In April, a caller to the Alex Jones Show provided details on Department of Homeland Security drill in Seward, Alaska. Alex had received several emails from residents of Seward claiming the town would be locked down and a Homeland Security exercise conducted there.
Seward was not subjected to a DHS martial law exercise, but they did get new bridges that appear designed to lock down the city, as the video here demonstrates:

Sorry people… this bridge is just a double trussed bridge, whereas the asthecics were not a concern and it was much less expensive to make a bottom chord bearing bridge in that existing land situation. You are looking at mounting and or stabilization bolt holes at the end of the truss, that I guess could be used to make a barrier… but why not weld up a pipe swing arm instead?
There may be some crap going on with dhs drills in this town, but this bridge is not designed block people and vehicles, it is designed to hold heavy loads such as tractor trailers with no regard for appearance. A cheap and effective bridge.

Theres also a bridge somewhere else in Alaska where the State Gaurd has an M2 HMG guarding each end of the bridge and I am pretty sure there is more security than that but heck whatever.

Correct. I have seen this type of bridge design before, myself. My father was a civil engineer whose specialty was bridges and highways. I can tell you, from that exposure, plus my own in working with engineers for over thirty years, that there is nothing ominous about this bridge. Besides that, the makers of this video can’t even spell and don’t know the difference between “an” and “and.”

The video is just absurd. They use these exact, same prefabs all over the country when they need to put a span in fast on the cheap. Most often they’re used only as temporary structures to handle traffic while a more permanent overpass is built or repaired. The interlocks at the ends are so several of these units can be connected together, and the channel bars are there to complete a rigid box (they’re spaced evenly throughout the truss).
It’s like they discovered a flying saucer.

Actually it is a portable steel bridge. It is designed that way so it can be rolled from one side of the divide to the other, basically a one piece thing on rollers. First clue should have been the lack of any perpendicular connectors which would be required to shut down the roadway.

You are correct about the bridge, but I would like to add a few things. In Texas the highway department with DHS has completed what they call ” Traffic controll lines” these are a series of unbroken cables and steel beams that are set in concrete. This device stretches around every highway in the Dallas Fort worth area, this makes it impossible to turn around or cross over median. They came forward and said these were being installed to protect people from head on collisions, but if you look how it was installed you can see the obvious. First of all the heaviest of steel and cables are in areas where there is NO chance of head on collisions, but instead wide open areas of land and wooded areas. They have widened several pull over ares and have been designed to hold alot of vehicles or semi’s for inspection. The highway camera systems are set at every exit and entry to highways, but are hidden in bridges and overpasses (hard to see if your not looking) I wonder is other States have done this same thing, can anyone answer?

So be carefull what you hold to be true about our public school system. Fortunately I’ll be teaching Literature and will allow my students to pick from a list of current events to write on and all will be required to use this site as a reference spot on their papers. A solid fuel powered flying machine of sorts. Definetly not a commercial plane. But commercial planes definitely seem to have hit the twin towers. I don;t know how you can even argue that. There is no way they brought the towers down, and it is unlikely they were controlled by Afghani cave dwellers, but I think most folks (even on this site) would agree that commercial planes hit the twins. Not that I believe that stuff, but why do they still have to be alive? Hey Dave You might want to do some research in history to learn about how people in power work when they want something. There is a thing called “Acceptable loss or losses” that’s where those people that were on those planes fit in. Isn’t it possible that those loved ones you mentioned were taken to another facility by truck, bus, or a plane and taken to a very secure and or secret location to be delt with? There are lots of holes in the desert that will one day later tell a story but for now they keep silent. The word you are looking for is YES… it is POSSIBLE. A couple hundered people missing from a few planes is nothing to the people in power. It is and ACCEPTIBLE LOSS! Don’t believe anything anyone says here about it being just an UPGRADE.
The double trussed bridge is that way because it is going to be holding a heavy machine on top that glides back and forth on top of the bridge rail, over vehicles. This device will have a machine on it that once it glides over the top of a vehicle, it will be able to X-Ray vehicle with some sort of high tech computerized device. It will relay that scan to a near by station, like a trailer, for the soldier watching a monitor to make a judgement call. They may be looking for bombs, guns, occupants, etc.
The hole links sticking out of the ends of the I-Beams are going to be used for something like a gate that retracts or opens up and down. Seward, Alaska is going to be a hot spot for NWO activity. Why, I don’t know. But it will be one of the most guarded areas when things go down. I believe it will use as a hideaway for VIP’s when things with a deadly virus go down. It has a nice port, surrounded by mountains and has one train rail and one road with that bridge going in. A very nice little snuggy safe haven.

