Luke Rudkowski Arrested for Attempting to Question Mayor Bloomberg

Alex Jones’ emergency broadcast on the arrest of Luke Rudkowski
WeAreChange founder and activist Luke Rudkowski was arrested at the Hilton Hotel on Manhattan today for attempting to question New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg about his refusal to pay for the health care of 9/11 first responders. Rudkowski had Infowars press credentials and a video camera when he was singled out by Bloomberg’s security in the lobby of the hotel located at West 53rd Street and Avenue of the Americas (Sixth Avenue).

According to a post on the WeAreChange blog Rudowski and other members of WeAreChange were confronted and asked questions by hotel security and Bloomberg’s security detail. Rudkowski was apparently singled out and forcibly detained at the hotel and subsequently handed over to the New York Police, who arrested him on a charge of trespassing. Rudkowski was also charged with impersonating a member of the press.
Infowars is a bona fide press organization. Alex Jones operates numerous news websites in addition to hosting a nationally syndicated talk radio show that is currently rated as the most listened to talk show over the internet. Jones’ Infowars and Prison Planet have broken numerous stories, including one covering the MIAC controversy that was picked up by the Associated Press and mentioned by Fox News host Glenn Beck and radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh.
Luke Rudkowski has worked as an Infowars journalist for several years and his journalism is featured in Alex Jones film Truth Rising: 9/11 Chronicles, released in 2008.
As of this writing, Rudkowski is being held at the 18th Precinct at 306 West 54th Street on Manhattan. An officer Fagan answered calls in regard to Rudowski’s arrest. Infowars staff report Fagan abruptly hung up the telephone when inquiries about Rudowski were made.
The 18th precinct phone number is: 212-760-8300. A NYC information page on the internet lists the following number for the precinct: 212-767-8400.
Alex Jones and Infowars are requesting calls be made to the police asking about Luke Rudkowski’s whereabouts and the trumped up charges against him. The New York Police and Mayor Bloomberg need to be made aware of the fact there is a First Amendment in this country and it is an egregious violation of that amendment when members of the press are unduly arrested and charged.
Please remember to be polite when contacting the police and other New York City officials.

I would advise you to call the cops the next time someone is breaking into your house and of course just ask the perps to wait until the cops get there. Thinking that calling the cops when someone is in the act of breaking into your house will solve your problem is one of the lamest comments I have ever read on this site. The cops will not protect us from anything. They come in after the fact and clean up the mess, but if you are counting on them for protection you are the one who will be eaten alive.

Sounds like a lie to me. I can’t say that things may not be different in NYC but around here and I think in most places judges simply don’t work on weekends so if you get arrested any later than Friday noon you’re shure to be sitting in jail until at least Monday morning when you CAN see a judge.

Ok im from the borough of the Bronx I called manhattan borough court and yes he in there awaiting to see the judge. ( thats what they told me) my exp in there is that if you were being tough with the cops during your arrest they will tell the CO to lose your papers until your in there for 48 hrs. the longest i been there was for 72 hrs for a roach clip! so i guess he in there until tuesday or if the major gets pressure!

I just called 1:15est time. I was very polite and spoke with an officer and asked the status of Luke Rudkowski. The officer stated that yes, he was still there and that he was “downstairs in the tomb”. He stated that he would be seeing the judge later this afternoon. People in New York need to go down there and speak the the judge on his behalf!! I don’t think they are documenting the calls. You need to show up and show the power of the people!

No journalist is licensed to practice like a doctor or lawyer. So is he essentially being charged with using his Amend. 1 rights — without being part of corporate media? This is really a crucial event to look at. I think Naomi Wolfe has referred to this kind of event as a potential turning point in the closing down of an already diminished free society.

I just called 646-610-6700 the opp told me that he was arrested on trespassing charges. He is currently being transfered to central booking and is awaiting arraignment. He didnt know when he would see the judge it would be based on how many people were in the system. I asked how a reporter could be arrested he said he couldn’t speak on that.

It is about 12:20am New York time and those goombahs at the 18th Precinct are not answering the phone (I let it ring 20 times). It is too late for me to head into Manhattan at this hour but I will certainly go to the precinct in the early morning to show support for Luke if he has not been released. I attended Luke’s fundraiser for first responders last fall on 24th Street, and you know what? He is a very decent human being. We were on line outside standing in a downpour waiting for the venue to open, and he came out and talked to the security guards to see if we could all group together under the awning so as not to get soaked. He sincerely cared about the well-being of everyone who showed up for the event. That’s my first impression of him. I also then watched him on YouTube confronting David Rockefeller, and realized this guy’s got guts! I will do whatever it takes to cover Luke’s back. The world needs more people like Luke Rudowski.

