Mass Mind Control Through Network Television: Are Your Thoughts Your Own?

Why do countless American people go along with the War on Iraq? Why do so many people call for a police state control grid? A major component to a full understanding of why this kind of governmental and corporate corruption is to discover the modern science of mind control and social engineering. It’s baffling to merely glance at the stacks of documentation that this world government isn’t being constructed for the greater good of humanity. Although there are a growing number of people waking up the reality of our growing transparent soft cage, there seems to be just enough citizens who are choosing to remain asleep. Worse yet, there are even those who were at least partially awake at one time but found it necessary to return to the slumber of dreamland.
This is no accident; this is a carefully crafted design. The drive to dumb down the populations of planet earth is a classic art that existed before the United States did. One component to understanding and deciphering the systems of control is to become a student of the magicians of influence and propaganda. In order to defeat our enemies (or dictators), its imperative that we understand how they think and what they believe in.
When people think about mind control, they usually think in terms of the classic “conspiracy theory” that refers to Project MkUltra. This program is a proven example of ‘overt mind control.’ The project had grown out of an earlier secret program, known as Bluebird that was officially formed to counter Soviet advances in brainwashing. In reality the CIA had other objectives. An earlier aim was to study methods ‘through which control of an individual may be attained’. The emphasis of experimentation was ‘narco-hypnosis’, the blending of mind altering drugs with carefully hypnotic programming.
A crack CIA team was formed that could travel, at a moments notice, to anywhere in the world. Their task was to test the new interrogation techniques, and ensure that victims would not remember being interrogated and programmed. All manner of narcotics, from marijuana to LSD, heroin and sodium pentathol (the so called ‘truth drug’) were regularly used.
Despite poor initial results, CIA-sponsored mind control program flourished. On 13 April 1953, the super-secret project MK-ULTRA was born. Its scope was broader than ever before, and only those in the top echelon of the CIA were privy to it. Official CIA documents describe MK-ULTRA as an ‘umbrella project’ with 149 ’sub-projects’. Many of these sub-projects dealt with testing illegal drugs for potential field use. Others dealt with electronics. One explored the possibility of activating ‘the human organism by remote control’. Throughout, it remained a major goal to brainwash individuals to become couriers and spies without their knowledge.
When it was formed in 1947, the CIA was forbidden to have any domestic police or internal security powers. In short, it was authorized only to operate ‘overseas’. From the very start MK-ULTRA staff broke this Congressional stipulation and began testing on unwitting American citizens.
Precisely how extensive illegal testing became will never be known. Richard Helms, CIA Director and chief architect of the program, ordered the destruction of all MK-ULTRA records shortly before leaving office in 1973. Despite these precautions some documents were misfiled and came to light in the late 1970’s. They laid bare the spy agency’s cynicism. Despite the widespread knowledge of MK Ultra and the civil lawsuits that followed, this form of behavior modification is not the most expansive. The real dangers are the types of thought control that are ‘covert’ and not the subject of several dozen Hollywood movies like “Clockwork Orange” and Mel Gibson’s “Conspiracy Theory.”
Our founding fathers faced enormous challenges in the formation of this country and its bill of rights. One challenge was laying down the groundwork or a free society without knowing what kind of technological advances would be made. Who would have guessed in those times that we needed an article in the bill of rights that specifically prohibits the government and it’s associates from engaged in mind control or thought control. The closest item that promises our protection from the government is the 4th Article in The Bill of Rights which states, “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.” Like many are now beginning to note, the US Constitution and its Bill of Rights are merely given lip service by our supposedly elected officials.
One of the most common examples of mind control in our so-called free and civilized society is the advent and usage of the television set. This isn’t to say that all things on TV are geared towards brainwashing you. They’re not. But most of the programming on television today is run and programming by the largest media corporations that have interests in defense contracts, such as Westinghouse (CBS), and General Electric (NBC). This makes perfect sense when you see how slanted and warped the news is today. Examining the conflicts of interest is merely glancing at the issue, although to understand the multiple ways that lies become truth, we need to examine the techniques of brain washing that the networks are employing.
Radio isn’t any different in its ability to brainwash a population into submission. Sixty-seven years ago, six million Americans became unwitting subjects in an experiment in psychological warfare. It was the night before Halloween, 1938. At 8 p.m. CST, the Mercury Radio on the Air began broadcasting Orson Welles’ radio adaptation of H. G. Wells’ War of the Worlds. As is now well known, the story was presented as if it were breaking news, with bulletins so realistic that an estimated one million people believed the world was actually under attack by Martians. Of that number, thousands succumbed to outright panic, not waiting to hear Welles’ explanation at the end of the program that it had all been a Halloween prank, but fleeing into the night to escape the alien invaders.
According to researcher Mack White ( http://www.mackwhite.com/), “Psychologist Hadley Cantril conducted a study of the effects of the broadcast and published his findings in a book, The Invasion from Mars: A Study in the Psychology of Panic. This study explored the power of broadcast media, particularly as it relates to the suggestibility of human beings under the influence of fear. Cantril was affiliated with Princeton University’s Radio Research Project, which was funded in 1937 by the Rockefeller Foundation. Also affiliated with the Project was Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) member and Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) executive Frank Stanton, whose network had broadcast the program. Stanton would later go on to head the news division of CBS, and in time would become president of the network, as well as chairman of the board of the RAND Corporation, the influential think tank which has done groundbreaking research on, among other things, mass brainwashing. Two years later, with Rockefeller Foundation money, Cantril established the Office of Public Opinion Research (OPOR), also at Princeton. Among the studies conducted by the OPOR was an analysis of the effectiveness of “psycho-political operations” (propaganda, in plain English) of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), the forerunner of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Then, during World War II, Cantril and Rockefeller money assisted CFR member and CBS reporter Edward R. Murrow in setting up the Princeton Listening Center, the purpose of which was to study Nazi radio propaganda with the object of applying Nazi techniques to OSS propaganda. Out of this project came a new government agency, the Foreign Broadcast Intelligence Service (FBIS). The FBIS eventually became the United States Information Agency (USIA), which is the propaganda arm of the National Security Council. Thus, by the end of the 1940s, the basic research had been done and the propaganda apparatus of the national security state had been set up–just in time for the Dawn of Television.”
Experiments conducted by researcher Herbert Krugman reveal that when a person watches television, brain activity switches from the left to the right hemisphere. The left hemisphere is the seat of logical thought. Here, information is broken down into its component parts and critically analyzed. The right brain, however, treats incoming data uncritically, processing information in wholes, leading to emotional, rather than logical responses. The shift from left to right brain activity also causes the release of endorphins, the body’s own natural opiates–thus, it is possible to become physically addicted to watching television, a hypothesis borne out by numerous studies which have shown that very few people are able to kick the television habit. It’s no longer an overstatement to note that the youth today that are raised and taught through network television are intellectually dead by their early teens.
The dumbing down of humanity is represented by another shift which occurs in the brain when we watch television. Activity in the higher brain regions (such as the neo-cortex) is diminished, while activity in the lower brain regions (such as the limbic system) increases. The latter, commonly referred to as the reptile brain, is associated with more primitive mental functions, such as the “fight or flight” response. The reptile brain is unable to distinguish between reality and the simulated reality of television. To the reptile brain, if it looks real, it is real. Thus, though we know on a conscious level it is “only a film,” on a conscious level we do not–the heart beats faster, for instance, while we watch a suspenseful scene. Similarly, we know the commercial is trying to manipulate us, but on an unconscious level the commercial nonetheless succeeds in, say, making us feel inadequate until we buy whatever thing is being advertised–and the effect is all the more powerful because it is unconscious, operating on the deepest level of human response. The reptile brain makes it possible for us to survive as biological beings, but it also leaves us vulnerable to the manipulations of television programmers. This is where the manipulators use our own emotions as strings to control us. The distortions and directions we are being moved to are taking place in the subconscious, often undetected.
Propaganda techniques were first codified and applied in a scientific manner by journalist Walter Lippman and psychologist Edward Bernays (nephew of Sigmund Freud) early in the 20th century. During World War I, Lippman and Bernays were hired by then United States President, Woodrow Wilson, to participate in the Creel Commission, the mission of which was to sway popular opinion in favor of entering the war, on the side of Britain. Edward Bernays said in his 1928 book Propaganda that, “The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country.”
The Creel Commission provided themes for speeches by “four-minute men” at public functions, and also encouraged censorship of the American press. The Commission was so unpopular that after the war, Congress closed it down without providing funding to organize and archive its papers. The war propaganda campaign of Lippman and Bernays produced within six months such an intense anti-German hysteria as to permanently impress American business (and Adolf Hitler, among others) with the potential of large-scale propaganda to control public opinion. Bernays coined the terms “group mind” and “engineering consent”, important concepts in practical propaganda work. The current public relations industry is a direct outgrowth of Lippman’s and Bernays’ work and is still used extensively by the United States government. For the first half of the 20th century Betrays and Lip man ran a very successful public relations firm. World War II saw continued use of propaganda as a weapon of war, both by Hitler’s propagandist Joseph Gobbles and the British Political Warfare Executive, as well as the United States Office of War Information.

