Maximum Alert: U.S. Troops Now Occupying America

Under the pretext of “helping” local communities short of police in difficult economic times, as well as preparations for a potential swine flu pandemic, U.S. troops are now occupying America as the country sinks into a state of de facto martial law.
We have been inundated with reports over the last few weeks of uniformed soldiers and National Guardsmen running internal checkpoints all over the country as a frightening “Red Dawn” scenario unfolds not with a bang but with a whimper.
The military are now being called upon to undertake roles normally designated to police as Americans are incrementally acclimated to accept the presence of troops on the streets as an everyday occurrence.
The latest case occurred in Kingman Arizona, where National Guardsmen were filmed “providing security” and directing traffic.
Another similar example occurred in Newport Kentucky earlier this month when military checkpoints suddenly appeared downtown on September 6. Military Police from the U.S. Army National as well as Marines were purportedly conducting “traffic control” because the city was strapped for funds and did not have enough police to do the job.
The excuse that troops are stepping in to help because there is a lack of police doesn’t wash. Crime is down over the last 20 years, there are around three times more police and the state is not calling out the National Guard, they are being put on the streets as a result of the harmonization of police and military, a process that has been ongoing for decades, long before the economic recession hit. Troops also have guns and their primary function is to search people and vehicles, not direct traffic.
Members of the WeAreChange Ohio group interviewed some of the troops, who when asked if they would be prepared to “confiscate guns, shoot resisters in the back of the head, or throw people into ovens to incinerate bodies,” refused to categorically deny that they would follow such orders.

However, this was by no means the first time that troops have been used to fulfil roles normally ascribed to police in Kentucky.
During the Kentucky Derby on May 2 this year, Military Police were on patrol to deal with crowd control. An Associated Press photograph shows armed MP’s detaining a man who ran onto the track following the 135th Kentucky Derby horse race at Churchill Downs.
“The military has NO BUSINESS policing the citizens except during extraordinarily exceptional times of national emergency by an executive order. This is very disturbing and completely un-American. Maybe even more disturbing is that no one seems to care how quietly and easily we have accepted the burgeoning police state,” one respondent to the photo stated.
As we reported last year, U.S. troops returning from Iraq are now occupying America, running checkpoints and training to deal with “civil unrest and crowd control” under the auspices of a Northcom program that by 2011 will have no less than 20,000 active duty troops deployed inside America to “help” state and local officials during times of emergency.
Over the course of the last couple of years, we have reported on numerous instances of military involvement with local law enforcement in violation of Posse Comitatus.
In January, soldiers from the Virginia National Guard. Soldiers from the Lynchburg-based 1st Battalion, 116th Brigade Combat Team, were used to conduct personal searches at checkpoints in Washington DC for the inauguration of Barack Obama.
In March, we reported on U.S. Army troops dispatched to patrol the streets of Samson, Alabama, after a murder spree.
On April 6, we reported on a DHS, federal, state, Air Force, and local law enforcement checkpoint in Tennessee. On April 3, Infowars was instrumental in the cancellation of a seatbelt checkpoint that was to be conducted in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security and the 251st Military Police in Bolivar, Tennessee.
Last December, we reported on the Marine Corps Air and Ground Combat Center dispatching troops to work with police on checkpoints in in San Bernardino County, California.
On April 22, we reported the deployment of 400 National Guard Combat Support Battalion troops to “maintain public order” at the Boston Marathon.