I just called at 11:30 pm, and the whore hung up on me. I called back and we talked for a second. I told her she is a public servant, and demanded that she tell me the bail amount. I told her he was a legitimate press reporter, and that he was arrested on trumped up charges.
She kept saying she has no comments. I told her that we demand he be released. She hung up on me again.

I’m pretty sure under the (anti) patriot act , they can arrest and hold anyone , for any reason, for NO charges, for 72 hours , maybe longer?
I doubt they want to go that route with all these people calling and the publicity this will receive Monday morning – their argument that his press credentials are not “legit” turned into trespassing , which will also have to be thrown out.
If you guys put some of your DVD sales money (if any) towards a Consitutional attorney to challenge what will end up being detainment without cause
the silence from the rest of the press is deafening (and revealing). Could you imagine if they did something like this to a MSM reporter? I called and asked about his information and status. They said no comment. I even told them that there was no law against impersonating a reporter and the woman said no comment and hanged up. The second number listed worked, the first went to dial tone for me fyi.

I called and asked for information about bail and arrangment hearing and was told the information could not be released. I asked if this information is considered public information and the officer first stated yes but that he did not know what time the hearing was set for. When I asked for the date he said it could not be released. I retorted with, you just told me it was public information, so why can’t you tell me the date? His reply?! We aren’t telling the public anything but the fact is yes he has been arrested! Then I said what about the public information fact? Reply, “The public isn’t getting any information!” Then he hung up on me.

Called the 646-610-6700 @ 00:51 EST and asked where Luke was. I was told he was at 18th precinct awaiting arraignment and that we was going to be taken to court tomorrow morning. Until tomorrow morning when they set bail, Luke can’t be released. The best answer they could give me was trespassing. Total bullsh*t.

The folks at 311 said to call 212-374-3838 in order to find out when and where Luke is being arraigned. They tried to transfer my call to that department, but the line is busy. I then tried to call the number direct, but the line is still busy. The 311 people also said that the police precinct is not allowed to disclose what the charges are over the phone. The officers are only allowed to confirm over the phone if someone is being held at their precinct.

half an hour ago who confirmed the arrests of Luke and others as reported.
He informed me that the charge is “Criminal Trespass” and that they will be sent to central booking before arraignment. no further details were provided. keep calling everyone and remain polite but confident. alert alternative media and post the story on any and all blogs available. if we keep our cool and remain vigilant in exposing this injustice good will come from it. Luke, Manny, and Anthony are tough, but prayers always help, along with our direct action. God Bless.

okay guys, lastest update,called the 646) 610-6700 no. media relations…officer was nice..put me on hold,,, came back to phone and stated no new info for Luke except that “they”(luke,anthony, manny) were being held where it was reported until morning when the ywould be booked????
next no…212-760-8300 officer with thick accent muffled his name Junior maybe or Juarez…he put me on hold for 5 min…then a rude sounding female officer came on there and said THERE would be no info on Mr. Rudowski….and further questioning proved helpless….

I responded by telling them what I believed he was charged with, and then they told me I was wrong. I’m reminded of Nazi Germany when Hitler took power. The military police would kidnap people’s neighbors, friends, co-workers, and, generally speaking, the German people allowed this to happen. And we all know what eventually happened in that situation. We must stick together and defend our fellow human beings when these thugs strike. I am encouraged that others are sticking up for Luke. We should also email the Hilton hotel where it happened (see story at http://www.wearechange.org) and politely ask them how it is possible for people to be arrested for the non-crime of standing in their lobby, i.e. just on the suspicion of being neither a reporter nor hotel guest. How can any potential hotel guest safely walk into that hotel lobby again, not knowing whether he/she might be arrested on bogus charges because their trigger happy security can’t constraint themselves.

