Lubbock terror suspect pleads not guilty, trial set for May

A local college student accused of plotting a terrorist attack entered a plea of not guilty Monday morning. Khalid Aldawsari’s trial is scheduled for the week of May 2.

The 20-year-old former South Plains College and Texas Tech student faces up to life in prison if convicted of attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction. FBI agents arrested him back in February.
