Martial Law Lockdown Exercise in Seward, Alaska?

A caller into the Alex Jones Show today provided details about a possible Department of Homeland Security drill at the end of this month in Seward, Alaska, the seventh most lucrative fisheries port in the United States.

The caller, identifying herself as “Barbara,” said she had an encounter with a man from the Transportation Security Administration, an agency within the Department of Homeland Security. The man had black and white photographs of buildings in Seward and made unusual comments about terrorism. He also seemed confident he would see Barbara again.
Alex has received several emails from residents of Seward recently claiming the town will be locked down and a Homeland Security exercise conducted there.
Barbara and other residents of Seward believe the Department of Homeland Security is preparing a drill or exercise of some sort, based on the following events:
1) In November of 2008, parents of students at the Seward High School were informed of an “Every 15 Minutes” event to be held at the school on April 27 and 28. The Every 15 Minutes Program is billed as “emotionally charged” event “designed to dramatically instill teenagers with the potentially dangerous consequences of drinking alcohol,” according to the program’s website. The “Grim Reaper” event held on school grounds is quite macabre, as literature on the site reveals:
One student is removed from class every 15 minutes. A police officer will immediately enter the classroom to read an obituary which has been written by the “dead” student’s parent(s) — explaining the circumstances of their classmate’s demise and the contributions the student has made to the school and the community. A few minutes later, the student will return to class as the “living dead,” complete with white face make-up, a coroner’s tag, and a black Every 15 Minutes T-shirt.

This “death education” event includes a simulated auto accident, a mock funeral service, and “an actual trip to the morgue, the hospital emergency room, and to the police department jail for the purpose of being booked for ‘drunk driving,’” according to the website. (For more on this ghoulish event, see the “Every 15 Minutes” manual.)
Barbara indicated the high school will be “locked down” during the event, although this is not stated in the document sent to parents (it does state that students participating in a “retreat” associated with the event will have meals provided and be “chaperoned by law enforcement personnel and responsible members of the community”).
2) Access in and out of Seward will be blocked the weekend of the 25th. “Road traffic between Anchorage and Seward will be blocked all weekend while the state installs temporary replacements for two older bridges on the Seward Highway,” the Anchorage Daily News reports. “The Alaska Department of Transportation said that recent inspections showed the Falls Creek and nearby Ptarmigan Creek bridges need to be replaced.”

Barbara told Alex Jones the road in question is the only one in and out of Seward.
3) In May, 2007, the final leg of Alaska Shield/Northern Edge 07 culminated in Seward. Northern Edge 2007 was a Joint Chiefs of Staff directed, Northern Command sponsored homeland defense and Defense Support of Civil Authorities exercise, according to GlobalSecurity.
“Hundreds of first responders, with uniforms ranging from the reflective jackets of local firefighters to military biohazard suits, were on hand at the Alaska Railroad dock to practice an integrated response to a simulated terrorist threat on a marine vessel,” Capt. Amy Hansen of the Joint Task Force-Alaska Public Affairs office wrote at the time.
The Seward Police Department, the FBI, and Coast Guard participated in this “massive interagency effort” in response to “suspicious people” boarding a marine vessel docked at Seward’s port.
As Infowars reported earlier this week, the Northern Command, the Department of Homeland Security and FEMA have graduated from exercises focused on “incident response and recovery” to events concentrated “exclusively on terrorism prevention and protection.”

Because Seward, Alaska, is located on Resurrection Bay with access to the Pacific Ocean, it would serve as an ideal candidate for Homeland Security “exercise play” concentrating on “preventing subsequent efforts by … terrorists to enter the United States and carry out … attacks.” It is also an ideal candidate for such an operation because there is but one highway leading in and out of the town.
As we noted earlier this week, the threat of al-Qaeda or Muslim terrorism in the United States is a remote possibility at best. In recent weeks, the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI have raised the specter of domestic terrorism carried out by “rightwing extremists” and this effort to stigmatize and demonize the patriot movement has been vociferously criticized and has led to a lawsuit against DHS secretary Janet Napolitano and her agency.
The presence of an employee of Homeland Security, apparently engaged in less than covert surveillance of Seward, adds credence to the assertion made by Barbara and other residents in contact with Alex Jones that a DHS exercise may indeed be in store for the port town.

FEMA has a camp in Alaska that will hold 2 million people!
They crashed a BC Ferries ship “Queen of the North” into Gill Island in 2006 – sunk it and made a new replacement ship in Germany – when it went out for its first sea-trials it had a NAZI swastika painted on it.
This FEMA camp could hold all the population of greater Vancouver.
It is believed they will stage a terrorist attack during the 2010 Winter Olympics in BC. They’re doing all their drills this year 2009.