Keep in mind that home movies, witnesses, the “feelings and emotions of family members”, and photos have never in the history of aviation verfied a plane or plane crash. Only wreckage does. You are not reading what he said. He did not say there were NO planes, he said there were no COMERCIAL planes that crashed on 9/11. He is implying that the planes that crashed were military, or were empty and contained no passengers. Yes, planes struck WTC 1 and 2. What hit the pentigon? I have not a clue, but I have doubts it was a plane. Hole is too small and engines would have survived. Shanksville? No clue there either. It was just a smoking hole, and I have never seen an airliner crash that did not leave some kind of wreckage scattered about. Who the &%*^ cares if they were commercial planes or not? Someone flew planes into the towers and then blew them up. Why is everyone wasting time on this? The reason it is important to maintain the lies of planes on NYC is because it would expose the military corporation owned US media to charges of conspiracy to commit mass murder. Remember that on the morning of 9/11 the only people interviewed that saw “planes” were media personnel and executives. Without the US media’s help in promoting the Deception Execution Cycle of “planes” on 9/11….the military and government would never have gotten away with anything. At the Pentagon “plane” witnesses were also media executives.
Readers of this forum…..never forget that the US military spends $5 billion dollars a year hiring 1000’s of people to promote the “Lies of 9/11″. What? are there 20 foot tall trucks? That design is not meant to stop a truck from going over, (I know semi trailers are tall, but that design is not for that purpose, stopping the mass of 80,000 pounds would require more lateral reinforcement, rather than vertical reinforcement.

Actually it is a portable steel bridge. It is designed that way so it can be rolled from one side of the divide to the other, basically a one piece thing on rollers. First clue should have been the lack of any perpendicular connectors which would be required to shut down the roadway.
C’mon folks. Its the same as people that film RR cattle cars that haven’t moved for three weeks and think we are heading to FEMAland in them tomorrow based on the fact that they are parked there. Sometimes they are actually used for cattle. Sometimes railroad cars don’t move for many, many months.

call me crazy, but I dont see the point of this one. the bolt holes they were showing were obviously used in securing each piece to the next, rather than putting a gate up. I could see how they could potentially use the bridge structures to lock it down, but would they not just put up barriers and a checkpoint. to me this just looks like over funded guard rails for suck-ass palin’s state. this does not surprise me, as we all know billions are wasted every year on bullshit road projects. how about that bridge to nowhere.

It’s not so much about the spelling as it is the general lack of intelligence, and of jumping to conclusions on the part of the video’s intrepid NWO Vampire Killers. Do you recall Alex Jones’ highlighting of a case in which a citizen was harassed by police for having in his or her (I forget which) possession a pocket Constitution? The police then debated among themselves whether the possession of such a document was illegal, thereby proving to one and all their ignorance and stupidity. How is this any different? The narrator states that the purpose of the “huge bars” is to “lock out anyone that’s trying to leave the town”. He simply states it as a matter of fact, and offers nothing to support his statement. Just like the police’s initial assumption of the illegality of the pocket Constitution, the narrator assumes the purpose for which the structure was added to the bridge.
Is the government corrupt, unjust, and in desperate need of reform? Yes. How can we ever hope to accomplish such a task, when this is what passes for critical thought?

It does look like each section of the bridge is indeed bolted to the next section using the very holes which are the focus of the video. However, it also looks like those holes would house a pretty sizeable steel pipe or two – or three – that would make an effective blockade. One or two cops could hit three or four such bridges quickly and shut down, at least temporarily, entrance to or exit from a small community. Considering the ramping up of the use of the military in places we expect – and want! – to see police or National Guard instead, there is every reason to be alert for anything that will enable martial law. These two guys are walking the fine line between paranoia and caution.

They are designed to be interlocking so if one section is compromised then all you have to quickly do is exchange it for another that is right there on hand. So if one is harmed by something they have backup immediately on hand. Thinkof it a universatility. Dang these guys think like me. This is not boding well. This can lock off a town in a few seconds. I agree. They don’t need pre-fabricated bridge mechanisms. When I was in Iraq, We moved in, surrounded, and completely shut down a town in less than six hours. When they get ready to set uo roadblocks, they can do it quickly and efficiently. All you need are jersy barriers, razor wire and a few guys with guns. After that gets established, then come the fancy machine gates and guard towers.
You guys are missing the point here. The military does not telegraph it’s moves. You will not know about the martial law checkpoints until one suddenly appears in front of you. They hold the tactical advantage.

This is simply just an erector set assembly for vertical reinforcement of this bridge. There are hundreds more interlocks you can easily see every 10 or so feet in this video. It’s simply modular, like Lego’s, conforming to any length bridge for the application of reinforcement of the integrity of the bridges. If they want to quarantine the town, they just simply have to place a big truck in the middle of the road and 2 armed military personnel. This of which, I will not debate on this possibility. Martial law is possible anywhere and any time. Pull this article.

