Local military, civilian police training builds skills

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. — Security forces Airmen kicking in doors were only part of the action during a joint training exercise, where 21st Security Forces Squadron Airmen teamed with members of the Colorado Springs Police Department, El Paso County Sheriff’s Department, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, among other police agencies.
The training was meant to bolster skills and tactics, as well improve interagency communication, vital in times of crisis.
According to Maj. John Dumont, 21 SFS individual mobilization augmentee, both military and civilian organizations practiced responding to a variety of situations they would routinely face in “real-world” situations.

The training combined classroom instruction with field training exercises where agencies practiced various special weapons and tactics techniques, explosive entry techniques and tactical movement. Explosives were incorporated to add to the realistic nature of the scenarios.
“The training familiarizes us with what each agency can offer to a particular situation,” said Major Dumont. “Overall, the training was a major success in team building and technique.”

I think people need to differentiate good cops & bad cops…not ALL cops are bad…& are needed in many ways…not in all the ways they are used of course. But to group all cops together by saying things like “fuck the police” is not right & is doing the same thing as Glenn Beck is doing to us. Just something to think about…so we dont start to turn into what we are fighting against.

Police forces are not even Constitutional, and where never envisioned or needed in the eyes of the Founding Fathers. So, all cops are bad, because they are filling role that was never intended. We the People dont need anyone protecting us but ourselves. After the real revolution takes place, let us hope that police forces never raise their ugly heads again.

Take two rolls of Teflon tape. Unroll them into a small glass jar. Pour acetone in the jar. Put on the lid.
In a day or so you have a Teflon goo in the jar.
Get hollow point bullets. Go to a bicycle shop and buy the ball bearings for the crank. J-B weld the ball bearings into the hollow point bullets, and coat them with the Teflon goo that you made in the jar.
It’s great as a wad cutter at the range! Only use an ATF approved range and obey all “gun control” laws. ( Stance, grip, trigger pull, sight alignment, ). Just in-case the targets are made of Kevlar.

You cop haters are a bunch of fools!!! I’ve been a U.S. Infantry Officer and in Law Enforcement for 15 years. Every Cop I know on the front lines is pro 2nd amendment and for the people. We having daily talks about the conditions in this country and the world. The local police at least on the west coast won’t be kicking in doors and violating rights. I also know Infantry grunts and I promise you they won’t turn on the American people. Infantry grunts are blue collar and most lower middle class and usually from gun and hunting backgrounds. The world has so many more problems than worrying about getting your guns taken. President Obama hates guns, but I don’t see him pushing any agenda. In fact the majority of Democrats have already said they won’t back any gun laws because they know its political suicide. So stop the fear mongering….please I’m tired of not being able to find ammo.

I hope what you say is the general consensus of other cops.
I do believe that there would be some serious resistance by police to “kick in doors” of law abiding Americans,that would have to push many police and military over the edge of what’s acceptable.
You obviously realize that an action of this nature would initiate a civil war that would make the one in 1861-65 resemble a minor skirmish.

What everyone is missing is the fact, if guns are outlawed then everyone owning guns will be outlaws and the police have the right to come after you on the premise you are a criminal. What everyone needs to know the Bill of Rights were written under the belief that certain rights are endowed to everyone by the “CREATOR” . Therefore the second amendment CAN NOT be taken away or LEGALY INFRINGED on. Unfortunately we are already past that point, yet police make arrest every day based on illegal gun laws.

Technically you’re right,we will be “outlaws” for holding onto guns,but many cops will see the outrageous law as unjust and criminal in itself.
That would be like outlawing home vegetable gardens,how many cops would really wish to have to arrest citizens for violating that?
There’s a limit as to what would be acceptable and I think that the only way a confiscation could take plce is by utilizing a foreign army(with GPS marks on front doors,they can now find anyone-street signs or not).

These exercises have stopped before due to public outrage – granted, they weren’t on military bases, but this one should be no different. We need to hold our local law enforcement agencies feet to the fire. Put a lot of pressure on local politicians. Other than personal ambition, their fear of losing their little political jobs is the only thing that seems to motivate them.

Not so sure you’re right about that, Q. I think the whole REASON the military is training with the cops is due to precisely what you describe. When they get scared, they call in the military equipment. They already did it in Waco and on Ruby Ridge. Those tactics are being taught and trained all over now for inplementation anywhere it is required – and the definition they use to deem it “required” has been immensely broadened.
Massive political pressure is our most effective key to success. They are FAR more scared of Ron Paul supporters because with the numbers we are amassing they know we can expose/undo their machinations from the inside and threaten their political careers … As that ALWAYS come before the good of the people.

I was in the Corps,83-87,I have no PTSD but I am less susceptible to the psychological pressures that state cops and military will attempt to use for compliance if there’s ever an attempt at disarmament(the head games of Parris Island taught me that).
The only effective way to subdue Americans will be with a foreign army that has no qualms about harming a fellow citizen.

Name? We have to give a name? In the last census I received the long form. I got out a large sharpie and wrote “1 angry white male” on the first page and “1 angry white female” on the next. A short time later someone came to my door and asked a bunch of questions which I refused to answer. I told her I filled out the census, 2 people live here thats all the info she is getting, she left very upset. A short time after that a supervisor showed up and asked a buch of questions I did not answer he left upset and angry. Then I never heard from anybody again.

As much as I wish it weren’t true,I cannot think of another reason for them to practice kicking in doors than for a gun confiscation…
Not only will millions of citizens resist this egregious violation,they will resist even more vehemently if they know that they are to be taken to some “camp”.

the pigs in california seem to have more control over the people then over themselves ! i had my house raided by them on march 25 2009 on a probation compliance search ! they planted evidence and then even made up a story saying i admitted to the evidence. i did two months in county jail for a bogus charge. no i am trying to file a complaint and no one will listen. the internal affairs does nt even want to take my complaint . what do i do for the next search >?>?? i guess ill put the handcuffs on and wait for them to come back. ill have donuts and coffe waiting for them on the dining room table .

Sure,you have neat weapons and can enjoy your power trip over citizens,but if there’s ever a martial law scenario,you state cops will be the first to be disarmed by the military-and it may be a foreign military at that.

Concerning the previous posts that stated there are good cops/soldiers that would never turn on the US citizen….that may be true but I can assure you that the same guys you joke and eat with one minute will have an MP5 or M16 pointed at your head the minute you cross them or the policies they are trained to enforce. The SP’s are no joke and are conditioned to take people down regardless of the circumstances or even friendships. Ask anyone who was in a wrong area on a secure installation. I was all for US might, etc….until I had 5 machine guns pointed at me, then handcuffed for a failed electronic access to a building I had clearance for. That’s what ‘woke me up’. When the shit hits the fan, your best friend will be a trusty sidearm, and plenty of courage.

The police belong to us the people…. Time to reclaim them before it is too late. I want everyone to think about what Rod said…. the military and police will turn on you… but also don’t forget they were military as well and have changed their stance. just like us American People, the military and the police are eventually gonna be used by the elites and other government figure heads as well…. and when they do they will realize what they have done wrong. I believe when everything finally hits the fan we will have just as large a percentage of military and police personel fighting beside us as we will have American Citizens who are fighting for our freedoms and liberties. I have had the fortune of meeting some damn fine officers and soldiers. they aren’t just good at their job but they are decent people. I know for a fact they uphold our laws and our constitutional rights and a few have even been suspended because they refused to follow orders that they were given because they didn’t feel they were right. Remember they are Americans as well and whether or not you agree with them being soldiers or officers, don’t count them out entirely.
