20,000 isn’t enough to quell uprisings. Even with active denial. Keep in mind as well, that active denial could be destroyed fairly quickly with long range rifle fire.
Also, how many troops would actively be willing to kill US citizens. The danger is the idea of iliminating posse commitatus over time. Not immediately. That is why we need to stand against this now. I have an idea of where those troops can go. To the Mexican Border, to defend you know, the ACTUAL COUNTRY. From you know, an ACTUAL INVASION.

This is ridiculous. Such blatant trampling of the constitution should not be tolerated.
I have been reading “The Gulag Archipelago” recently, and this just scares me. I hope that the military does not start knocking on doors to arrest those they feel is a “threat”. I have read countless statements of soldiers coming back psychologically unstable after war; are we actually going to unleash these guys on the streets of the United States? All it would take would be for a few to start having flash backs in the midst of keeping “order” and we could have a massacre. When one is trained to kill it becomes instinct. We must fight this!

I want to say off the bat that I am against military running in our streets. Having said that, we want our troops to come home, at the same time, they are coming home into a depression.
While some of them might use the earned money go off to college (if the gov’t still provides financial support for that), most of these people will buy shoes, purses and spinning rims, or spend it on shrinks and doctors, fixing their minds and their bodies. What are we going to do with the other 200-300k people? I think a lot of these people join these squads out of desperation… I mean, there’s nothing for them to do here, no jobs… and a lot of them have families to support.
And finally, keep in mind, that throughout history, whenever an empire expanded itself, or went on a conquest – they always urge the armies to settle in the new location and have families, etc. Breed the locals out, sort of speak. That is why they are shuffling them around in the same region… at least that’s one of the main things that I am seeing happen.
In any case, it is a lose-lose situation. Stay there and settle, or come back into a depression…

Seems to me I heard about FEMA botching up and bungling a rescue while Marines and Black Water pillaged middle class private home arsenals. Also, I love the Congressman’s assessment of the clear cut NorthCom civil violation with 1st Brigade: “inefficient misuse of assets.” What a doddering ninny using cautious PC lawyer speak instead of genuinely expressing his outrage in the accusative language he ought to be using…it’s his damn job to. It’s clear that our government machine fears us. Instead of a goverment of the people, in place to protect the people, we now have a “machine” that is most interested in it’s own self preservation. We are now at the state that our founding fathers warned us about when they spoke of the dangers of a standing army within our borders. Apparently it is not enough that our government has ALL THE TROOPS IN THE MILITARY BASES WITHIN OUR BORDERS AT THEIR DISPOSAL. Using them would require cumbersome approvals and reassignments. NO, the President NEEDS a huge group [present plan 20,000 troops] at his PERSONAL DISPOSAL. Hey no danger there, right?
The question is; When push comes to shove, when the President’s orders are CLEARLY in violation of the Constitution, what will OUR military do? Our military, all of them from the top generals to the last buck private, need to decide and declare WHO and what they will defend. Will they disarm America? Will they set up roadblocks & restrict free movement? Will they crush dissent and free speech? Will they protect the government at the cost of the Constitution and the citizens of the United States? The military needs to be asked. The public deserves to know, NOW.

A reporter was asked by the Army to publish a report that retracts the Army’s own statements, and like a good little servant it’s done. At least the coverage was somewhat skeptical in this CNN piece.

Isn’t our national guard with full automatic weapons, vehicles (land and air) not enough to help The People in case of need? Jev, the MCA has completely different implications than does Posse Comitatus. PC prohibits the military to be used to enforce the law, while the MCA allows domestic unlawful enemy combatants to be tried under military law.