Last June, Infowars posted an article by D. H. Williams of the Daily Newscaster reporting the deployment of 2,300 Marines in the city of Indianapolis under the direction of FBI and the Department of Homeland Security.
We also reported a story on April 22 covering the assault of a local television news team by an irate police officer in El Paso, Texas. A video taken by the news videographer shows uniformed soldiers working with police officers at the scene of a car accident.
The presence of uniformed and armed military police at the Kentucky Derby and those seen recently at the Riverfest celebration is part of an ongoing campaign to acclimate the populace to the presence of soldiers at public events.
This has now rapidly accelerated with reports pouring in from our readers of military checkpoints being set up all over the country in preparation for the swine flu pandemic.
Last week we reported on the testimony of a military whistleblower who warned that law enforcement and military personnel are training to set up checkpoints in order to catch people who refuse to take the swine flu vaccination.
In a You Tube video, a woman describing herself as a soldier explains how she was part of a drill in California centered around setting up roadblocks and checkpoints so authorities could check who has received the swine flu vaccine. Those who have had the shots will be fitted with an RFID bracelet so they can be tracked. Those who have not taken the shot will be offered it there and then and if they still refuse, will be carted off to an internment camp, according to the woman.
As CNN reported back in July, the military will assist civilian authorities in the event of a significant swine flu outbreak in the U.S. this fall, stoking fears that the pandemic, which has claimed relatively few lives so far, will be used as an excuse to implement martial law and a mandatory vaccination program.
“The plan calls for military task forces to work in conjunction with the Federal Emergency Management Agency. There is no final decision on how the military effort would be manned, but one source said it would likely include personnel from all branches of the military,” states the report.
Northcom has been preparing for mass flu pandemics for years and indeed, Gen. Victor Renuart spoke of the threat of a flu pandemic emerging out of Mexico just weeks before it actually happened.
Testifying back in March, Renuart said Northcom would provide “assistance in support of civil authorities” during an epidemic, adding “when requested and approved by the Secretary of Defense or directed by the President, federal military forces will contribute to federal support.” However, Renuart then added, “USNorthCom does not wait for that call to action.”
Northcom was only relatively recently assigned its own fighting unit – the Army’s 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team, which had been fighting in Iraq for five years before that. As we have previously reported, the Armed Forces Press Service has initiated a propaganda campaign designed to convince the American people that deploying the 3rd Infantry Division in the United States in violation of the Posse Comitatus Act is a good thing, with images of soldiers from the brigade helping in “humanitarian” rescue missions, such as car wrecks. This is all designed to condition Americans to accept troops on the streets and highways as a part of everyday life.
The assignment of the 1st Brigade Combat Team to Northcom alarmed the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). “This is a radical departure from separation of civilian law enforcement and military authority and could, quite possibly, represent a violation of law,” said Mike German, ACLU national security policy counsel.
The last time the the national guard and military worked with FEMA and local law enforcement on a large scale in the United States was during Hurricane Katrina, when they aided in the confiscation of privately owned firearms of citizens, even those who lived in the high and dry areas and were unaffected by the hurricane.
Another exercise that is training the U.S. military to take over law enforcement duties during a swine flu outbreak was revealed on Monday. According to Navy.mil, the Panamax 2009 drill, which is taking place in both Panama and San Antonio Texas, is designed to train soldiers to “stop people from going to work and school,” during a pandemic.
Collating all the evidence of how the military has been seamlessly ingrained into the daily lives of Americans by way of uniformed troops undertaking law enforcement duties, there can be no doubt that the U.S. is already under a condition of undeclared martial law. If a deadlier swine flu pandemic returns this fall, as authorities have vehemently promised will happen, military checkpoints that are now dotted around the country will rapidly multiply and America will fully begin to resemble conditions witnessed in the historical dictatorships of Maoist China, the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany.
Only by becoming aware of how far America has sunk into a militarized police state can we begin to reverse the incremental conditioning that has led Americans to accept the sight of troops on the streets demanding their papers.

It would be an ugly thing if it ever comes to that. One thing though, and I’d bet somebody in the military has surely thought of this. Our military has not been able to pacify Iraq, which is about the size of California. What chance would they have against a country filled with well armed, trained and motiviated (pissed off) American insurgents? I’d bet they have thought about that and aren’t willing to risk that scenario.

Reb, I agree with you 100%. Most civilians don’t know what it is like in war because most like me have not been there and done that, but I understand more than most. As for the body parts flying around, no I have not seen that and really don’t want to but O have been shot at many times and can say it takes a very speacial person to willingly go into harms way. These people who advocate violence first have seen too many movies and think combat is sexy. It is not it is ugly, disgusting, people dying, being blown to pieces, intestines falling out, brains splattered on the ground, people crying for momma and dying in some of the most horrific ways man can concieve. But there comes a time when it is nessicery in order to have a free society and I for will be a free man as long as I live. I looked it up and as long as the National Guard is being used by the Governor, not the Feds, it’s technically legal to help the State. But, I still believe this is conditioning for the real troops to come in. Next it will be the Reservists or maybe even NAVY MP’s, who knows the extent of their high jinx.
All I’m saying, is don’t do anything premature at this point. These troops are legal, thus far. Practice your intel skills. Perform recon and map their positions, strength, numbers, batteries, how many radios you see, Officer’s ranks, etc… Nothing wrong with that, as long as you don’t implement any of your crazy ideas with that info.
If you want to actually do something, practice that skill. If we don’t end up needing that, hell, you just had a little fun. If we do, you’ve just built up your resume that would make George Washington proud.

The FACT that the all National Guard have been federalized means that they are now taking orders from the DOD through a guise that the state governors ordered the deployment within the states. If the state is not funding the troops it has only secondary or limited control over them. The entity that funds the National Guard (the Federal Government) has primary and/or exclusive control over them. 2 + 2 = 4

Yep, US Constitution, section 8, article 15 (+- articles for other military laws). There is a difference between MILITIA (which any1 can be classed as) and the STANDING ARMY (which is the case in this + many other situations)… I think they get round it by being sub-contracted by the POLICE FORCE… Legally skating on thin ice either way..

you should fear the military when its made up of a bunch of order taking zombies. Alot of these “grunts” are high school dropouts who dont have the sense to wipe their ass after taking a dump. They are trained to obey orders and follow them without question. The actual thinkers are obviously the officers and higher up the food chain, if they have an agenda that involves shooting citizens then these uneducated ones are going to follow this order. I AM NOT SAYING ALL TROOPS ARE LIKE THIS just unfortunately a large portion of them.
I tend to think, push comes to shove, the majority of the military would not follow on order that involved firing on American citizens, you would see a serious internal struggle, ala pick your favorite despot, for control of the military.