Luke, Manny and Anthony will be in Central Bookings in New York City until tomorrow morning
This was a set up. The NYPD knew they were coming and was told to stay in one particular spot and was never asked to leave. The Bloomberg people also told them to stay in one particular spot and was not asked to leave. Therefore, Luke, Manny and Anthony were not trespassing and were wrongfully arrested.
Manny was arrested for filming and his face was also smashed by under the care of the police in the squad car.
While in Central bookings, other people were let out of the cell, but Luke, Manny and Anthony remained in Central Bookings. The NYPD Intelligence and Bloomberg Security confiscated the three cameras with all the footage. They also kept a picture camera were snooping and looking through all the pictures. The NYPD Intelligence Officer saw photos of Luke shooting a gun at a shooting range and was asking him if he had a license for that and accusing him of owning guns without a license.

I just called the 8th precinct at 3:25am. Some guy picked up and claimed I was the first one to call about Luke Radowski. This was clearly a lie bc the phone was busy for 10 min b4 i called. Then the guy transfered me to the cheif, or “someone who actually cares”. The cheif said Luke was going to be released sometime in the morning. I also heard alot of laughing in the background as well as many other ppl have.

Don’t just call, start with the counter litigation!
If there is video taping showing the arrest that can be used as reasonable cause to file a felony offense with the new york county courts. Given it meets the standards set forth in the new york civil procedures the complaint must be prosecuted. The police officers should be charged with false imprisonment or kidnapping, whichever is applicable for new york county.
Appear before a desk officer and file the above complaint in the precinct where he was arrested. Go to an adjacent precinct within the same jurisdiction and file a complaint. Go to the county sheriff and file a complaint.
A civil rights lawyer will be able to assist in determining which of these actions are possible or reasonable to take. I wish I could help with all this. But, I’m thousands of miles away.
Don’t just get him released. You can file complaints on anyone who touches this “tarball” and go all the way to the grand jury if you have to. Use every legal instrument in your arsenal. I really wish I was there to assist with this.
What I would be glad to do is research any applicable statutes and assist with writing any legal documents. Just respond to my comment. Let them see that an offense against one of us will raise the ire of all of us.
Oh and another thing to look at would be new york state code and constitution in regards to treason against the state, or other possible penalties for taking political prisoners.

My girlfriend and I have been calling since a little after 1am. Sometimes the phone is busy, sometimes someone picks up and immediately hangs up, sometimes you actually get a person. One person said they knew who we were calling about and that “we will call you in the morning” and went on to say that they “had the internet up and see the game you’re playing”, another asked if we knew Luke’s birthday and when we didnt he said “thats what I thought” and hung up.
This last time the person told me that the NYPD is “doing stuff that matters like fighting crime” and when I inquired further he told me there was crime being committed and there were more important things to deal with and that if my little friend hadn’t been breaking press laws then he wouldn’t be in trouble. When I brought up the 1st amendment it got into somewhat of a shouting match like if Alex Jones and Bill O’Reilly were ever on the same show together. I asked if he took an oath to uphold the constitution during this and he just kept spewing the same B.S. about Luke breaking press laws.
This thing is out of hand. I know there are some decent law enforcement officers out there, but so far none of “new york’s finest” has seemed decent or even remotely interested in upholding the constitution.

He obviously has been given a trespassing warning in the past, which means don’t come back on the property. The hotel has every legal right to have him arrested if he trespasses again.

You are correct, I don’t know if he was. Just like you don’t know the truth behind his arrest. Yet, if I were to join in with the crowd on this issue I would just be adding fuel to the fire.
I simply want to use more reasoning in my opinions going forward.
I do have an absorbent amount of knowledge in dealing with the pubic within the walls of a hotel. And let’s be clear on the matter of businesses. They can have anyone they please removed from their premises and have a trespassing warning issued by the police. Once the warning is issued, the next time they do come on property. The police are required to arrest them. The police are following the law to the letter, and their opinion if a person should or shouldn’t be arrested is taken out of play.