Having been stationed in Germany in the 1990s and visited Dachau a couple of times, I can tell you that whether or not the camps hold 500K or 4 times that amount, it is just a “mass flow” problem (sorry, I’m an engineer) in that it just takes a little more time to eliminate 2M than it does 500K. If they have incinerators, as Dachau and the other German camps did, they will run around the clock and (try to) keep up with numbers of dead. They will “take care” of all the people, it may just take them a little longer.

The “Every 15 minutes” thing isn’t new. My high school did it one day during senior year 2008. Its just some corny thing to convince students not to drink and drive. I don’t see how this has to do anything with brainwashing the young people.

What they want is to for you all to join into identifiable clusters that can then be targeted for “neutralization.” In other words “taking care of many birds with one stone”. There are 50 to 100 million of the population that are armed. There are about 1 million of those that would be “Enforcers of the Globalist agendas”.
Each one of those “enforcers” has made the personal decision to carry out their dastardly orders and deeds, rather than resigning their position and side with righteousness, morality, and the Constitutional mandates that WE THE PEOPLE are to be the ultimate “defenders” of our own freedoms.
So with those odds of 50 to 100 “defenders” to every one of the “Globalism Enforcers”, it is simply a matter of numbers. As long as each “defender” can “incapacitate” one or more “Globalist Enforcers” before the “defender” her or himself is incapacitated.
So victory is assured as long as the defenders have enough balls to make the “necessary restoration” to a state of Constitutionality. Whether that “necessary restoration” sacrifice be made in one’s own home doorway, at some sort of “checkpoint”, or elsewhere. The numbers still favor the defenders BUT ONLY IF THE DEFENDERS WILL DEFEND!
Once a return to Constitutionality is achieved, and the “turncoats” against the Constitution have been removed from their positions in the military, etc., then we can actually reclaim our soverignty and rebuild our infrastructures, eject all of those with “Globalist allegiance, and then hunt down those remaining Elitists that have cleverly perpetrated the desired destruction of our great nation and bring them to justice.
The Department of Treasury then issues a new currency, The “American Eagle” (replacing the dollar), with the Federal Reserve Board now ejected, and all those trillions of dollars that have been hoarded to the Elitists and the confederate bankers being absolutely worthless.
BUT for this to be possible requires that “patriotic defenders of the Constitution” steel themselves to “do what they need to do”, even at the ultimate personal cost. If they do not, then sadly defeat is assured.

For any of you that are on the run or have criminal warrants out for you, you are probably targeted for termination already. And it is now being reported that State Police are merging with Federal Marshals to track you down no matter where you are in the US or it’s territorries. So sad to say you are likely already a “dead man walking” so to speak. While it might be too late to change that in this new “storm trooper” paradigm, it’s not too late for you to “make a difference” in the war against tyranny. . . . . .
By the way, a “heads up”. I heard from a relative in Colorado who lives in a mountain valley with only one way in and one way out that suddenly for the last two weeks starting immediately after the local ski area closed it’s season, that Blackhawk helicopters flying in pairs and the big twin rotor Chinook helicopters (all painted black without military markings) have been racing back and forth at only about 1500 feet above the ground to a another hidden location somewhere around the Continental Divide.
Her speculation is that since the Chinooks are able to bring in artillery as well as full platoons of troops that there might be some sort of operation being set up with artillery placed in high locations for added range. She has just evacuated herself and kids from the valley and “headed south”, because she thinks what might be up is that “they” could sweep down and clear out the 1000 or so people in the valley and then control it’s access, and then work outwards from there.
We need to hear from you people in Alaska after this weekend to hear that a similar sort of thing has not happened to you also . . . . . .

People BEST pay attention to everything going on in there towns, city’s or schools. We all have to take Heed and be watchdogs whats going on around us. We do have a say, IF we all band together and educate Each Other what is going on. Take the time to sit down with your friends and see what you’d do in a case of martial law take-overs. Since THEY seem to be organizing, we too, Must organize and mainly, understand and educate others so there not in the dark on what could happen on down the line. If we all have a plan, then it doesn’t have to be total Chaos. What if your locked down to your home, and you are in need of food and other necessities? Those are so-very Important issues for us all to take heed about. IF were ready, we have a way to take time to sit back and also, have means to fight back with questions and how to deal IF we surprisingly woke up and had Martial Law in your own town. What would you do, and are you prepared to not leave your home for a few days. Keep plenty Food in your Pantry’s. If there’s a chance this could happen, It Probably will. Just prepare yourselves alittle more each and every day or every Pay Period. Buy those few extras now and don’t wait till the roads are shut down and your unable to make it to the local grocery stores. Nothing wrong to being prepared JUST IN CASE!