I am “demonizing” Soldiers about as much as I would “demonize” a mosquito for drawing my blood. It’s not the mosquito’s fault that it has a job to do, but nonetheless, if that mosquito point’s it’s offensive toward me, it is also in my nature to defend myself from it’s harm. If that mosquito were to turn on it’s kind, and help to defend me from others, well surely I would not direct my offensive against that mosquito.
Point being, there are good soldiers who love the Constitution above all, and there are Bad soldiers who love to kill and love asserting any authority they were given, most likely in compensation for their lack of ‘girth’ down below. I’ve met such soldiers. One that showed me the stretched out skin off the face of an Iraqi set on the pavement for a photo op… These people exist, sadly. If a soldier strikes my neighbors, he is fair game. If a soldier defends my neighbors, he can gladly seek refuge within my home. If you truly know soldiers, let them know that if they stand against tyranny, they are not alone, for there are many of us within the Citizenship of this Country who would and will stand beside them if the time were to come. Stand against us and our Constitution? You seal your fate. We may not necessarily win, but he who stands against us will be fair game.

I agree with you. I also have been a soldier for our country and for France. I was a Ranger and foreign Legionaire.
In all armys there are two types of soldiers. There are the ones that actually have morals and care about the oath they took , and then there are young dropouts who just want to kill people. Ive seen the two types both in the Ranger Batt and the legion. The ones that are fair game are the order taking zombies that have watched to much tv and thing that theyre now playin xbox with live human targets. Those types should be dealt with and shown no mercy, because they sure wont give you any.
The other type is …well the defenders of our country, of any country, defenders of the weak , and defenders of those who cant defend themselves. Those are the soldiers I know that are still out there and I believe that my Ranger buds and some legionaires are on our side, and will never fold , or follow any unlawfull order.

Then why the hell haven’t they had a coups to stop this tyranny? If they are so good and honorable, then why haven’t the commanders put together some good honest troops and taken care of the situation in Washington, D.C., New York City (Banking capital of the global economy), and the state capitols? Why is it that in other countries there are coups, but not one single one in the whole 222 year history of the U.S. (going by the year 1787 Constitutional Convention)? The simple answer to that question is that the U.S. troops are even MORE brainwashed than the Red Army of Russia and China were! There was literally more internal resistance in the Red Army than there has ever been within the U.S. military. The U.S. Civil War (1861-1865), though not a coups was the ONLY time that I know of that a portion of the federal officers and troops took up arms against the federal government when they resigned their commisions and left the federal ranks and joined the ranks of the Confederate Forces. As a vet from a military family with a long history of military service the U.S. philosophy of blind allegiance to the civilian authorities in Washington has always disturbed me. That is how dictators can control and even attack their own people (which has been done throughout history). I would far rather we have NO standing army whatsoever, but rather have a strong National Guard with an air component, and strong Coast Guard. And at the same time make the commanders of the units that will actually be doing the figthting in a war have at least some of the decision making process of whether or not they actually go to war and where and when! If we had a system like this it wouldn’t be nearly as easy for the “civilian authorities” like Dick Cheney and his cronies deliberately falsifying intelligence reports in order tto start a war against an innocent sovereign nation and then give the orders for the brainwashed troops to just go marching off to war no questions asked! So quit thinking your military is so honorable and just! They are WILLING participants in what is going on OR ELSE THEY WOULD HAVE ALREADY CONDUCTED A COUPS DE ETAT TO STOP IT!

Another way to stop this tyranny real quick is to make, the “Commander in Chief” LITERALLY a Commander in Chief, meaning that whenever he gives the orders to the troops, he has to put on his uniform too, and lead them into combat. I guarantee you that would immediately eliminate a lot of these corrupt cowardly “civilian authorities” who send their brainwashed stormtroopers off to plunder and pillage someone else, if they themselves had to be at the head of the army leading them into battle. Scum like Dick Cheney, George Bush, Barry Boy, etc. would be the first ones to run and hide in such a situation, and then you could tell real quick the difference between a REAL LEADER and a FILTHY RAT!

Some are but keep in mind that in any group you have some that will blindly follow orders for various reasons only one of which is indocrination. Why do you think the military goes after eighteen (18) yearolds so hard? Yes at a younger age it is easier to handle the training and perform some of the jobs but it is also easier to influence there thinking aand to train them to do what you tell them without question. No “sain” person will willingly go rushing into a machinegun nest and sacrafice themselves to gain an objective but hey little johnny who trained as an 11B will when his team leader says ok johnny this is what you trained for now go kill those dirty bastards and don’t think that will not be used on us as well. The military trains people to follow orders no matter what because in battle discipline is what brings people back and wins wars. this is called “rote” training and is how a soldier survives in combat. He/she is trained not to think about what he/she is doing while doing it because to think causes hesitation and that will get you killed. Do your job and think about it later when you are “safe” and have the time.

Great observation and super obvious. This is what makes this situation so maddening. Like you pointed out, there is a real threat with HIV. This can be measured in statistics right down to minorities that are being affected the most. We know so much about HIV that we can predict which people in our population are most likely to contract it, at what age, the duration of manifestation, and even map out an accurate expected date of death. In some communities, it’s considered an epidemic. Yet, with all we know about AIDS, the government decides to make a mild flu that has thus far been less deadly than the seasonal flu a matter requiring national security.
This doesn’t pass the smell test! It hasn’t since early April and to date I’m not convinced that this flu is a real threat. As the date draws closer to the fall, the smell of revolution is thickening and lingering in the air. It’s so obvious that this “swine flu” is taking the form of a Trojan Horse to bring about something much, much, more sinister.

