Maryland Protest Groups Spied On by State Police and Added to Federal List of Terrorist Suspects

Undercover Maryland state troopers infiltrated three groups advocating peace and protesting the death penalty — attending meetings and sending reports on their activities to U.S. intelligence and military agencies, according to documents released Thursday.
The documents show the activities occurred from at least March 2005 to May 2006 and that officers used false names, which the documents referred to as “covert identities” – to open e-mail accounts to receive messages from the groups.
Also included in the 46 pages of documents, obtained by the Maryland chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, is an account of an activist’s name being entered into a federally funded database designed to share information among state, local and federal law-enforcement agencies on terrorist and drug trafficking suspects.

I’m tired of the police I really don’t care what they do or say or whatever or how they oppress me. This world sucks and that is what I am aware of and I really don’t expect to be treated right. I want to live in a world where I can at least defend myself and not have to worry about getting seriously harmed. You guys wont believe what I saw today. I was out playing frisbee golf at the local park in my town and when I get over to hole 6 my dad notices theres a police officer standing behind some trees just observing people playing frisbee golf but trying to be hidden. He was hard to notice but I saw him as well after I looked over in the direction where he was at. My dad (who is 58 years old and doesn’t look any bit dangerous) kindly says hi to the officer who looks over at him and doesnt respond at all, just stands there staring at us. After my dad and I threw our frisbees I walk over about 30 feet away from the police officer and kindly say “hey how’s it going”. The officer doesn’t respond at all. He just stands turns and continues to watch us. I myself am wearing a nice polo shirt and khaki shorts. Just to let you know so that you dont think its anything racial I and my dad are both white and the officer is a white guy too. Neither me nor my dad look any bit suspicious and werent committing any crimes. Just playing frisbee golf at the local park. I believe he was out to catch other people that may be drinking or smoking weed but still he is a representative of the city/government and to act like that puts out a very bad image.

In the town where I live it wasnt always like this but the past few months its been getting more and more crazy the way that the police are doing crackdowns on people. It’s like they arent even out for protecting the public but they are out to get you. I myself got a $95 dollar ticket the other day for riding my bicycle with headphones on listening to music. No warning or anything, I didnt know it was a law and when i told other people about it neither did they. You don’t take a test to ride a bicycle you just try to abide by what you believe are the laws. I wasn’t even out driving dangerously or anything. Ive got a really bad feeling that police are out getting other people just like they did me. Also on a side note I live in a town where there is massive cuts around the board for government spending but a few weeks ago I saw a training operation near that same frisbee golf park where the police had an entire mobile operations center consisting of multiple r.v. campers fully equipped with portable antennas and satellite equipment and several squad vehicles. My town is struggling with budgets but has a state of the art emergency deployable intelligence center for law enforcement. Its completely ludicrous.

iz…..got a better one for you. I received a letter from my bank that my account was overdrawn. I had become a victim of identity theft just a few weeks earlier and had closed that current account but for some reason they were still honoring charges. Made absolutely ZERO sense. They said I owed over $2000 and needed to make a payment by a certain date and time. I showed up with $2000 and was arrested for tresspassing. The State Attorney refused to drop the charges even though they had video evidence of absolutely NOTHING having gone on, had a letter that I gave them from the bank stating that I needed to be there legally, and eyewitness reports that I had done nothing wrong and was NEVER asked to leave at any time. If this sounds almost too unbelievable to be true…..if I had not experienced this nightmare myself I would NEVER believe it could have happened to someone. It sounds so far fetched as if I am leaving something out or not giving a piece of the puzzle. You would be wrong.
Advice: If anyone gets a letter stating to be somewhere, claim you a crippled or severally injured and must do everything by mail or phone. If it smells like a trap it is.

I truely believe it takes a certain type of personality to be a cop, FBI, CIA, etc….a personality that is insecure and can only survive on pure unadulterated power, like bill collecters. These types of personalities thrive on do as I say, not as I do. These jobs are for psychologicly sick people and we have given them respect and honor so long that they took advantage of it and went crazy. We were raised to not question authority figures because they know best and they are the professionals. Now people dont have that much faith in them any more and they are freaking out at their power loss and trying to make up for it by oppressing you in any way they can, because by damn your not going to take their power away or question them. They think in their heads “you question me, I’ll put you on a list, throw you in jail, tazz you, that will show you who’s boss.

If your out drinking alcohol, or smoking weed in a nonviolent fashion and have no intentions of being or getting violent it doesn’t matter you will be jailed. But if you kill innocent people because your commander tells you to in the name of corporate profit then your right as rain. It seem that if your an official you can lie, cheat, be corrupt, morally bankrupt, steal, be greedy, abuse your power, snoop on others, present false documentation or spread false rumors, allowed to accept corporate money to make laws which benefit corporations, take away liberties, threaten, harrass, sexually harass, have sex with others while in office or a position of power, hold secret meetings to make deals and pass acts against the american peoples interests, but if you drink a beer or smoke a joint in pubilc you are a bad person and must be dealt with because you my friend are a threat to national security and bring down american moral standards. All I can say is that this is horrible that this can say, but it is not a surprise. That is why I do not participate in protests because 1: I do not want to be arrested, even if it is a peaceful protests, and 2: I donot want to be put on the terrorist list.

I watched an excellent video by David Icke the other day called The Big Picture and in it he stated how the police are doing this to everyone–trying to find anything to write a ticket for. It is part of the shock and awe treatment. If they shock you enough, you will finally just become passive (they think) because they shocked little mice in mazes and finally the mice wouldn’t try to do anything because it was sure it would just receive a shock. They have taken these psychological studies to heart. But we are not mice–we are humans. Fight the ticket. Ask for a jury. You can plead your own case if you have to. You can go to city hall and ask for a copy of their municipal ordinances, and remember the state usually gives the city its right to exist, double check state law–it usually overrides city ordinances–remove or appeal the case to a state court. Read everything about the law violation they charged you with and see if they met all the criteria as given in the code. These little back room smoke filled court rooms can be beaten. It is as hard as hell to find a decent lawyer with the cajones to take on these bozos who will not charge you an arm and a leg–most of them charge an arm and a leg and then are too spineless to fight for you–I’ve watched them go in and grovel before a dipsh*t prosecutor when they should have been ripping him a new one. I’ve seen them sell out their clients in a “plea bargain” which was nothing but a miscarriage of justice. I say it again–serve on juries any chance you get.
A jury is still our last line of defense. People, sit on juries any time you can–you, as a juror, have the right to override an illegal law or an abusive law or any law you see fit. Turn your fellow citizen loose. If you would not want to be written such a ticket, null and void it.