The only thing this report has to do with Lou Dobbs is the fact his website flashes on the screen. Lou Dobbs is ONE OF THEM not ONE OF US. During the Bilderberg meeting in Virginia in June, he didn’t report on it. You’d think this guy, who is always portraying himself as a man of the people as he reports on the “war on the middle class,” would talk about how the perpetrators of that war were all gathered on one place. Nope. Not a mention. He is an actor. He is employed by CNN to give the illusion that is not a complete corporatist media outlet speaking for the new world order.
Lou Dobbs is a fraud.
Now, having dispensed with that, it is interesting how, at the end of the report, the Army Times “clarified” its position. Northcom would NOT use the troops for civil unrest. Of course not! What? You mean you actualy thought we were going to use these troops to….No! No! That’s just silly. It was just a misunderstanding.
When the excrement hits the whirling blades, I can’t wait to see the civil war within the army. There will be those soldiers who will do whatever they are told, including mowing down civilians. And those who will say they swore to defend the constitution and there’s no way in hell they went to Iraq just to bring it back home.

In talking to many soldiers they feel they cannot get out of the Military because of the ecomeny, the statement aree, well at least I have a job, can earn my money and other tings like that.
Many say wow most soldiers will not put up with this crap. Well the young ones will and they outnumber the old ones. Because it all comes down to making ends meet, and the statements that is made is that we gave an oath to protect the constitution, and since the constitution is a living document, then any changed that are made equals law, and to the average soldier they will enforce the law, even if they are not in favor of it.
Simple they see it ias a job, and will follow orders.
yes all branches understand what Northom is doing, but as stated above. They are doing their jobs following orders is just part of our military career. Now that the econemy is in the trash, well they will just re-up, because as friends have said, at least I still have a job.
We are in for bad times ahead.

There are a lot more then 20,000 troops. They are not going to give you the full number and do not have too because it is just a matter of national security.
We also need to remember that these are battle hardened troops, and they are badasses. Say what you will but they have toys that can’t even compare to what we have, they are organized and are a well oiled machine. It is not going to be easy by any stretch of the mind.
If we start this revolution we better be ready for the long war, because it will not end anytime soon and victory will not be easy.
Bravado is wonderful, makes one feel really good, but we also must remember that reality is a bitch.

Lou Dobbs is on CNN, and CNN is going to limit what he can say. CNN will not let him report on Bilderberg even if he wanted to. CNN will not let him report on the NEW WORLD ORDER taking shape all over the world. Even a brief comment about Bilderberg or the NEW WORLD ORDER would get him kicked off the air as fast as that reporter named Bevelaqua was when he said that Israel was wrong for invading Lebannon in 2006.
Lou Dobbs is the guy allowed to report on a few things to keep the average American from completely shutting off CNN for good, and thus tearing their ratings apart. Without people like Lou Dobbs, media outlets like CNN would lose ALL credibility with even the most alseep Americans.
Now, I watched the videos of Kitrina and I watched the military, foreign troops, and Blackwater, along with cops from all over the country, running around the high grounds of New Orleans, illegally taking weapons from law biding citizens, even old ladies, after beating them up. All the while, people where stranded in their attics waiting for help that never came.
I gotta tell ya, these troops, almost 30% of which are not even Americans, many are gang memebers, many are multiple felons, and many are on the take, do not seem for a moment to be the type that would even hesitate, for a second, from running in and killing people, even Americans, who they believe are criminals.
And they will be told that people who refuse to give up their guns are criminals, that people who refuse the FEMA camps are criminals, that people the refuse the vaccines are criminals, and that people who speak against the government are terrorist criminals, and they will not hesitate the blow an American away, for these “crimes.”
They are too stupid, too dumbed down, too uneducated, and way too asleep to go against their orders, go against their friends, go against the cops, the foreign troops, Blackwater, and the federal government to stand up for the cause of liberty and freedom, and defend the Constitution of the United States. Sh-t man, many of them have never even read the Constitution or could understand what it means even if they did read it. Otherwise, they would have already done something to protect it.
They didn’t hesitate in New Orleans from beating up Americans, from taking guns from Americans, from following illegal orders and arresting Americans who disobeyed these illegal orders, or from doing anything else they were told to do. What makes you think that a declaration of MARTIAL LAW will do anything to wake them up? Where is the line that will turn these CRIMINALS into our saviors? I mean, if it hasn’t been crossed already, then where is that line?
Our only hope is our militias, and those Americans who have guns and ammo, and are willing to fight and die for liberty and freedom. Our military is NOT on our side and will NOT be on our side whatever happens. They are as evil and corrupt as the CRIMINAL SCUM that order them around. They just don’t know that what they are doing is evil and corrupt. They think it’s all okay ’cause they have been given “color of law” orders so it must be okay.
After all, CNN, or any of the main stream media, is NOT gonna report that the military is following illegal orders or violating our rights, or breeching the Constitution. They are gonna report that our military is doing the right thing. That our military is wanted, even needed, and that our military is acting heroicly for trying to stop the “homegrown insurgents,” and trying to stop the violence.
Do you hear anyone from the 1st BCT of the 3rd ID saying that what they are doing is wrong? That Posse Comitatus is being breeched? Even when people from Lou Dobbs group points it out, the military says that it’s okay, that what they are doing is needed, and wanted, and expected since the National Guard is in Iraq. Even if people inside the 1st BCT do know better, it’s not being told by them to the media, right?
Simply said, I no longer share you hope that we can depend on our military, at any level, to do what is right over what they are ordered to do. And the people from the 1st BCT have spent 30 of the last 36 months in downtown Baghdad doing what is NOT right, what is illegal and immoral. They are NOT going to come home and shift gears. H-ll man, many of these guys are so PTSD’d, that they no longer know which end is up, and rely on amphetamines, depressants, and anti-depressants to keep them from killing themselves let alone innocent people. Do you really expect them to act like American heros?