Proper grammar and good communication skills are very important. I used to have much better grammar and the highest grades in my spelling classes 30 years ago, but thanks to the modern system we have rammed down our throats 24/7, my grammar and spelling skills are not what they used to be. This was all part of the dumbing down process (Flouride in water, public “education”, constant t.v. stupidity and internet 24/7, etc., etc., etc.). So just because someone doesn’t have your level of grammar and spelling does not necessarily mean their message is not one that should be listened to. They may be even more of a victim of the NWO’s effects than you have been up to this point, so have some mercy and compassion on your fellow man, and instead turn your anger and rage upon the stormtroopers of the NWO! I agree about that video being phony. Look, think about this logically. The troops at the checkpoint ask you if you’ve been vaccinated and you say ‘Yes’….even though you haven’t. Then what? How do they know otherwise? What about those who have had the H1N1 flu? I and all of my family have had it, and taking the vaccine will make us really sick. How would they confirm that?
The point is that using checkpoints as a means of enforcing vaccination policies just doesn’t work. You have to start farther up the ladder at the hospital, clinic and Drs’. offices level. That’s where the paperwork trail, and any RFID chips, along with anything else is going to be started. There is where you need to be checking for information on what is going on.
And stuffing people into camps? Where you have to feed them and provide troops to keep order? When the economy is in the toilet and now the governemnt is going to further cripple the country by locking huge numbers of citizens up? No, the whole scenario is just wrong. It isn’t going to go down like that girl on the You Tube video is saying it will.

I used to think that my fellow Americans would sooner or later take ACTION to stop this tyranny. It hasn’t happened in the almost 20 years that I have been part of the “Patriot Movement”. When the Weaver family was attacked in Idaho in 1992, people did NOTHING! When the Branch Davidians were brutally murdered in 1993 (even heretics in the old days had their day in court before being executed), people did NOTHING! When the government attacked the World Trade Center and its own Pentagon (the side where conveniently no high level officials would be effected by the attack), and blamed it on some boogey man in a cave on the other side of the world, people did NOTHING! When the governernment started another war against an innocent sovereign nation based on totally falsified “intelligence” reports, the people did NOTHING! When the government set up secret torture chamber to start torturing anyone from any country who dares to say no to the corrupt system, the people did NOTHING! We may begin by looking at simply the mentality of the rulers of the Roman Empire, beginning at the end of the 2nd century [A.D.] and looking through to the end of the 3rd century. This period of the 3rd century Roman historians refer to as the Crisis of the Third Century. And the reason is that the problems of the Roman society in that period were so profound, so enormous, that Roman society emerged from the 3rd century very, very different in almost all ways from what it had been in the first and second centuries, a period the historians speak of as the Augustan Principate.
To look at the mentality of the Roman emperors, we can look just at the advice that the Emperor Septimius Severus gave to his two sons, Caracalla and Geta. This was supposed to be his final words to his heirs. He said, “live in harmony; enrich the troops; ignore everyone else.” Now, there is a monetary policy to be marveled at!
Caracalla did not adhere to the first part of that; in fact, one of his first acts was to murder his brother. But as for enriching the troops, he took that so seriously to heart that his mother remonstrated with him and urged him to be more moderate and to restrain his increasing military expenditures and his very burdensome new taxes. He responded by saying there was no longer any revenue, just or unjust, to be found. But not to worry, “for as long as we have this,” he insisted, pointing to his sword, “we shall not run short of money.”
His sense of priorities was made more explicit when he remarked, “nobody should have any money but I, so that I may bestow it upon the soldiers.” And he was as good as his word: he raised the pay of the soldiers fifty percent, and to achieve this he doubled the inheritance taxes paid by Roman citizens. When this was not sufficient to meet his needs, he admitted almost every inhabitant of the empire to Roman citizenship. What had formerly been a privilege now became simply a means of expanding the tax base.
He then went further by proceeding to debase the coinage. The basic coinage of the Roman Empire to this time — we’re speaking now about 211 [A.D.] — was the silver denarius introduced by Augustus at the end of the 1st century before Christ. Augustus had issued a silver coin, a denarius, that was about 95% silver, and that coin continued for the better part of two centuries as the basic medium of exchange in the empire.
By the time of Trajan in 117, it was only about eighty-five percent silver, down from Augustus’ ninety-five percent. By the age of Marcus Aurelius, in 180, it was down to about seventy-five percent silver. In Septimius’ time it had dropped to sixty percent, and Caracalla evened it off at fifty-fifty. Caracalla was assassinated in 217 and there then followed an age that historians refer to as the Age of the Barrack Emperors, because throughout the 3rd century all the emperors were soldiers and all of them came to their power by military coups of one sort or another. There were about 26 legitimate emperors in this century and only one of them died a natural death; the rest were either assassinated or died in battle, which will give you some idea of the change since this was totally unprecedented in Roman history — with two exceptions: Nero, a suicide, and Caligula, assassinated earlier.
Caracalla had also debased the gold coinage. Under Augustus this circulated at 45 coins to a pound of gold. Caracalla made it 50 to a pound of gold. Within 20 years after him it was circulating at 72 to the pound of gold, reduced to 60 at the end of the century by Diocletian, only to be raised again to 72 by Constantine. So even the gold coinage was in fact inflated, debased.
But the real crisis came after Caracalla, between 258 and 275. In a period of intense civil war and foreign invasions, the emperors simply abandoned, for all practical purposes, a silver coinage. By 268 there was only five tenths percent silver in the denarius. And prices in this period rose in most parts of the empire by nearly a thousand percent. The only people who were getting paid in gold were the barbarian troops hired by the emperors. The barbarians were so barbarous that they would only accept gold in payment for their services.
The situation did not change until the accession of Diocletian in the year 284. Shortly after his accession he raised the weight of the gold coinage, the aureus, to 60 to the pound – this was from a low of 72. But ten years later, he finally abandoned the silvered coinage, which by this time was simply a bronze coin dipped in silver rather quickly. He abandoned that completely and tried to issue a new silver coin which was struck at 96 coins to the pound of silver, called the argenteus. This argenteus was fixed as equal to fifty of the old denarii, the old coinage. It was designed to respond to the need for higher-tariffed coins in the marketplace, to reflect the inflation. He also issued a new bronze coin tariffed at ten denarii, called the nummus. But less than a decade later, that silver coin had gone from being tariffed at 50 of the old to now equaling 100 of the old, and the bronze coinage from 10 denarii to 20; in other words, a hundred percent inflation. In other words, despite his efforts Diocletian had not been able to stop the inflation.
The next emperor who interfered with the coinage in a meaningful way was to be Constantine, the first Christian emperor of Rome. Constantine in the year 312, which is also the year he issued the Edict of Toleration for Christianity, issued a new gold piece which he called by a new name, the solidus — solid gold. This was struck at 72 to the pound, so it was in fact debased over Diocletian’s. These were very large issues and historians have puzzled over where he got all the gold; but I think the puzzle is not so much of a real puzzle once you begin to look at the legislation that took place.
First of all, he issued two new taxes: one was taxed on the estates of the senators, and this was rather new because senators generally were free of most taxes on their land. He also issued a tax on the capital of merchants; not their earnings, but their capital. This was to be levied every five years and it was to be paid in gold. He also required that the rents from the imperial estates, which were rented out to tenants, were to be paid only in gold. He took on the bullion reserves of his former partner Licinius who had extracted, by force, bullion from the treasuries of the cities of the Eastern Empire. In other words, any city that had any gold bullion or silver bullion left in its treasury, this was simply requisitioned by Licinius and this passed on now into the hands of Constantine who had gotten rid of Licinius in a civil war.
We’re also told that he stripped the pagan temples of their treasuries. This he did rather late in his reign, still somewhat afraid apparently in the early days of angering the gods of Rome. As his Christianity became more fixed, he felt greater ease at robbing the temples. Now, Constantine’s reform in one sense began the reversal of the process: the gold coinage was sufficiently large that it began to take hold and to circulate more freely. The silver coinage failed and, what was worse, at no time in this period did the central government try to control the token coinage. And the result of that was [that] token coinage was being minted not only by the imperial mints, but also by the mints of cities. I check the armory in town a few times a week. They always have a few transport trucks, and 7 or 8 equipment trailers, woodland and desert camo. Last week I was surprised to see….not tanks, or Bradley’s or even more troop trucks, but a bus. A sky blue colored bus. like a school bus, but blue. hmmm? mobile vaccination bus maybe? The color is less offensive than camo.