Turn on your local newscast. You have a few minutes of blue-collar crime, hardly any white collar crime, a few minutes of sports, misc. chit chat, random political jibber-jabber, and a look at the weather that no one is forecasting correctly. Is that what happened in your town? And we’re supposed to own the airwaves! The mainstream media openly supports the interests of the prison industrial complex. The stories focus on minority criminal groups, and exploit the real threat to appear much more dangerous than they are. Think about the growing per capita number of prisoners in the country. Then remember that this is happening at the same time that our prison boom began. The police on our streets have created criminals. The focus is to keep us in a state of fear, that way the elitists can attack any group they want to without fear of consequence. This is why the media is continuing to craft the timeless art of dehumanization.
The techniques are increasing in their sophistication over time as the mind scientists that serve the empire continue to discover scientific breakthroughs as to how the human brain functions, learns, retains information, and behaves. The most effective brainwashing techniques are used on the most successful propaganda networks. Examine the music bed that lies low during the fright night scope of the second. It’s spooky. I wonder if we are supposed to be thinking with our minds or getting ready for stunt. Observe the graphics with the music. They’re glitzy and flashing. Like the monkey that is attracted to shiny objects, it’s our monkey hand that controls to remote often stops the search for entertainment when the proper amount of glamour catches their attention. Most importantly, notice the repetition behind the lies that the politicians and their corporate media groupies tell us. You see, the unimaginable fallacies are created as ‘truth’ not because it’s logical or provable, but because of the broken record technique. No matter how ridiculous the lie, it’s repeated often enough that the brain doesn’t know the difference between reality and nursery rhymes. This technique is under estimated in its ability to allow the puppeteers to hypnotize millions of people. Instead of “Fair and balanced” it’s “We say it enough times, and you believe it.”
It’s a tragic day when the state can monopolize on the enslaving and imprisonment of a population. Hollywood will continue to frighten us with films on the mafia, gangsters, and the corrupt blue collar criminal whose stupidity and greed get them caught. In the end, our minds are already pre conditioned to accept living in a police state economy and society because we read it in the paper, saw it praised on the news and talk shows, or saw it in a movie. There are several movies planned right now that support the official story of 911 and a few movies that glamorize the War on IRAQ. According to David L Robb, Author of Operation Hollywood, “Hollywood and the Pentagon have a long history of making movies together. It’s a tradition that stretches back to the early days of silent films, and extends right up until the present day. It’s been a collaboration that works well for both sides. Hollywood producers get what they want – access to billions of dollars worth of military hardware and equipment – tanks, jet fighters, nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers – and the military gets what it wants – films that portray the military in a positive light; films that help the services in their recruiting efforts. The Pentagon is not merely a passive supporter of films, however. If the Pentagon doesn’t like a script, it will usually suggest script changes that will allow the film to receive the military’s support and approval. Sometimes these proposed changes are minor. But sometimes the changes are dramatic. Sometimes they change dialogue. Sometimes they change characters. Sometimes they even change history.” They create something coined ‘disinfotainment’. They mix disinformation with entertainment and call it disinfotainment.
Unadulterated Violence is now accepted on regular TV. Killing in the name of the mother government is praised, that is unless the violence is committed in self defense to protect someone from the system. Sharp shooters, bombers, and assassin are worshipped if they are fighting for the system, are in the military, or are associated with groups that control the masses locally, such as the local police department. I don’t condone violence, however it’s hypocritical to support one form of homicide when it favors the elite, and condemn another when it’s done to protect your land, freedom, or loved ones. This odd reality transfers itself into the shady world of video games that are stepped in plots and tasks to kill as much as the player can. The players are getting younger and younger with 7 out of 10 children playing games with a ‘Mature’ rating. Recently I was browsing the PC video game selection at a very large electronics store. I was appalled to see nearly 50 different games in which the setting of the game is IRAQ and the goal is to kill as many insurgents as possible and fulfill the mission. Children today are being indoctrinated through their favorite games and law enforcement programs to be the button pushes of the weapons of mass destruction for tomorrow’s world.
Is it any wonder why there are two house bills and a senate bill (with more on the way), which are giant steps in dismantling free speech of the general public. These bills together would kill (PEG) cable access centers where the public still owns the airwaves. It’s the programming created locally, without censorship or commercial gain. Their income is derived from franchises within the local cities and a small percentage cable subscriber frees. This is a corporate takeover because this is centralizing communication by removing the locally based programming and moving the audience to the more official, nationalistic, and sensational programs that promotes violence, uniformity, and slavery over peach, diversity and freedom. Cable access features free speech and information with perspectives neglected by mainstream television. It also features a free flow programming system with fresh programs being aired by new producers on a rotating basis. This keeps the content and information creative and locally based while network TV is rigid with regular time slots and repetitive programming.
The blocks of programming that are universally accepted parallel the shift to craft our entire lives towards the factory’s bell and the illusion of time. This is the creation of the hive mind. The hive mind is result of massive brainwashing to the general public. Everyone shares the same thoughts, goals, knowledge and understanding. A hive mind society gears itself towards conformity and ignores diversity while masqueraded as the road to utopia in mainstream television. Network programming, weather it’s the news or drama, is geared towards artificially creating your world and reality. With the proper amount of entertainment and sensationalism, we may even be living our lives through the television set. Many anchors and actors are beautiful and research shows that attractive people are usually perceived as trust worthy. While the real news rolls quickly by on the bottom of your screen, the anchor is selling you on the idea of having your very own police state hell hole right here in your local jurisdiction, or how 2 sports opposing teams chased around on a court for 2 hours in attempt to score points means something to you. No education, no information, SPIN. Today the media represents a tool of brainwashing and indoctrination that is utilized on behalf of the owners interests.
Since the 1996 Telco act, television and radio stations all across the nation were bought out by major international media outlets. Clear Channel and Infinity are the two largest corporations in radio today. This has centralized the distribution of information and has threatened our free society ever since. The media drums to the heartbeat of its owners, whose interests are not of the general public. Instead they are interested in their other financial endeavors like defense contracting, oil business, political parties, prison industry. The conflicts of interest are monumental with the deregulation of the corporations. The lines are now blurred between one network’s coverage of the war and the other.
Once we come to the conclusion that the media is intentionally deceiving us, we can apply the principles of problem-reaction-solution. This formula takes a problem by either creating it or allowing it to happen and presenting that to the population. It could be terrorism, molestation, extra terrestrials. These topics create fear and no one in their right mind would support terrorism or crime. It’s therefore OK to blast the television, the papers, and radio with ‘the problem.’ The natural reaction from the people is a request for more control to ensure more safety. Most let their fear and emotional side control their decisions and usually translated into something like, “The government needs more power over our lives to make us safer and freer from tyranny. I believe what the media tells me so I will support whatever decisions they make.” Today’s mainstream corporate news program discourages dissent of the war and paints activists with a negative brush that hints of treason. At the same time, the so-called journalists are cogs in a much larger machine who know that if they report a story that paints the government in a dark light, is likely to remain on ‘the wire’ and off the front page.
The most disturbing thing about spending a single hour examining network cable news and modern Hollywood films are the reoccurring themes in the backdrop. The central ideas of countless “investigative reports” or “Friday night special” features are about a threat of some type over the horizon. The end of the world as we know it is being sold. If the news isn’t feeding it to you, then the History Channel or Discover Channel are either talking about the crusades, asteroids, UFOs, earthquakes, terrorism, or exposes about serial killers. They are crafted a message that our world is unstable, and the threat is always an invisible and dangerous one that only our military can fix. When you record and log all the messages, you end up with a script, a screen write produced through the movie studios of Hollywood hell.
I am not alone in noting this observation. Local and network news are designing their editorials about despair and fear because the owners, producers, and editors now understand that fear sells. The end result are the desired ratings, delivered like expected. The masters of modern spin understand that we like to be terrified. Just look at the success in the action/suspense/terror genres that have plopped onto the conveyor belt and packaged for our glee consumption. When the editors in charge found out that simply plastering a terror alert chart didn’t scare the people the same way it used to, they began to kick up the campaign of terror a few notches with new and creative ways to sell the police state.
When you get to the other side of the terror alerts of all shapes and sizes, you find another nightmare masquerading as the savior. The ‘Ministry of Truth’ will protect you. The mother government is here to rescue you and squash this brown terrorist bug, this gray alien, this avian bird flu, and every other nightmare that the nightly news brought you. The finest public relations specialists take the science of worshipping our kings down to a frame by frame level. George W. Bush is pictured in numerous poises with a hallo around his head. In other pictures, he stands tall with dozens of American flags blowing in the wind behind him. A more blasphemous display features him speaking in front of the cross of Jesus Christ. The message send couldn’t be more clearly presented. Our current leaders are of the messiah status and only through them, will we reach the gates of safety. The lie that has been accepted by so many as truth is that this is a religious war. Numerous prime time programs are telling the story of the crusades (without the horrors) to synch our vibrations up to something out of the 13th Century, instead of the 21st Century. If the America people accept the fact that the crusades are here, that George Bush reports directly to god, and that revelations are here, then they have won the war for our minds.
The loudspeaker whispers, “All our problems are by accident, never design.” Across the room the system’s minion snorts, “If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear.” It’s that plot that says Middle Eastern terrorists from an Afghan cave are the reason beyond our little, “War on terror.” Related messages in the script demonize young minority males and suggest harsh punishments for crimes they commit. They don’t come out overtly and state their racist agenda. They come at you from the side by airing the same crime news repetitively, usually when it’s committed by the minority group. The networks love the fact that the TV sets the norms in society and today, and hence politically opinion. Who would imagine that in the United States of America, both candidates of both parties in the 2004 election would be members of the Skull and Bones society at Yale University? Out of 290 million Americans, this is the best we could come up with?
It is the decision of the owners to influence producers, editors, and others involved to paint to brush to fit the objective, which is the bottom line. If Sports is what the people want, then they get it, usually in large doses. Multi-media sports (or spectator sports) is just an escape from our own existence. It’s like gambling, or drug addiction. It provides that buffer zone of rooting for something with other people that we’ve been told is good. People’s fantasies also lead them to fixating on sports. Its simulated masculinity, in an age where there’s a push to change us from men to robots. It’s human nature to resist and fight that which is suppressing us. The sociologists and psychologists in areas of influence know this. Spectator sports prove the outlet internationally for what has been stripped away from us. We’ve lost the right to rebel and change our government through warfare if necessary. Today the bulk of our nation’s population today doesn’t know what’s really going on with the fall of the American dollar and the plans for the transfer of American wealth to other countries. However, most can tell you who the top basketball or football players are. A lot of fans wish they were the stars, out there on the stage, the court, and the drag strip. Either you’re “numero uno” in center stage or you’re nothing. End of story.
What I never understood when I was in high school was why my peers and friends would act naïve or ignorant in a “Wayne’s World” or “Beavis and Butthead” kind of way. What I’ve learned since then is that the numerous programs that are pimping themselves of as ‘entertainment’ are actually demo graphed to the lowest common denominator. This is especially true with disc jockeys in Radio today. The reason our airwaves are saturated with jokes and content centered on fart jokes, private parts, borderline racism, and general trash talk is because it is selling. In the meantime, large numbers of our children, young adults, and older audiences are mimicking what they see and hear because the current ‘norm’ is selling this behavior as cool or ‘chic.’ When the conditioned is so intense that these forms of content are considered the norm, anything else seems either bizarre or uninteresting to the average American’s attention span that is decreasing by the day. Hypothetically, if a producer on a network did get away from a feature story exposing government corruption at the highest levels, chances are the large impact necessary wouldn’t be realized because the average viewer’s brain has already been conditioned to seek out certain types of disinfotainment.
The media has created the picture perfect society that could exist if we only did things their way, (their interests/government interest). It tells us what happiness is and what it is not and same for love, hate or anything else they can implant into our sub consciousness. We can become the perfect slave to the system through indoctrination given through network TV. Over time the messages are becoming increasingly racist, violent, and dishonest. But the programming began decades ago and few have the eyes to see it for what it has become. We live in a world where the populations give their minds away to the official version of the event, where utopia is right around the corner when big brother is riding shotgun. It’s a world where Hollywood can make you believe anything, even that you are free. It’s a world in which the prosecutor and the judge sit on the same side of the bench. The most obvious reason that our minds are being controlled on a massive scale psychologically, is become our culture has been conditioned incriminatingly to a TV, a radio, or a paper. We are given the world reality through a screen, some ink, or radio waves. The truth is hiding in plain site. The indoctrination through these mediums warns us that views other than those presented by them are unimportant and too be condemned. This Administration and media monopoly has a carefully crafted dehumanization program to anyone that dissents the official version of events.
Some people are wrong about 5% of the time. Some are wrong most of the time. I wish I was wrong all the time. A lot of people deal with these
intense realities, by asking me rhetorically, “What is the solution, smart guy?” Remember, it’s the viewers, the consumers and all the other little votes called dollars that helped this oligarchy system lay its concrete foundation in our backyards. We must recognize the truth about why the system is flawed and enslaving us if we wish to beat it. The most important solution to fighting this type of brainwashing and mind control is to start with ourselves and our own awakening in the smaller things. In this case, it’s brainwashing but after awhile we break Outside the Box and begin venturing outside the system and into unknown terrain. Fighting with people and forcing them to understand ‘our truth’ is not a solution. If our collective free will created this nightmare, than only our collective free will change it. The battle begins in the heart and mind of the beholder, and then extends outward from there, only to those open to the information.
If you choose to travel the road to the truth, then you must be prepared for the obstacles that await you. You may be condemned or criticized by your family, your friends, your lovers, or your co-workers. This is their programming that began at birth that is doing exactly what it’s supposed to do. You’re going to have to be stronger than that. You must realize that there is a reality that exists outside of this controlled artificial system. Like Indiana Jones in the Last Crusade, he took that ‘leap of faith’ over the bridgeless canyon in an attempt to get to the other side. Like Neo in the Matrix, he took the red pill from Morpheus in his attempt to cross over to his real self. Once you wake up, it’s as if a hypnotist came along and snapped his fingers. You wake up and say to yourself, “Oh my god. I can see it now. Why did it take me so long to wake up?!” For some of you it can be a major shock. Like anything else, take this information and knowledge in stages. If it took a lifetime for them to mold your reality for you, then you know that it may take longer than a day to fully awaken. Remember, the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

