it and they will try to make it a model for the rest of the states.
Bill Reply:
February 10th, 2009 at 8:53 pm
Dale.. most states collect sales tax on gas in addition to gas tax, typically around 6 or 7%.

Stephen Reply:
February 10th, 2009 at 6:15 pm
Yes but if you look at the collapse it didn’t lurch to one side, as would be the case if it your theory of a weak spot was correct. Also if you were correct the building would fall to one side or topple, not fall straight down into its own footprint….at free fall speed. Do the physics if your really an engineer?

Please spare us the nonsense dumby. WTC7 = Controlled Demolition. No random fire or facade damage can cause a 47 story high rise to collapse straight down in 7 seconds. Nothing, other than carefully placed cutter charges on key columns timed to go off perfectly. That’s why they hire pros to implode buildings straight down. It is impossible for this to happen naturally due to fires on a few floors. And f--- you with the Al Queda bulls---. That is a creation of the CIA, the false enemy that you can never beat.
February 10th, 2009 at 1:22 pm
Not So Dumb is correct except for the fact that the building did NOT fall to any one side. It collapsed in on itself. You may be an engineer, but so am I. Prove to me you can make a steel framed building do what all three of the WTC buildings did without using explosives.

does he talk to the “elite” all the time … or was it back in July only
February 10th, 2009 at 1:37 pm