A survivalist prepares to take care of him or herself their family and friends in event of the breakdown of civil society. Hey “lubbock”, I’m hear in the DFW area. I do remember someone mentioning last week commenting on the LRAD article that perhaps we should get some “deaf snipers” to work on them. Now, that was a joke, but actually this might work. If we had hearing-impaired snipers, or, more realistically, snipers equipped with sound cancelling headphones (e.g., Bose, etc.) then this might work. Also, they would be a good tactic against the microwave guns that you mentioned. Snipers have been a major force on the battlefield for over two hundred years, and especially in urban warfare they are a critical asset. We need the military/police trained snipers to be on our side and bring their M40s and Barrett M82s and anything “new” that they might have. Otherwise, there are plenty ex-military and patriotic “good ‘ole boys” that grew up hunting and shooting that might be able to ge the job done with their hunting rifles. Along the same line of thought, we ALL need to learn the names and faces of their “chain of command” in case we need to implement this in the near future.

I attended 2 events in Ct over last week. 1 on Thursday in Naugatuck. A very small little fair with not more than 20 booths and there were two humvees and several Army personnel in uniform wandering around or bunched by the Hummers. at a large car show on Saturday in Middlebury, there were again numerous military people in uniform directing the crowds.
I asked the Capt, what his most important duty was and he did not have a clue even when I told him it was to defend The Constitution and the People, not corrupt government.
Get it together folks. This government and Congress has become an outlaw, in my opinion and it needs to be addressed with calls to your Congressman or Senator demanding that they look into this.

actually, its not illegal to own the clothing and alot of accessories, just cant wear the company&bn patches. there are several army surplus stores that sell 2nd hand mil clothing and gear. also, if you’re close to an army base, they have a pdo (dont know what that stands for) thats the NUTS! they sell everything. mri’s (yuck) clothing,tents, and every type of survival gear you could imagine, for pennies. last yr i bought 1k desert sand fatigues, still in their bags, set up a small booth at the local flea market, and sold the PISS out of them to deer hunters. sold out in 2 days and made 4200 profit, so i took my spouse to jamaica for a week (anniversary) i love jamaica.

