featured stories Media Ignores Ron Paul March For Liberty

Thousands of people marched peacefully in Washington D.C. on Saturday, to honor Texas Congressman Ron Paul’s campaign for liberty, yet the mainstream media uniformly failed to issue a single written report on the event in its aftermath.

The goal of the event was to organize a peaceful, non-violent march on the streets of Washington D.C. followed by a rally outside the Capitol building in support of restoring constitutional government as the founding fathers set forth.

In light of this, the event was a resounding success, as it went off without a hitch and also saw thousands of dollars raised towards the Ron Paul Campaign for Liberty.

In addition to Ron Paul’s keynote speech, audiences were addressed by Pastor Chuck Baldwin, author Naomi Klein, banking expert Edward G. Griffin, former head of the CIA’s Bin Laden unit Michael Scheuer and Iraq Veterans Against The War spokesman Adam Kokesh, amongst others.

It is estimated that around 2500 people attended the rally. Some have expressed disappointment that there were not 15,000 plus at the event, given that number had pledged to attend on the campaign for liberty website.

However, the day was extremely hot and many were seen camping out on the outskirts of the rally area in the shade. Some bloggers have suggested that as many as 8000 people in total attended the event.

These numbers were seemingly not significant enough for the corporate controlled media to pay any attention to the event. A loan blog entry from the Chicago Tribune is about the sum of the written coverage the freedom rally attracted.

Meanwhile, in what was clearly a gross distortion of the truth, CNN ran a short report which stated that Ron Paul addressed only 500 to 800 people.

Here is Ron Paul’s keynote speech from the rally:

    1. Chris Says:

I was there and it was awesome. We need an event like this once a week in every city in the country. There was easily between 5k to 10k people there. All were Patriots.

    2. Mike Says:

Doesn’t matter if there were a million people there, the media would still ignore it.

    3. rjenkins Says:

More people attended the march, then that of the rally afterwards. I had left around 3pm and notice alot of supporters hangong out around the mall, and in the subway stations. I talk to a older man in his 50’s, who said the rally wasn’t for him , as he said; He had heard it all before.

    4. Daniel Says:

At least we can say that, if anything, we made the guy a nice chunk of change. Where do I sign up to be controlled opposition? I want 6 mill in the bank too!

    5. Nathan hale Says:

Lord knows that the capitol hill police took enough photos of everyone at the rally to make Getty images jealous. After an hour of watching the police intimidate people by riding motorcycles through the crowded sidewalks I decided it was time to leave.

    6. The Baron Says:

You know, if every last one of those so-called “freedom lovers” had arrived armed and ready to make mass arrests, I’d believe their rhetoric. As it is, they’re nothing more than a pathetic batch of wanna-bes and never-weres, parroting slogans and catchphrases while hoping their manacles don’t become too heavy to bear. If they can’t follow through on all their speechmaking, then what’s the point of listening to them in the first place-they may be awake but they’re far from active. Keep waving your signs, sheeple-I’m sure they’ll deflect plenty of the bullets headed your way!

    7. William Stearns Says:

I’m in my mid fifty’s….I’m saddened to see the NEWS media is really the Amercian propaganda machine. I was there for the march but I had to get back home when my ride said. I looked for some report of it…….all those little hints the powers that be have given me…..now that I believe an have first hand seen how few people care. Makes me sick. I’m also a former Marine and when I took my oath to protect and defend against ALL foreign and domestic…..I don’t ever remember untaking it!!!! Me too…..take back my government !!!! MY GOVERNMENT !!!!!!!!

    8. jel kig kohgv Says:

      Haha.

      15,000?

Nope. Make it 2500. But it was hot.

      The kooks failed…..AGAIN!!

    9. Jacob Says:

The media ignores it because Ron Paul is not ‘hot s---.’ (Pardon my language). As revolutionary as he may be, people are not interested in it because things are heating up between Barack Obama and John McCain. When it comes down to it, it’s the Democratic and Republican party that will sell more newspapers.

    10. jel kig kohgv Says:

The media ignores you people because you are lunatics.

    11. Especially for Baron Says:

Baron man come to my town brother, and you will see “freedom Fighter”.