I would imagine that he has been there on more than one occasion and has made a bad rap for himself. It f---ing doesn’t matter what the issues are. The reports say no warning was given and no prior history with the hotel is mentioned. Without a warning you can’t be arrested for trespassing, and the hotel didn’t request that he leave it was Bloomberg’s private security who told the hotel who to detain and hold until NYC police showed up. This hotel has bars, restaurants, stores and shops in it and is a very public sort of a place. Furthermore, Bloomberg was there for a press conference that Luke was attending while wearing his press credentials for infowars.com. So no, it is you who is wrong. What don’t you get about this? How different would this be if a reporter from MSNBC was arrested because he’s known for asking tough questions? Would you feel the same? None of what you’re saying matters. Places of business that are open to the public are also open for the press. The first amendment protects exactly this kind of freedom. If they request that he leave then he must do so, but not without a warning. You can’t arrest someone if they haven’t actually broken any laws just because you don’t like the person. A “do not trespass” sign wasn’t posted because you don’t do that at a place of public business. I don’t know where you get off as such an authority on this because you’re disregarding the pure fact that his first amendment rights were violated. The courts define a member of the press as anyone who reports for any organization engaging in public commentary. You don’t seem to get this because you’re clearly a fed. And if you aren’t.. well they are looking for people like you. Illiterate, crude, rude, prone to violent outbursts and a lack of ability to express yourself without expletives is exactly government material.

The key point is that Bloomberg’s security detail is who identified Luke, not the hotel security. He wasn’t banned from the hotel, he was just disliked by Bloomberg who is affraid of being confrtonted by him. There is nothing you can say to this except to continue to curse and make absurd unrelated arguments.

It’s really no surprise. Look how many times the Rev. Billy has been nicked in New York. The pisser was when he was arrested in Union Square for reading out the Bill Of Rights through a megaphone. New York has been a fascist police state since 1996 during Guiliani’s first term. Bloomberg has decided that he will be dicatator for life in New York. So this is typical.
Luke Ridowski will be freed within a couple of days. By the time he sees a judge, the case will be dismissed out of hand. This is simple harassment. He will be put through the system for 2-3 days and then freed.
However, there needs to be a lawsuit filed againt New York’s Fattest. Sadly this is all too commonplace.

Apparently, in NYC, police-issued press credentials are a requirement for this sort of thing. I wasn’t aware of that and it’s possible Luke was unaware as well. Either way, it certainly doesn’t sound like an offense worthy of arrest and all the drama. The cops were just clearing away an annoyance and sending a message to others: “Your liberties mean nothing here.”
It sounds like Luke is going to have to lawyer up. If so, we should probably look to putting together some kind of fund to help him out. He’s done so much for so many people that it would be a shame not to stand with him on this one.

To say Luke was arrested for no reason is false. Luke was arrested because “Baron Bloomberg” ordered it. Police no longer protect and serve the public. Police are being used as a private security force for the rich and powerful. Bloomberg whispered to one of his minions and even if Luke wasn’t breaking the law. Luke got under the “Barons” skin. Keep it up LUKE redouble your efforts. The police can “detain” a person for anything but they can’t keep him for more then 24 hours. Since it’s on a weekend they will drag it through the weekend. UPDATE:
I just got back from 100 CENTER STREET this morning and spoke to the officer at ROOM 131.
I asked if the public is allowed to attend Luke’s arraignment, and he said yes.
The officer then told me that NO COMPLAINT HAS YET BEEN DRAWN UP FOR LUKE RUDOWSKI.
He also said that LUKE’S CASE WILL BE EXPEDITED.
However, he then added that UNTIL A COMPLAINT HAS BEEN DRAWN UP, THERE IS NO CASE TO EXPEDITE!!
So then I ask does he have any idea when to expect the arraignment, and he says it could be later today, it could be Monday morning, he really can’t say since NO COMPLAINT HAS BEEN DRAWN UP, so therefore THERE IS NO CASE AGAINST LUKE AT PRESENT.

If you live in New York and want to show the people in power that we are watching what they are doing, here are the directions to 100 CENTER STREET: Take a Manhattan-bound IRT 4, 5, or 6 TRAIN to the BROOKLYN BRIDGE/CITY HALL station, then walk about 3-4 blocks north to 100 CENTER STREET (the building is on he right side of the street if you come from this direction). You need to enter the building through the SOUTH ENTRANCE. When you get to the doorway, you will find that they have blocked off the PUBLIC ENTRANCE with a huge garbage can. Don’t be deterred, just go in through the left doorway marked EMPLOYEES ONLY. You will need to go down the hall, make a right, then look for the second door, which is ROOM 131. Also wear as little metal as possible, since upon entering the building you will need to put all your possessions in a tiny basket, walk through a metal detector, and then be wanded by an officer. It is just like going through airport security. Know why? They are taking you for a ride!!