Without a doubt we have some heavy duty, predictive programming going on at the moment.
Between the swine flu, sensationalized terror probes, and the economic crisis, they are definitely ratcheting up the fear factor.
I would suggest the Swine Flu thing has been an excellent cover to justify a state of readiness that encompasses the military, police, and first responders. But, I see it more of a red herring.
Not to say that won’t go down in the future, but I feel they have to get down with something that will be easy to tie to Iran.
I would bet that we’ll see some kind of attack.
That will give the green light for an Iran, attack, and to go semi live with the police state.
I’ve watched these guys since ‘94, and have studied their past movements before that, and they move slow. Like with 911, they’ll use a crisis to take a visible step forward, and appears it’s time to make such a move.

These kids’ body language in Ohio screams of being very insecure as they preform their duties. When the last wildfires in So. Cal were happening there was a small rural town called Ramona which had a bunch of pissed off residents who were forced to evacuate, it was clear there was no reason they couldn’t go back to there homes, made the local news and people were real pissed. Well, a group of about 12 humvees rolled through my town and gassed up on there way to said town. I took the opportunity to give them a staunch warning to not pull some kind of New Orleans, gun confiscation thing, this is beautiful, one gaurdsman piped up, “that’s a good way to get shot in the face”!
I assured him that he was correct and left them with a warning not to f**k with “We The People”.

How long is it going to be till all of you understand that the use of National Guard troops on the streets for any purpose including Law Enforcement is 100% LEGAL if the governor of said state approves. Under Posse Comintatus under it’s exception it allows the Governor of a State to use his National Guard in anyway he wants. Only Navy, Marine, Air Force and Army personal are not allowed to do this unless authorized by congress or the Senate. The President and the Secretary of Defense cannot authorize such usage
So again to be clear if the Governor of lets say NY wanted to use National Guard troops to pull over speeding drivers it’s legal if he wants to use them for check points it’s legal, IF THE GOVERNOR WANTED THEM TO TICKET YOU FOR JAY WALKING IT’S LEGAL…. 100% LEGAL

The National Guard is only Federalized when under orders of the federal government. And since as far as we know that these are being ok’d by the governor they are acting in a state capacity. Look none of us like this but it’s legal. Talk to your congressman and see if they can get the law changed until then you better stop when a national guard troop tells you too

Or are these troops taking their orders from NORTHCOM, Homeland Security, the White House or DOD?
On Sept 7, 2001 Governor Bush of Florida signed executive order 01-262 (post-dated to Sept 11) declaring a state of emergency and mobilizing the National Guard, four days before the 9-11 attacks, before an emergency existed. While curious, that was legal.
I have yet to see any governor, anywhere signing any order, declaring any emergency or authorizing the use of the National Guard.

There are many who argue that the National Guard is the militia spoken of in the Constitution. I disagree. Especially since the National Guard wasn’t officially established for the existing states until 1903 I believe, some 125 years AFTER the Constitution was ratified.
Besides, if the Patriot Act and John Warner Defense Authorization Bills can hijack the National Guard and federalize them to act as armed enforcers of a tyrannical government, I wouldn’t consider them any sort of militia as intended by the founding fathers.

The police have become so bad that many people welcome the better trained, less cowardly (less trigger happy) soldier’s presence. I was in New Orleans after Katrina and everyone agreed what an improvement the military was over the NOPD, just the other day, someone actually said that they were sad to see them go. I think a lot of soldiers are a bit simple, mostly young and often naive but basically better people than the type that become policemen. I have more faith in our soldiers than the police to stand by the people when things come to a head.

First of all i would like to know why this story has such a big red alert on it. There is nothing new that is posted. They got stories from the start of the year all the way up to a story posted 2 days ago put them all together into a new story and Maximum Alert. I do believe that they are going to be on the streets everywhere soon but thats not how it is now. The stories headline just like many others that are on this site are made up just to get you interested in reading it. Remember the “20 minutes with the president”. There might be soldiers on streets in some places but not here where i m and i m sure not where alot of us are.
People need to be a lot more careful about what they say is happening. Keep hyping things up and it starts to make other things sound like bullshit even if they are not.

The issue isn’t really Nat Guard Troops, it is about getting the people used to seeing troops in the street, most people couldn’t tell you if a squad of troops are Nat Guard or Navy Seals. The national guard troops I’ve spoken with fear the people more than they fear higher ups in the military.