    12. Gary Says:

      Hey Jel,

Notice how everyone is ignoring you?

I kinda feel bad for you, what with your desire for attention and all…so, let me give you some.

      f--- you.

Now there, do you feel better?

    13. RJP Says:

I don’t like the statement, “you are either an american or a globalist”. The fact that most of you are all so isolationist is starting to put me off this site. Being an isolationist, uninvolved country is quite frankly extremely selfish in my opinion. Imagine if you were born somewhere else, maybe somewhere in Africa how would you feel if you knew there were many wealthy powerful countries who could help you but would rather indulge themselves and improve their already high living standards while you are drinking dirt water and starving every day. Do you think it was their fault for being born in a different part of the world from you, did they choose to be born into suffering and misery? It works the same way from the other perspective, you did not manage to be born an American through your hard work or effort or intellect but instead you were just plain lucky. I know I probably sound like a communist preacher or something and I know intervention isn’t always an option but to suggest that you must choose between being a selfish uncaring patriot and an “evil globalist” as you all refer to them as is ridiculous. Another thing I have noticed about infowars is the sheer hypocrisy of it. You pretend to be fighting bias and propaganda while using both of those methods to fuel your simultaneous fight against them. I’m not saying every article is written this way but a vast majority of them are and I’m surprised how weak minded some of you can be for not reading between the lines. I still think 9/11 was at least partially an inside job if that makes sense but its just amazing how far people take it with such lack of evidence (I’m talking about the whole “globalist plot”). Also Charlie Brooker really had a point when he wrote “Embrace a conspiracy theory and suddenly you’re part of a gang sharing privileged information; your sense of power and dignity rises a smidgen and this troublesome world makes more sense, for a time. You’ve seen through the matrix! At last you’re alive! You ARE the Emperor of Pluto after all!”

This website has told you to try to be media aware and see through the garbage but they never actually mentioned that garbage can appear anywhere, including right here on “infowars.com” the most trustworthy news website in the world. And really they add to the hypocrisy by telling you to look out for and recognize it when really they are being hypocritical themselves.

    14. yellowhak1 Says:

medias been ignoring this guy from the start but once he bowed out of the presidential race the media was on it. good try jelkig.

    15. roaddog Says:

This country has already picked the next president. Hasn’t anyone noticed? There is no democracy here. The elites pick the one that will do the most harm to the country, thats the way its always been.

    16. Mike Says:

I sure wish there was 15,000+ there saturday. I like many of the articles posted here, but that number makes me wonder how many other articles are off base.

I was at the March/Rally saturday, I drove from Indiana….there “might” of been 2,000 people there. And even that is stretching it.

    17. BraveNewWorld Says:

It looks like the paleo-conservative constitutionalist is an endangered species.

    18. unkknown Says:

TO RJP: Don’t get so worked up over it tho. The fact remains real that bad things are going on behind our backs, and this needs to stop. Isolation is exactly what this country needs right now- just look at how piss poor and unsuccessful we are at natural disasters that strike here at home. We definately dont need to be starting wars or getting involved in other world issues at this time, until we are a solid nation again and can handle our own problems.

    20. Nicole Says:

I agree with Gary and EFB–Bring it.

    21. SouthernnMann Says:

It is high time for Americans to grow up and take responsibility for their freedom. Freedom requires vigilance and who ever said that we could trust Congress or the Senate? So many special interest groups, is it any wonder that they (the criminals in government) are looting us?

The only remedy I see is certainly NOT at the polls. Those are rigged too. The answer is in “we the people”. We need to organize locally in our community and network with others in our state to bring down the criminals who9 are SUPPOSE to be representing us in Washington. Instead they are representing special interest. Special interest like drug runners and human trafficing. Lets look at our representatives voting record and start questioning the legislation that they so easily put a pen too and make law. The measuring stick and litmus test is the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. They swore an oath to it an said “So help me God”. Well, it is time for them to be held accountable for their nefarious deeds. Half of them are probably being blackmailed in one way or another.