There were a ton of grammatical errors in this editorial, but it was very thorough and the mistakes did not cloud the message.
I’m not an English major, or else I would correct the piece and send it back edited myself, but it would probably be a good idea for the webmasters on the site to re-edit and then repost the more grammatically correct version because it will only help to sell the credibility of the piece no matter how true it is!

TV creeps me right out now a days, I never noticed before but it seems that if I spend a Monday thinking about certain episodes of a show, or wanting to see more hockey on tv shows, on Tuesday the episodes I was wanting to see on Monday are now on, and some even contain blurbs about hockey…..it’s really kinda freaky….I don’t know if I should be worried or if AJ has just made me completely paranoid to the extent that I need to analyze every small little aspect of my life????? Just freaks me out…anyone ever notice s--- like that happen to them? Mind controlled programming?
And whats up with the comcast digital boxes that will be required to view any TV starting in Feb/09?? Thats got me really really worried….they’ll need to be taken apart the minute they are purchased to see what sort of little camera they have embedded in them…A mandatory TV box…hmmm…sounds a little too much like 1984….

Politics or consumer advertising, it makes no difference. The end result is the same. People are literally hypnotized into doing what the television tells them to do.
One question that has been asked but I haven’t gotten an answer to is whether or not the same hypnotic effect is achieved from the LCD or the TFT(?) televisions that is achieved from the ambient glow of the CRT of the standard televisions. The research done concluded it was the ambient glow of the CRT which induced the Alpha wave mental state which is the same state as deep hypnosis.
I did research into advertising methods on television and I found that advertisers make their commercials more emotional than reasonable. Appeal to a man emotional inadequacies with the opposite sex when they market their body sprays and use the same approach with women.
Politicians do the same thing. Make a more emotional appeal with television advertising and less emotional with printed advertising.

The idea of dumbing down people in this country is all too real. along with that there has been the plan all along to keep people in this country so pre-occupied with themselves and their own needs.
Example: The Women’s lib movement was founded by the CIA and the Rockefeller foundation to introduce women into the marketplace to accomplish many objectives. One of those was to make them angry, resentful & divisive towards men and for the government to have another source to collect taxes on. Nowadays, even (2) incomes is still not enough. that’s not by accident either!
The average household in America today is so busy just taking care of it’s own needs that it literally doesn’t have time to inform itself as to what these cretins from the NWO are really up to. The biggest irony is how here, in the UK, we managed to commit so many atrocities abroad during Empire, yet persuaded ourselves we are a green and tolerant land. Good marketing! Same with USA, land of the free, unless you were Indigenous, Black, Asian or Hispanic… Maybe after the ’60s Civil Liberty campaigns there was potential progress…. but it sold itself the belief that it was, and is, a place that truly represented Freedom! Many of us still have a great deal of warmth for America – I was a Motown baby, Soul boy and Jazz Warrior – my media and music has been American. There was a lot of love in there somewhere. Same with the comedies and comic, lots of laughs! So with that laughter and love, America DOES mean some good vibes – yup, the Hippy peace and love of the ’60s has lasted – but the 21st century evokes the horrors of past UK and USA colonial enterprises, which lasted from… ooooh, 15th to 20th century UP until the 1960s…? Hmmm.
That means for some of us any golden age is severely restricted to the (potential of) 1960s-’80s, maybe???
I lose myself. The great thing about the above piece, I am realising as I’m writing, is that the media and psychology behind it, served and targeted it’s own particular demographic. Who? I’m scared to point it out, for fear of upsetting or being racist (okay, the demographic targeted by the BBC radio and then TV services was and is…? The English/Brits. And in the USA…?)
It was and is THAT demographic that is the silent partner, albeit duped partner, of the government industrial military coporate media complex. e.g. here in the UK, the question asked about WWII is how could so many Germans go along with the Nazis…? I’ve always wanted to know how so many Brits went along with colonialism – equally fascist in outlook. Yup, ask THAT demographic. How have they been such willing Dupees??