Just because it’s “Legal” doesn’t mean it’s a good idea. There are a great many “laws” and actions that are unconstitutional, but people get away with it every day. The line needs to be drawn somewhere. There is absolutely no reason for this other than acclimating the public as well as the troops to the idea.
I can’t get behind this “Maximum Alert” though, it’s just not worthy of that yet in my mind, and I suspect most others. I see this site as a place to research headlines on my own after wards. Alex is a great entertainer, but his take on things shouldn’t be gospel to anyone, even he tells you to think for yourself. But I admit I’m still a fan overall.
The troops here are typical, after putting them on the spot and exposing their ignorance, make an effort to educate them and pull them over to the right side, which they might be ready for when the real time comes anyway, but aren’t willing to throw their careers ways for something so trivial as this. As for the female in the second video, I just don’t buy it, there are more than a few things suspect with her “testimony” to me.
Pick your battles, exposing yourself now would be a waste.

Hey Alex! You just said on the air that guards in Ohio closed off a bridge for no reason and were running a check point. That’s false!!! They closed off two bridges because it was a FIREWORKS SHOW. Do you want to drive on a bridge that has fireworks going off on it? They used national guard because they had no more police to do it and couldn’t afford to bring in any more. They asked the governor to send the national guard to help out the police, and the Governor is allowed to do that in the capacity of the militia and not the federal military. Just wanted to clear that up.

I don’t buy the argument about there not being enough police. In my state there are Reserve Police Officers/Sheriff’s Deputies who are fully trained cops that go through the whole academy but the volunteer there services to the department on a part time basis while going to college full time or having some full time job. They are in non paid slots and help to augment the regular full time officers during special events like this. For special duty like this, they often drive their own vehicles, so it wouldn’t even cost the city or county anything to provide them the transportation to the event. In my state, the department provides these volunteer officers their uniforms and a radio, traffic duty vest, but they buy their own pistol and pistol belt with equipment, so it really doesn’t cost the department much at all to have reserve officers.

I too noticed he spoke of oaths in the plural. However, I do not think this was by mistake. I am pretty sure they do have another oath, not to the constitution but the corrupt institution…
I recently spoke to a British policeman about his oath — and found out they have abolished this. So all the policemen out on the street in England have sworn no oaths to the crown, their country or to protect the people of their country. Furthermore, the police in South West England was bought up by a company belonging to IBM — who incidentally were the company providing all the register card to keep track of the concentration camp prisoners in the WWII.
I see the pieces of the puzzle coming together and I don’t like what I see in my crystal ball! The people of the whole world are looking to America. If you fall we are f..cked. Uphold freedom! We do our share here, but England has turned into a sheeple land, sadly. Still there are some who are aware and working hard to stop the tide of this evil.

When I was issued my badge as a cop 17 years ago (6 months later I resigned because of the crap they were indoctrinating us with back then and now it is far far worse than then), there were several us at the same time who received our badges. Anyway, we were not sworn in at all, and that was 17 years ago!

Hello all! I am in Green Bay Wisconsin, And just this am we had two military aircraft cruise past, one was a large jet od green in color the other was a helicopter od green also. This is highly unusual for this area! I’m thinking the shit may hit the fan real soon! I also saw a you tube video of a store in California accepting silver and gold for goods!

The National Guard has been doing things like traffic control and road blocks for 10 plus years. This is nothing new according to an ex National Guard member I personally talked to and know as a friend. They do have side arms but he claims they are empty. What I am going to be startled about is warantless searches, gun confiscations, and vaccinations of the children in their own homes without parental consent. Once I see that video, then I will worry.

We live in Scotland (UK) & they are building camps on Salisbury Plain where the army have “war games”also in the lake district & the Highlands of Scotland.There is already a build up of foreign troops on our soil & the police are training in containment tactics.

I saw the National Guard at the WEBN Fireworks in Newport, KY searching bags and purses at a check points. It they also had road blocks up and were directing traffic. I also thought i saw a couple prison buses ready to be loaded. They were also patrolling through the crowds on a regular basis. And i still have friends that believe that Martial Law will never happen in the U.S. ….

I am thinking possibly a big move in terms of the dollar is going to happen pretty soon. I’ve heard on other sites a possible 6 to 1 move. I’ve also heard if your going to be traveling overseas and using a credit card there is a 45% surcharge now on. The phrase ” maximum alert” should only be used for something written by a Sheen. Don’t get me wrong, I admire Charlie for speaking out– at actual risk of his well-paid career– it’s the insulting hoax that came with it that deserved “maximum alert” status. Look, I’ll be the first to admit/testify that there are big changes brewing (why you’d have to be ASLEEP not to see that); but this maximum alert stuff is just boy-who-cried -wolf material.
Then, theres the video of the woman doing bad theatrics. No, she did not hear from a friend’s uncle’s dog that some lapd said something about little green men. I dont believe anything she says, including when she’s telling the truth. That little flourish about breaking protocol and her life being in danger just dug her deeper. A tip for her: if you’re going to invoke any religion to drop people’s guards, don’t openly lie. It insults members of that religion. Also, some of us whimpy civilians grew up in hell in big cities and have seen the shit hit the fan up close. So when you try to be scary with facial expressions designed to trigger fight or flight response, it just reminds us of the little guy in the gang trying to gain notice of the alpha male. This is not really surprising– the U.S. has been occupying other people’s lands since it was founded. The Declaration of Independence refers to the original inhabitants of North America– the victims of a mass genocide– as “merciless Indian savages.” The entire history of the U.S. is one of slaughtering and subjugating indigenous peoples in order to steal their land and resources, and to exploit their labor. The genocide continues today in the Middle East and elsewhere, and slavery continues today in the form of sweatshops (economic wage slavery) used by U.S. and multinational corporations. The fact that White people are now being subjected to military occupation is really a case of the chickens coming home to roost– what goes around comes around. It’s time people realized that the U.S. government is an entirely illegitimate, genocidal terrorist organization that must be completely dismantled. Such men as George Washington and Thomas Jefferson owned Black slaves and committed genocide against Native American men, women, and children. Obama is a war criminal. I finally understand. Liberals and Conservatives are pro-tyranny and police state. And when the democrats are in power, the republican gets to play the role of anti-tyranny, and vice-versa. How can anyone deny this simple truth? Keith Olberman and Rachael Maddow are great examples. When the republicans were in power they were outspoken critics of the senseless wars and the rising police state; however, now that the democrats are in power Maddow and Olberman are essentially cheerleaders for the entire tyrannical establishment, even though it’s the same exact system under the republicans.