The only way I see to wake up the masses of people in America is to do just what Alex Jones was saying: “make copies of his DVDs and give them to your neighbors, friends and family. EDUCATE them . Otherwise, the road we go down after this next election may just be the poin of no return and the final straw that breaks us all. Lets examine who is running our government. Let us keep asking the question, “who is our government”. Is it the people ? The Senate and Congress ? The Presidential administration ? What makes up “our” government. Lets use the courts to put the criminals in “our government” in jail. If the media is too lax to do any stories on the real issues effecting, affecting and infecting America’s government…, then WE must do it. Think nationally or internationally and act locally in your community organizing and educating.

Town hall meetings are an ideal place to meet people and get started with a motion. Start from the streets and work right on up to the supreme court if necessary. A class action suit for “Redress of Grievances” as well as an indictement on all senators and congressmen (except Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich) or those who have voted for bills against the Constitution and Bill of Rights (i.e., Patriot ACT I and II etc.) However, most important of all, is turning back to God and asking him for the help and the courage to go on. WAKE UP PEOPLE.

    25. The Anti-Beast Chip Man Says:

Okay!! Okay!! Maybe I was wrong about Ron Paul and will have to repent!! What is it about Ron Paul that gives me the creeps!! Maybe it is because he is a gynocologist!!

    26. Damir Says:

Great response to this post by SouthernnMann.

People have Never stood UNITED because if they did evil dictators like Hitler NEVER EVER would have done their evil and killed many people.

The german people where naive and ignorant – they did NOT use their GOD given mind – they followed orders of their Leader – they did NOT question the authority (their Retarded Government) and as a result they killed many people.

The history is being repeated – different Country – different name of the persons implementing the evil plan – but evil is still EVIL

“I am an ambassador on a diplomatic mission to Alderan……..”

Not much different relationship between the Ron Paul campaign and the NWO empire, eh?

    28. In the Womb Says:

By now 90% of America should be pregnant we’ve been so smoothly screwed by our fearless leaders for so many years that maybe now is the time to take the big contraceptive an abort over half of those in office or we’ll be buying maternity colths from now untill hell freezes over just to cover the shame of not being protected from unwanted government officals.

    29. John Doe Says:

Webmasters please fix front page where the feature says “Media Ignores Ron Paul March For Liberty
Steve Watson | Some 15,000+ marched peacefully”

Then in the article, it is claimed “It is estimated that around 2500 people attended the rally. Some have expressed disappointment that there were not 15,000 plus at the event”

      !!!!

    30. Tennessee Says:

What the hell does NWO have to do with Ron Paul you idiot! Why can’t people just agree that we need to get these bastards out of office and stop fighting about irrelevent stuff? Men, get the lace off your panties and grow the heck up!!! THE REVOLUTION STARTS NOW!

    31. libertyeternal Says:

I don’t know where that ‘2,500′ estimate came from but there was easily 3 times that many people there. I would say at least 8,000+. It was indeed a bit difficult to gauge the number since people were definitely ducking the sun and circled around the edges. It was an amazing event, lots of great people out there.

    32. Rhonda Says:

There are some very interesting comments here. What I need to know is if Ron Paul is directly linked to the new “Liberty” organization or just endorses it. I have not been able to figure that one out.

As far as the march/rally was concerned, I did not know there was one. Some months ago, everybody and their brother (and sister–hehe) was coming up with such a suggestion, even Dr. Paul, but at the time at least, not one of them seemed to take hold. Therefore since I do have other things to do in my life, I did not pay anymore attention to it.

I also feel that for the public makeover of getting them to respond, a rally is not for that purpose. A rally is more like a get-together for like-minded people who maybe are going to have a barbecue. A march is something that does need numbers and actionable stances need to be taken to some degree beyond just marching down the road to be able to achieve the ultimate goal of the march.

No matter how you look at it……..DR. PAUL IS STILL OUR HERO! Yes, for without him, there would not have been a rally or a march and there would be no need for “them” to be taking pictures of a certain group or having police around enmass just waiting and hoping for an excuse to “kick” around a few people.