The day the US declared war on Iran

March 20 is destined to be another day of infamy. On this date this year, the US officially declared war on Iran. But it’s not going to be the kind of war many have been expecting.
No, there was no dramatic televised announcement by President George W Bush from the White House. In fact, on this day, reports the Washington Post, Bush spent some time communicating directly with Iranians, telling them via Radio Farda (the US-financed broadcaster that transmits to Iran in Farsi, Iran’s native language) that their government has “declared they want to have a nuclear weapon to destroy people”. But not to worry, he told his listeners in Farsi-translated Bushspeak: Tehran would not get the bomb because the US would be ‘firm’.”
Over at the US Congress, no war resolution was passed, no
debate transpired, no last-minute hearing on the Iran “threat” was held. The Pentagon did not put its forces on red alert and cancel all leave. The top story on the Pentagon’s website (on March 20) was: “Bush lauds military’s performance in terror war”, a feel-good piece about the president’s appearance on the US military’s TV channel to praise “the performance and courage of US troops engaged in the global war on terrorism”. Bush discussed Iraq, Afghanistan and Africa, but not Iran.
But make no mistake. As of Thursday, March 20 the US is at war with Iran. So who made it official?
A unit within the US Treasury Department, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), which issued a March 20 advisory to the world’s financial institutions under the title: “Guidance to financial institutions on the continuing money laundering threat involving illicit Iranian activity.”
FinCEN, though part of the chain of command, is better known to bankers and lawyers than to students of US foreign policy. Nevertheless, when the history of this newly declared war is one day written (assuming the war is allowed to proceed) FinCEN’s role will be as important as that played by US Central Command (CENTCOM) in directing the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
In its March 20 advisory, FinCEN reminds the global banking community that United Nations Security Council Resolution (UNSC) 1803 (passed on March 3, 2008) “calls on member states to exercise vigilance over the activities of financial institutions in their territories with all banks domiciled in Iran, and their branches and subsidiaries abroad”.
UNSC 1803 specifically mentions two Iranian state-owned banks: Bank Melli and Bank Saderat. These two banks (plus their overseas branches and certain subsidiaries), along with a third state-owned bank, Bank Sepah, were also unilaterally sanctioned by the US in 2007 under anti-proliferation and anti-terrorism presidential executive orders 13382 and 13224.
As of March 20, however, the US, speaking through FinCEN, is now telling all banks around the world “to take into account the risk arising from the deficiencies in Iran’s AML/CFT [anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism] regime, as well as all applicable US and international sanctions programs, with regard to any possible transactions” with – and this is important – not just the above three banks but every remaining state-owned, private and special government bank in Iran.
In other words, FinCEN charges, all of Iran’s banks – including the central bank (also on FinCEN’s list) – represent a risk to the international financial system, no exceptions. Confirmation is possible by comparing FinCEN’s list of risky Iranian banks with the listing of Iranian banks provided by Iran’s central bank.
The “deficiencies in Iran’s AML/CFT” is important because it provides the rationale FinCEN will now use to deliver the ultimate death blow to Iran’s ability to participate in the international banking system. The language is borrowed from Paris-based Financial Action Task Force (FATF), a group of 32 countries and two territories set up by the Group of Seven in 1989 to fight money laundering and terrorist financing.
As the FinCEN advisory describes, in October 2007 the FATF stated “that Iran’s lack of a comprehensive anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) regime represents a significant vulnerability in the international financial system. In response to the FATF statement, Iran passed its first AML law in February 2008. The FATF, however, reiterated its concern about continuing deficiencies in Iran’s AML/CFT system in a statement on February 28, 2008.”
Actually, the February 28 FATF statement does not comment on Iran’s new anti-money laundering law. The statement does say, however, that the FATF has been working with Iran since the October 2007 FATF statement was issued and “welcomes the commitment made by Iran to improve its AML/CFT regime”. Moreover, the February 28 statement, for whatever reason, drops the “significant vulnerability” wording, opting instead to reaffirm that financial authorities around the world should “advise” their domestic banks to exercise “enhanced due diligence” concerning Iran’s AML/CFT “deficiencies”.
In linking its March 20 advisory to the recent FATF statements, apparently FinCEN cannot wait for FATF or anyone else to evaluate the effectiveness of Iran’s brand new anti-financial crime laws.
Anyway, the “deficiencies in Iran’s AML/CFT” is probably the main wording FinCEN will use to justify application of one its most powerful sanctions tools, a USA Patriot Act Section 311 designation (see below).
Hammering away at Iran’s state-owned banks is central to US efforts to raise an international hue and cry. Through its state-owned banks, FinCEN states, “the government of Iran disguises its involvement in proliferation and terrorism activities through an array of deceptive practices specifically designed to evade detection”. By managing to get inserted the names of two state-owned banks in the most recent UN Security Council resolution on Iran, the US can now portray the cream of Iran’s financial establishment (Bank Melli and Bank Saderat are Iran’s two largest banks) as directly integrated into alleged regime involvement in a secret nuclear weaponization program and acts of terrorism.
To inject further alarm, FinCEN accuses Iran’s central bank of “facilitating transactions for sanctioned Iranian banks” based on evidence (which for various reasons appears true) gathered by Treasury and other US agencies that the central bank has facilitated erasure of the names of Iranian banks “from global transactions in order to make it more difficult for intermediary financial institutions to determine the true parties in the transaction”.
The central bank is also charged with continuing to “provide financial services to Iranian entities” (government agencies, business firms and individuals) named in two earlier UNSC resolutions, 1737 and 1747. In defense, Iran’s central bank governor recently said: “The central bank assists Iranian private and state-owned banks to do their commitments regardless of the pressure on them” and charged the US with “financial terrorism”.
So what does all this bureaucratic financial rigmarole mean?
What it really means is that the US, again through FinCEN, has declared two acts of war: one against Iran’s banks and one against any financial institution anywhere in the world that tries to do business with an Iranian bank.
The North Korean experience
To understand how this works requires understanding what FinCEN does. This means going back to September 2005, when the US Treasury Department, based on the investigatory work of FinCEN, sanctioned a small bank in Macau, which in turn got North Korea really upset.
FinCEN’s mission “is to safeguard the financial system from the abuses of financial crime, including terrorist financing, money laundering and other illicit activity” (FinCEN website).
Under Section 311 of the USA Patriot Act the US Treasury Department, acting through FinCEN, has been provided with “a range of options that can be adapted to target specific money laundering and terrorist financing concerns”. Specifically, Section 311 contains six “special measures” to significantly increase the powers of the Treasury (and other US government agencies) to block alleged terrorist financing activities. As explained by a Treasury official during April 2006 testimony before Congress, the most punitive measure requires:
US financial institutions to terminate correspondent relationships with the designated entity. Such a defensive measure effectively cuts that entity off from the US financial system. It has a profound effect, not only in insulating the US financial system from abuse, but also in notifying financial institutions and jurisdictions globally of an illicit finance risk.
On September 20, 2005 FinCEN issued a finding under Section 311 that Banco Delta Asia (BDA), a small bank in the Chinese territory of Macau, was a “primary money laundering concern”. BDA was alleged to have knowingly allowed its North Korean clients to use the bank to engage in deceptive financial practices and a variety of financial crimes (such as money laundering of profits from drug trafficking and counterfeit US$100 “supernotes”).
By publicizing its allegations, FinCEN let the world know that BDA was now at risk of having all “correspondent relationships” with US banks severed, a disaster for any bank wanting to remain networked to the largest financial market in the world. Frightened BDA customers reacted by staging a run on the bank’s assets.