Hi Deeptoad — I asked the officer what are the charges, and he said that he does not have that information available. Basically, he is just a guy in a uniform sitting behind a plexiglass window with a computer printout of who is scheduled to appear before the judge. He couldn’t even say if Luke was still at the 18th Precinct or if he had been transferred to Central Booking. I asked him if there was anyone else I could speak to, he told me no.

When you are arrested, things are very similar in the USA and the UK.
Assuming they have something to charge you with, they can elect to bail you back to the police station at a later date, or keep you detained and present you to a court ‘The Next Lawful Day’.
This freedom of choice whether to detain for court or release ‘pending enquiry’ is one of the biggest abuses of modern police power. Invariably, for anyone the police don’t like or regard as an ‘agitator’, arrest on a Friday, when the courts are closed until at least Monday (or even later on national holidays), means you are in for what cops call a ‘Long Weekend’.
It is regarded as a form of powerful yet easy harassment, in that even if the arrestee is ultimately found completely innocent, they will have nonetheless suffered the terror and harassment of at least a few days in police cells -which are often squalid, dirty and dangerous places.
The decision to keep the person locked-up over a weekend for court is tested by whether or not the ‘interests of justice’ will be served, eg if society will benefit from it. Clearly, even the trumped-up charge again Luke is very trivial on any view, and therefore his detention, even if you accept the possibility of the trumped-up charge, is wholly unjustified. He is not at risk of assaulting anyone or fleeing justice!
This stinks to high-heaven and is the police-state in action. I urge all decent good police officers (we know you are out there) to get on the telephones and kick-up hell. This is tyranny in action and no cop of good conscience can sit by while this young man is stitched-up and his constitutional rights are trampled on, by de-facto criminals hiding behind a badge.
C’mon good cops, it’s time for you all to start choosing sides now.

Have just called 00 1 (646) 610 6700 NY Police Department (although not 18th precinct as it was constantly engaged). Talked to a woman officer who informed me that Luke will be being charged with criminal trespass and will appear before a judge prior to being released.
She did not indicate any timescales on this.

Luke deserves everyone here who believes in the fight against the NWO to support him in any way we can. He has courage beyond most of us and the way he has been treated is just typical of the tyranny we will all face if we don’t stand up against it now.