Lets talk about the meaning of fear:

Trusting God is a refusal to give into fear. It is a turning to God even in the darkest times and trusting in Him to make things right. This trust comes from knowing God and knowing that He is a good God who only wants to give His children good things. It is as Job said when he was experiencing some of the most difficult trials recorded in the Bible, “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him (Job 13:15 NKJV).”
Once we have learned to put our trust in God, we will no longer be afraid of the things that come against us. We will be like the psalmist and, “…let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You” (Psalm 5:11).

Crap, me and my wife have plane tickets to Seward leaving May 1st. We are staying for a month with some friends. I was thinking Seward AK would be a great place to hide out from the NWO people. Being as how it’s located in such a remote place and tucked in the mountains and all. OK, let’s review. This town in Alaska is on an island with only two bridges connecting it to the mainland. And both bridges are going to be replaced over a weekend in late April. On the same weekend a high school in the town is going to teach its students about the dangers of drunk driving by visually showing them what death looks like and the impact losing a child has on parents and family. Finally, Fema is going to hold some kind of drill in July, which is not in April, and which has nothing to do with this town in Alaska.
And from this, Kurt Nimmo says that the town is going to be…. What? Turned into some kind of prison camp for the weekend? “Locked down”? Is the Department of Homeland Security going to declare martial law and set up curfews and checkpoints? What? He does not say.
All this loon does say is that three unrelated events are going to happen and imply that maybe the DHS is going to possibly hold some kind of drill there, and somehow that’s it’s going to be bad.

As a civil engineer who has worked on several on-system and off-system bridge projects, I have NEVER seen the Traffic Control Plan/MOT shut down the traffic BOTH ways for more than a few hours, much less for three days. Especially when this is the ONLY route into or out of a city. This is very unusual, and sounds very suspicious. Even when I’ve worked on a project where they need to take out the only crossing, we have had to provide a temporary crossing (bridge) for traffic to be able to cross. So, it sounds pretty fishy and while it may be coincidental, the timing with the Every 15 Minutes program and the Alaska Shield exercise coming up puts me on guard. But it is important to be able to support everything we bring up with facts.

Here they say that on one bridge they will be installing a temporary span parallel to the existing span in one case, and in two other cases they will be installing a bailey bridge span over top of the existing span. Seems these a federally funded projects. Funded by the federal money under something called STIP (Statewide Transportation Improvement Plan) that seems to be popping up all over the place.
Anybody have anything else resembling facts on this? Anybody have more insight into STIP, FSTIP, and friends? Seems to be an AWFUL lot of that going on for a country that’s virtually broke.

You’ll notice that most of the other projects, including at least one other bridge project I looked at has just a one page blurb with a single small photo. The seward project has all sort of super huge blow ups of little cracks in the timbers and things that appear pretty normal for an old bridge (I’m no expert). Just seems a little out of place comparing to the other project pages.
Don’t mean to seem paranoid, but these days we really need to keep a close eye on what the feds are up to.

If Seward, Alaska is one of the first towns to be terrorized by the osama (I mean obama) administration and FEMA……..it shows me that Sarah Palin is bought and paid for just like the rest of them.
If she were really who she claims to be: (a conservative born again believer in Jesus Christ) she’d be fighting this tooth and nail. Not to have your children for THREE days is terrifying!!!!!!!!! Who knows what they will do to them. Will they force them to be immunized against their will??????? As for the “death drills” in the school……IT IS NOT OK!!! They are simply, obviously desensitizing the students to TERROR!!!

so…why do people insist on arguing through comments? why are there so many varieties of truthers? you got the freaked out ones who type in all capitals and tell you “that day” is coming soon. the ones who need hard evidence before they’ll believe anything. there’s the ones that somehow incorperate bible stuff into this. everyone has a different “truth”. why can’t all of us be able to discern truth from made up bulls---? Barbra, you should go around door to door and get everyone to leave town for that weekend, go hiking, camping, visit relatives, or fishing or something! That would be great!

That “every 15 minutes” thing is happening right now at my high school!!! I have seen “the living dead” all over and they can’t talk or anything they just have to continue through their day without talking to anyone. My high school did that drunk driving excersise/simulation yesturday!!!

I live up north of their, and have been trying to find out from all the people I know around here and I’m getting mixed info. Either way, I can see why Seward and Anchorage would be prime targets- like most cities up here, there is only one way in and one way out- with Anchorage you have the Glenn Hwy going out toward the Matanuska-Susitna Borough and the Seward going down to Girdwood and Indian et. al. If those two roads get blocked down, then the residents of those places are screwed.