In the interest of self-preservation, BDA was forced to act. After a quick conference with Macau financial authorities the bank decided to freeze North Korean funds on deposit.
It just so happened that the day before the FinCEN finding was made public the US and North Korea, working through the six-party talks process (also involving host China, Russia, South Korea and Japan), had formally agreed on a new diplomatic roadmap that promised to lead to a denuclearized and permanently peaceful Northeast Asia. But because of Treasury’s BDA sanctions, North Korea was now labeled an international financial outlaw and the six-party process stalled.
Other banks began severing their business ties with North Korea, leaving the country more isolated than ever from global commerce and finance. These other banks had no choice. Treasury repeatedly made clear that any bank that continued to do business with North Korea was another potential Patriot Act Section 311 target.
In anger, North Korea withdrew from the six-party process. It required 18 months of negotiations before a diplomatic and financial approach was devised that left BDA blacklisted but allowed North Korea to regain access to its frozen funds and rejoin six-party negotiations.
Neither FinCEN nor anyone else at Treasury has ever publicly produced any evidence in support of the financial crime allegations against BDA and North Korea.
If Treasury was eventually forced to back off in the BDA case (apparently because the Bush administration changed its policy priorities), it had discovered that Patriot Act Section 311 could really shake things up.
The “real impact” of the BDA-North Korea sanctions, as Treasury Under Secretary Stuart Levey told members of the American Bar Association in March, was that “many private financial institutions worldwide responded by terminating their business relationships not only with [BDA], but with North Korean clients altogether”.
Levey and his Treasury colleagues had come up with a way to go beyond governments to use the global banking sector to privatize banking sector sanctions against an entire country (this, by the way, is presidential candidate John McCain’s proposed strategy for dealing with Iran as described in the November/December 2007 issue of the journal Foreign Affairs ).
This “key difference” in the “reaction by the private sector” was an exciting revelation. Through a little extraterritorial legal arm-twisting of the international banking community, the US was able to put “enormous pressure on the [North Korean] regime – even the most reclusive government depends on access to the international financial system”, said Levey. Washington now had “a great deal of leverage in its diplomacy over the nuclear issue with North Korea”.
Turning to the present, Levey informed the gathering of US lawyers that “we are currently in the midst of an effort to apply these same lessons to the very real threat posed by Iran”. However, “Iran presents a more complex challenge than North Korea because of its greater integration into the international financial community.”
Over the past two years, Levey and other Treasury officials have been crisscrossing the globe to make it abundantly clear in meetings (described by Treasury as opportunities to “share information”) with banking and government officials in the world’s key financial centers that dealing with Iran is a risky business. Levey frequently claims that major European and Asia banks, once they hear the US pitch, freely decided to cooperate with anti-Iran banking sanctions for reasons of “good corporate citizenship” and a “desire to protect their institutions’ reputations”.
But these meetings include quite a bit of browbeating. This can be deduced from some of Levey’s public statements, such as his testimony to Congress. On March 21, 2007, Levey told the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs that unilateral US financial sanctions “warn people and businesses not to deal with the designated target. And those who might still be tempted to work with targeted high risk actors get the message loud and clear: if they do so, they may be next.”
Also, the possibility of becoming a Patriot Act Section 311 sanctions victim (which means exclusion from the US market) probably comes up at the meetings, as this part of his testimony indirectly suggests: “Our list of targeted proliferators is incorporated into the compliance systems at major financial institutions worldwide, who have little appetite for the business of proliferation firms and who also need to be mindful of US measures given their ties to the US financial system.”
Reportedly, Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson has also been involved in high-level meetings around the world concerning Iran, which presumably includes presentations on the arsenal of US financial sanctions. The message he imparts is unknown, but hints of the likely content can be found in public statements.
Among Treasury officials, Paulson has used the most dramatic language by making the argument that not only is Iran a danger to the international community but that this danger permeates virtually all of Iranian society. In a June 14, 2007, speech to the Council on Foreign Relations he first makes the point that the
Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) is a “paramilitary” organization “directly involved in the planning and support of terrorist acts, as well as funding and training other terrorist groups”. Then he offers the alarming revelation that the IRGC “is so deeply entrenched in Iran’s economy and commercial enterprises, it is increasingly likely that if you are doing business with Iran, you are somehow doing business with the IRGC”.
With such language, Treasury lays the groundwork for applying financial sanctions against the entirety of Iran. All this makes clear that the growing coalition of bankers against Iran the US likes to trumpet may not be such a willing group.
Some indication of how unwilling can be found in the pages of Der
Spiegel (English edition). In July 2007, the German news magazine reported that “anyone wishing to do business in the United States or hoping to attract US investors had best tread softly when it comes to Iran. Germany’s Commerzbank stopped financing trade with Iran in US dollars in January, after the Americans piled on the pressure”. One German banker interviewed said: “German financial institutions feel the United States government has been engaging in ‘downright blackmail’.” The magazine goes on to report: “Anti-terror officials from the US Treasury are constantly showing up to demand they cut their traditionally good relations with Iran. The underlying threat from the men from Washington is that they wouldn’t want to support terrorism, would they?”
Also, an April 2007 report from Britain’s House of Lords Economic Affairs Committee states that the Confederation of British Industry indicated “strong concern” about Patriot Act provisions and other US extra-territorial sanctions. The committee recognized the need for “vigorous action” in response to terrorist threats but also “endorse[d] the condemnation by the EU [European Union] of the extra-territorial application of US sanctions legislation as a violation of international law”.
Thus the US will need help from European government leaders to overcome resistance among major European financial institutions to US-led financial sanctions. Such help has already come from German Chancellor Angela Merkel. During her recent state visit to Israel, Merkel told the Knesset (Parliament) that Iran was global enemy number one. “What do we do when a majority says the greatest threat to the world comes from Israel and not from Iran?” she asked. “Do we bow our heads? Do we give up our efforts to combat the Iranian threat? However inconvenient and uncomfortable the alternative is, we do not do that.” Iran is public enemy number in the world, and everyone – including the European banking establishment it would seem – has to accept that.
To summarize to this point: (1) the March 20 advisory represents a US declaration of war by sanctions on Iran and a sanctions threat to the international banking community, (2) the US has various unilateral financial sanctions measures at its command in the form of executive orders and Patriot Act Section 311 and (3) the BDA-North Korea sanctions were, at least in retrospect, a test run for Iran.
If the US succeeds, an international quarantine on Iran’s banks would disrupt Iran’s financial linkages with the world by blocking its ability to process cross-border payments for goods and services exported and imported. Without those linkages, Iran is unlikely to be able to engage in global trade and commerce. As 30% of Iran’s gross domestic product in 2005 was imports of goods and services and 20% was non-oil exports (World Bank and other data), a large chunk of Iran’s economy would shrivel up. The repercussions will be painful and extend well beyond lost business and profits. For example, treating curable illnesses will become difficult. According to an Iranian Health Ministry official, Iran produces 95% of its own medicines but most pharmaceutical-related raw materials are imported.
With a financial sanctions war declared, what happens next? There have been some hints.