For those who are condemning Dr. Paul and even those who support him, I feel it is strange that Hillary is not getting the same. She is a lier and she used up all her money and now is wanting more from us. She apparently does not know how to budget herself and is a loser ( as described here by some people). So it is apparent that those who are criticizing Dr. Paul and his supporters are obviously Hillary people and are worried enough to take the time to say all those negative things. Otherwise why bother? Of course they might also be McCain and Obama people or a mixture of all three, but no matter, WE ARE CHAMPIONING those negative people and it shows!

      Rhonda

    33. Tim White Says:

At about noon, I asked a Capitol Hill police officer of the estimated crowd size. He said that it was 5,000… though that number was definitely from earlier in the day… and from noon on, I think the crowd grew until Dr. Paul spoke.

Also you may not know, police routinely estimate crowd sizes. I’m assuming that it’s part of their routine… if for no other reason than to coordinate traffic flow at the end of an event.

    34. Michael Says:

I was there from 8am – 6pm (the whole day) and spoke with a couple of DC cops, a few marshals, and other attendees. All were in agreement that there were at a bare minimum, 10K+ throughout the day. I’ve been to a lot of public events in the past from 5K to 80K in various size sports stadiums and the like. From those experiences, I estimated that here WERE at least 10,000 people and possibly up to 15K that showed up throughout the day. But only DHS probably has an accurate estimate (head count), if you know what I mean…

The MSM has totally blacked out coverage. Even Aimee Allen, who promised coverage on MTV, has been strangely silent. No MTV coverage all of a sudden. I don’t believe that “THEY” ever expected a crowd with those kinds of numbers. I also spoke with a few people that were from D.C. (in their late 30’s) and they said that they had NEVER seen that many people on the West Lawn of the Capitol Building — ever; and that they had attended a lot of protests and rallys there. Lastly, I’ve received dozens of emails (well over 200) from people that said that they WISH that they could’ve been there, but could not attend (the reason usually given was because of the expense of the trip). I could barely afford to go (and I’m only a few states away) and it was a real stretch to do it — no frills, no hotel/motel, no sleep, just transportation and some food. So, for every person that could actually go, there were at least 50-100 that couldn’t, but wanted to.

It was a VIRTUAL million man march on Washington. And that’s why the MSM has attempted to trivialize and diminish what was a HUGE event — the likes of which Washington apparently hasn’t seen for many years. It was awesome, and well worth the trip, no matter what “they” say!

The MSM has, yet again, shown their true colors…

      Hello everybody,

I am from holland and i would like to invite you to view a speech on google video
just type in : David icke the big picture

It was from 6 july 2008

Ron Paul to me … from what i have and seen in video and read seems a descent person..

Too bad NWO minions are not!

Good luck Alex Jones and everybody helping.

“The means by which we live have outdistanced the ends for which we live. Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power. We have guided missiles, and misguided men”.

    36. paul supporter Says:

I know that there were 10,000 people there and atleast 12,000 to 15,000 marching. Some people laft after the march was over but atleast 10,000 stayed for the rally event. There were some people that left at the end of the day though but there were 10,000 people there at the beggining of the rally. It is true, there were a whole lot of people sitting in the shade because it was really hot. I had to go to the medic to get water because I ran out of water and got so dehydrated from sitting in the middle of the capital lawn near the stage. So there were a whole bunch of people hanging out in the shade. I eventually joined them and listened to the speakers from there until later when Ron Paul gave his speech and I went back out to the middle of the lawn.

After sacrificing so much and working so hard with all of my meetup groups the past 14 months for the revolution and after everything I have been a part of this year in this movement, this was the most amazing experience of my life. What can be better than traveling to the root of the problem and protest and march with 15,000 people to the footsteps of the capital and give them a much needed ear full. It was worth the 22 hour drive there and back, every minute!

Now I know that I have to be at the convention in Minneapolis for Ron Paul September 2nd and the national convention. I know that if we keep going, we can make true change, it is already happening. Like Alex says, more and more people are waking up everyday. The revolution is going strong. We are just getting started.