#41, to defend the constitution it is imperative that one knows what it says and from where its ideals came. Few individuals in this country realize that the constitution does not give us rights, it merely summarizes these rights and then allows the citizens a vehicle whereby they can give privilege to representatives to form a government to protect those rights for the citizens.
The rights which the constitution describe comes from the idea of property, you own your body, yourself and with that ownership come inalienable rights. The government or even the constitution do not give you those rights they are yours automatically since no one can own you. To defend the constitution one must defend this idea, that we are all individuals who have inalienable rights which do not come from our government or even our constitution, in effect they come from God. Perhaps our constitution is eroding because people are ignorant as to where their rights of ownership come from? If you deny God, then the highest authority which gives you ownership of yourself must be an idea. But others may have different ideas, then you have competing ideas between individuals and who is to say which idea has greater authority? The state does not give us ownership of ourselves, only God can do that. Take away God from the equation and you are left with the state, a scary proposition indeed.
Ignorance is what is destroying this country it is enemy #1.

This fake government is setting up for something else. 20,000 troops by 2010 or 2011 is not nearly enough to institute martial law for the entire country. The police force in New York City alone is over 20,000 and New York’s still rife with crime. Besides, we’re already technically under martial law. Not full blown, but it’s incrementally creeping in……. I think what they are setting up for is the coming International event mentioned by Biden, Powell and Thatcher. Just two months ago there was a meeting held in Upstate New York of the top military brass. What was that about? I guess in a few weeks we’ll find out.

I have to agree with you. If people show up with weapons, then, they won’t be abused by the police. If it comes downs to shooting, then some lives might be lost on both sides. The police abuse their powers a lot during the protest, because they don’t have nothing to fear unless the people shows up with weapons. Hell, look at Greece riots, the people there are kicking ass so far. And I do not think that the Military here will really shoot Americans, some might even turn on their leaders. They should know that they are supposed to obey “lawful orders”, and if they strongly feel that the order is not right, then they supposed to not follow it. This is among the enlisted troops. Its the Officers that are mostly brainwash.