On February 25, the Wall Street Journal reported that Treasury was considering sanctioning Iran’s central bank (known as Bank Markazi). “The central bank is the keystone of Iran’s financial system and its principal remaining lifeline to the international banking system,” explains the Journal. “US sanctions against it could have a severe impact on Iranian trade if other nations in Europe and Asia choose to go along with them.” In anticipation of future events, the Journal notes: “US officials have begun trying to lay the groundwork for a move against the central bank in public statements and meetings with key allies.”
So look for the following to happen in the coming weeks: FinCEN will probably issue a Patriot Act Section 311 finding that Iran’s central bank is a “primary laundering concern”. The “deficiencies in Iran’s AML/CFT” wording lifted from the FATF statement will be a key reason for that finding. The finding may be accompanied by a formal decision to cut off Iran’s central bank from the US financial market, or such a decision could come later.
Of course, an actual or threatened cut-off has no immediate financial implications for Iran since no Iranian-flagged bank is doing business in the US, except possibly to allow shipments from the US of humanitarian provisions of food and medicine, which, if they exist, probably terminate with the March 20 FinCEN announcement.
But a Section 311 designation of Iran’s central bank would have a powerful coercive effect on the world’s banks. For any bank in Europe, Asia or anywhere else that goes near the central bank, once the 311 blacklist is on, it would be the kiss of death for that bank’s participation in the international banking community, as it was (and remains today) for BDA. Not only would that bank be barred from the US financial market, it would also be shunned by European and Japanese financial markets, as government and private banking officials in those markets are likely to cooperate with Washington’s intensifying sanctions campaign.
What about China, now one of the world’s major financial centers (two Chinese banks ranked among the top 25 in The Banker’s 2007 survey of world banks) and a major trading partner for Iran?
China and Japan “were the top two recipients of exports from Iran, together accounting for more than one-quarter of Iran’s exports in 2006″, according to an analysis of International Monetary Fund trading statistics contained in a December 2007 US Government Accountability Office (GAO) report on Washington’s anti-Iran sanctions regime. On the import side, the GAO found that in 2006 “Germany and China were Iran’s largest providers of imports, accounting for 23% of Iran’s imports”. Airtight global banking sanctions imposed on Iran would presumably make the financial administration of this trade next to impossible.
Will China bend to US sanctions wishes? Early signs suggest the answer is yes.
In December 2007, ArabianBusiness.com reported that Chinese banks were starting to decline to open letters of credit for Iranian traders. Asadollah Asgaroladi, head of the Iran-China chamber of commerce, was quoted as saying that China’s banks did not explain the refusal but “if this trend continues it will harm the two countries’ economic cooperation and trade exchange”. In February, ArabianBusiness.com found that China’s cutback in its banking business with Iran was affecting a joint automobile production arrangement.
Such disruptions in the Chinese-Iranian banking relationship are minor. Meanwhile, Beijing keeps insisting that peaceful diplomacy with Iran is the best policy and that the only sanctions needed are those mandated under the three UN Security Council resolutions already on the books. Thus, to make China cooperate with Washington’s unilateral banking sanctions, the US and the EU, reports the Financial Times, are apparently using a tag-team strategy.
On February 12, the FT told readers that “the US believes that tighter EU sanctions will put pressure on other nations that do more business with Iran – China for example – to curb their activities”. Therefore, explained an anonymous diplomat apparently from the US, “We will be pushing the EU to go further than the Security Council,” a move intended, the diplomat said, to “gold plate” Security Council requirements.
To explain this move, the FT provided an example of “gold plating” from 2007, when the EU implemented UN Security Council resolutions 1737 and 1747 on Iran:
In similar language to the current text on Banks Saderat and Melli, the UN had called for “vigilance and restraint” concerning the movements of individuals linked to Iran’s nuclear and missile programs and members of its Revolutionary Guards. But in implementing the resolutions, the EU subjected all the named individuals to a travel ban – a much tougher measure.
Reading between the lines, the intention behind “gold plating” Security Council resolutions is to put pressure on China to bow to a more aggressive US-EU sanctions program.
In the case of the most recent Security Council resolution on Iran, 1803, which put sanctions on two Iranian banks, FinCEN rolled two “gold plating” actions into one. It combined the Security Council’s naming of the two banks with the October and February FATF statements to justify its March 20 warning to the world that Iran’s entire banking system is a danger. Whether the EU will follow FinCEN’s action, and how China will respond to any of this, remains to be seen.
In short, the US has in effect declared war on Iran. No bombs need fall as long as the US strategy relies solely on financial sanctions. But if US Section 311 designates Iran’s central bank as a financial criminal, the impact will be the financial equivalent to the first bombs falling on Baghdad at the start of the US-British invasion of Iraq in March 2003.
In a 1996 publication written for the National Defense University, Harlan Ullman and James Wade introduced a military doctrine for “affecting the adversary’s will to resist through imposing a regime of shock and awe to achieve strategic aims and military objectives”.
Former US defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld made shock and awe famous by invoking it as the US strategy in the attack on Iraq in March 2003 (though weeks later Ullman was claiming Rumsfeld was misapplying the doctrine).
But shock and awe’s authors (apparently with something like Vietnam or the 1993-1994 Somalia fiasco in mind) also envisioned that “[i]n certain circumstances, the costs of having to resort to lethal force may be too politically expensive in terms of local support as well as support in the US and internationally”. Consequently, they wrote:
Economic sanctions are likely to continue to be a preferable political alternative or a necessary political prelude to an offensive military step … In a world in which nonlethal sanctions are a political imperative, we will continue to need the ability to shut down all commerce into and out of any country from shipping, air, rail and roads. We ought to be able to do this in a much more thorough, decisive, and shocking way than we have in the past … Weapons that shock and awe, stun and paralyze, but do not kill in significant numbers may be the only ones that are politically acceptable in the future.
It was only a matter of finding a sanctions strategy systematic enough to make this more obscure portion of the shock and awe doctrine operational. What Ullman and Wade could not have imagined was that Washington’s global planners would use extraterritorial legal powers and its financial clout to coerce the global banking industry into accepting US foreign policy diktat.
North Korea was a test-run for the new strategy of shock and awe financial sanctions. As Washington Post columnist David Ignatius put it in February 2007, “[t]he new sanctions are toxic because they effectively limit a country’s access to the global ATM. In that sense, they impose – at last – a real price on countries such as North Korea and Iran.”
What then will the impact be of this US-Iran banking standoff? For the US, almost no impact at all. Treasury bureaucrats will spend some time and a little taxpayer money making phone calls, checking computer screens and paper trails to monitor global banking compliance with sanctions. The cost of financially ostracizing Iran will be a bargain for US taxpayers compared with the eventual $3 trillion cost of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars estimated by Nobel prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz and Harvard financial expert Linda Bilmes.
Iran, however, will become another Gaza or Iraq under the economic sanctions of the 1990s, with devastating impact on economy and society. That Iran’s complete financial and economic destruction is the goal of US policy was spelled out by the State Department the day before the FinCEN announcement.
During a daily press meeting with reporters on March 19, the State Department’s spokesperson was asked about a deal recently signed between Switzerland and Iran to supply Iranian natural gas to Europe. After condemning the deal, the spokesperson explained that the US is opposed to any “investing in Iran, not only in its petroleum or natural gas area but in any sector of its economy” and questioned rhetorically the wisdom of doing business with Iranian “financial institutions that are under UN sanctions or could become under sanctions if it’s found that they are assisting or aiding or abetting Iran’s nuclear program in any way”. A clearer expression of US desires is hardly possible.

