Major International Transport Hub Censors Political Websites

While establishment media outlets in the UK spent most of last week reporting on China’s censorship of political websites in anticipation of the Olympic games, they ignored the fact that London’s St. Pancras International, one of the biggest transport hubs in the west, has already implemented stringent filters that block users of their wi-fi service from accessing even mildly political websites.

Traveling through St. Pancras in order to board the Eurostar on my way to Switzerland, I had an extra couple of hours that I thought I would fill by checking in on some of my favorite alternative news websites.
Upon clicking on my favorites menu and selecting prison planet.com, I was quickly met with a white screen and bold black text informing me that the website in question was blocked and could not be accessed.
Was this some kind of a technical error? No, as I was soon to discover that all websites affiliated with Alex Jones are blocked in St. Pancras.
Not only that, but even far milder left-leaning commentary websites like thinkprogress.org were on the same blacklist. In fact, every non-mainstream news website was inaccessible.
By the way, when I visited Communist China last summer, which filters every website through a government blacklist, prison planet.com was not blocked and neither were any other English language alternative news websites.
Internet censorship of alternative news websites is worse in London than it is in Communist China. The hypocrisy was painfully evident as I sat reading newspaper headlines about how evil China is for censoring anti-government material while London’s biggest transport network, which recently underwent a £300 million regeneration, did exactly the same thing with not so much of a peep out of London’s broadsheets or tabloids.

St. Pancras connects to Kings Cross station and the London Underground. Perhaps it was our exposé of the fraud of the official story behind the 2005 London bombings that irked the censors, yet there is little explanation for also blocking a website like thinkprogress.org, which doesn’t even cover UK-related issues.
This is another precursor to Internet 2, where only government-approved websites that have obtained permission by means of an accepted registration application are allowed to be seen by web users.
It’s also a stark reminder about how our media has diverted all attention concerning Internet censorship towards what is happening in China when the exact same control measures are being put in place right here at home.

It appears that the U.K. is being used as a testing ground to see how much oppression people will endure before starting a revolution.
Unfortunately, America is following closely on the heels of the U.K. in that after each successful power-grab and loss of another freedom in the U.K. within a short span of time it is mirrored here.

While using my son’s computer which has net nanny installed for security, I often have to override my favourite sites as they are classified as “hate” or “violence” and the newest being “illegal activities”. Once, on following links, a page came up saying “you are not authorised to view this material” from Jose at the National Clandestine Services (A branch of the CIA)
We are being filtered, flagged and watched.

By banning or censoring sites in the U.K., it shows a lot. They, being business and government, have everything to fear from alternative points of view and factual depictions of events they want to control if they can. Fill it full of Sky News, Fox, and Sports and noise. Distract the masses from truth and alternative views. How funny, just over a month ago China boasted how it would allow Net users to access the BBC for the first time. Big deal.
In light of the massive disinfo put forth by the BBC concerning the Controlled Demolition of Building 7, which any sane person can see for him or herself precisely what it was, this does not come as a surprise but is part of some stupid “let’s model ourselves after Communist China” effort. Then it was the Guardian that went full throttle to disinfo on Bldg 7, only to finally be forced to admit that some conspiracies do happen.
What the bloody hell do they think they can do to bright young people or people of any age, subvert the truth and then block the truth tellers? Only fear would cause this to happen. The truth about the 7/7 tube attacks is another clear example. Just block it, cover it up, then pretend the truth never happened. A technique used by repressive regimes all over the world.
Turkey continues to deny that it had a role in the genocide of 1.5 million innocent Armenians in 1915 and it continues to this day. Officially deny. Block access to information and sites. They tried and failed. Now the information is everywhere. The government can say what it wants.
If governments are innocent of what they have done, what is there to hide? Oh wait, I recall people being placed on idiotic terrorist watch lists just for innocently or with some decent purpose using a video camera. A stupid little digital camera. Will hearing this make me interested in going to London for the 2012 Olympics, hell no. Beijing II?
Obviously the so-called list makers have determined what to allow and what to disallow. SHAMEFUL.
Neither the US nor the UK are chaotic societies in the very large part. This is due in to the fact that information freely flows for those who seek it. The controllers have the script backwards.