I am going to support Ron Paul and the delegates that I know are going. We have to keep building momentum and supporting each others efforts. Like Ron Paul has said, all we need is about 3 to 5% of the population to wake up and we are definately getting there. If there are other things going on with the message of liberty and limited constitutional government then I am going to be a part of it as well. I want to lend a hand to as many people as possible in this revolution.

I met a few people who woke up for the first time from the march. They have never heard the speakers and Ron Paul’s message of liberty before and it opened their eyes. They had no idea that the federal Reserve was a private banking system and that most all of our liberties were being taken away by our own government. I think it was a shock to her system, the lady I met. She came to the event because she saw thousands of people marching and was curious about what was going on. I wonder how many people came to the event because they saw the march from the street and came for curiosity sake. Seeds were definitely planted. Not only that, the march and rally breathed new life into the supporters and gave them fire to continue. We are waking people up to the truth and the more we are out there, the more we educate and protest, the more people are going to wake up and join us. I am going to the National convention and I hope that as many people come as possible. If you don’t get active, get involved. The time is now. We are not at the 11th hour, it is 11:59. If we don’t stand together for the sake of liberty and do something now, it is going to be too late. Get involved in local government, write your congressmen, protest, hand out dvd’s, canvass your precincts, go to republican and democratic party meetings and talk to people, set up book clubs and debate groups in your neighborhoods and colleges, do all that you can do. Prepare as well and buy gold and silver and food. Just get up and do something, whatever you think is best.

If we give up now, then our children and future generations will have nothing and liberty will be a foreign word to them. Thomas Jefferson said “Honor, justice, and humanity, forbid us tamely to surrender that freedom which we received from our gallant ancestors, and which our innocent posterity have a right to receive from us. We cannot endure the infamy and guilt of resigning succeeding generations to that wretchedness which inevitably awaits them if we basely entail hereditary bondage on them.” Thomas Jefferson, Declaration of the Causes and Necessities of Taking up Arms, July 6, 1775

      The revolution continues…

    37. Jellicle Says:

Steve, c’mon man you’re slipping. There were at least 10,000 people there. They were all spread out. I was told over and over that there were more at the rally than at the march for a couple reasons. And at the rally people came and went and came and went again, but Washinton DC was over-run with Revolutionaries!!!
Some important speakers that were not mentioned: Naomi Wolfe (not Klien -honest mistake), but Joe Bannister, Ernie Hancock, and Gary Franchi was the main speaker. They were incredible as always!

      One reason people were scattered:
The march did not hesitate. It started promptly at 10am. I was one who was left behind. lol! My three yr. old had a mishap on the way and we were about 15 minutes late.
      Another is that:
There were people posing as a side group in matching t-shirts handing out flyers telling everyone who missed the march to go in different directions. We were like a bunch of confused ants in the lawn asking each other which way to go -exchanging numbers with strangers to let us know.
It was incredibly hot and humid and not a soul regrets attending. It was amazing. The other goal of the march was to rejuvenite us all, to remind us that we’re not alone, that we have brothers and sisters across the nation who are fighting as hard as we are. The love was stronger here than at any church! No judement, no hypocrasy, no pessimism. Just passionate and determined people who are fighting for our liberty to restore the constitution and to celebrate our strength!
We fight for liberty, but let’s not forget justice! Whoever said the NWO has nothing to do with this is missing something.
Friends who were there, I love you all!

    38. daily Says:

Wow I couldn’t keep my eyes off the sniper with the binoculars. I can’t help but wonder wtf his issues was.

    39. Gary W Trott Says:

I went to the march and rally with other members of our Meetup in Rhode Island and it was the most inspirational event that I have ever attended. An energetic and peaceful gathering of people coming together for the single cause of spreading the message of liberty and constitutional government. Making it clear to those in attendance and tourists passing by who paused to watch and listen that this message is not one of the Democrats or one of the Republicans, or any other political party, but one of Americans determined to regain our birthright as a free people. Who cares if the major media was in attendance or not? Word of mouth and the internet will spread this message far and wide and we who were there represented the ideals of freedom in the best light possible by being passionate yet peaceful.