This is bull,this is known as a “cantilever” design which adds considerable strength to the bridge.
If you research the old bridge design,you’ll fine that this new one is much stronger.
It doesn’t take much for troops to “block a bridge” from ingress and egress at all.
All that they have to do is park a tank or place some boulders in the way.
I don’t doubt that the feds design some population controls into their newer works though,I live down in so FL and almost all of the highways now have a form of metal barriers which can be used to control massive movements of vehicles without the ability for them to turn around thru the grass medians.
This would keep the flow in one direction only-wherever they want it to go.

I’ve worked on several types of large mechanical bridges for a career, doing on-site machining, and worked directly with the manufacturers of bridges (like PDM, for instance).
I do not see any mechanism in this picture/video that shows how these trusses can close the bridge and stop traffic. We will have to have more evidence if we’re going to conclude that martial law is coming to Seward.
If we are trying to further the causes of the Infowar by directing intelligent people to this site, then I would hate for them to trip upn this poor “news article”.

The holes that they showed at the beginning of the video are just holes that receive bolts to extend the bridge longer. The sections a modular, They can be bilt of any size. If you look at the construction of the bridge, at the beginging or the end however you want to call it, there is a bolt connecting each section together. If you do not have other section to recieve the bolt you are left with a hole such as you see in the video. I don’t see anything suspicious about that like extra tall sections with a hindge in the middle with a locking pin that when activated could swing down a make a super strong road block. I think the video should be taken off. It makes this site look stupid.

Give me a break guys. This bridge was given stress/load retro-fit, nothing more, nothing less. Can you not “SEE” that it does not even take on the appearance of a security gate, that the freaking trusses are the entire length of the bridge span? You are wearing me out. It is obvious that these structures are just reinforcements for the bridge. If they were trying to make the bridge accept gates at the ends, why not just build a small structure at each end rather than one that runs the full length of the bridge? One response stated that thick pipes or bars could be placed through the holes to block off the bridge. Bars, cables, a gate, etc could pretty easily be used to block off any bridge as long as it has some sort of structure on the sides. It would not need to even have special holes; a bridge could be blocked off just by sticking an I-beam through the trusses, clamping some cables over the road, or dumping a pile of rocks anywhere on it. This “article” makes the website look overly paranoid and silly and it should be taken down.

I think what the video is implying, is that the town can be used as a quarantine facility or large scale prison. The terrain is so rough that you can’t escape via walking out, and need minimal guards the bridge is there to ship in supplies to the city prison and to transport human cargo and prisoners to the camp.

Looking at this I can’t say for certain what I think about it- whether its to shore up old decrepit bridges or what. I drove over that bridge not to long ago, but I have to be honest I was thinking more about fishing than about the bridge. That said, I wouldn’t be the least bit suprised to find out that the bridge has been refitted to control access to Seward. Being that its the farthest north, year round ice free deep water port, it does have considerable importance. That being said too- having seen the folks in Seward, I have every confidence they would be able to get out of there if they needed to, and no brain-dead, brain washed idiot AK State Trooper in their right mind would try and stop them, at least not alone anyway. Still I am keeping an open mind, but an exceptionally watchful eye on this one.

RETARDED, SERIOUSLY PARANOID! It’s an extra safe, cheap but well designed MODULAR bridge. Those holes are where the next section would be bolted on to make a larger structure. All bridges, no matter what design can be turned into a checkpoint (that you can’t drive around) in a day if needed, the bolt holes are irrelevant. I live in Seward, AK… The bridge in the video is a modular bridge, and there are 2 others very similar to it. What they didn’t show you is the construction going on to the left of this bridge where they are in the works of building a permanent one.
I’m not worried about the bridges, but as of late we have had TONS of Homeland Security Drills, with ALL the bells and whistles too…. I’ve lived here for the past year, and only within the last month have they begun. Not sure what the deal is, but there is for sure something up…

I believe in the conspiracy of 911 and one world order stuff. HOWEVER, please take a look at the bolt patterns. At 2:14 in the video you can see the bolt holes so you can add sections to the bridge. When you come to the end it’s going to be empty because you are not adding any more sections. Use your head and eyes. There’s enough REAL conspiracy out there without making stuff up. This hurts the movement.

Wouldn’t it be much easier and mush less obvious if martial law was implemented to just place some traffic concrete barriers across the bridge? The “bolt holes” are most likely there for crane placement. I think half of what Alex has to say and show is legit, but the other half just makes him look crazy. “They” won’t have to declare martial law people. They will just tax us to death and mess with our food supply. All these ideas of martial law are old and unecessary with the technology at the governments fingers. Think outside the box. Doesn’t matter if we have guns. If they take our vote most of these people are 100’s to 1000’s of miles away. Like the dude on the Death Star said, we will maintain control with the bureaucracy. One man with a vote and a gun can never defeat such a beast. The only chance we have is our state governments and governors and we see what happens when they stand up to the feds.

Didn’t convince me. Looked like modular structural reinforcement for the bridge. The bolt-holes wouldn’t be convenient or practical for barricading the highway.