The reason the young men are “assisting” with traffic control is a recruiting effort. The kid said 10 times that they are there to assist Newport and they have been doing it for 5 years. I think he was sincere. Do you people want to stop Air Force flyovers during the National Anthem at big events? C’mon. Those kids are FROM the local community. They are National Guard. A young boy seeing them might think it’s cool and then join the Guard later. They are strapping just to be cool. Has anyone seen the types of people that go to the Kentucky Derby? I think it’s ok.

This is why those of us that are OathKeepers have been trying to spread the word to hold Active Duty military, Natl. Guard, Police, EMS workers, etc. to Honor their Oath to the Constitution. Another thing. I’m glad to see these kids with cameras have a healthy skepticism and maybe gave those troops something to think about in the process. But pick your battles people. I would recommend these camera guys join the military as officers or run for public office to help shape public policy as it regards to the constitution. Change takes time and you have to THINK your way to intelligent decisions. Not just REACT! It’s good that there is a new and revived focus on our constitution. It’s the only thing we have that keeps us a free nation. Although, I have been to many other 1st world countries that are more free than we are in certain areas. Put your passion into a policy degree or history and become a history teacher. Teach!!

I agree with Jip. However. History teachers cannot teach anymore; they cannot touch this stuff; they dare not discuss negative things about the U.S. They dare not or lose their jobs or, at least, be so overwhelmed with telephone complaints against “attacks on the military,” “pro-liberal stances,” “political bias,” that they give up and just teach sanitized history, which sounds like this, “America is free,” “America is a land of laws not of men.” etc. etc.
If they don’t teach sanitized history like this, parents call up and complain and the teacher’s department head calls them to account or the principal does, etc. etc.
Talk radio show hosts learn about them and shout and scream about their “political bias” and “blatant disregard for the other side of the story.” Don’t blame the teachers. Blame yourselves.

I have kids in the school system and it is rife with politically correct crap like “black history month” which is a mostly about minor players in American history contrived to help black children “feel better about themselves”…This country was conceived by old mostly wealthy white men who put their fortunes on the line for a new government experiment that led to the most powerful country the world has seen and provides the highest standard of living for the most people with the largest middle class ever…yes the American Indian was displaced, such population displacement has been going on since the beginning of time, it is not unique to the US. And neither is slavery. We paid with our own blood from over 500,000 countrymen to right that wrong. And still, some people just won’t let it go….Love your country, it is not perfect, it has warts just like all others do, but on balance it has created more liberty and wealth and clean air and water than any other place on earth to date. And another thing, we are 5% of the worlds population and use 25 % of its resources, but we feed 50% of the world and produce a lion’s share of the cutting edge tech that the whole world benefits from since we share it…And if our leaders continue with this tyranny we as citizens are obligated to abolish the government and start over.

I wonder why I havent seen much of that up here in Alaska, we got 4 HUGE military installations, so I would have thought for sure to see this here, but not yet. I wonder why? As far as the lady soldier YouTube video goes, the device she presents as a GPS tracking device is nothing more than a beacon used by the military to home-in on friendlies, used in conjunction with NVG’s. Basically, it emits an ultra-violet strobe which aids in the identification of friendly forces. This is far from any device that could logically be construed as a tracking mechanism for those who refuse a vaccine. Especially when it runs off of a 9-volt battery. It would be more believable if they threatened to shove it up your a$$. Now, I’m not saying that there isn’t anything to be weary about, just do your homework and research the sources before you jump to conclusions and start spreading disinformation. That would not exactly lend credibility to the cause and only make the rest of us informed citizens look like $hit-brained, tin foil hat wearers. In any case, don’t believe *everything* you read or see. Research it first, conclusions come later. I live about 10 miles above the Mexican border, we also have another border check about 10 miles above us… the day before yesterday, my son drove through the second border check point and encountered the National Guard instead of the normal Border Patrol. He was asked more questions than usual, normal question is just your place of birth , this time it was much more intrusive , where he was going and why . I plan on driving up and through the check point later today to see for myself, I want to know if i is all National guard, if there armed ( my son did not notice if they were armed ) and if ” ICE ” was also there, as they have had ” ICE” personel camped out at our local resort now for almost a month.