lisa #2 do not be in perpetual paranoia. Any good programmer can introduce a man-made list of what they want to block. Such as which IP’s present so-called issues to them, etc. When you consider how many intentional and unintentional errors are made in databases all over the world, just take a deep breath and be sad for their stupidity. EVERYTHING CAN BE MONITORED. Project Echelon with its packet sniffers was the most sophisticated of its kind and that was back in the 90’s.
Without freedom of the press and freedom of the Net, good, free societies cannot thrive. The Stasi in East Germany proved it. People snooping on their neighbors, BORING. Telephone lines bugged all over the country. Rampant poverty. Why do you think so many Germans and other living in East Germany rejoiced when the wall came down? The sick monster state apparatus was gone. Romania same thing.
America stands for FREEDOM. We are feisty, kind, hard working and must always work to keep our freedoms. Most Americans have little time for BS and they have an even shorter tolerance for the concept of living in a controlled society. Of course we need some control to maintain normalcy, but in large part, Americans do very well on their own independently. Call it the Frontier Spirit or the Spirit on which the nation was founded. That spirit is alive and well in strong and brave people.

I do appreciate your words of comfort and believe in the land of the free and the home of the brave but I just wonder how long the brave will remain free. I think the only reason the alternative press is allowed to spew the ugly truth is because they know the majority of people don’t care, won’t believe or they just have their heads deep in the sand.
Although, people are beginning to awaken (cause it’s hard to ignore bank-runs and such) and the more that awaken the sooner the alternative press won’t be so free.

Just use a free proxy server to get around this, many are available. That way it looks like you are going to just one site to their network, they don’t know which websites you are going to and thus they can’t block it.

Just passing the word. Any Alex Jones related videos I try to view play for only 2 seconds then it stops! Same thing for the 2012 related videos. Also anything illuminati too. This censorship is bull. We need to go after the key players in this game.

I’ve experienced similar. I was without internet for about 3 months last year. I tried to access infowars/prisonplanet at my local library in Manchester, UK. Other news websites were working however.

#12, Tim, I have been having the same problem, I stupidly thought that it was a software / hardware problem. But where there is a will there is a way, thanks to the p2p networks, you can pretty much get anything, uncensored.

This agenda is globalized and we’re all going down together if things go as planned unless our agenda is globalized.

A simple keyword policy implemented by the major ISP’s could shut down “non-approved” sites almost immediately. It’s interesting to note, however, that the ham radio community has had it’s own over-the-air internet for over ten years. And I suspect that if censorship gets bad enough we’ll begin to see “private” internets (using their own private routers and name servers) popping up all over the place. And if THEY started getting blocked we’d begin to see an explosion of dial-up BBS’s just like we saw in the early 90’s. Now that the world’s had a taste of unfiltered imformation I don’t think there’s anything that anyone could do to stop people from getting it.

I try to listen to everything people bring up–when Walt called in the other day and mentioned the Vatican Assassins and Alex cut the guy off, well, that is all it took for me to go watch the videos about that–I found it really interesting–I’d never heard of the Jesuit connection before–(Thank You Walt!)fascinating. It sounds VERY plausible.
But that Cooper video was not even informative. Alex said that guy who wrote the book about the Vatican believes in flying saucers and a weird God, but I didn’t find anything unsound in his Biblical analysis–sounds like maybe he is in to predestination like the Calvinist or something, but if I let that upset me, I’d despise every primitive Baptist around. Maybe he said something bad about Alex at some point and Alex did say “I don’t believe in his God!” Well, to each his own.

It has its own Secure Firefox browser. Go secure before you enter web address in areas where filtering is pressent. The filters will not be able to read the Secure SSL data.

We moved here in 1998 because of a great and continuing employment opportunity but that is beside the point.
Yes, there are Brits here that feel as described (made easy by some of the foreign policies that this very website exposes). Unfortunately,America has become the patsy for most of the worlds woes. But just like in America there are lots of people in the UK with their heads in the sand, oblivious to the bigger and uglier picture and the complicity of all nations involved in this supra governmental takeover. And just like in America, there are a lot of people beginning to wake up.
There are those who make broad sweeping generalisations on both sides of the pond but as I said in my previous posting, NOW is the time to unite and fight this Global Monstrosity before forums like this are only available on ham radio.
If you don’t think America is just as “doomed” you are in for a rude awakening.