As I sat in the shade listening to the speakers I looked out upon people of all ages, from toddlers to aging baby boomers, who were a part of something that is going to grow and grow. If we all do our part to spread the message of liberty and constitutional government someday those toddlers will be telling their grandchilren that they were there on the day that the journey of regaining our birthright began. Together we can complete that journey and as the lyrics to a song of my youth said, “It’s a long long journey so stay by my side. When I walk through the dark you’ll be my guide.” We can do it!

    40. Doug Wright Says:

at least Ron Paul is a good Dr.?, and fair media whore-beyond that everything is co-opted; get it! folks We are the media-we are what matters. The alphabet soup channels are just dedicated business agents. When will this energy be put into something real. -reminds me of the Republicans who could end abortion, or the Democrats who could stall war funding…., ya see there was a guy in selling coke in the islands and my dad asked to buy the whole 6pack “well than what would I do all day” says the guy?!

Ron Paul needs to get over himself-he’s got the charisma of a paperclip. There are real issues that have a fair chance of prevailing; immigration, fisa(oops!)at least we could get some debate on impeachment-if ten thousand were organised…..?

    41. solarnyc Says:

lies. unfortunately, mainstream news (cnn, local news stations) all had briefs about the parade.
granted they didnt interview anyone, nor did they propogandize, but they did point out the parade occured.

    42. Tad Ghost Hole Says:

Take a bullhorn to every goddamned ghost towned strip mall in yer community and do your best Ron Paul send up. Whatever that means to you.

    43. New World Liberty Says:

you know there is a problem with the government when a guy rants about FISA when selling a used cable modem on craig’s list.

      http://portland.craigslist.org.....56048.html

    44. Lal Wynstrom Says:

Several anti-abortion/pro-life rallies superior in number have advanced on Washington in the last several years and the media has given scant attention to those as well, beyond perhaps some “honorable mention”.

Depending on whose report you believe between 8,000-15,000 people showed up for the Paul rally. Great job! But why would anyone have expected the mainstream news media to give it great positive press no matter how many showed up? The DPM was dedicated to marginalizing and suppressing the Paul campaign throughout the whole time he ran. The alternative media was where this effort’s attention should have been all the time. And most of the time it was in a very positive fashion.

As for Ron Paul making this about him, he never has. Many times the good congressman stated that the campaign and the march were never to be about him, but about a return to the constitutional basis of this country, that this movement was to be a permanent revolution to that end. So those who claim Ron Paul’s an attention seeker need to get over their misperceptions.

I’m glad those 8,000-15,000 brave souls did get out there to send a message to the Establishment, and believe it or not, that message remains long after the march itself has ended.

    45. Rico White Says:

Several mistakes in the article …

Firstly, Naomi Wolf spoke at the event, not Naomi Klein — both “Naomi’s” are liberal, female Jewish journalists-cum-activists.

Secondly, it is G. Edward Griffin, not “Edward G. Griffin.”

I hope that in the future InfoWars will offer its readers quality articles without such obvious mistakes present. A pattern of such mistakes can damage the credibility of this website.

Mike, I know that you are a good guy but are you blind? There were way more than 2,500 there.( I am not putting you in with likes of these other guys but come on dude, i was there too and there were way more people than that and I am a skeptical human being.) I talked to a police officer too and he said that there were at least 8,000 to 10,000 people there. I don’t think there were 15,000 but I could be wrong, I am conservative. I don’t like to over predict, that is why I asked a cop, who probably sees these type of marches in DC all the time.

I appreciate what Garry Trott, jellicle, paul supporter, Michael, and liberty eternal said. They are telling truth.

My fam looked for reports on every station throughout the day for the march and they couldn’t find anything. I didn’t think they would cover it anyway.