Introduction

Although what someone is doing on their property may be illegal, such as the unpermitted filling of wetlands, this does not diminish their property rights, and citizens should understand the law of trespass in New York before they investigate. In New York, the entrance onto the property of another may result in two kinds of trespass: criminal and civil.
Criminal Trespass
Under § 140.05 of the New York Penal Law, “[a] person is guilty of trespass when he knowingly enters or remains unlawfully in or upon premises.” The law states that “[a] person acts knowingly with respect to conduct or to a circumstance described by a statute defining an offense when he is aware that his conduct is of such nature or that such circumstance exists. Under the law, “[a] person ‘enters or remains unlawfully’ in or upon premises when he is not licensed or privileged to do so.” Trespass is a violation, meaning it is an offense . . . for which a sentence to a term of imprisonment in excess of fifteen days cannot be imposed.”
The law provides an exception to criminal trespass in certain circumstances: “A person who enters or remains upon unimproved and apparently unused land, which is neither fenced nor otherwise enclosed in a manner designed to exclude intruders, does so with license and privilege unless notice against trespass is personally communicated to him by the owner of such land or other authorized person, or unless such notice is given by posting in a conspicuous manner.”
Based on the above, in order to prove that someone is guilty of criminal trespass, the prosecution must: (1) prove that the defendant knowingly entered or remained unlawfully in or upon land, and (2) negate the exception for unimproved or apparently unused land.
It must be proved that the person charged with trespass “‘knowingly’ entered the premises without license and privilege and, therefore, a person who enters upon premises accidentally or who honestly believes that he is licensed or privileged to enter, is not guilty of any degree of criminal trespass.” Therefore, a person who enters land with permission, or believing she has permission to do so, or by accident, is not guilty of criminal trespass.
A person also is not guilty of criminal trespass if she enters unimproved and apparently unused land that is not enclosed unless she has received word from the owner that she does not have permission to enter, or it is posted with “No Trespassing” signs. The New York Court of Appeals has held that “[n]o prosecution may be brought for trespass in violation of section 140.05 of the penal law when the intruder ‘enters or remains upon unimproved and apparently unused land, which is neither fenced nor otherwise enclosed in a manner designed to exclude intruders,’ unless the prosecution can show that notice against trespass was personally communicated to the intruder by the owner of such land or other authorized person, or unless such notice was given by posting in a conspicuous manner.” New York Courts have rarely addressed what constitutes “unimproved and apparently unused” land, but the Court of Appeals held that the prosecution failed to negate the statutory exception where there were no signs on the land, it was neither fenced nor enclosed in a manner to exclude intruders, there were no residences within a mile, and it was “unimproved and apparently unused land.”
Civil Trespass
In addition to criminal trespass, a person who enters another’s property may be liable to the property owner for civil trespass, for which the owner can sue in a civil case. In New York, “the essence of trespass is the invasion of a person’s interest in the exclusive possession of land.” “Liability for civil trespass requires the factfinder to consider whether the person, without justification or permission, either intentionally entered upon another’s property, or, if entry was permitted, that the person refused ‘to leave after permission to remain ha[d] been withdrawn.’” A person who asks or hires another to enter land, even though he does not personally do so himself, also is liable for trespass. Therefore, in a civil case the jury will find trespass occurred if a person entered, or hired or asked someone else to enter, the land of another. Unlike criminal trespass, a person does not have to “knowingly” act for liability to attach; the mere act of entering another’s land without permission or justification constitutes trespass.
Once liability is established in a civil trespass suit, the property owner may be entitled to damages. “‘Damages’ means a sum of money awarded to another person injured by the [intentional act] of another.” In the case of trespass, a plaintiff may be awarded nominal, compensatory and/or punitive damages.
Nominal damages are a trivial sum of money awarded to a litigant who has established a cause of action, but has not established that he is entitled to compensatory damages.” Some damage without actual proof of injury is always presumed from trespass to land. “An entry into the land of another constitutes a trespass even though the damages are slight or there is no damage, and gives rise to an action for nominal damages. Even the most innocent of trespassers is liable for nominal damages as a minimum.” In one case, the court awarded $1 in nominal damages.
“‘Compensatory damages’ are the damages awarded to a person as compensation, indemnity or restitution for harm sustained by him.” A landowner may be able to collect compensatory damages for the costs of repairing any harm to the property as a direct result of trespass. For example, when trespassers removed ground cover, dunes and shrubbery, a court awarded compensatory damages in the amount necessary to restore shrubs and beach grass and the costs of bulkheading the dune and for fill and topsoil. A court may also award compensatory damages for the diminution in value of the property from physical damage that cannot be repaired.
Punitive damages for trespass are designed to discourage interference with property rights. They will only be awarded if the plaintiff proves (1) actual malice which involves an intentional wrongdoing, or (2) such conduct as may be tantamount to a wanton and willful or a reckless disregard of plaintiffs’ rights. In the above case where compensatory damages were awarded, the court held that the defendants’ refusal to carry out restoration despite their guilty pleas for violation of Town Ordinances for the destruction of shrubbery and continuation with the construction project for which they carried out the landclearing was tantamount to reckless disregard of plaintiffs’ rights and awarded $10,000 in punitive damages.

To Whom It May Concern:
There is a man from New York now in a New York City jail.
He was arrested by New York police for being armed with a video recorder and a microphone.
His name is Mr. Luke Rudkowski.
He is a journalist for http://www.infowars.com.
His crime? He wanted to ask questions to the Mayor of New York – a representative of the people – about 9/11 first responders.
According to Luke, there are many NY firemen and policemen, and others, who are now at death’s door from breathing toxic dust from the collapse of the World Trade Centers in 2001 – they are not getting enough financial support from their American government. Many have died already.
This is not whether Mr. Rudkowski believes 9/11 was an inside job or not.
It’s about being arrested by New York police for asking questions.
It seems Americans, like Luke, are now going to jail for raising their hand wanting answers.
If the U.S. Constitution no longer applies to the police, where does a citizen go for justice?
Is this not state tyranny?
As I write this letter, Mr. Luke Rudkowski, a citizen, is in jail for no crime.