I’m a Seward resident, and a long-time Alex Jones follower.
We are NOT on an island, we are on the mainland, on the western side of the Kenai Peninsula. There is only one highway out of Seward, with 3 bridges that have to be replaced. These bridges were first slated for replacement in 1995, but never funded. This winter, they became critical, as they are the original bridges from sometime in the 1950s. Residents of Seward are not happy about the closure, but it has been a long-time coming. The bridges are closing from Friday evening to 8 a.m. Monday morning. We have a small-craft airport in Seward, and the railway, so we are not completely isolated, even with the road closure.
The “every 15 minutes” program is not until Monday, and begins at 10:30 am (I believe, that may be wrong, it may be 10:00). Seward, like much of Alaska, has a terrible problem with drinking and driving. The winters are really long and dark, depression is common, and addiction is rampant here. This is an attempt to address these issues.
The other thing listed in the article isn’t until summer. To connect these 3 events seems to be reaching, in my opinion.

On any type of takeover of territory, rather than hitting large locales and scattering all the lemmings into the woods and remote territorries, just the opposite is the choice tactic. To sweep out the outlying inhabitants first toward the cities. That way the “swept clean” areas easily controlled with just a few patrols, while the masses are then further swept into and concentrated into “kill zones”. . . . . . . . Wake up kiddees!!!

Ok, this is utter crap. Psychological experiments are done ALL the time. Drills are a necessary part of life. Yes, there may be a terrorist drill going on, but there is nothing to fret over, it’s not a big deal. I really don’t understand why there is a huge commotion going on about this. I live in Seward, Alaska, and my family has been there for many generations. The Seward port is known for it’s over zealous security detail, yes. But, we are only taking security procedures to prevent something big from actually happening. Either way, Seward is not an island at all actually. Its located on the Kenai Peninsula. If we really wanted to get out of dodge, it would not be hard at all. Also, Seward and most places in Alaska, let me rephrase that, America, has a major drinking/drug problem with teens. What would you rather see? Your child dead? Or 3 days away from home learning that drugs and drinking isn’t so cool. Even still, three days straight? THAT is a fabrication. If you want to point fingers, then point fingers at Barbara for being over excited and paranoid of an issue that will not happen. Just because they are shutting the road down for the weekend does not mean Seward is being tested on. What are the road workers going to do? Magically float cars over the river when the bridge is being replaced? Now, that would be something to see. So, stop getting worked up about something that won’t happen, and worry about something important. Have you done your dishes? Fed the Dog? Finished your laundry? How about kept up on your homework? Called back that pretty girl from the bar? Your life is such a definitively small blip in time. Make the best use of it you can. And, in the end, it doesn’t matter what people think of you, what matters is how you feel about yourself. So stop being so god damned nosy and worry about your own s---.

Well, I have a retort to what you say…
First off, I understand that the media pulls stuff out of their ass over 90% if the time. For this, I do not watch the news, and I usually do not pay much attention to TV in general. Also, before you start slapping me across the face for anything about main stream media, know this. Infowars.com is just as much main stream media as FOX, or CNN, or BBC, or any other large media network. Does not mean that Alex Jones should be accused of skewing the truth… Absolutely not, just be sure you are speculative about your entire environment. After all, the worst things can come in the most innocent packages.
Propaganda? No, live in Seward my friend and you will understand my viewpoint. I find it interesting that you seem to know more about this stuff than someone who actually lives there.
Lastly, I am not a passive person. I am aggressively active in my community, and local government. I have many strong ties to local and regional officials in the area, and they all take the same stance on this subject matter.
Oh, and one more thing… Sheep? No, I’m a very independent person with distinctive views upon society and it’s workings. I have my own beliefs and ideals, does that mean I agree with everything everyone else does? No, not at all. So, do not accuse someone of being a sheep when they are thinking outside the crowd. Especially speaking that you are one of many many many people commenting on this topic, and you have the same opinion as most of the others do. So, doesn’t that make YOU the sheep?

Maybe you all should actually go visit Seward, AK? It is a very small town…there is a lot of people on this website that are EXTREMELY hyped and it really isnt warranted. Alot of military activity is typical in Alaska because it is off the continental USA. This “mock death” etc., has been going on for over 30 years… Colorado Springs, CO 1986 at Coronado High School. “Shocking” kids into thinking works. Any people here go through sex education class where they actually showed photos of genitalia that had herpes and other disgusting growths??? Bet ya that definitely made you all think more than just twice before having sex… Being honest with our kids and telling them the truth about what is happening is way better than keeping them in the dark and handing them a condom.