When Brits and Americans, indeed ALL free-minded anti-NWO folks get together, we see we have FAR more in common than could EVER separate us. We know the entire ‘western’ governments are all run by this NWO cabal and we have to fight it together. Whether the real seat of the NWO turns to be somewhere in the UK or Washington, I don’t know, but they are dangerous and we need to focus on THEM, not daft squabbles. They want us to squabble, to Divide and Conquer… if we’re bitchin’ about Brits are bad, Yanks are good, Yanks are bad, Brits are good etc etc, then they can carry on unseen, plotting against The People -wherever we are, while we fight squabbles.

I am sitting on a bench in St. Pancras Station listening to the radio stream and posting to Infowars.com
It is true the St. Pancras wireless restricts usage to only “approved” sites. These are very few; BBC and travel agents (that is, with possibly 6 or so exceptions, it).
However I can tell you that the “LePainQuotidien” wireless network (located within the main station) has (from what I can tell) full coverage. Good ‘ol French!

CAN be and IS are two different things. Do you realize how many people that are former government employees that took some of that knowledge with them? Stop giving them that much credit. They CANNOT monitor everything (communication wise).
Technology has been matched with the good and the evil and Echelon is no more than capturing AIR WAVES/SIGNALS bouncing from place to place/satellite to satellite. They CANNOT track everything. And IF they could, do you know what type of HUMAN manpower it would take for them to go through ALL of that data just to pin-point their source(s)?.
All be it, it’s the creation of the NSA spying program, it’s not as powerful as it was led on to the public. The Echelon gets it’s help from the telecoms/isp providers. If they didn’t go along with it, Echelon would just like it was back in the nineties, but even though they are more sophisticated now,.. just remember this much too… GOD made man more intelligent too.
Echelon is known as the most secretive spy program on earth, yet, EVERYONE knows about it. So much about that secret. There are people all over the world counter-attacking illegal government programs used to harm the population.
Did you know that according to communication experts from the top places in the computer/security world have confirmed that VoIP CANNOT be tracked in real time? Because in order for you to call anyone you would have to send your signals (touch-tones) through a system which alarms the lookers. But, while you’re already online, they can’t tell when you make a call automatically. But if you use services like Comcast, AT&T, and those other mainstream services, you can be tracked. But if you use a VoIP server other than those AND you’re using TOR, AND you’re using an ip blocking program like PeerGuardian 2, they CANNOT track you, nor monitor your calls at all, because it’s in real-time and it’s not stored nor can it be retrieved from online.
If you say your isp can do that, then if you are using TOR and PeerGuardian 2, they will NOT be able to track you. Keep in mind that the government is supplying isp’s with ip addresses they want blocked, and they may also know your surfing habits and may be doing that way too. Either way, you’re under the scope. But,, if you use what I use, we, the people will put Echelon back in the 90’s, and if not, it wouldn’t be able to go any further than it has gotten so far.
And for ALL of you that are PAYING for ANY type of PROXY services, or even using web based proxy services, you are probably being monitored by the F.B.I. .. NOT the NSA.. the F.B.I…. they call them “honey-pots”. Do a search on it…. but make sure you’re using the tools I’ve mentioned because GOOGLE has a log of every-single thing you’ve ever typed in in their search engines. And if they are indeed working with the feds, you’re searches are going to be in their hands.
As much as I support EVERY NON New World Order web site on the Internet, I NEVER visit ANY of them without my protection, whether you think it’s protecting me or not. At least I’m not just a sitting duck and a positively identified ip/internet user… That’s the whole point. Don’t be afraid, and don’t let them fearmonger you into thinking they’re watching your every move, because they CAN’T…. They CAN’T even watch themselves and do the right thing, so it’s natural for them to make you scared and BELIEVE their LIES.
WAKE UP!!! DO WHAT REAL TROOPERS ARE DOING….. AND THAT IS INVITING THEM TO PROVE ALL THAT THEY CLAIM.
And lastly, you have to do what you can to protect your isp too. If you’re using tools as I and others are using, your isp have much to dispute about complaints, simply because they CAN’T even identify it actually came from their isp services.
Again,, none of this is 100% GUARANTEED, but doing something to protect yourself is much better than doing nothing at all and at the same time allowing others to put fear into your heart and mind.