Also we have to ask questions like was there a no trespassing sign? Was he asked to leave? How can you mistake a camera for a gun? What law is their against impersonating a member of the press? I am sure Alex knows more details about the arrest and hopefully will share them this afternoon. I tried to call but did not get an answer, so I do not know if Luke has actually been released or not, as a few people commenting here have said.
All it is going to take is just one incident…….just one to set people off. A part of me hopes this could be it and a bigger part does not.
What I do wish is that twice as many people that stood at the capitol when Obama took his so called oath, would be standing there again in protest of what is happening. But the fact is. With control of the mainstream media……..the pursestrings…..the military……The elite can do about anything they want, and make the majority of people be content with it.
I also think that hounding the news departments of your local TV stations and media outlets with this story might be a good thing to do. If they get bombarded about a story to the point of circuit overload they might have to comment on it.

I just spoke with an officer, they said Luke is being held in the criminal court system awaiting arraignment. Which means he is in detention awaiting to see a judge on Monday morning. The charge is criminal trespass.

He had a valid press and was NOT trespassing. He wasn’t informed that he didn’t have the right to be in the hotel lobby. They didn’t even ask him to leave. Bloomberg’s goons spotted Luke in the lobby and told the police to arrest him immediately,without the hotel telling him to leave. That’s like if I walked into a Wal Mart (which is private property, but I have every right to shop their) and I am arrested without just cause or without being informed that I am not allowed to be in the store.

I correctly identified myself, Mich ael K obzina, as a precinct captain of the Jeffco GOP, and state deligate. The individual I was speaking with mumbled his name. His badge number is 6176. I asked why Luke Rudowski was falsely being held. He said he had no comment. I asked if he knew if Luke Rudowski was kidnapped by NYPD, from a public-access lobby of a hotel, without being charged. The response was “I did not know that”. I told the officer that Luke is being held, now for supposedly impersonating the Press, when infact Luke is with the Press. I also asked the officer if he knew that Luke was being held falsely. The officer responded “I did not know that”…. I then suggest that he look into why Luke Rudowski is being held, falsely. The officer said “I will do that — and you take care, brother….”. I responded “Thank you”, and hung up…. Keep CALLING : 212-760-8300 Please make clear that You beleive that Officer Thagan, and anyone in the NYPD involved with this ILLEGAL kidnapping, should have an internal investigation done on them. If Luke as I’m sure he does has press credentials and he was acting as a reporter in his official function as such for Infowars.com, then their charges are bogus, and therefore null and void, now this doesn’t stop the New World Order establishment from doing a psy-op on him trying to scare him. The best thing Alex or the community can do for Luke right now is to get him lawyers appointed and fly them out there, the cops can’t just hang up on lawyers like they can citizens, there are repercussions.

Wow whats the big deal with this story. I was arrested jailed and charged with disorderly conduct in Georgia, for displaying a US flag union down, I was also falsely accused and later cleared by secert service after US Border Watch president Curtis Collier who is also a speaker with the John Birch Society lied and said I was going to kill Bush I was cleared, my home has been shot at too and much more I can tell, and now Luke where was he and others when all this happened to me I will tell you no where.

I remember hearing a story on alex about flying a upside down flag, I believe it was an older couple… don’t know if that was u Anyhow, don’t know what can be done about this now but always keep in mind we’re no superhero’s, and we don’t control what motivates people and what doesn’t. When arrested on Saturday or early Sunday morning. You are able to see a judge around 8am-9am as they usually have lots of folks in the drunk tank and they are sober enough to get out. There is not a bail for the charges on little stuff like this, they usually let you go after confirming a court date and having you sign a paper acknowledging that you will show up.

At 9:29PM EST I was able to reach the NYC downtown booking station at (212) 374-3921 . I spoke with an officer Bradley. He told me that at 1800 hours (6pm EST) Luke was released on his own recognizance and had been charged with trespassing. He told me he could not confirm any additional charges because his “screen” would only show one charge. He was unable to tell me the status with Manny and Anthony, but gave me the court clerk’s number (646) 386-4545—Officer Bradley stated that I could try to get more info from them and that they could be reached now. I called but there was no answer and the phone system does not allow voicemail.
I’d like to encourage people to call “311″ in NYC and make a complaint to Mayor Bloomberg. This is the only way by phone to leave him a message. I called earlier and left a complaint that this arrest was illegal and that Mayor Bloomberg needs to know that people are not going to put up with this. WHEN YOU CALL 311, MAKE SURE YOU GET A “SERVICE REQUEST NUMBER” FROM THE PERSON YOU SPEAK WITH. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LEAVE YOUR NAME WITH THEM.