In the UK, BAE systems gives out awards to primary school children for designing calendar posters. The PR head of BAE then smiles gleefully for his photo opportunity (the idea was probably his iniciative – big bonus for him this year). Somewhere along the line the Heads of those schools, and the politicians who allowed this flagrant positioning of corporate entities in our schools, have neglected to properly inform themselves on who BAE systems are, and what wares they peddle. Either that, or they know fully well what they are doing and couldn’t care less. I’m writing this because I thought some of you might be interested in knowing that mind control is becoming much more overt nowadays.

Where can I find this article but revised for people with a short span of attention? Besides, if I were to read and fully understand all these lengthy articles my life would consist of nothing but laboring and perusing. Sometimes I find it hard to balance all the information in my head; what to believe, what to confirm, what to discard, what to shrug your shoulders at. I wonder what our aim is. To overthrow the governments? Who would we replace them with? In the Old Testament of the Bible we are told that if we turn our faces away from God, he will turn his face from us as well. I think that is what has happened in society. Myself, I live in a country where next to everyone believes we evolved from apes (and all the way back to the amoeba, I guess). When you show them evidence of the contrary they close their ears. Or they get defensive. Angry. People don’t want the truth, for whatever reason. Ignorance puts a smile on their faces, they see no need for pondering why we are here. I get worry lines in my forehead because of all this NWO info. I’m the anxious one. Not they. Why make them anxious too. They’re happy consumers. Without a saviour though.

The grammar wonks always fail to realize that English is a rag tag conglomeration of several languages put together by a council formed by Francis Bacon. It’s grammar is therefore quite unnatural and should be allowed to drift into a more natural state through the natural forces of linguistic evolution. Grammar should be treated not as unchangeable law but as a loose style guide in order to facilitate such a transition. This will eventually allow the English language to become much more useful than the insane and anti-intuitive garbage studied by students of English. It is natural for people who have spent serious time studying formal English to rail against it’s misuse but the fact is that the rules of English grammar are not sacrosanct. You wasted years on learning a false paradigm about a dead language – sorry but it is true.
That being said the gross errors in this particular article are pretty bad. I don’t think it is necessary for Alex to hire a professional editor but it would be nice if the author of an article would read their own writing at least once through in order to do a bit of self editing. I’m certainly guilty of bad grammar, spelling and punctuation on occasion, especially when writing long comments on the internet. I’ve been employed as a technical writer many times at various electronics companies I have worked for and with a little self editing I’m able to cut errors to a minimum. If you are being a grammar Nazi about someone’s internet post or dismissing the truth of an article because of poor spelling or grammar then you are truly an educated idiot, if however, you are pointing out that an article such as this could benefit from a bit of editing (self edited or otherwise) you certainly have a point. It’s rather amusing that those who complain about grammar in an article usually have nothing to say about the actual content offering no intelligent insights beyond “the author is a moron because he made a spelling error.
This was a great article that should be read by every person that is seriously concerned about the future of our country, even with the mistakes left intact. If your so focused on form over substance you need to get yourself a clue and stop letting schooling interfere with your education. This article was well done, and yes there where some mestakes made with spelling and layout, but well done none the least. People need to Kill there TVs and start reading, get informed! Alex does a fine job with the article. TV really has degraded into garbage. I have been all over the world and have been lucky to watch different TV programming and news. The stuff we get is for sure canned and served up to a zombie police state. Believe it or not, even my kids have commented, “how can we have so many channels and it’s still all junk.” I believe this is good news. The system is failing. It is reaching the saturation point. When there is so much junk people will start to move away from the tube. As that happens the profits will shrink as the corporate establishment wonders what is happening and tries desperately to find a new hook to keep the masses entertained and keep them from looking around them. My God they might start to demand answers to questions.
The same is happening to the drug companies… making up new syndromes and illnesses and trying to control natural products and vitamins. The financial problem is fundamentally the same. How can they continue to grow once they own everything? The corporate growth can not continue at a high rate forever. Yes, I understand technological advances etc. But I believe we are at a critical point.
This is what they the power elite have worked for. Ownership of mostly everything, control of most of the people by either fear or submission. But what if, what if you were in that elite group of 300 or less. You now have everything? What would you do as the fundamental systems that achieved that were failing? You would construct a new world order. You would have no choice. And what would the NWO look like? Power corrupts and ultimate power corrupts ultimately. We live in very scary times.