Be for Alex Jones and for yourself and your family, and the rest will fall in place for you because you’re not in this all alone. I’m here in this too, and I plan on doing as I’ve been doing for years now, and that’s putting all the spying hype to the test. And so far, it’s all been just a scare-tactic, that I must admit, is working for them, simply because many people don’t know who to trust.
Trust your own instinct if you will. Although they are blocking sites and domains, they’re not ALWAYS in control. There are too many smart people out there that are former government employees, and in general, VERY SMART PEOPLE.
Here is your FREE legal way around all of that crap. And to give you all some good advice, when you’re visiting alternative news sites, you are being WARNED that these sites are monitored by those freedom haters.
Just do this.
1. Get Firefox browser at firefox com and STOP using Internet Explorer.
2. Goto torproject org and download the TOR package.
3. Goto phoenixlabs org and download PeerGuardian 2.
4. After installing Firefox and TOR, goto the Firefox website and get the addon called FoxyProxy and install it.
5. Afterwards, install the PeerGuardian 2. (Note…… after installing PeerGuardian 2, click the button to add LISTS. By default it will install just 6 lists, but it has a total of 20 lists. Within those 20 lists, you’ll have approximately 2 BILLION.. with a B, emails on your blocked list. That means for every ip address that’s on that list, they won’t be able to connect to your computer at all and they can’t track your ip address.
Now, when you are running PeerGuardian 2 AND TOR at the same time what you’ll be doing is surfing through the Internet through a series of different ip addresses from ALL over the world, which changes just about every link you go to, and at the same time PeerGuardian 2 is blocking any and ALL government and other sites from even tracking you.
The best thing about this setup is that once you’re connected to the Internet and you have these tool running (TOR especially), your ip provider can’t even track you. All they know is that you’re logged on. And the best part again is that since your connection is bouncing from random to random ip address, it’s untraceable, because TOR has been developed so that even the user of it doesn’t even know the real ip address of any computer that connects through you. READ the TOR web site info. It’ll explain it all as to what it does and how it works.
You can test your ip address by going to any ip checker site like:
cmyip com or
showmyip com
When you go to those sites, you’ll see that your ip address isn’t your ip address. It’s on a network that has thousands of networks connected to it. Your ip address will change often as you surf the net. Your ip address might show you’re from France, then testing your ip again, it might show you’re from Germany, India, China,, USA, etc… it constantly changes and it’s as safe as you’ll ever get when surfing online.
Again, read the info and put those FREE tools to work. Because if you are going to ANY alternative news web site(s) at all, your isp IS monitoring you. Believe that. And although nothing is 100% GUARANTEED, you can be assured that when people tell you that they can still monitor, you’re definitely giving (them) not only a run for the money, but a 1 in million chance of actually doing so. I’ve been doing this for YEARS now, and if they were all that powerful as people give them credit for, or so afraid of, I would have had my door kicked in 1 million times by now.
I’m not saying what they can’t do, but I’m saying they CANNOT monitor EVERYONE at the SAME time and then make a distinction of what is what. It would take them years to even track a normal surfer,,,, and especially when you use a computer that DOESN’T have any of your personal nor business information on it.
When you go to the TOR site, click on the PEOPLE link, and you’ll see all the people behind TOR.

ANYONE wanting to be stealth while online, even from your isp. ALL for FREE.
STOP using Internet Explorer.. it’s not safe at all to be using, and technically it shouldn’t be used by surfers, but only for webmasters and others that want to see how a site looks from one browser to another. IE WILL give you trojans, viruses and the other crap.
Anyone that tells you that you can’t really hide your identity online, just point them to the TOR web site… and most of all… DON’T be a victim of their deceit, because they are probably the ones that want you to stay vulnerable.
With all of the above, you can, and will bypass any website/ip address that blocks you from connecting to another web site… and that’s a FACT

Does anyone know where we can still get SAFE personal-care products??? i can’t figure out completely the truth behind sorbitol or other sugar-alternatives…but i choose not to trust them…

i had been listending to the infowars stream for a couple of days and yesterday my dsl (ATT) internet stopped working (never had any problems with it). I called ATT and they said it was an “unplanned outage”
After 8 hours, it began working again. I goto my linux command line and “wget” the stream file and find out they are throttling my connection to infowars to 1kbs!
Now I have to use Tor and Privoxy to get the stream.
Amazing. What is this world coming too?