I just got off the phone with the 18th presinct. Its Sunday 8pm central time and Luke is still in custody. The officer was suprisingly polite and said that Luke was not charged for immitating the press but some other charge that he wasnt willing to tell me on the phone. I told him that luke was indeed a member of the press and a real Patriot and should be released ASAP. He then said that my phone call was dually noted and thanks for calling………….WEIRD

Around 6:15PM ET today, the following journalists
were freed from the tombs of the New York City jail.

All three journalists were freed on their own recognizance and
were not required to post any bail.
Their next appearance will be at a hearing in NYC next month.
The journalists appeared before the Honorable Judge Mark Witten
with a court appointed lawyer from the Legal Aid Society.
The three were arrested Saturday evening inside the
New York City Hilton where the Honorable Mayor Michael
Bloomberg was scheduled to receive his awards and accolades.
These three young journalists entered the New York City Hilton
with microphones and cameras to question Mayor Bloomberg
about his failed promises to assist the First Responders.
The First Responders are the heroic rescuers who attempted
to save lives in the hours following the September 11th
2001 attacks.
Most of, if not all First Responders are now seriously ill as
a result of breathing in the toxins released into the air from the
collapse of the World Trade Center twin towers.
All three journalists have been charged by the District Attorney
of the City of New York with 3rd degree “Criminal
Trespassing”.
Their alleged crime?
Apparently, they couldn’t produce the
“Official” New York City “press credentials”.
All video recording cameras and accessories
were confiscated by the NYPD during their
detainment.
Appearing outside 100 Centre Street, all three
initially appeared free from any visible injuries.
When asked for comment on his arrest, Mr.
Luke Rudkowski said;
“We were set up and ambushed” referring to his
failed attempt to interview Mayor Bloomberg.
“The cops were cool, but its hard times being
in there”, referring to the holding cell where
up 50 inmates were required to sleep on the floor.
The three were allowed only one meal during their
incarceration:
The Mayor Bloomberg Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich.
This sandwich was fed to all prisoners today.
The three described the sandwich as “Grey slop which
consisted of filthy, soggy bread that came off with
the peanut butter.”
This Mayor Bloomberg special Sandwich was served with spoiled, sour
milk in a carton decorated with a picture of the latest
missing child from New York City.
Inquiring minds want to know the cost to the taxpayers
of New York City for this fine meal. $50 per sandwich
perhaps?
Once outside New York County (Manhattan) Criminal Court at
100 Centre Street, journalist Anthony Varias
noticed the inscription in the architecture of the building
that is etched:
“Equal and Exact Justice To All Men of Whatever State
or Persuasion”.
Mr. Varias pondered aloud,
“If this were true, Mayor Michael Bloomberg would
be in there under arrest and facing criminal charges
for corruption and malfeasance”.

I phoned the 18th Prec. at about 2200 CST. They would not give me any info, and referred me to central booking. Central Booking hung up on me and would not answer again. I phone inmate info and they had no record. They said if Luke was held, he “was not in the system” I informed all that I spoke to that I would like to know where he is, so that as a Clergyman I might visit him. I feel so strongly about this that I would gladly spend my own money to fly to NYC and visit Luke. This type of strong armed behaviour from the Police State is getting totally out of control! As a member of the Clergy, I feel that it is my duty to help in any way I can. The ONLY way we can affect change is by going after the hotel…For the charges to stick THEY must be the ones doing the charging….So Call the Hilton Hotel at 212-588-7000. They may not be held solely responsible but the sure are a big contributor…BOYCOTT ALL HILTON HOTELS UNTIL WE ARE HEARD.

wow, michael. Have you even heard any of the questions Luke asks? I’m sure he would ask them in a “legitimate” foum were he not illegally arrested. Besides, it sounds like you have pride in your city and may even have NYPD affiliations. This would lead me to believe that you would want the first responders to get their due medical treatment owed them by the city of New York, if not the Feds. Good point about the 1st Amendment up above. If the 1st is violated by the government, then the people have no choice but to increase its use of the 2nd Amendment to guard against further tyranny.
Boycott many things from now on. Boycott, any business having to do with Bloomberg. And Boycott companies that are getting large billion dollar bailouts. Boycott, the Hilton hotels if they are involved in false arrests or corruption, and besides they typically are not very good hotels anyway, but they seem to get very good locations.
If you are unemployed, start your own survival plan or own company. Stop working for large corrupt companies or corrupt government agencies.