The reason they quit using it is because it did not back up the doctrines of the J “F” W’s. The King James Version is by far the most accurately written Bible there is in print. The Scriptures were written in such a way that each verse, each chapter, and each book verified themselves in continuity throughout both the Old and New Testaments.
The 71+ other translations are a waste of time. That is why so many other so-called Christian sects choose these other translations, in order to interpret the Scriptures to fit their own twisted agendas. With the KJV, the Scriptures verify themselves.

They believe that a person has to be a Jehovah Witness in good standing with the kingdom hall. If you do something they dissagree with like visiting a different kind of a church they will kick you out, which means you will not get eternal life, according to them. I have met two men that was married. Their wives became JW’s but after a year their husbands did not want to become a JW. The wives were told to divorse their husbands and marry a JW or they would be kicked out. So, they did what they were told because they did not want to loose eternal life. They are a false religion because they do not believe that Jesus Christ is God. They changed John 1:1 to “a god” without any manuscript evidence. They changed it because they did not believe it. They don’t believe in Hell also. Nobody wants to believe in Hell if they are going there.

This my sound weird to you guys but ever since I was little I wanted to be apart of the best people, the prettest and most important. I’ve always wanted power, really bad. When I was young I used to act like a sweet little friend to all the teachers and people in my clique that was more powerful then me. But then I would do horible things to people who were below me just to keep them in line. I would also do whatever I could do to go higher on the social ladder. For I while I had made it. I was the best and the prettyest. Everyone respected me. I was amazing. Until last year when I relized I wasn’t happy. I missed out on alot of things. I missed out on alot of friends and more importantly I feel I killed myself. On the inside at least. Everything had to be perfect on me. I had to be strong and cold to those who weren’t important to me and warm and kind to those who I needed. Looking back I don’t see how they didn’t know that I really couldn’t give a flying f--- about what they felt. I also preached to my group about not conforming to how the world wants you to act. But then they would be treated unkindly if they said,or did anything I didn’t like. I painted a pretty face on everyday. I made sure my clothes wasn’t like anyone elses but still looked amazing on me. I made sure I was skinny. I would go for days without eating if I weighed more then 115 pounds. My room and everything was perfect. I had plans. I was going to go to the top in life too. No matter how many toes I stepped on getting there or who I hurt. For me being powerful was what would make me happy. I felt no one ever really listened to me anyway. I also felt that people couldn’t love me either. I always felt wrong I guess. But anyway last year I had to move away from the place I grew up in my whole entire life. I moved a whole state away. The first night in my new house something snapped in me. I really wasn’t happy with myself. I realized how horrible I had been to people. I looked at my self and I didn’t know who I was. I had been playing this part and saying lines I didn’t even know I was saying. I told myself I wasn’t going to do that. Know I stop myself from being mean to people, I wear only what I think looks nice on me. I speak my mind. I don’t play games. The worst part for me is the whole eating part. I am 130 pounds and I can’t help but think I’m the world biggest fat ass. I feel whenever I do something wrong people will hate me. I know I’m going to die unnoticed,not respected. I’ll be a nobody for the rest of my life. But maybe people will love me een if they don’t care what I have to say. God made me a loser. I guess I have no choice but to accept it. I found out just recently that I have been completely replaced by my old group. They don’t even say my name. And I don’t care. I don’t really know what this has to do the articule but it felt right to say. I think maybe that’s what this elite people might feel or think or do. But with out the getting smart part. but just what they do to eachother

The key to sidestepping subconsious manipulation is awareness and if you don’t beleive me read a book or watch an instructional video on something you do very well (and unconsiously) like playing a guitar or juggling or whatever and notice first how you do all the things it suggests automatically already and that its not so easy now that you realize that. also in leviticus 19:27 im pretty sure it stated to ” not sharpen the ends of thyn hair” or something like that. the bible has alot of contradiction in it. it is not meant to be taken literaly word for word, that is where the seeds of fundamentalism and extremeism are planted.

#242, Lev. 19:27 does not say anything about “sharpen hair” so I don’t know what you are talking about. I do know the Bible has no contradictions, nor errors. Also, God made laws for a reason, and they should be obeyed, if you call that extreameism so be it. Are people extream if they obey the speed limit? No! and that is man’s law, God law is much more important.

Universal Laws exploited for money, religious dogmas both believed with conviction to the point of killing and oppression, and yet proven false, science is enlightening and dis-empowering us with its limited beliefs about what has “been proven” thus far.
Some people choose power by Force, and those who do not know or are in the victim mentality are easy targets.
And the realization that our own kind are not only ignorant, but seek to dominate us… as sheep…
Awake or asleep… always searching for ways manipulate us to there liking.
Are we are all whore, seeking false fulfillment from money or power?
Makes you question your own intentions…
And yet we are Divine, perhaps that is the hardest for us to understand.

This article is so true! I have always questioned authority much to the dismay of people in my life, so it is gratifying to read this kind of information. Thank you Universe for the internet, oh yes. Something that really helps to ’sort out’ disinfomation is using energy therapy. Once I began doing that the sorting became so much easier and ‘things’ became very clear. It makes the truth or untruth easy to distinquish, cut through the b.s. and enables one to make decisions that make sense. Yes, I have been at issue with family members, some friends, and others. However, when a truth is really known it doesn’t matter what people who are so dumbed down from the pounding of ‘Pravda West’, also known as MSM, think of what I say. There are many of us out here who are very aware and many more who are becoming more aware each and every day and that gives me such hope for the very future of humanity.

I find this article to be a bit dashing. Some reputable sources would be absolutely wonderful, and I could do without the cliche’d conspiracy-theorist sounding sentences interjected throughout. I’m eighteen, I’ve watched TV (I don’t anymore, it gets boring after awhile), and I’m certainly not agreeing with everything said. I find it interesting that the author keeps painting the government as a big bad wolf (not defining which government), not even trying to breach the massive complexity that is the US government.
The government is a metaphorical building. Consider it a castle of some sort. I have to ask the author this: Are you afraid of the building itself, or the people in it? Or do you not consider that people are in the government, and there are those of us aspiring to run for a government position (like myself). This isn’t journalism at all – I agree that the media, because it’s a business, is going to spin for the party that most supports getting it profit. I disagree, however, that the entrie government is this big evil beast – anarchy isn’t any better, and what else are you suggesting as an instrument to maintain society’s order?
Humans are savage beasts – we can kill and torture grotesquely with no regret or any thought of eachother. Without society, humanity is capable of the most brutal of crimes. I’d like the author to suggest an alternative to this government that apparently is fighting a war for my mind.

Great article! If everyone watches the same box for their information, the truth is lost.
The Constitution provides the way for a group of diverse individuals to express their diversity without fear of tryanny. The movement for truth, needs to push us back to the Constitution and Bill of Rights. It is time the people ran our country, not the corporations who hold the government in their back pockets.