Even scarier is that Blackwater just got evicted from Iraq. At the peak number there were over 130,000 armed contractors (mercenaries and operators) earning $300-$1000 or even up to $3000 per day working in Iraq for Blackwater, Dynacorp, Brown&Root, etc. I would say the majority of the Blackwater guys are Navy Seals, Army Rangers, Army green berets, British SAS, Delta, Marine Force Recon and expeditionary. It would mean that authorities would try to immediately remove and destroy ANY and ALL debris from 911. Did that happen?
It would mean that the criminals who perpetrated 911 will do anything to avoid an investigation…unless they themselves could chose who and what was to be investigated….only as a last resort of course. Was the investigation thwarted, denied, or delayed for any length of time following 911? Did the criminals get to hand pick who would be on the investigation?
No planes would mean there would be serious discrepancies and questions of authenticity regarding any videos taken on 911. It would mean despite the number of alleged videos that would surface AFTER 911, not the day of, that no 2 videos would show the exact same “plane” in the exact same way doing exactly the same thing. For example….one video might show a light plane and another plane that was pitch black. One would show it dive bombing and another showing it going perfectly horizontal. One would show wings another would be missing wings. One would show something “underneath” the plane….another would show no such thing. One would have a deafening roar…another almost an audio whimper. Did that seem to happen with the videos that were turned in AFTER 911?
No commercial planes on 911 would expose the US media to possible fraud, deception, and serious accusations of foreknowledge and complicity. Just talking about video the DAY OF 911….how much video did the world really see? Did MSM show the entire path of the 2nd “plane” on 911…and if so…how much did it capture considering there were dozens of news helicopters in the air at the time of the 2nd strike? How much was shown the day of 911 by MSM…and how did it compare to video released after 911? (The combined footage of the 2nd strike on 911 by the MSM totaled a combined SEVEN SECONDS!!!! From 5 “vantage points”.) The entire world saw only 7 seconds of footage the DAY OF 911. Only days later after the FBI and Secret Service had time to “vet” the videos did they appear….similar to Evan Fairbanks video where he openly admits that FBI took his video from him immediately after he filmed.) Question is….are there serious problems with the authenticity of any video provided by anyone? Because there were no planes…ALL the videos would then be considered suspect and show wide ranging optical differences even though they filmed the identical same thing?
Did someone capture by video the 1st plane striking…..and was it by miraculous luck? Who took it and where are they now? According to historians…the footage was taken by the Naudet Brothers who just happened to be at the most perfect spot in all on NYC with blocked traffic and a false emergency call with the very firemen who would be first on the scene at the WTC’s. (Interesting to note that the company he was with although first on the scene had ZERO casualties on 911….the only company to do so. They were the first in….and the first ones out! The Naudet brothers had personal and professional ties to the leaders of this particular fire company. Is that the case? Has the government redacted almost all of the statements regarding precise descriptions of a missile or rocket or something other than a commercial aircraft? Have they legally threatened anyone in military, police, law enforcement, or firefighting from coming forward to give a different version of events and what was seen and done?
No planes would also mean that the buildings were brought down by something other than jet fuel. Is that the case? Does it appear that something else brought 3 separate buildings down in free-fall speed….or that something else impacted the Pentagon or Shanksville? Considering the overwhelming evidence of demolitions at the WTC’s, which by the way, all videos show the EXACT same thing of the demolition….though no 2 videos show the “plane” impact as identical?!!! Because there was no plane there would be no jet fuel. No fires could be attributed to the fuel. There would also be no smell of fuel at any of the sites. Is that the case? The smell of jet fuel at all 4 locations would be overwhelming and possibly last for months and years. (I personally have been to a crash site ONE YEAR after it took place and it still smelled of jet fuel.)
Because there were no commercial planes on 911….all subsequent wars, invasions, laws, murder, renditions, tortures, land grabs, money spent, agencies developed, soldiers killed…would have been in vain and based entirely on a fabricated, orchestrated, and conspired lie.