RJP- RP people and info warriors are not isolationists. I love how you use the media tagline they give Ron Paul. It is easy to tell where you get your news from. The founders did not believe in entangling alliances and they said this many times because they studied history and knew what it did and how it corrupted free people. Here is a statement where John Adams describes the foreign policy of the American republic( we are supposed to be a republic):

” Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be. But she goes not abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all. She is the champion and vindicator only of her own. She will commend the general cause by the countenance of her voice, and the benignant sympathy of her example. She knows that by once enlisting under other banners than her own, were they even banners of foreign independence, she would involve herself beyond the power of extrication, in all the wars of interest and intrigue, of individual avarice, envy, and ambition, which assume the colors and usurp the standard of freedom. The fundamental maxims of her policy would insensibly change from liberty to force… She might become the dictatress of the world. She would no longer be the ruler of her own spirit…”

We are not isolationists, we believe in trading with other countries and showing a good example(this government we have now couldn’t show a good example but if we lived in the type of constitutional limited free government we are supposed to have we could be a beacon). When we go down the path of making alliances and scratching other countries backs while they scratch ours, we get into big messes and start to lose the liberties we once had. Every time we have made an alliance and tried to spread “democracy” through force, we have created blowback and made things a thousand times worse. So there are no isolationists here, just people with enough common sense to know what interventionism ultimately ends up doing.

If you were at the march or are doing something to try and get our country back then great, if you aren’t and only whine, then stand in line for the wonderful future of oppression and serfdom that awaits you since you are so keen on squashing anyone who is actually trying to change things for the better for their future and their families future.

Why is Steve Watson writing about the freaking march when he lives way the hell over in the UK? Couldn’t someone from this side of the pond who actually went to the event write an article for infowars about it. I am not saying what he said is not true, it is, but I want to hear it from people who were there. Get some new reporters Alex please!!!!!

The march was awsome BTW ;)

I honestly don’t understand the worlds addiction to TV. I haven’t had one for 15 years. Whenever I go to a friends and catch a glimps of the TV I get horrified. I is totally insulting. I quite my gym membership because the TV’s were facing the aerobics equiptment.

    49. Obiwan Says:

I think that it was great that we got that many people together, but…

What did the 15,000 to 20,000 people march accomplish?

      Did we rescind unjust laws?

Did we stop any bad guys?

      Did we even get a t-shirt? :)

We can’t just TRY to rescind unjust laws and stop the bad guys, we have to ACTUALLY stop them.

Ron Paul is a great guy, but he is not a leader. He neutralized an entire group of patriots. Next time you want to “march”; do it with pitchforks, torches and ropes. I will be there if you want to actually accomplish something.

Until then, I will just watch you people expend your energy on fruitless endeavors that are non-mission-critical to the NWO agenda.

This isn’t a game. They are trying to kill you with poison in your food, water and air without waking up the rest of the public. It’s time to wake people up.

    50. Rebel Says:

WTF? I was there. try 20,000-30,000 people were there. 20,000 did the march and around 10,000 more filtered in through out the day. Best March I have ever been to. 9/11 truthers were out in major numbers to. One Arizona Cop, during his speech yells “9/11 was an Inside job!” and the crowd went crazy.

    51. Nat Says:

We should have some kind of poll to take a count of how many “WANTED” to be there but couldn’t go.

    52. MontgomeryScott Says:

      Steve watson:
on what do you base your estimate of attendence? I WAS THERE, and there were 10,000 people easily.
      Guess you weren’t there, reporter—

    53. Gary Sephel Says:

Made the drive from Ohio on Friday night, 2,500 seems to be about right from what I saw. The heat eliminated about half of that before Ron Paul spoke. With two kids in tow, we left ourselves to check in our room then came back without the kids to hear Dr. Paul speak. It was worth the drive & I would do it again & again to show my support.

    54. Amy Says:

I believe there was disinformation in the subway / Metro. I heard from 2 different sources that they (or somebody they knew) was told that Ron Paul canceled.

      The march was Freaking Fantastic!

Can anybody spot the all seeing eye?

    56. Marolyn Says:

There were easily 10,000+ people and probably a lot more with people coming and going all day long. Everyone needs to high-tail it over to youtube and have a look at the videos of the actual march and then of the folks who kept to the trees because the sun was so hot. If you only look at pictures or videos of the stage you’ll be mislead because it was just too hot to stand there all afternoon.

    57. Jellicle Says:

You didn’t mean to f**k up the numbers right Steve? Happy Birthday!
Why don’t you jump the pond for Minnesota so you can count for yourself!
      See you all there!!!!!
